Room was great, staff was great While we could see the Moulin Rougue from our place, the location isn't the nicest considering all the shops around it.
The location is amazing - after viewing so much of paris - returning to blanche/pigalle is like beginning a new party but the hotel is soundproof so is up to you whether you want to continue or go to sleep. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy but very small - just the space for queen bed and two little side walks to get in it. The bathroom is the same as a big rainforest shower takes up a lot of space but to be honest it's worthed.
.Large bath tub. Upgraded us to a larger room for free. Area was sketchy. Bathtub no shower. Wifi wasn't great. Large room wasn't really big.
The room was comfortable and cosy because of nicely selected colors and materials. For Paris and the price it was quite large. Nice and clean bathroom. Our room was noisy because of the thin door towards the corridor. There was no cupboard or shelf to put clothes
minimalist design, spacious room, good location, excellent customer service lack of fridge and coffee making facilities - shower's a bit messy
Clean , modern good location
The atmosphere of the hotel No
Resteraunt and church up the hill Lack of help with resteraunts from staff
Location, cleanliness Our room opened onto the dining room so was noisy in the morning
Hotel was clean and staff pleasant. Breakfasts were very good value for money. The location.
The staff was excellent - very friendly and good restaurant recommendations in the area. The rooms were clean and the showers were awesome. There is a strange odor in the elevator.
Convenient location near centre of Paris and Metro station. Balcony overlooking street. Breakfast included. Staff were helpful and friendly. We booked and paid for room for five and were initially given a room for four. There weren't enough towels in the room. The shower head would not stay in position while showering. Beds were squeezed into room with very little free floor space. Minimal cupboard and storage space. No tea making facilities in room. The corridor outside our room was very noisy. Little variety at breakfast. Breakfast was served in a tiny little room which got very crowded at busy times. Wireless internet was unreliable as their computer hardware is not made for the job. Location is near a red light district with lots of "alternative entertainment".
It's quite good hoyel for its cheep enough price. Locatiton is near the metro station. Good hotel for thise who arrived in Paris to spend all the day in this fantastic city and need hotel only for sleeping. Very poor breakfast and not enough seats in breakfast room.
nothing towel in the bath room on mini bar
Very close to Metro station. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Quiet street. Double bed a bit small. Breakfast room too small for the number of guests.
The location was very central, close to the tube and Montmartre The sheets were dirty, and so were the blankets. A live caterpillare was crawling in between the bedsheets..The shower in the bathroom was not working properly.
-Location is near Moulin Rouge but (see negative) -it's Paris, hotels are going to be expensive and cramped.. so if you're okay with that, this is a good hotel. -very near underground -room had a balcony, very nice if wanting to relax in room. -street was quiet at night -Location is near Red Light district / porn store central -room was cramped for 4 adults and 2 kids, but sleep was no problem. -parking.. none, loading/unloading.. very difficult. parking will cost you no less than 28 euros per day in a garage... take the train to Paris. you'll enjoy your stay much more.
The location was good and close to many bars/restaurants and in easy reach of the metro. We didn't like the fact that with one of the rooms that we had, if we left curtains/the window open, we looked directly into other people's rooms and vice versa so not particularly private. Also having booked breakfast our first morning, there was not enough room to sit all of the people that required breakfast and the selection was poor for 7 euros per person
Proximity to trains, Moulin Rouge, nightlife. the mattress was saggy. The room had some unfinished repair work, but probably a timing issue I would hope. Ran out of croissants with an hour to go of breakfast.
Good location, situated between Montmartre and the river and main art galleries. Everywhere we wanted to go was walkable or easy to reach by metro - Pigalle Metro about 7 minutes slow walk from the hotel, with direct connection to the Gare du Nord, and thence train direct to Charles de Gaulle airport. Staff were polite and helpful. Hotel fairly basic, no frills, breakfast not included (though we preferred to eat breakfast out anyway, which is easy in Paris!), but clean and with all essentials.
