We visited Chicago to see Hamilton. The hotel is in a great location, within walking distance to restaurants and attractions, very close to the Private Bank Theater where Hamilton is playing. We arrived slightly early and worried about getting into our room, but the staff were able to accommodate us. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly. The self-park was included in our stay and very convenient. We had a king bed room which was very nice and clean. Overall very pleased!
Very small rooms and poor room service.
The proximity to Grant Park is great! Responsiveness to room requests were slow to non existent. I had to make three requests to have extra pillows delivered to my room (one request in person to the front desk staff, one to housekeeping, and one using the mobile app). I thought that was a bit excessive to get two extra pillows that I was told would be delivered the first time I walked down to the lobby and asked in person.
The location is good: close to subway, next to park, easy to get food to eat. I thought this is a 4-star hotel. When I saw the entrance of this hotel, it looks like 4-star. But when I got into the room, I thought I was in a 2-star Inn. The coffee maker is dirty, full of dust. The computer is not working and not able to off screen. The decoration of the room doesn't look like 4-star. Also, when the guest at next room used the bathroom, the loud "boom" sound would shock you. The WiFi is only free at lobby. The speed is really slow. When I refused to pay $30 for upgrade room with WiFi, the staff looked not happy. My teen girl was very disappointed for her trip to Chicago. She always wants to stay in hotel but this time she didn't want to stay longer.
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. The mattress was very uncomfortable.
close to Soldier Field No hot water - not even warm enough to take a shower. Slow and disengaged staff. Promised city or lake view ended up being a view of an AC unit and the parking lot for the hotel.
The hotels staff was incredibly nice. The hotel itself was extremely clean. The location was perfect. It was close to everything touristic

We loved the special lounge to relax in. It was like having our own kitchen and living room. Everything was great.
Location - very convenient. One of those hotels that tries to make money on every little extra. Cockroaches on the 26th floor where our room was. Reported it to the front desk - they didn't sound surprised at all.
We got a great deal for the night so we decided to give it a try. We were pleasantly surprised. Very comfortable. Love the memorabilia throughout. We'll stay here again.
The location of the hotel is perfect. It is within walking distance to the parks and many other attractions. The decor was not that of what I expected at The Hard Rock. Our first room was dirty and incredibley small. The staff was very accommodating and moved us to what was supposed to be a nicer room. The new room was a bit larger but still not very clean. There was urine spatter all around the floor by the toilet. The couch appeared to have stains on the cushions. I can only imagine what those were. The furniture was more than weathered and worn looking as well. It was a very underwhelming expierence of which we will not be repeating!
Free filtered bottles of water! Very centrally located to theaters and to the Blue line train to O'Hare airport was very convenient. Easy walk to rent bikes and quiet for sleeping The TV was all the way across the room and air condition did not seem to cool off the room.
Great for a business trip where you don't spend a ton of time in the room. Not so great for a couple's getaway weekend. Room was rather small and room was in need of upgrades.
Clean comfortable room, nice staff. Great location While the bar/lounge was nice, the lack of Gym and pool were something I missed.
I liked that it was close to everything we wanted! The wifi was slow! They had no ice machines in the hallways so we had to call every time for the front desk to being some to us. When entering the hotel it had a clean but smelly odor it was weird! We requwsted with a nice view but we got the back of another buildings view! The shower had some mold!
The decor and rooms very nice, and the proximity to restaurants and entertainment was perfect. The rooftop bar was a desirable place to be. Free waters weren't offered for Hilton honors members like other Hilton brand hotels. The only free waters were 2 11oz bottles in the room, which is not what I've come to expect when staying in Hilton hotels. This is a perk I love because I drink a lot of water. Also, there is no incentive for hotel guests to go to the rooftop bar. The cost for admittance is the same no matter what, and you would think they would want their guests to spend more time at their hotel.
Great downtown location. Doors locks dont work. Bathroom fixtures broken.

one of the two hotel elevators was not working... we were on the 11th floor.. it took nearly 30 minutes each time to get an elevator..the AC was not working . The room was nice and comfortable.. however the AC and the elevator really created a bit of stress for us... the cost for the weekend visit 2 nights was not acceptable given the conditions.. When I asked the front desk clerk to adjust our bill she went on about how they were working on getting the elevator repair but it was difficult on the weekend.. still no satisfaction on my end. Everything about this stay was top notch. Every single encounter with an employee was pleasant, polite and helpful. Rooms, common areas and restaurant were comfortable and spotless. We could not have asked for a better location - central to everything.
Staff promptly covered our mistake of a missing room with a walk-in and helped the family stay together during the vacations!
Rooms are pretty clean and comfort Staff was really bad, they treat you in a bad way, they didnt provide any help, they charge you for everything. I asked for a double bed room and they charged me extra 20$ even I requested the room weeks ago, Internet isnt free and is really expensive.
