The car was in very good condition. It would have been better to be informed in advance that it could take up to 2 or 3 hours from arrival to pickup of the car (because the car rental is not only outside the airport, but also "external" to the car rental center. At the very least, we should have expected and prepared for this; I was traveling with two seniors and a toddler and it was a very bad experience for them.Reviewed Jan 30 2023

I liked absolutely nothing about Ace rental car. I will never make an attempt to rent a car from your establishment in the future nor will I ever recommend your services to anyone and those that ever ask me. I will tell them my experience. I was asked to provide a local utility bill with the address on my drivers license, which I had never heard of before this as a native born Nevada and I was turned away because my drivers license address was my PO Box for mailing and didn’t match my home address. I have never heard of such an absurd thing to have to provide proof of residency to rent a car! It is my hope that your business will collapse in on itself, and will no longer service the Las Vegas community.Reviewed Jan 25 2023

We were told that the insurance that we bought with Kayak did not apply in the state. We incurred $161.00 is extra hidden fees. At pick up the ace employee was deceptive saying we needed to rent a better car due to weather for $100 extra a day, we said no, several times. We are very unhappy with the deceptive practices of ace and kayak, extremely unhappy with $160 in extra fees as well as the $40 meaningless insurance we purchased via kayak. I am grateful for Ace Car Rental. They were especially busy, but still took care of us in a quick and efficient manner. Their staff is very kind and professional as well. I appreciate their consistency in all they do. They are dependable and caring. We will definitely being use them again. I think we have been there at least 3 times. we had scheduled a 6-7 passenger Kia Sorento for a rental from Ace rentals in Las Vegas. when we arrived, they did not rent out Kia vehicles and offer us a 4-5 passenger Jeep Compass. considerable smaller vehicle than what we had ordered offered us a Jeep Cherokee for $25.00 per day plus taxes. For the rental term it cost us an additional $223.32 (Cherokee is the same size as the Kia Sorento) We took the Jeep as we did not have any other option no happy going to send ace rentals a email to see if i can get my extra charges backReviewed Nov 15 2022

First of all, we weren’t told we had to take two shuttles to get to the rental company. Imagine our surprise when we shuttled to the rental car area and found out there was no ACE rental car company there! Very confusing for anyone who hasn’t experienced this airport rental system before. Then when waiting for our turn in line, there were so many confused, disgruntled, irate people. The wait was long and aggravating. Next, when speaking with the agent, we found out the insurance we pre purchased was not enough, had to purchase more. And then they tacked on an extra fee for deposit “in case” we kept the car longer than anticipated-$300! Then they charged my account accidentally, $930 dollars—3 times—$over $2700.00!! Fortunately they corrected that mistake—but not till after I left the car rental building. The one plus that I noticed, was a girl working there, her name was Michael Daniels. She was going around ‘putting out fires’, with everyone and everything! She had such great customer service skills like we haven’t seen in years! She addressed every problem, and spoke to everyone respectfully and calmly. We never saw her loose her patience or get nasty with anyone—when I know it was difficult! When I read the reviews I was a little skeptical, but I was very happy with my experience. The staff was great especially Brandie at rental return. You do have to take an extra shuttle but as long as you budget your time for that it is worth it. I would definitely rent from them again.Reviewed Oct 7 2022

Would rent elsewhere, they do not honor the booking fee when reserving online and hike the rental price in person. We paid nearly $300 for what was supposed to be $150. They charge a liability fee of $35 per day and additional exorbitant fees that aren’t listed online.Reviewed Sep 5 2022

Things they don’t tell you: you have to take a shuttle bus from the airport to a different location. Then you have to get off that bus and get on ANOTHER shuttle bus to get to the car rental place. Kind of an annoying hassle. When signing in, the guy made it sound like I HAD to choose from one of three protection plans (mind you, the price is NOT shown). So I just picked the basic, figuring since that was the least coverage that maybe that’s just what was included in my rental price. NOPE! What was supposed to be a $58/day rental ended up costing me $1,000 for 6 days! I’m thinking now that I probably didn’t actually have to pick any protection plan and they just tricked me into thinking I had to pick one…which added so much more to my bill. What they also don’t tell you is that you are only allowed to drive to certain states and if you go outside of that, they charge you 50 cents per mile! We rented from them because of having the unlimited miles…fortunately we only planned on visiting the states that were included but man, I’d be so mad if I had planned to go to a state not included and then got charged 50 cents per mile to go there. The positives: the car we rented was new, clean, and ran well. It was very spacious and easily fit a family of 7. Loved the automatic door open/close mechanism on the fob.Reviewed Aug 23 2022