The staff was quite nice, and was very helpful. Also, the area was perfect for going out at night. The bedroom blankets were covered in hair from past guests- not the cleanest thing i've ever seen.
They were very polite and helpful getting us checked into the hotel. When I asked for ice chips for an ice bag (for a couple of knee injuries), they powered their ice-maker on and loaned us a couple gel packs while it came up to speed. Their breakfast offerings were diverse: bread with meat and cheese, nutella, or butter and jam, yogurt, cold cereal, fruit, and two automatic espresso machines or juice and milk to drink. When we were running late returning to the hotel, we called and they said it was no problem, just to ring at the door and the night clerk would let us in. It was that easy. Every time I talked to the night clerk (on midnight ice-pack refill runs), he was very enthusiastic and friendly. In fact, all of their staff were very kind and helpful (like when the A/C unit got stuck on heat--it was fixed very quickly and remotely from the front desk). It was noisy at night from the other guests, and the bathroom may have needed some attention to get rid of a vinegar-like odor of mold or mildew. Airing it out helped, but it was noticeable.
good location.value for money booked 4 double/twin rooms and 1 single room but the person in the single room was told it was not available the first night and had to move to another hotel. Were told a problem with electricity but when he returned next day was told the room was not ready as it had not been vacated yet.thought this was poor.
Great location, not too touristy, plenty of local colour and bars and restaurants No English television, not even CNN, room too small, no attachment on the wall for shower, not enough shelving in bathroom.
The staff were friendly and were willing to help.Especially the people at FO. The best thing was that they were able to communicate in English. I think the check in time has to be little earlier. Not 3 PM.And they should try to provide a shower curtain so that water does not spill out.
Great locations, helpful staff and plentiful breakfast.
Excellent hotel, being quite small it offered a very personnel service, have never seen anywhere so clean. I also liked that when you book out at 12.00 they have a place where you can store luggage for the day if your flight isn't till evening. If anything the rooms are a bit small, but this is to be expected in Paris hotels!
wonderful, helpful staff, great location. bright clean hotel. quiet at night so great for sleeping. every need was catered for. close to great cafes, restaurants, shops and metro. wonderful to walk - and some lovely gardens tucked away by sacre coeur. We will go back.
Splendid location, lovely staff, comfortable room.
location and convenience room very small
Very nice view to the Eiffeltower
Nice street overall too touristy and unsafe, I was pickpocketed but the police caught thetbieves as they stole my wallet. The Paris police was superb.0 Need to warn visiters about high risk for pickpocket.
I've stayed here before. Having previously stayed in Paris many times, I knew the first time that I stayed at Hotel Trois Poussins that 'this was it'. and there was no need to try yet another hotel on my next visit to the city. It's a little haven, from its attractive sitting area/reception, to the clean, comfortable rooms and the unique vaulted breakfast room. The staff are unfailingly charming and helpful, and both breakfast and room- service meals have been excellent.
Helpfulness of reception staff Rooms a bit small.
nice place to stay in Paris
The staff were very helpful. The room was unspectacular but comfortable and very functional. The resident cat gave us much pleasure each morning!
Handy to most things, small room however it is really only to sleep in.
There was always someone available to answer questions.
Helpful staff, close to metro stop, clean.
Very nice room, pretty and clean. Personnel were very friendly and helpful. Small showers but that's not unusual for France (unless you're staying at an expensive hotel)
nice room, excellent service
too expensive for the small rooms
Room was nice and clean. Great view of Eiffel tower from the room window. Location was close to the Pigalle metro, so getting around paris was a cinch. There was a laundromat and a supermart on the next alley. Useful for extended stays like we had for 4 days. wifi internet in the room was great. Small room but this was to be expected for this price point. No really a negative for us.
Very good service. Clean rooms and good location to the Pigalle metrostation.
Great Locatio despite all the sex shops. Thats attraction also. Great staff always there to help you. small room but very ok for Paris. it was very Clean no closet.
The people working were very friendly and helpful and it is a handy location
Very friendly personel. They speak many languages. Direct metro to Gare dur Nord. Not a romantic area.
