Paris Hotels in Opéra - Haussmann

I had an excellent stay and this is due to two people that made this happen. They went above and beyond my expectations and should be rewarded for all their hard work and time they took with me. Thank you guys. You rock

No. Hotel employees made my stay an incredible one and should be recognized for that. As a result I am staying at this hotel once again on the 23 to the 24th and I cannot wait to get back.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean. Excellent location; close to cafes, bars, clothes shops, Food markets. Not a busy tourist area. Close to metro. Easy walk to Notre Dame . Free wifi Internet access.

Late check in although staff made best effort to enable earlier check in. No fridge in room.

Free parking outside the hotel on a side street, good size suite for a family of five

Tiny lift, just able to get a buggy and adult inside. Sofa bed extremely noisy/squeaky and uncomfortable and disturbed sleeping children.

The location was the best thing

It was a very small room, it got very hot at night and the fan barely cooled the room. It was very noisy in the alley when we tried to open the window. Small bathroom and shower. Spotty internet service

Staff was very helpful and the room was very clean.

The service from one of the male receptionist who went out of his way to provide good information for us. Don't know his name but he was on the day shift & well turned out.

Lack of information re. hot drinks. Concern about escape in event of a fire.

No left to 6th floor, having to carry your own luggage to the top is awful.

Although being a small room but it was comfortable and clean and the staff were friendly

I have mentioned in my booking that i would arrive before 12 so i would like my room to be available by that time. But what actually happened, i had a delay in my flight and i arrived after 12 and still my room was not ready and they told me to come back in an hour although it is mentioned on their website that check-in time is 12:00!!!

The best thing about stay at the mercure was the location. It was close to everything!

Perfect location, close to Monmartre Boulevard, right next to Grands Boulevards metro station. Ideal for a week-end in Paris. Friendly staff, generous breakfast and a usefull lunchbox.

The Staff were very helpful and the location is great. The breakfast was good and the lunch box was very good.

The fact that they don't accept AMEX. No kettle in the room.

The hotel is under refurbishment, so the lobby still needs some work done however rooms are very, very nice and stylish. Staff is very kind and location is good.

Hotel only accepts Visa payment and not AMEX. For business trips AMEX is crucial payment option.

There are lots of restaurants and shops atound and within 15min you will be able to reach by foot. I accidently left my wallet in my room but it was totally safe.

The room was small even for 2 asian women.

Rooms are small (well, this is Paris) and walls are too thin: you hear neighbors.

All the furnitures were old, refrigerator was broken. Lightning in the room was dark.

Air conditioning in room was erratic. Breakfast too expensive. Lift only big enough for 2 people!

Offensive and agressive staff

Hotel appeared very clean. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The location is in small side street and there was little noise from outside.

Disappointed that there was no sitting or bar area where I could meet colleagues. Room seemed very clean but I was bitten during the night!

Rooms old and dated

Perfect location right at galeries lafayette and metro. Location could not be better for those who want to enjoy shopping and get to tour around paris with metro or by foot. Also restaurants are real close by.

It is ok to pay up to 250eur - 300eur for night but not more because it is not worth to pay more. Didn't really feel the benefits of club room,-small room, only 2 nights turn down service was provided. Windows and balcony not clean. Poor internet connection,-wifi signal eather low or not at all.

It was clean - close to gare de nord and in a central position for what we wanted to do.

The small slow lift was a bit of a turnoff - it needed a bit of upgrading - taps toilet etc.

it was very very old furnuture and very old hotel , its not booking.com styl , sory for my words but realy l was unhappy with that hotel! you have to take out this hotel from your list!
