When I got my carry on to the greeting flight attendant I explained I had just finished a shoot and I was sorry that I needed to keep the bag as carry on. Flight Attendant: there was nothing she could do and I needed to go back down the stairs, even though people were still boarding and leave it with the baggage people. Me: "In the past the flight attendant put the bag in that closet." (I pointed to the locked closet where they keep their bags.) Flight Attendant: I cant open it because it's locked. Me: "The key is kept there." (I pointed to where the key is kept. I know because I've done this trip so many times before.) Flight Attendant: "See if it will fit under your seat." It did... but I had my knees in my chin for the entire flight. Thanks, Ann"

When my family and I boarded, the row I chose did not have a window which was a drag because I wanted my 11 year old daughter to have a view of the mountains in flight. Not a huge deal but maybe Alaska's online seat reservation system could identify which rows do not have windows, like emergency rows are not identified. Again, not a big deal... The overall experience was very good."

Then the seat they gave me was already booked to someone else, so i had to wait again on the plane to get a seat. on my outgoing flight to seattle a few days prior, i intentionally didn't check a bag because i had a late arrival and early work the next day, was forced to check it on the plane and then they lost it for an hour after i landed so i didn't get home until 2am. frustrating, but again the crew was nice about the mistakes."

Pros: "The flight from Dallas was on Wednesday the 8th of August. It was scheduled for a 32 minute layover, which turned into a 30 minute layover. My son, who I booked the ticket for, ran all the way to the connecting flight's gate. They'd already closed the doors, and wouldn't let him on. Consequently he had to be re-booked onto the next flight, which didn't leave until 2200."
Cons: "Did I mention that he'd taken a Greyhound bus to Dallas from Memphis on Monday the 6th of August? He got to DFW airport on plenty of time for his flight to Scotland. It should have been DFW to JFK to Glasgow. Delta cancelled his flight. Citing "weather issues." My family researched this, and couldn't find any weather issues in the North East or NY area."

Cons: "When I bought my ticket last Nov , I paid extra to select seats, only to discover no aisle seats available for the 15 hour flight from LAX to Guanghzou. I tried many times to call CSA LA office using toll free and regular number, but could never speak to a human. Last November 7 I missed my flight home due to the Thai King's motorcade causing the road I was on to be closed for more one hour. I arrived at the CNXairport nearly one hour before the scheduled departure time, only to find CSA check in counters already closed. CSA Bangkok made me pay for a one way ticket home on Nov 8 even though all 3 flights were not full. I arrived well I'm advance and checked in. CSA began boarding 30 minutes before the time shown on my boarding pass and closed the aircraft doors shortly aftethe boarding time listed. No wonder I missed my Nov 7 flight! I wrote CSA LA a letter including the receipt for the one way ticket and requested a refund or at least a reply or home call. I never received a reply. I have flown CSA/Delta from Detroit, MI to Chiang Mai, Thailand 5 or 6 times in the last 3 years. It seems they don't care about customer loyalty. In the future CSA will not be my first choice and I will pay somewhat more to fly another airline."

Gate staff unaware of new terminal 3 to TBIT airside shuttle nearly directed us to leave domestic and requeue for international security. Will like skip Delta connectors to long haul international flights and just fly direct from SFO."

Pros: "I had a great seat (exit row) with lots of legroom. They provided a free breakfast, and it was actually pretty good. A few hours later i was hungry and tried to buy some food but the cabin crew just gave my another breakfast item. The flight arrived on time, and the luggage was delivered a few minutes after I arrived at the baggage area."

It was very difficult for the person next to the window to get out to the aisle, even when the person in the aisle seat was not sitting there. The biz class cabin was shared with economy comfort. The crew gave no explanation for the switch in aircraft, and no apology either."

First landing attempt had to be aborted, the landing not being cleared by the control tower. Then we cruised, circling over the Ocean, and the lights of the city again. Finally we landed. Taxiing on the tarmac was interrupted many times, and took overall 30 minutes. The pilot kept informing us. I was probably not the only passenger that had and urgent need to reach a bathroom... Of course, Delta should not be blamed"

I didn't like having to pay $2400 for a ticket when you dropped the price after the Paris incident & I found the same ticket would have cost me only $869. I should be reimbursed the difference. I also don't understand why we had to wait till 10:15 to sit inside the gate area. Directions for boarding should have been clearer."