Reception Crane leakage
My fiance and I enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was clean, and incredibly reasonably priced. It was perfectly located on the metro, and it was easy to get anywhere in the city. The neighborhood is lively and had tons of shops and food for a quick dinner.
Excellent place. non-english speaking housekeeping.
Location close to metro and buses, easy to reach. Located in the red light district of Paris. No climatisation in the room (the room was very hot) Bed was small
location, cleanness, room no breakfast included
Close to Moulin Rouge so you do have to take the metro or bus into the main part of the city. One of the tourist bus lines has a stop nearby.
The Hotel was lovely, the staff were friendly and efficient and it was very well priced for the location and room....I was delighted... That was until they gave a man that was somewhat stalking me my Hotel number and he came up uninvited, they put me in serious danger!!! That is not to be taken slightly, also the elevators are very dysfunctional, management holds meetings in the lobby.
The service was excellent. The desk clerks was very accommodating. Especially(Hotel employee) and a female clerk were very helpful and kind. The bathrooms were not clean for either stay. The room we were provided on the second night, 12/11/14, was so small it was uncomfortable. The bath was so small a person had to sit sideway on the toilet. The bathroom smelled and the shower door was broken.
a deserted street. clean room. very Simply amenity.. only soap and shampoo. this area dose not variety route.(metro, bus) So we have to walking about 10~15 minutes go to the important traffic hub 'place de clichy'
quiet location and good interior no parking

Staff was great. Room was small, but nice. You could hear the trains passing by, which wasn't great. Some of the things in the room didn't work initially.

Close to everything. Very helpful staff. Lot of hair left in the bathroom.
The area is not a tourist destination but well within the walking distance to most of the popular places.I could see and feel the 'daily Paris' walking around the Hotel. The Hotel is a part of traditional apartment and was very clean ,neatly arranged. Nothing.
Location is perfect! near several metro stations.
Location, lobby lounge bar all excellent, view of the eiffel tower from our room on the fifth floor was a nice bonus. Room was modern and daily cleaning was excellent. Location right between 3 subways, easily accessed the whole city. carpet stains were disturbing, breakfast was disappointing and reservation was unclear about the fact that it was not included. Close to excellent boulangeries that we used for breakfast instead.
Very close to the train stop. There are quite a few places to eat. The rooms were smaller than small.
Just average. Aging furniture. A bit noisy on the street side.
The hotel is in a convenient location for me. My room was spacious and clean. There was no airconditioning in the room so I roasted on the first night. They did give me a fan for the second night, but it didn't really help much.
Nothing I had to insist to have breakfast included in the rate even if it was specified in my booking reservation. Breakfast starts to late (7.30) and there is no disponibility to prepare you something before. Wi-fi is too expensive (8 euro per hour). It seems that they do not care about their customers knowing that being in Paris they will always have customers.
v. Comfort , good and helpful staff talk english , clean bathroom, near McDonald's and kfc Restaurant, near bus and taxi line. . I like it. No air conditioning but they have fan.
Nothing ! Address was .08 Champs de Elysee but in fact it was in a very rough, run down area near a train station, and a long way from Champs de Elysee. Area not suitable for walking but taxis hard to come by.
Very good .:
the location and the staff elevator
The rooms were very nice and clean, at a level one would expect to pay a lot more...
staff helpful, ease of access to restaurants and central paris coffee making facilities needed in room
Great location and near metro stop. Easy parking. Plenty of restarants nearby.
location to nearby facilities and downtown length of time to check in
breakfirst room not good
Rooms are very nice with plenty of space which are Modern and clean. Rooms contain kettle with tea and coffee, fridge and safe which are all free. The breakfast was not fantastic and quite expensive.
Very good location. Nice rooms and friendly stuff. Not understandable room cleaning schedule. One day You have to wait until 16:00 for cleaned room, but for example on Saturday and Sunday somebody tried to access the room starting from 9:00 and every 20 min.
