It had some decent restaurants around and the staff were very friendly. It was a little too far from the main section of Paris.
its location and peaceful very small clothes wardrobe
Good location, relatively quiet, overall a good experience. some of the staff could be much more helpful
Superb reception staff. Very helpful. Arrived at 0845 after a 12 hour train journey from Berlin - room immediately available as was breakfast!! Nothing
Easy access to anywhere in Paris - metro at top of road. Within walking distance of Montmartre and loads of restaurants and bars. Lively area yet quiet in the hotel. We had a great New Year!
The hotel is nice and cozy. You enter through a secure gate to get to the hotel entrance. The lobby is small and personable and the staff was very helpful. The elevator is super tiny. One person with luggage could get in easily, otherwise one must wait on its return. We were up one floor, so taking the stairs wasn't an issue at all. The room was clean and nicely laid out. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the hotel's entrance. The bed was positioned to have a view of the balcony and outside. Having the door open with the cool breeze come through was very peaceful. The room was quite small, but for my boyfriend and I, it was perfectly fine. There is a small hallway from the bed area to the bathroom that has a door that you can close for extra privacy and quietness. The bathroom was nice and bright. The shower was great. Nice water pressure and temperature. Breakfast was included in our stay and I only got breakfast one day, but the morning that I had it, it was good. A nice selection of foods to eat as well as breakfast drinks. It was a bit noisy in the room from people in the hallways. Made it seem as if they were in the room too. The location can be a little iffy for families as it is off (or part of?) the "red light district". It gets kind of noisy outside of the security gate late at night/really early in the morning from patrons out and about having a good time, but it wasn't frustratingly noisy enough to get upset about. Also, we had our balcony door open, so we probably heard more than usual.
The hotel is clean (except below) and the staff is friendly and helpful. Let me preface this with saying that they are renovating the hotel at this time. the location of the hotel is in a not so great area near the red light district. that being said, the hotel itself sits off the street and is gated with 24 hour security. The room was clean and modern but our batch room was old. Because of this, there was rust and mildew marks all over the bathtub.
Hotel located near the city. Spacous and clean room Poor attitude of the staff. No concierge at all. We carried our baggeges to the room but not by the help of the hotel staff. Signs of the hotel is not clear and eye catching.
The staff were great. The breakfast was yummy.walking distance to Moulin Rouge and Sacred heart. Nice selection of restaurants near the hotel. Close to the Big Bus tourist. route N/A everything was goog
Good value for money: family room spacious enough, good breakfast buffet, quiet location, close to metro station. Handy to be able to park you car safely in a garage (paying service). The bathroom is quite aged and could use some modernisation.
excuse, I don't understand this question... see above
Very quiet room. Great for sleeping off jet lag. Excellent location. Lots to walk to. Easy to reach by metro.
good clean room and the staff no
Personalized service, hotel location Small rooms/bathrooms
Great location in the charming Montmarte, agree with all of the positive comments made about the hotel, after staying in good but somewhat impersonal hotels throughout Europe, Le Relais stood out as a small delightful and comfortable place to stay and explore Paris, not to mention Vincent who was as expected charming and helpful, as were all of the staff who made us feel welcome, would happily stay there again. Have to agree the breakfast is pricey for what was on offer, so like others have done we just walked around the corner to one of the many cafes.but this is the only negative in what was a very positive stay
Very helpful reception staff, comfortable room and ideal location with lots of restaurants within walking distance Noise from lift on occasion
Wonderful location, quiet street, beautiful foyer, lovely rooms. Close to Sacre Coeur, close to restaurants and other amenities. All very tasteful. Male receptionist on morning of 7 September was notably pleasant and helpful. Receptionist having long, loud conversations on the telephone while we were trying to relax in the otherwise peaceful foyer. The hotel was a bit pricey even compared with London, for example, accentuated of course by the weak pound against the euro.
The very helpful and welcoming staff Our groundfloor bedroom was a little noisy
Location, cleanliness of the room, very pleasant and helpful staff.
The peace and quiet of the hotel yet within walking distance of many restaurants and places of interest
Location Cost of breakfast when good bakeries are across the road. Why not just offer coffee and croissant for around 5 Euros as that's all most people want but are not prepared to pay 13 Euros.
The staff was excellent - very friendly and good restaurant recommendations in the area. The rooms were clean and the showers were awesome. There is a strange odor in the elevator.
Room was great, staff was great While we could see the Moulin Rougue from our place, the location isn't the nicest considering all the shops around it.
