The level of service of the Hilton Chain and its luxury

Not bad, quite expensive, especially when you factor in that you have to pay €21 extra per day per computer (we're two people with two laptops) for internet, plus quite a bit more for taxes and breakfast and parking. Ultimately our €475 room came to about €750 per night with all the extras. Room service food is outrageously expensive - €36 for breakfast - plus tax, gratuity, room service fee, all comes to about €55 and that's if you don't tip the guys either. And, watch the bill, they have habit of charging for extra items that should be included in your breakfast set. The staff were mostly efficient but cold or indifferent and the maid's service was either dumb or lazy or both. They'd always miss things or forget to clean our room or leave the breakfast tray in the room while cleaning everything else. I guess that's room service's job, not theirs?

The greatest hotel breakfast buffet in existence. Eclectic retro design by Philippe Starck. Giant bathrooms. Cool tv in mirror with ability to aitply your device. Stunning linen sheets. Delicious Cafe Lait in tall insulated glasses. Lovely staff. The indoor pool is gorgeous with water bike and supplied goggles and flippers. The wifi was very slow and would sometimes not work at all. Our last day they reset it on our floor and it worked better but only slightly. Room service and restaurant were so expensive (breakfast was included but is 68 euro if not) that it was ridiculous. 33 euro for a caeser salad for example. 18 euro for French fries. It is two blocks from Etoile 1 metro but the area was very quiet with few stores unless you went over to the Champs. You need to travel a ways to get to less name brand shopping or boutiques. But all easy by a metro or usually two. Can't do much about that but thought I should mention. But none of these things would stop me from returning. It was a terrific hotel.

5.7+The bed, super comfortable.-1. Bed is queen size bed, not as advertised king size, but as we had a 3 years old son, they provided a separate bed for free. 2. There was a redecoration work going on while we stayed, it was so noisy and really they didn't respect that people want quietness when they go to hotels.

As an American in Paris, to be welcomed into The HPA is, in a profound sense, to be welcomed into the heart of France . . . into Parisian luxury. I must, in truth, admit that I am a person of exacting standards (my professional life requires such standards). Thus, for me to state highly complimentary remarks about a hotel amounts to deeply resonant truth. And too, I am deeply aware that the world contains people who have great means and those who have little or no means. Given this as background, my fervent wish is that all persons could experience the luxurious delight of The Hotel Plaza Athenee.

I liked the cozy rooms and boutique type feeling I was very dissapointed with the treatmnet I recieved, Ordered decaf coffee for pm got caffine was up entire night and ill ruined my entire day and all they offered was to remove coffee from bill or a glass of wine. They made it very unpleasant for me.

5.7+The staff was very helpful, the ambiance was nice and the rooms just beautiful-The bathroom has a jacuzzi without a shower-head (you can only take a bubble-bath) and a shower with the shower-head fixed into the ceiling. It's very cumbersome to take a basic shower without wetting one's hair. I hated it. They should have at least had a flexible shower head in the jacuzzi or shower.

4.8+actually this time nothing since room was not booked as requested(higher floor) out of two nights stay one complete day without hot water i am looking for compensation for the inconvinience caused since i have arrived at midnight on the first day of arrival and had to rush on the folloing day for shower before 10am as simply hot water will be cutted from 10 to 19.00 hrs??-the hotel require total renovation, being starwwod member i have asked for room upgrading with no success
