Pros: The price was good.
Cons: Advantage's business practices not good. The car had several scratches on the outside. The upholstery was stained. There was an unpleasant odor. The windshield washer fluid was low.

Pros: Shuttle to/from LAS was pretty convenient, car was in fine condition, didn't have any issues returning the car
Cons: Front desk tries to up-sell you for anything and everything. Pick-up is quick to have you sign for the keys before inspecting the car.

Pros: pickup and drop off was good. interior was clean.
Cons: Do not like doing the before rental inspection of rental unit for fear of missing something. Vehicle exterior was not totally clean, but was no big deal for me. After driving the toyota sequoia I did not like the soft wandering ride from this vehicle. Very loose feel on the highway. I have chevy trucks and feel the ride is much tighter and safer on the road.

Not a good value for the money
Pros: Lady that checked me in was very nice, courteous, and professional.
Cons: I did a last minute search before picking up my car and I pretty much could have saved $20 per day if I hadn't booked a non refundable rental 2 weeks prior. The desk to pick up the car was in the lowest level. Difficult to get to especially with luggage. Only one person working so waited at least 30 minutes before being helped. Car was not nice at all and I actually didn't see another car in their collection I would have preferred. I've rented from other agencies that at least had nicer options even if I declined because I didn't want to pay more. OVERPRICED!!

Pros: I messed up my reservation date, the attendant was friendly and helpful. All worked out in the end. Shuttle busses to the car rental station were frequent and quick trips.
Cons: One reservation wasn't with advantage but it not being clearly marked where to pick-up the bus back to the airport.

No advantage here
Pros: Not a thing
Cons: Didn't have the type vehicle class I reserved. Rep. didn't care, not one bit. No effort whatsoever to remedy the situation and make me happy. Only wanted to get mote money out of me. I cancelled the reservation and walked out. A 2 week rental lost. They didn't care, not even a little bit.

Cons: attendant was rude and obviously in a hurry to leave her post after i was charged more than what my reservation was for she sent me outside to wait in yet another line with people who hadn't signed an agreement with 2 employees in the booth, one just texting on their phone. I left a voicemail 2x with their customer service number and sent an email no response 4 days later Brian

Pros: Easy to pick up and drop off. Staff really nice and approachable.
Cons: booked hoping to get a Ford Mustang. Although I recognize It was advertised that it would be a Ford Mustang or another convertible we ended up with a mini which was still cool but kind of disappointing. Would have just booked a cheaper car if we had known we couldn't get the Ford Mustang.

Somewhere between okay and good for us
Pros: Woman at Advantage counter was a little terse with me. Not sure why. She seemed a lot friendlier with the foreign couple in front of me. Car pick-up was the usual stony-faced affair by a bored attendant. The Kia Optima had some wear and tear, but was clean enough. No serious issues with the car over the course of a week. Return was easy on a Sunday afternoon. Charges were as originally stated.
Cons: The car had some electrical issues. The map lights would randomly come on and go off (until we switched them to stay off all the time), and the dashboard warning about an open driver's door was nearly constant although the door was closed tightly. The passenger seats were strangely low. My wife and children were sitting on thick towels from the hotel so they could see out the windows. We won't be buying a Kia Optima for our next vehicle.

Got a nice new clean car...but had to wait awhile
Pros: The car I finally got was brand new, kind of scary worrying we would scratch it but it was obviously very very clean and handled the snow we had, it was an all wheel drive vehicle. The drop off was good but be sure you only rent on the "24 hour", they charge for 2 extra hours...and its a lot, a whole extra day! ! But general pricing was ok and they are in the rental car center which has a lot of shuttles to get you to and from the airport quickly.
Cons: They talked me into an upgraded vehicle...then when I went to the garage to get it there wasn't one. Guy was very apologetic and managed to get us a car after 15-20 minutes of waiting. Luckily we were on vacation and not business.

