The only thing was the drivers side floor mat was missing when I picked it up so I hope they don’t charge me for it when I get my bill

Cons:

First issued car smelled highly of cigarettes. Switched it out and the second car did too. The license plate and registration expired during my trip. Also, Enterprise charged me an additional day rate for the rental which I will need to call to get corrected.

The pickup location had closed down and no one informed me. I went to the alternate location which was posted on a sign on their closed door. That location said my booking was with a third hire location. When I eventually received a vehicle it was used previously by a heavy smoker. The residual of our was so strong it infiltrated by clothes. I am not a smoker. Overall a very poor experience

Decent weekly rate.

Cons:

I asked the staff if I didn't need the car I rented for a whole week would I be able to be refunded any money. After that staff turned rude to me & was not helpful at all.

Cons:

I booked a car rental at a different location for 1pm on Saturday. The location closed at 1pm. I was told they could transfer it to the airport for double the cost that I booked it for. I called to customer service I was told that in terms and conditions it states that I have to be at the location 30 minutes prior to my appointment. Very disappointed.

Cons:

Reserved a small sedan. Showed up and only a minivan was there. Agent told me I'd pay sedan price. Dropped off van and final charge was almost $80 more. They told me at drop off site I had to call the office I got car from. 8 calls later, no answer at various times of day. Won't be using Kayak again.

I made a reservation to rent a car 2 days prior to arrival. I fly from Orlando to Houston, and take a 50 minute Uber ride to the Hertz location of my reservation. I am informed that they have no vehicles for me after already having paid for 72% of the rental. No other help was given while struggle to find another location with a vehicle. An employee had called me while I was on the plane and left a voicemail, so I was unaware of that there were no vehicles ahead of time. I was there an hour before I saw another vehicle show up and being cleaned. While no one spoke to me to offer any assistance, I asked someone if I could just use the vehicle that was being cleaned. They said they were in a good mood, so he would rent me the vehicle if I agreed to pay the upcharge (because I had reserved a compact car and this was a SUV). At that point, I should have had it for free. I was nearly stranded in south Houston, and overcharged because the original money I paid has not been refunded. The SUV also smelled like marijuana. The entire experience was a certifiable train wreck.
