Stayed here Dec 12-14, 2014, this was our 2nd time staying here due to close proximity to Navy Pier's Winter Wonderland. Last year the Manager's reception offered better appetizers, seemed to be a bit cheaper this year. Staff is wonderful and room was really clean. We had an issue with the thermostat, it was almost 80 degrees the whole stay. The kids love it here, it's really family oriented. They seemed to like swimming in the pool better than Winter Wonderland, they made several little friends during our short stay. Will probably be back next year, we love it here.

Staff was very helpful and we were able to get a later checkout upon our departure, which was nice and allowed to kids to swim for a bit before we left. Check in and out was easy, and parking was easily accessible. The price on the all inclusive Disney kids on Demand TV package I order did not reflect what was charged to my bill. It was only a difference of $2.99 and ultimately not a big deal, but still, I feel as though you should be paying what you are quoted. Also, being that it was a holiday weekend, it would have been nice if breakfast was open until 10 as it is on the weekends, but I get the weekend vs. weekend schedule. The lines were a bit long by the end of breakfast and early breakfast is always hard to do with my kids. But again, not a huge deal in the whole scheme of things. We will definitely be back.

The hotel is located in a wonderful part of Chicago - it's situated right between Michigan for shopping and to the south is the park and museums, to the east is Navy Pier. You can't have a better location - and not to mention, being right on the water (river - not Lake Michigan although that is only minutes away)! Nothing - it's a great hotel - stayed there many a times when I visit.

The location, bed, and shower were perfect. The room size was great and the view of the river was beautiful. It's in walking distance of the Willis tower and sky gate. Parking is about 55 dollars for 24hrs, and about 14 for 30 minutes. There is no fridge in the room. There was no coffee in the room, as is supplied at lower end hotels. Because there are restaurants in the building, when we asked for recommendations on places to eat the staff would only recommend those places, which are overly expensive. No complimentary breakfast.

Great location WAY TOO OVER CROWDED, we didn't get the room we requested and had to change rooms the second night. Overall, not a great value for the money. I would stay elsewhere next time, since there is a ton of hotels in that area.
We loved how close it was to navy pier. The view from our room was amazing. How dusty our room was. There were dust bunnies on the desk.

The rooms on the river side had such wonderful views of the river, boats, buildings. The views were awesome both diring the day and night. Also enjoyed the outside dining and area to have a drink or just relax. Many attractions were within walking distance. Nothing stands out. Love the hotel and location.
It was a great location and the staff was very friendly. I spent a lot of time looking for a room that would comfortably fit 3 adults. I was traveling with my 19 year old daughter and my 67 year old mother. I specifically booked and paid for a "triple room". When we got to the room there were 2 small double beds. Not at all what I expected for 3 adults or for $400 per night. Be very aware of what you are actually getting for your money. This was not at all comfortable for 3 regular sized adults. I will say everything else was fine but I felt very ripped off for what we paid vs. what we got. I could have booked a regular room anywhere for much less.
We did not expect a room with a view but we got one and it was amazing! The rooms were also very large and we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. We were right beside the elevators so we heard them often but we got used to it. At first if just sounded like a plane flying overhead until we figured it out but it was no where near a deal breaker for booking again.
I booked a room in Chicago at the Swissotel for two nights and after reading the horror stories about kayak bookings through getaroom, I was a bit apprehensive. Based on my travel plans and circumstances, I was able to risk it and make other lodging plans if necessary, so I risked the inconvenience of whatever troubles getaroom might cause me. Fortunately, I did not run into any troubles at all and had a wonderful stay at a luxurious hotel that is in a great location. I received all the service and privileges of a normal stay at the Swissotel. No complaints.

Love the location near River & Lake Michigan. River walk has so much to offer right outside the doors. Walkable to most major attractions. Just off from the crowds of Michigan Ave. This is our 4th time and always my first choice when visiting Chicago.
Location was great for Michigan Avenue shopping as well as Shedd Aquarium, Museums, and Navy Pier. The pool and hot tub were great. The water temperature was perfect for kids. The view was excellent from the top floor, which is where the pool/fitness area is located. Rooms were comfortable and quiet. Elevator system was easy. The overall design of the hotel was a bit unique and differentiated from other Chicago 4 Star + choices. We valet parked the car. When you leave, you go down to the parking garage to exit. The corner to drive out and up the ramp is super tight . I ended up scraping my back door pretty substantially. It was operator error for sure. I would just caution others to be careful as they leave or ask one of the valet guys who do this all the time to drive it through the corner.
Nice views from the room and the fitness center. Very clean and quiet despite how busy the lobby was with guests! Low, popcorn ceilings really make the room feel more like a motel than a high-rise! The room was a bit outdated overall. Also the location was not super easy to access on foot - ended up taking more cabs than we would have liked.

It was in a pretty great location and all of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were well kept and comfortable, though do need a bit of updating. We did not receive a very warm welcome upon driving up to the hotel. It took us a minute to find a valet and a bellhop.
Beds super comfy; Felt like I was staying at a spa; Staff super friendly and helpful; beautiful view of the river and partial skyline; GPS kept wanting to take me to the closed parking garage underground; Had to ask other hotel valet down there how to get up top to my hotel (not hotel's fault). Valet expensive ($70), but guess it's the norm for Chicago.
The staff was unfriendly. There was always a line to get into an elevator from the lobby. The rooms were small and dirty with stains on furniture. You can hear everything through the paper-thin walls. Poor night sleep because our neighbors were up causing noise all night. Do not recommend.