Watch for dents
Pros: Very easy and quick getting the car
Cons: They made me walk around and look at the car.then had to sign a paper stating what damage I saw.the problem was it wasn't very well lit in the garage and there was a very small dent on the fender that I didn't notice until after I left the rental garage and was outside in the sun.when I returned the car I had to argue with the attendant that the dent was there when I picked up the car.he finally agreed the dent was old.didn't like that

Reserved car not ready when promised
Pros: We got a full size car, with a small engine. Was ok and met our needs.
Cons: The car wasn't ready when promised. We had to wait over an hour for the car we reserved. The lady at the front desk was not at all helpful or apologetic. A gentleman (Steve?) took over and was much more helpful - we appreciated his help.

Faced much higher costs than we expected, and bad
Pros: The car was clean
Cons: They didn't recognize our third party insurance, which we didn't find out about until we got to the rental location and had to buy Advantage's overpriced insurance. The car itself was very basic, and had very little power for its size. Their was not a full tank of gas when we started driving, even though we were expected to return it full, and there was no window washing fluid or ice scraper in the car. Finally, Advantage did not inspect the car at all with us, so we weren't able to note these issues, or any possible damage, before we left.

Cons: There is no way to contact them directly to ask a question once I had the car. And do not keep it a extra few hours because they will charge you double what you were quoted. The cheap always comes out expensive

Good customer service
Pros: The employees were friendly and helpful. The pick up and drop off processes were quick and easy. They had a good selection of cars and were very helpful when I requested a different car.
Cons: The first car I was given had 3/4 of a tank of gas (even though the slip said it was a full tank) and one of the tires was nearly flat (the tire light on the dashboard went on). So whoever is in charge of making sure those things are taken care of needs to step it up quite a bit. But the guy at the booth was very helpful and quickly gave me another car. The second car was perfect, no problems at all. Also, the price was a little steep but I expected it since I had made the reservation only a day ahead of time during the busy holiday season. My initial rental car company (Fox) ran out of cars so I switched to Advantage.

In a trip to Las Vegas this past weekend I recevie
Pros: Patrick was prompt, courteous (while under pressure of people in line), and understanding. I was given a car that was not really suitable ( a van) for purpose, however a commitment was made to option for a change out, as more cars became available in the days following. This was a 7day rental, and when I brought the vehicle in Patrick again made a special effort, without a problem to find me a replacement vehicle immediately, and did so with a smile and apology for our inconvenience. This trip concluded on the 13th of Dec.

Cons: They only allowed Vegas residents 150 free miles, I didn't care to pay for extra miles fees, but even when I'd have previously reserved it for one way only. The supervisor didn't rent it. It was frustrated finding all they're stupid policy when I got to their counter

Bait and switch- rude customer service and just a
Pros: The car was a nice car but the seats were stained on the inside and the a/c didn't work.
Cons: Kayak confirmed a $90 rate for advantage so I cancelled my $140 theifty rental and booked through kayak. When we picked up the rental at the Vegas airport the total being charged without insurance or anything extra just "taxes and fees" was $221. Then we asked to have the name on the reservation switched to my dads name since he was going to be the driver. Well they can do that for an additional $50 fee. Um no. So they changed the name supposibly and took my name completely off, except they ONLY changed my first name to my dads first name. Well his ID didn't match my Married last name and my address isn't the same as his. So the people at the key pickup wouldn't give us the keys. we had to wait on a manager to come and approve although he did not want to but I think he got the hint we were just about to leave and say goodbye all together (which we probably should have). I was embarrassed because I was supposed to be paying $90 including taxes and fees per kayak then they completely screwed us at the counter. I should have NEVER cancelled my thrifty rental. I may never believe kayak again either. Just a ridiculous experience all together. Total ended up being $231.86 after a confirmation of $90 including taxes and fees. Bait and switch. Do not book through kayak or advantage.

Pros: The car was clean, in great condition, and served the purpose of getting me around Las Vegas.
Cons: The staff at the front counter alternated between discussing their "clubbing" plans and trying to scare me into expensive rental car insurance and upgrades. The staff overall seemed disinterested and like they had better things to do than their job, although it was a slow morning.

Cons: everything wrong with this rental, 1st there is a long line almost an hour with only 2 counters open. She have a bad attitude no customer service skill. small car, ad said 4 people 2 bag, It can barely fit 1 bag and 3 people slow, no power, terrible Learn my lessen to never take any special deal. Always know what car you get.