Also, there was no distancing IN the airport during boarding. It's NOT DIFFICULT to put tape marks on the ground to ensure physical distancing. It is THEIR responsibility to make sure the process is safe, since half of the people seem to not care about distancing (or mask wearing). I'm incredibly disappointed and I will be flying Southwest for the time being: I hear they're better at enforcing distancing."

Cons: "I was astounded at the miserable "cattle car" experience of this flight. When the person in front of me reclined his seat, the back was shoved to within about a foot of my face. Talk about "In Your Face!" It was nearly impossible to exit from my window seat to the aisle, since there is almost no vertical space open from floor to ceiling in which to move. Flying used to be fun--this is awful!"

They proactively checked my carry-on and the flight had all the individual entertainment amenities we were hoping for. The crew was friendly and attentive."

Had to call corp - then finally a boarding pass with 25 min to get though TSA and to the gate. #stressfull"

Asked the flight attendants and spoke to the captain after the flight as the front coach section of the aircraft was at least 10 degrees hotter than the rear. We were all taking layer of off cloths as it was so hot. Seems the first class attendants were not monitoring the temps which regulars the temps just behind first class. Told the flight attendant who also acknowledged it but the first class attendants did not make the change Many were angry. We were on the Tarmac for almost 1.5 hours waiting for the plane to be de-iced. No AC during the process."

Cons: "boarded us then deboarded bc pilots were "at their hours" (why did you make us board if you knew they were close to their hours). handed out 1-800 number cards to rebook. Had to sleep in the Chicago airport on the floor. American Airlines did not offer hotel, no food vouchers, not even a blanket... very disappointed with how they treated everyone. I couldn't even buy a blanket bc all of the stores were closed. I understand that flights get delayed and things happen.. but at least give me a pillow and blanket to sleep in an airport when you force me to stay in an airport for 12+ hours."

Cons: "After purchasing ticket, i couldn't reserve free seat. On line and mobile ap both tried to upcharge for reserving a seat. The day before flight, i called and rhe agent reserved a seat which was stuck in upright position; it was in row in front of exit row. That leaves the feeling if being cheated and lied to."

I was told there were no other flights to LA and I would have to get a hotel until tomorrow. I was only going to be in California for 2 days so every second counts, so when I became upset the man checked again and found me a seat on a plane that took off in an hour. I was grateful but at the same time I was kind of displeased that he didn't offer that to me originally."

Our only option was to watch the end, and then watch the beginning after. If I'm paying extra, I would expect the type of system where I can select my movie and watch it from the beginning. On top of that, once we did start watching, the headphones were terrible quality. We had to turn the volume all the way up, and still couldn't hear over the static. Disappointing."

Then the in flight entertainment of course you had to pay for and if you didn't you might be able to watch a little bit of a TV show but the screen was mostly blocked out by their advertisement to pay to watch."

So, in total - post-purchase, I had to spend another $150, roughly 46% more than the ticket price I booked. I get it...the state of the airlines, paying for baggage is becoming a thing. but this was just another level, without warning. it was a bait and switch. I won't fly Frontier again."

Cons: "As someone who has never flown frontier before, I was unprepared for the MANY hidden fees that came from 1)choosing seats 2) carrying on hardly any baggage. If an airline claims to give cheaper flights, they should either get rid of these fees (since there is no way to actually avoid them), or simply be up front and work them into the price."

Will make sure to tell everyone I know to avoid Frontier as well."

Cons: "they invite you to choose your seat the day before, but if you want to do that, you have to PAY (e.g., $35. for an aisle seat in the front half). Two bags checked cost $65. They charged for roller-board carry-ons ($40.)--i didn't do this, but people had to, and they were pissed. The seats don't recline--and they're like bus seats with a quarter inch of padding on hard plastic. The drop down table is the size of the ipad-mini, making it very difficult to get any work done. They give you the vibe that you shouldn't ask for so much as a cup of water (please have your credit card ready if you'd like a drink)--and NOBODY drank anything. And last BUT NOT LEAST--I had to wait 55 minutes in baggage claim at LAX before my bags came out. I'm a "roll with the punches" traveler, but this was crazy!"
