Near everything we wanted to see. Friendly staff. Nice spacious room. Poor breakfast options. Wifi wasn't very stable.
Number 1, the location! Close to so much, and close to transportation to see more. Very up to date rooms, lobby and restaurant. Staff was always professional, but friendly and helpful. It would have been nice to have had a shuttle to get to airport.
Hotel has neat and clean rooms with a modern feel, and great location. The room price should include breakfast. It is a bit of a downer and the room price feels a bit more without this basic offering.
How close to Seattle attractions The old elevators
The breakfast was very good but not included in your hotel room. We bought breakfast every morning at the restaurant but it was very good. The chef would switch it up every day and the restaurant was very clean. They bathrooms were run down from being old. The water in the shower would back up into the tub every time we took a shower. The staff was very nice and the room was very clean. The bathroom plumbing would be the only con.
this place is badly over priced
The location. Prime downtown near good restaurants, within walking distance. This place is old and super dated. I laughed when we walked in. I pulled my phone out, to look at the photos if the hotel from the website and, well they're technically accurate. This place is in desperate need of a refresh or remodel. This is a pretty expensive area to stay, around $350. But for not much more, I could've gotten a much nicer experience at one of the other nearby hotels. Or even an Airbnb. But definitely not here.
Was clean, comfy and the proximity to Seattle's iconic Space Needle was very convenient (walking distance). EMP museum and more are right there too. Breakfast at in-hotel restaurant was a great value.
The location is perfect for our stay! The room was clean and it has a nice view of the space needle..
Location, location, location
Not friendly at the frond desk. An expected parking fee. Not changing used bed sheets
Very convenient to airport. Shower would fluctuate temperature dramatically. Very loud between rooms. No breakfast.
Close the to airport and the cost. The thermostat was not working and even thought the temperature was set at 65 degrees, it had to be 90 in the room. This kept us up all night trying to get it right. We finally turned it off and opened the window, and just dealt with the traffic noise.
Friendly staff. Clean room. Easy access to airport and light rail to Seattle downtown. Good place to eat next door. Room too hot. Thermostat does not work. Hotel staff asked us to turn off air in the room. Hotel gave a fan but was too loud. If we turned it off it got stuffy. Room window does not stay open either.
The beds were very comfortable. It smelt like smoke in our non-smoking room and the lady at the front desk was very rude.
The room was large, comfortable, and clean. We selected this hotel because of our positive experience with Red Lion Hotels elsewhere and because of the airport shuttle. We weren't disappointed. We would have appreciated it if the room included a complementary breakfast, but not a deal breaker.
Very close to SeaTac and shuttle was quick. Computer in lobby to print boarding passes was terrible. I realize many people use smart phones but I still like to have the paper in my hand. It took a lot of messing around to get boarding passes printed.
The bar and grill next door was great, and the car service was also nice. No room service menu only take out from next door.
Front desk was pleasant and very nice Walls were very thin, we could hear noises in hall and even ABOVE US!!!! it was annoying. Shuttle service was slow and driver was busy talking to friend while we waited to make it to airport to catch important flights! I had to interrupt his conversation which made me uncomfortable.
Rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed. Staff was friendly. Love that they have a fridge and microwave in the room. Can't beat the location, less than five minutes from the airport with a free shuttle, but no airport noise made it into the room. I highly recommend. Nothing!
Directly across from seatac airport!
good natured & accommodating staff
This hotel was different in that it is not part of a chain and had its own personality. We found it charming and accessible to all we needed. A fair walk to the city but we enjoy walking. Great food over the road Maybe the lack of a lift
Good clean room and good service & support from staff.
Nestled between Toulouse Petite and Cafe Ladro - how can you beat that?!??