One employee from the breakfast room was extremely rude.
seperate toilet from bathroom came in handy when we had friends over to get ready to go out in the evening; the location was very good for Moulin Rouge/Sacre Cour area; quiet staff was not very helpful with recommendations for dinner
Lovely staff, very helpful. Rooms were very good. Great location. Breakfast was expensive.
Conveniently placed in an interesting area. Several restaurants close at hand as was metro
position small bathroom, very small room, number of towels not enough for us, staff not affable.
The hotel is well located; it has an adequate breakfast; the room entirely met my needs. It is a good value for the money.
It is very clean and friendly and is situated in a part of Paris which suited us
Poor internet access, staff often lying to promote business (e.g. which restaurants are open, ways to get to the airport)
I like frendly helpful staff and very good location.
Personel was kind. The internetconnection didn't work.
Very close to everything and although basic, clean and comfortable. I would stay again.
it was very centrally located and in a very nice locality . nothing really
We choose this place for a second time and is very convenient because of the location, and all the good restaurants around this area, plus the Metro Pigalle which is very good for visiting the center of the town. The lobby was renovated since last year, and I beat some of the rooms were too. Well, we have the suspicion that they give us the same room as the last time we were there, because is one of the smallest and not renovated and because we book through booking.com. I wonder if this is true...
Really close to the metro, clean. It's a standard Paris 2 star hotel, it's fine for couple day's stay in this expensive city.
Nice Hotel for price. Near all things I wanted to see.
Evening counter staff was friendly and helpful. However daytime staff was opposite, a little unfriendly. Tv was broken, very bad picture. And no remote control. The shower faucet was broken also . Not so difficult to fix, yet they hadnt.
It was realy near by the city transport and are near to the restaurants and shopping center yes ,the hotel has only shower, and even the shower is too narrow. The room I rented was double bed but was with very narror shower. The bed sheet was not changed for the 3 nights of my stay.some of the recpetionist are not polite. There was only one towel every day, even though we were two persons in the room
Location is good - near metro, restaurants, etc. Room quite small and noise from other rooms can be heard easily but good for 1-2 nights visit or short work trip.
The staff were trying to find a solution for my problem The hotel was advertised to offer baby cots, but when we went there they didnt have any. This was a big problem for us.
Very supportive staff
is a very quiert, friendly and clean hotel.
Just across the road from my uncles house , so very handy no tea coffee and kettle facilities in the room
Very helpful staff.
Quiet and well placed The cleaning of the bathromm was not very good
location, near Monmartre and Sacre Coeur. Fine bed room not available at 13.00, but officially at 15.00
We were greeted with smiles and although I tried speaking French, the receptionist recognized my American accent and began speaking English right away. That was a relief! Our room and bathroom were unexpectedly large, especially for Europe. The elevator was large as well, fitting 4 people. We asked the staff to make dinner reservations and they were happy to do this, and asked about our dinner A few blocks from the Metro.
its a nice hotel, basically what you'd expect in a holiday inn partner hotel.professional. they did not have a funtional resturant.
the position was ok, breakfast ok, staff ok one of the rooms was very small
The room was beautiful...the staff, exceptional. In winter, the temperature can't be adjusted.
Beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. Will definitely go back.
The very good bed! The showerhead didn't work properly (so I had to bend over not to get my hear wet) and here was no working electricity in the bathroom for me to do my hear.
The hotel was modern, clean and friendly. It's proximity to Montmarte is excellent. There was some disagreement on check out between what was booked on the internet and what the hotel thought was booked. This was resolved in my favour.
Nice decor. Free internet access. Professional staff. Great location. Bed was too small. Bathtub was too small. Lights and lamps could not be controlled individually (all or nothing). They charged a supplement to watch TV. Should have been EUR50 less per night.
Very good location.Close to metro. Air conditioned. Breakfast served promptly in the room. Staff very helpfull. Unable to get a table in the restaurant.