Clean , modern good location
The location is amazing - after viewing so much of paris - returning to blanche/pigalle is like beginning a new party but the hotel is soundproof so is up to you whether you want to continue or go to sleep. The hotel rooms are clean and tidy but very small - just the space for queen bed and two little side walks to get in it. The bathroom is the same as a big rainforest shower takes up a lot of space but to be honest it's worthed.
minimalist design, spacious room, good location, excellent customer service lack of fridge and coffee making facilities - shower's a bit messy
The atmosphere of the hotel No
Resteraunt and church up the hill Lack of help with resteraunts from staff
Hotel was clean and staff pleasant. Breakfasts were very good value for money. The location.
The room was comfortable and cosy because of nicely selected colors and materials. For Paris and the price it was quite large. Nice and clean bathroom. Our room was noisy because of the thin door towards the corridor. There was no cupboard or shelf to put clothes
Location, cleanliness Our room opened onto the dining room so was noisy in the morning
.Large bath tub. Upgraded us to a larger room for free. Area was sketchy. Bathtub no shower. Wifi wasn't great. Large room wasn't really big.
This is definitely a solid four star hotel. Extremely comfortable bed, nice room, friendly and well spoken front desk personnel including a major league hottie. I liked everything.
Very clean and modern. Staff were great Rooms were tiny, walls were thin, location was a bit out of the way.
The location. The front desk staff were very nice and informative. Our rooms weren't properly cleaned during our stay. One day the old towels were removed but new ones weren't replaced, and the glasses and cups we used weren't cleaned. the floor was never vacuumed in four days. The hotel did not seem like a four star
Upon arrival we were met by an unfriendly, unhelpful man in reception. No Wifi in room. The location is not very good for tourists but is next to the Metro
We had an executive room with 2 levels-bed on ground floor and bathroom on lower level. It had enough room for the bed and space to walk around the bed. Although it was small, but a decent size for Paris! The room and bathroom were very clean! Parking that was recommended was a no-go. Seemed to be inside a mechanic garage and supposed to leave keys! No thanks! We paid 40 euros a day for different garage.Location a bit far from center but metro stop right on corner.
small hotel, nice but I feel it rated 3 stars instead of 4 internet not available in room, was necessary to use it in the lobby. Rooms very hot, necessary to keep window open on the ground floor
Fantastic front desk staff to help first timers in Paris, cute rooms, great location to metro around Paris.
staff and room condition small size of room, location
The staff was great. The room was small and dark.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day. Close to metro station. Location was a little dodgy (exact street).
The decorations were very unique and the hotel was very clean The WiFi was extremely slow
The staff was very friendly and always helpful. The location is close to two metro stations and an easy walk from the Opera district center. Staff would assist with directions, I would rec. staff create direction sheets for common destinations for effic The rooms are small but that is most likely typical for Paris.
Clean room, good staff Some unfortunate position
The hotel was very clean and had nice decor theme.

Everything! The Arvor is an exceptional hotel. My husband and I felt like welcome guests in someone's home. The staff and owners are lovely and helpful folks. The hotel is quiet, friendly, immaculate, and close to everything. I would return in a heartbeat!
Friendly staff, English speaking, near to Metro, clean room with basic facilities Room very basic, a few hooks for a coat would make things a bit more convenient. Breakfast good but limited (breadbuns, coffee, butter, one choice marmelade)
The hotel is being renovated. We had an old fashioned room but the style the hotel is moving towards is fun, bright and quirky. If you have a remodeled room, they will be good. The central staircase is very lovely. The hotel is very near the St Georges Metro line but you have to take a stop to another line to go anywhere. However, the metro is easy so this is not too much of a problem. We did not like walking through the nearby neighbourhoods though but the metro is very near.
Quiet and clean with a modest decoration. It is a big advantage that it is very close to metro station.
Close to the Opera and shopping area The room was not very clean
clean and friendly atmosphere of a boutique hotel
very good location; room was fresh & clean; staff were very friendly & extremely helpful small points - tea/coffee making facilities would have been nice; need hooks/shelves in bathroom for hanging clothes
clean pricey for the type off room
Although the rooms were not too spacious, I enjoyed the modern new furniture in the room and the big bathroom. The room was cleaned and our bed made on daily basis. The heating was very good too. The staff was helpful and spoke English was really helps when visiting Paris for the first time.
hotel was clean nicely decorated staff helpful good location
The hotel is in a quite convenient location very very close to Metro station. The hotel's internal decorations are quite unique. The hotel needs to be more professionally managed. We had only two glasses for two guests (both for drinking and for tooth brushing). There is no service for adaptor borrowing and luggage concierge, which should be in place for a 4-star hotel. Electrics and power sockets in room could be better maintained as a lamp doesn't work and the power socket by bedside leaked electricity. In addition, the room was quite small and the hotel doesn't have a channel for feedback/complaints to management.