The hotel is adorable. The room accommodations were comfortable & spacious. This would be the ideal spot for a family vacation, due to the kitchenette or someone w/an extended stay in the downtown Seattle area. The neighborhood is quaint & very safe. There are a multitude of local ethnic restaurants surrounding the hotel; all within walking distance. Around the corner is a drug store & wonderful upscale grocery store (spirits avail), which is perfect if you want to take a night off, stay in & prepare food in your room. The hotel has a lovely Victorian feel & the initial staff who greeted us were wonderful. It is also within walking distance to the Space Center [Needle] & if you're lucky enough to get a room with a view... it's spectacular! The beautifully restored brick building's interior decor is dated & lacks adequate lighting, creating a dark feel in the lobby, hallways & rooms. There is no elevator, but the physically-fit bellman do a bang-up job. If you have trouble w/stairs, call ahead for a 1st-fl-rm. And even though the rooms are incredibly spacious, they lack warmth & coziness. A low dresser/desk like piece of furniture would be a nice addition as a central depository for jewelry, glasses, wallets/purses, water bottles, phones, laptops, cameras, chargers, papers, just to list a few travel items. Unfortunately, the nightstand wasn't enough and these objects ended up in various places all over the (1-BR-apt) room, raising concern of losing or leaving something behind.
I really loved this hotel. I really enjoyed the 1920s feel throughout the hotel and the rooms. The kitchenette was a nice addition. We never ended up using the table for much beyond an extra place to set things and charge electronics, but having plates and utensils ready to use was very convenient. The bed was extremely comfortable, as were the pillows. The room was exceptionally clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Continental breakfast was light and delicious. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and answered all of our questions. We were a bit disappointed that the windows didn't open. Having to run the air conditioning all the time made the air very dry. We also struggled a bit with the wi-fi. The signal was not particularly strong, which was frustrating, but not the end of the world.
Lovely decor and central to city. Elegant. Comp breakfast a plus No curtains in room? bit noisy too as on road side so needed ear plugs
Great ambiance at this historic Seattle hotel. Great location for any events at the Seattle Center. Easy access to Queen Anne, waterfront, and downtown areas, as well. Kitchenette was stocked and very convenient! No elevator, but staff will carry your bags. The room needed a desk for working & computer.
Loved the ice water, decor, and authenticity Breakfast
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rom was huge, with separate sitting and kitchen/dining areas. The location was ideal for me, within easy reach of the city centre but away from the hurly-burly of the business district. Plenty of facilities nearby, and within an easy walk of the space needle and all the other attractions on the site. A bus route connects to the city centre. There were only net curtains in the bedroom, so that it was not dark at night and I was forced to wear an eye mask to screen out the light. The breakfast facilities were meagre.
Our room had a small but fully equipped kitchen. Also very quiet and comfortable and robes which always make me feel fancy Rooms have old school charm that can be a little worn looking and Continental breakfast is small, but this is what a Continental breakfast is...and many places don't even serve one now
The hotel has lots of charm and the rooms are very spacious. Also the staff were very friendly. The complimentary wine evenings are great and the adjoing Cafe Lladro serves great coffees and cakes. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel.
It is a very charming hotel yet in my opinion it could use some remodelling because it is a bit outdated. The service I received from the staff was good. Yes I would stay there again probably because of the location.
We wanted a Seattle Hotel, centrally located, for one night so we could see Billy Joel in SEA. What we stumbled on a delightful boutique hotel above the famous El Gaucho Restaurant. Only 17 rooms with a delightfully helpful Manager and staff, "The Inn" was a joy. Whether it was places to eat ("The Inn" has no food services itself), directions to get to Pike Place Market (a couple of blocks down the street), or their 5 o'clock complimentary wine bar, "The Inn" was excellent value for money. If you stay there be sure to go to CJ's Eatery for breakfast. As welcoming as the staff make "The Inn" its a walkup with suitcases from the ground floor. That walk-up can be a bit daunting the 4th or 5th time you do it during the day. Also the rooms are clean, comfortable, but a bit tired.
Friendly and helpful staff. And you cannot get better dining in Seattle.
The room was great for a longer stay when you didn't want to go every night after long tourist days There was no shower gel/wash in the room
Very comfortable rooms/beds, very clean, family-friendly, good location
Large room, Breakfast, easy parking.
Everything was exellent. But I didn't know that hotel adds miles. The next day after departure I was told about in the hotel were I stayed - Hilton Vancuver Washington. I called your hotel but was told that it is too late to do that. It spoiled a little my impression about your hospitality.
large rooms, sleeps multiple people, kitchen Had to make up own couch bed, not enough linens, no hot tub or pool.
it is very nice hotel Everythis is ok
Quiet, clean and comfortable.