Cons: I rented the car for a quick business trip because mine was in the shop. I rented it 2 days before my planned departure. When I arrived to get the car there were at least 50 people standing in line. The scuttlebutt was that they were out of cars and were only giving them out as cars came in. An hour and a half later it was my turn at the desk where I was informed that because I was local I did not get unlimited mileage, even though I was very careful to verify that the car had unlimited mileage with Kayak before I rented it. I insisted on seeing the manager, who was over at EZ car rental. After crowding in the front of the line, (sorry folks but I was angry), I was told to wait for a while and she would get to me. When she finally spoke with me she told me there was nothing she could do. I must have looked really mad because she got on the phone then told me okay, you get the unlimited mileage that you already paid for, but it will be another 40 minutes before it is ready. When they finally called my name I went outside to get my full size car. Instead there was a little Toyota RAV4. There was a couple of Camry's sitting there but they said I could not have one. I got in this little car and the seat wouldn't move back. The attendant tried also, but the seat was stuck all the way forward. They finally told me they had a Camry for me, but it was not one of the cars sitting there. They brought out one that looked fresh off the police auction lot, including a hand painted "Rent" sign in the window. The carpet and seat covers looked like drinks were spilled all over with no attempt to clean it up. This worked really well when I took my clients out to lunch. Nothings say's success like old bourbon and coke all over the car. I have never been treated so bad by any business. I will not rent from them again, ever. So yes, run to a good car rental.

VERY Poor service
Cons: I was given a car at night which had major body damage and I had to be the one to note this on their "walk around the car" form. I was exhausted from a late night flight and had I not looked at the car and noted this, they may very well have tried to pin a multiple thousand dollar damage claim on me. I called customer service the next day to report this and I was told someone would call back, but no one ever did. I called the following day and was placed on terminal hold. When I returned the car, the person noting the miles had a very poor attitude when I conveyed the saga....he could care less. a TERRIBLE experience and I will never use Advantage again.

Advantage in Vegas.. Might want to think twice
Pros: Clean rental, good price. Low mileage rental.
Cons: Pushy sales people at the counter, trying to con you into buying insurance you probably already have. Didn't tell me Road side assistance was optional, so when battery died, had to pay out of pocket to get a jump. Wont do business with them again.

Cons: Suggested insurance without telling it was optional. Also suggested an upgrade but did not offer all options. I believe there was a cheaper option available.

Price not as advertised.
Pros: It was a car so I guess it wasn't all bad. Can't think of anything nice to fill up 50 characters.
Cons: The price was not as advertised and just ridiculous. I pre-payed for the cost of the rental, 125 bucks. Then after deducting 125 from one card I get charged the full price of the rental, taxes and insurance on another card, bringing the total to almost $600. The total cost in my receipt was $367 for a car I already paid 125 for weeks ago. How you go from 125 to rent a car to adding an extra 250 in taxes, and fees?!?

The hard sale and lies about insurance!!
Cons: Everytime I use this company, they lie and give you the hard sell for insurance. It is to the point where I will use another company even if it is more expensive!!!!

Pros: The experience of renting the car was good. I didn't have any issues throughout my 2 day rental.
Cons: When I was picking up the car, the lady on the counter had a bad attitude. First of all, she was talking as if she was whispering so I had to ask to repeat everything. Then, she was rolling her eyes every time I asked her to repeat.

Pros: Price was very affordable and there was minimal time processing. Attendant up front was very personable and pleasant.
Cons: Car was not very clean up upon pick up. They did not give us a choice of car...just pre-assigned us one. Also, added additional driver, but was not advised of the hefty charge per day. That's on me, but it would be nice as a courtesy to advise customer at the time of contract agreement.

Surprised by upgrade
Pros: Clerk upgraded me from Economy to a Toyota Camry????
Cons: The car was dirty when i picked it up. Looked like it had been through a mud bath. When picking up cars in Las Vegas expect them to smell of smoke because of the casinos. Wish the cleaners could use a cloaking product to get rid of the smoke smell. Febreeze please.