the furnishings and decour noise from the outside, rooms are fully sound proof
The decoration, the bathroom, friendly staff Location near a discotheque, very noisy
The whimsical approach by the hotel to give each room a name such as that of a celebrity or entertainer. The location. The hotel was located in the middle of Paris' red-light district. There were numerous sex shops within a few steps of the hotel door. This location is absolutely unsuitable for children.
central location front door is closed all the time, even during the day - for that same reason, you can hardly recognize it as the place where you need to be, if there is no one to open the door - a clear sign with name of hotel should be placed above the door, as both me and the taxi driver could not recognize it as the hotel/place to be and arriving and finding the door closed with no one to open it for a few minutes, is scary when you see your taxi dissapear in the night
Excellent old fashioned decoration. Names for each room Poor breakfast, little space in rooms.
Location Location Location. We stayed in the Louis Vuitton room and the view of the street and fountain was beautiful but more incredibly was the view of the Sacre Coeur Basillica. WoW! Access to the Metro could not have been easier it was just across the street. A Sushi Bar just up the street from the hotel toward the Moulin Rouge was delicious. Very satisfied with our stay in Paris. C'est Magnifique! Simple basic breakfast was incredibly expensive for what was offered. Did not eat at the hotel once but instead went downstairs to Omnibus Brasserie for the best and very inexpensive HUGE breakfast! The croissants were melt in your mouth wonderful.
The rooms - not numbered but named after famous French people - are like fin-de-siecle brothel rooms. You can imagine Toulouse Lautrec, Oscar Wilde and Dalida in there. Or Ewan and Nicole.... The price is a bit hefty....
location --- proximity to Metro Room a little crowded, but probably typical of European standard
great deco, buzzy, interesting area, great views no
Great staff always offering help with a smile. Cosy and warm and very quiet hotel. Far from metro stations. Small but neat rooms.
The location - very convenient for Gare du Nord, but not on a noisy street and nice mix of local shops and restaurants. Awful leak in the basin in the bathroom, lack of literature about the hotel facilities in the room, inability of hotel to provide extra pillows.
Location. Bathroom facilities
individual & typically Parisian decorations of rooms, bathroom facilities, location of the hotel
lofty room by Paris standards, room equipment in good state the room was too hot and there was no way to switch off the heating
This is a charming little hotel, with lots of character. Each room is different and our room was very tastefully presented. The lovely madamoiselle spoke perfect English and was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Reasonably close to the Gare du Nord Limited restaurant and bar
The staff at all times were excellant , welcoming and helping with directions . The rooms were artisticly decorated although rather small. 3 metro station around the hotel but al least 10-15 minutes walk which is not convenient.
It was positive suprise how good English stuff of hotel spoken.
The lady at the reception was very nice and helpful. There was enough space in the room and nice. The water damage on the wall of room n° 44. 160€ is a bit to expensive I think.
Very close to metro lines -- poisonnaire station is about 3 minutes away. No stand up shower. Room was very compact, hardly any space apart from bed.
This was an incredibly well designed hotel, with all the charms of a french b&b but with the efficiency and attention of a boutique hotel.
Room situated on the 4th floor with a fantastic view of paris Lots of cafes & restaurants Nearby metro links Building work in the street below which wasnt really the hotels fault but very annoying at 7am
The view was excellent as well as location The room was cold and the breakfast very unappetising so we ate somewherelse.
In a fabulous loction, hustle and bustle of the area we enjoyed very much. Would stay again without a doubt. The maid service on the last two days was very late in the day 4pm-5pm. We declined as we were tired. A kettle would be a good idea ? Take a travel one if you can, wish we had.
Great location, would stay here again!
We've stayed there 5 times now. Despite booking 3 months ago and arriving at 10.30pm, the four of us got 'bumped' on our first night to the seedy noisier downmarket sister hotel on the Blvd Clichy. We complained bitterly on our return and got upgraded to the rooms with views on the 5th floor. a pretty poor show though from Timhotel. beware.
The location, staff friendly, though they did not have a painkiller for headache. No guidance on medical issues
The woman at the desk was kind and helpful, she spoke italian also. There was always someone at the desk, day and night. The location is very nice and quiet. Rooms are clean and have a good smell, the standard is very good for the price we paid. The last day the elevator was broken, that is really the only negative thing. Maybe I would not recommend it to old people, there is a steep road to walk from Abesses to the hotel.
Location is gorgeous!!! Fabulous view on Montmartre and on whole Paris
The location is simply wonderful and the staff were really helpful. The bedrooms are rather basic and old fashioned, and the beds horrendously hard!