Change the breakfast menu up day to day. Stayed 7 days ate the same thing everyday Need recycling trash cans
The web page showed a indoor swimming pool, we picked this hotel because the pool looked nice. A very disappointed 5 year old, try to explain to a 5 year old that we are not going swimming. I feel this is false advertisement, I would of never paid what we paid to stay at this hotel without it having a swimming pool.
I was unable to go to the Silver Cloud on my initial date, but they were super accommodating by letting me switch days for no charge.
Room, pool, exercise center Tiny toilet, too pricey
The personnel was so accommodating, and the hotel was very peaceful. We had been taken by mistake to Doubletree Sea-Tac, and the difference in peacefulness was marked.
Kids were disappointed pool was being renovated and we we're put on a floor with a bunch of renovating as well, but after we were moved to another room and floor stay was fine.
We got off a cruise that morning and wound up coming in *way* early, but were take care of immediately. The suite was two rooms plus bath, and was clean and comfortable. There was a tv in each room, so we didn't disturb each other. Breakfast options were numerous and fresh - very good! The shuttle to the airport was large, clean and fast. Thank You! We will use this hotel again. The atrium is a large open well like an Embassy Suites, and got a bit noisy during happy hour which could be heard in the first suite room as a dull roar, but the bedroom was very quiet despite this.
The shuttle to the airport and the free parking. Room was large. Staff didn't seem very organized.
the suite was quite spacious
Very clean, very new, breakfast was nice, held my bags for me. Service was very pleasant Not in their control at the moment; a club nearby was pumping bass until 3am. Nearby construction makes it slightly harder to navigate.
PROS: - The staff were helpful for providing directions to getting to parking and room. - Location was convenient for our activities (near Westlake Center). - Bar was good and convenient with good happy hour. - Inviting lobby to hang out in with couches, chairs, tables, and fire place. - Modern finishes in the hotel. - Did not visit pool/exercise room so no comment. - Impressed overall with hotel. - Bottom Line: We would stay here again CONS: - The room we had looked right out to another building (not a huge deal though). - No other cons that I can think of.
Great staff, big room, fantastic location, new everything, slept like a baby. Treated extremely well. Highly recommended!
The mansion it's self, so historic and well kept. The furnishing were charming and it was kept meticulously. The pocket door in the bathroom was hard to use if you pushed it all the way in.
I was in the Carriage Loft Room. The room was decorated nicely and was fairly spacious. The air conditioning worked well on a hot summer day. The interior common spaces were lovely, as was the courtyard. Carriage Loft RoomThe bed was horrible! Rock hard mattress and flat, hard pillows. Didn't sleep a bit. The compressor in the mini fridge made a high pitched squeal while running. Walk-in shower was uncomfortably small (I'm 5'9'/150).

It had wonderful charm and was a perfect location for us. The operator was extremely kind in arranging for us to have an early breakfast, as we had an appointment before the regular breakfast time. We had a 3rd floor room and there is no elevator, but we knew that in advance. However, the dormer room we were in had very low ceiling corners on which we banged our heads occasionally. Not great! Also the TV was maybe only 19', far too small to watch.
Great location in the Fremont area. Amazing rooftop deck. Perfectly sized room with 1 queen bed, couch, desk, & fully equipped kitchenette. Very quiet. Fast wifi. OK free breakfast each day and evening appetizers/dinner (M-Th). Very expensive. I mean it's a nice, new place and well-located, but between parking expense and the hotel cost, a 3-night stay was $$$$.
The staff was quite accommodating, and gave me a generous late checkout when I requested one (even though I never needed to use it!) Upon my arrival, I requested a hotel shuttle, was told that one was on its way, and then had to wait for 35 minutes, even though the hotel is only a 5 minute drive away. The cleaners were not very thorough about resetting the room--my bathroom did not have a shower curtain anywhere in sight, and the refrigerator in the room had old Chinese take-away in it.
Airport shuttle. Staff friendly. Fridge in room. Traffic noise. Noisy heater/ac. Headboard was falling apart. Room over sprayed with air fresheners that I go a headache.