The staff went out of their way to ensure that our stay was enjoyable. Their service was superb. The location was great - with café bars and restaurants close and a superb view of the Eiffel tower from our bedroom. Breakfast wasn't as varied as it could have been.
we had a very colourful room, very comfortable bed and great bathroom. We liked the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole place. no
View from suite across Paris was fantastic. You could see the Eiffel Tower & all across Paris. Hotel was probably a bit on th ecostly side. It was in a quiet location though which was nice & close by many restaurant, all within walking distance. It was 5 minutes walk to the Moulin Rouge, right next door to the Montmartre Cemetery which was incredibly interesting. Sadly the worst experience of my trip was the problem in France with strikes & transport issues.
Staff at breakfast bit slow
The man at reception was very friendly - he was nice enough not to switch to English while I spoke little French with him.
Clean room and en suite, comfortable bed, central. Small room, thin walls, showerhead fixing
Nothing. Service very bad.Expensive.No breakfast that can be called in that way.
It was cheap and at a good location. Its super small rooms and small breakfast.
Very clean with comfortable bed and hot water. Great location with easy Metro access. Who spends a lot of time in the hotel when in Paris anyway???? Towels were paper thin; very inadequate.
Great position, interesting part of Paris, close to Metro.
We liked the position of the hotel (2 minutes to the metro). It has a good value for money rate. The room and bathroom furnitures were very old; the room was small (but clean). The breakfast is basic.
I liked the location, the fact that our room had a view towards the street and you could feel like you are in the city, and especially in Montmartre. Also, it is close to the metro station. If you want to stay in Montmartre, this is the best place. I didn't like the breakfast, which is very poor. Though the location is important in this case, you should be aware that the streets from the metro station to the hotel are filled with "bars" where you can find girls to have fun. So, if you are single or with some friends, you can go there, but it is not very suitable for a family with kids. This doesn't mean that the area is dangerous.
nothing breakfast is not good, noisy room,we cant sleep
Villathena is located in a great possition! Close to Metro and rer (rail). Walking distance from Opera and many shops! The staff is very polite and well trainned. Room were clean and tidy everyday! Free internet access (wi-fi). The size of the room! It was small... not enough space for us and our luggages... Bath towels are small! Bit noissy in late night and early morning hours! Breakfast is overrated!!! Do something about it!
It was very noisy in the morning. The room hasn't been prepared till 16.40.
Very helpful staff and flexible service It was impossible to have a shower withour soaking the entire bathroom because of the poor design of the bathroom setup.
Bed was very comfortable. Nice clean and modern bathroom. Difficulty making a long distance call to Canada using a phonecard. But, eventually, the staff were able to help.
Location was within reasonable walking distance to most main areas, price was favorable compared to other properties during start of Paris "high season" (and with booking on short notice). Bed was comfortable. Good working air conditioning. Rooms seemed to be constructed of inexpensive materials and were in disrepair (wall panels falling apart, stains on walls and ceiling, curtains not hung properly, dirty floor). I did not expect this as the hotel was refurbished and opened just in February 2007!! There was NO lobby or "receiving" area whatsoever. No services. "Free" WIFI was very difficult to use. There were no instructions or service info in the rooms about anything (fornt desk did at least have maps). Prices in sparse minibar were a bit too high, even for Paris. Hotel front desk staff could not even tell me options to get back to CDG airport. I had to go to another hotel for this!
Location and friendliness of staff as well as modern design of hotel and rooms. Rooms were clean with air conditioning and cable tv as well as mini-bar and sewing set. close by some nice coffee places and backeries as well as good connection to public transport. Small rooms but didnt bother us that much since we were most of the day outside in the city and came back only for sleeping, and I guess this is the standard in Paris.
Location The room was very small and the street very noisy
Good location, stylish (if small) room, friendly staff Lack of clothes hangers in the wardrobe
The location is good. Close to metro & department store. The room is too small.
Great location, really helpful staff, well planned and comfortable bedrooms The basin in the bathroom...you couldn't wash your face as the shelf above it obstructed your head. Really minor problem though
