The staff was really nice. Barry was very informative and made sure all my questions were answered.
No good
Slow service and a scam. First of all, to get here you have to take the usual airport shuttle to the rental car shuttle, then walk through there, and wait outside for another shuttle. I landed at 11pm and did not leave the center until after 1:00 a.m. and there were only three sets of people in front. The front desk woman was RIDICULOUSLY slow. She is struggling to enter the information even though she's been using the same system all day. Then they have a policy they never stated in the reservation, if you take their insurance it's only a $250 deposit, however if you want to use your insurance it has a certain limit, the deposit is TWO THOUSAND dollars yes $2,000.00 and they don't take Amex. Never again.

When I booked this rental, the description showed the rental center was off-site as were all the other major rentals, Avis, Budget, Dollar, etc. What WASN’T revealed until our plane landed was that a 2nd shuttle from the rental center was required. That shuttle dropped us at an office located through a garage into a grimy building with all vacant offices except the U-Save rental office. After completing the paperwork (which included a statement that there would be no price adjustments if the vehicle was returned early- which we did after experiencing the multi- shuttle issue), we had to walk down a hill to a parking garage to get the car. The vehicle itself, a Toyota Corolla, (these are now “standard”, not “compact”) was a brand new hybrid and worked well except for the 1 trip we took with all 5 of our party - a bit cramped. When we decided to return the car early to avoid the dual shuttle situation on our departure day, we were directed to wait in the dark, grimy garage for the shuttle to return. 5 other folks arrived with their luggage also. After waiting around 10 minutes, we decided to Uber back to the hotel. We trudged the 1/2 block up the hill from the garage (we’re 72 and 83 years old) , where the shuttle would have been also, and got an Uber with no problem. The Uber pulled up at the same time as the shuttle - which was a 7 passenger mini-van - it would’ve been a tight squeeze. Bottom line - decent car but not worth the aggravation. Spend a few more dollars for a name brand company. I wish we had.
Horrible customer service when picking up
Car was ok, shuttle took a long time to arrive, other off-site shuttles came by twice during my wait. Biggest issue is the misrepresentation of insurance. On Kayak I opted for additional insurance. When I get to U-Save they say that is only collision and they REQUIRE their liability which costs more than the vehicle. Only accept my insurance if it is one of their 10 approved insurers which of course mine- Country insurance is NOT on their list. None of this info on Kayaks site. At this point I am off site and in a hurry to get to my hotel, Feel very decieved. Never again
It a scammer outfit masquerading as car rental company. BEWARE !
First: this company’s shuttle took the longest of any other rental car company to arrive at the airport for pickup (the other’s had representatives on site) and this was only after I had an attendant help me with their contact info Second: the vehicle we were given was far from new, and had some significant wear and tear - it was also a manual, which is not what we ordered (which was no issue for me, but I ended up being the only one in my party to drive it during our trip) Third: I had to pay DOUBLE what I expected to pay after I was prompted to pre-pay online (seemingly for the entirety of the vehicle, which is what their online posting showed) Brutal. Do not recommend.