The suites had a two burner stove, microwave, refrigerator, all ready for extended stay. Great shuttle service to dining areas and the airport. Very friendly staff; helpful with dinner suggestions. Breakfast available; good coffee. The fold out bed was only a full size, so don't depend on it being a queen.
Had a nice desk and pillows the The mattress was horrible
This is a bed and breakfast in a large older house in a leafy suburb of Seattle. This is a well maintained classic old house full of original art and a very nice collection of antique furniture. The owner is a former Russian journalist who spends a lot of her time writing in her study/library. Think of it like staying overnight at the grand house of some educated bohemian friends. The neighborhood is very quiet, the house is next to an Olmstead park. You'll feel pretty far from downtown - but its just a short taxi ride from downtown - 15 minutes and $10-15. I stayed in the the largest room - the house's former master bedroom. It has a short entry hall, to a large bedroom, with a king size bed, and a walk-in closet. It has a huge bathroom, and then a pair of french doors lead out to a huge second floor balcony with a small table and chairs overlooking the street. I liked all of it. But some people may be put off by the relative informality of the place Not like a regular hotel at all - there is no front desk. You can easily end up in long conversations with the owner on politics, art and culture.
I had an unforgettable time at Mozart Guest House! Everything about this experience was incredible - you have never seen such variety at the breakfast table - Tina is the masterchef and can prepare anything your heart desires - the presentation as well is so beautiful you feel as if you are royalty. I did not want to leave because it felt like I was leaving behind my close friends. The location is fantastic - right on the corner of an old Seattle park - with special atmosphere...the victorian house is so homey and welcoming - Tina I'm coming back - and I would recommend that everyone visits Mozart Guest House! Thank you so much.
Very nice hosts! Very personable. Would highly recommend. I'm staying again. None
Valentina was very warm and welcoming, serving us excellent food and providing good company. The house is a treasure and the restorations have made it clean and comfortable.
what I liked most was the friendliness of the owner. She is very attentive to the client's needs. also the breakfast is great. she cooks breakfast for you the way you want it and her croissants are always fresh. you can catch the bus right in front of the guest house and it's only a 10-15 mn ride to the convention center. if you want to take a taxi, it's about $8.75 dollars to the convention center. I cannot really say I disliked anything except that it was not waht I had expected initially but at the end I'm glad I stayed there.
I found the rooms too small for an extended stay. I was looking for a suite and there was barely room for a chair and our 2 suitcases.
The room fridge was good. Noisy rooms due to motel-style hotel (every room had a door to outside) room had a very strong perfume-smell like febreeze; poor quality breakfast (salty scrambled eggs, cold pancakes, paper plates/cutlery) , small room, tub would not hold water, shower spray poor, bathroom soap/ shampoo too little, worst of all Non-existing WiFi ! Do not stay here...stay anywhere else.
They provided excellent service
Front desk taff were great! Friendly and helpful! The best part of my stay. Housekeeping came by twice before check out time.
Great place if you are at medical clinics
Service was excellent - good Restaurant next to hotel. Rooms are noisy and dated - renovation needed badly - too expensive for location and the standard
Staff, location, Saffron restaurant traffic noise, odd number rooms face the road and have more traffic noise, suggest requesting a room with even number. Internet was sometimes difficult to connect to
The theme and "look" of the hotel was fun, the staff was helpful, the room was comfortable. The shower curtain rod was a little loose and the shower kept sliding to the center of the shower. Pretty minor complai t overall.
The rooms are small. Housekeeping missed a day when we were not up at 830.
i flew in from the east coast to visit family Hotel Nexus was very accommodating with checkout due to unusual departure time flying east. I've staye here before and plan to stay again next visit. It was only 10 minutes from my destination, couldn't ask for better. The only complain which is trivial is the breakfast menus. I understand its hard to please everyone but the hours were great.
Enjoyed our stay at Nexus Hotel. Joey helped us and was pleasant and professional. There was a problem with our reservation and Joey figured out the issue and got us to our rooms asap. The breakfast was enjoyable. Thank you, look forward to coming back.
Bed very comfortable and appreciated shuttle