The rooms were so nice! Very clean, chic, modern. The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable. The lobby was incredible. The location was awesome, with views overlooking Lake Michigan and Navy Pier. Our remote batteries were dead and it took about 5 minutes for someone to visit our room with a new remote. The service was excellent! The sliding door on the bathroom; the bathroom wasn't very private. The gym was not as large as it looked in photos I saw online, and it was incredibly busy.
Service was fantastic, and the newly remodeled facilities were eye-catching and beautiful, as well as functional. The location was fantastic too. I felt nickeled-and-dimed for things that should have been cheaper, or free. For instance, parking: $65 per day to park is outrageously expensive, even for Chicago, and should have been much cheaper, or free, for what we payed to stay in the hotel. I get that it's not a Holiday Inn...but that surprised me. Also...buy more than single-ply TP, and fix the cable television. Didn't work the whole time we were there.

I liked all the design of the cuilding structure and room. I did not like that check in was at 3:00pm but ghey did not let me check in until almost an hour later because my room wasnt ready and there was suppose to be a small fridge there but it was locked up ,So couldnt keep my food fresh.
Rooms looked great and was very comfortable. The view was great. For a room that costs 250.00 and up being nickel and dimed for things is kind of silly. Pay for wifi??? Really. Parking was also pretty outragous. The restaurant was pretty over priced for the quality as well. I understand payibg fir your suroundings but was a bit much..... We've stayed there quite a few times now. May be time to try another place.
I was charged by both Kayak as well as the hotel. I'm now going on my second week of "working" with a totally incompetent staff on getting reimbursed. I have received phone verification over a week ago that I was going to be reimbursed. 5 Phone calls later I received an email confirmation, yet I have yet to receive any reimbursement. When asked to speak to a manager I was told the manager was aware of the situration and my reimbursement would be received in the form of a credit on my credit card - that was 5 days ago and still no credit.
Location, staff, great pool and work put facilities. We were able to walk where ever we needed to go. Architecture is beautiful. Great place to stay. Comfortable rooms, nice view. We loved our stay and will go back. Need a better coffee maker. Small microwave in room. Fridge for your own soft drinks. Mini bar was very expensive
From the moment you pull up in front of the InterContinental you know you've made a wise choice. A friendly, suited doorman opened the cab door and welcomed us into the beautiful lobby decorated with a 4-story Christmas tree. We checked in and an exceptionally friendly clerk, Mariana, made sure we were given a quiet corner room, per our request. Our room was clean, spacious, and newly renovated - but not overdone. The wi-fi was fast, the bathroom toiletries lovely, and the room was quiet. Stop and see the pool -- it is the original, and its gorgeous. How often do you see chandeliers over a swimming pool that once boasted Esther Williams as a swimmer? Best of all, the location. Between Ontario Street and the Chicago Tribune, right before the river -- perfect! When we stepped off the elevator the rug was worn and shabby. This was our only complaint about the decor.

The location was top notch in a historic building- it was pointed out during our architectural boat tour! Our room's windows were inches from a brick wall which made me feel very unsafe. No notice that it was an interior rom when we booked. In addition, we could hear the wedding reception going on below. Sure this hotel has plenty of rooms, but do you really want to chance it that you will be placed in one without a window?

This hotel has a long history and floor plans are quirky but the rooms are remodeled and modern. Our room in the historic tower had a 31st floor view that happened to have windows facing 3 different directions for a 270 degree view from Michigan Avenue to Lake Michigan (I think it was the only one on the floor with that expansive view). Minibar charges when we didnt use anything is always really annoying. I would have hoped a nice hotel like the Intercontinental wouldn't have this issue.
Location is great, staff professional and helpful. Room was cramped, room service breakfast was HUGELY expensive not to mention over cooked and arrived cold. And who chose the hall carpet? No one in my party could understand the choice. Unattractive and at first glance looks as though it is worn and needs replacement. Not a great impression.
This Intercontinental is in a great location on the Magnificent Mile. The rooms are spacious and the bed and bathrooms are nicely updated. The pool was very nice as well. I would recommend the valet if you are staying a over 24 hours they have a flare rate and you can leave and come back. Parking around the area is just as expensive but you can't leave and comeback. They also gave me late checkout of 2 PM.
Location was fantastic and newly renovated older tower was lovely. Pool and health center were fantastic When we parked in the garage, no one offered to help us with our luggage. The parking fee was astronomical at $67 a night. I was charged $400 plus dollars for a mini bar that we never touched and it was obviously from another room as the names on the requests were not us. One employee said she would have to investigate and it would delay our checkout. NOT GOOD! I called the front desk again and spoke to someone else who immediately removed it

Lack of comfortable lounge area in the bar area. Years back there was a very ample lounge area for either for couples or larger groups. Too bad they eliminated it. I am also glad the re-opened the pool early.
The view from the room was very good The staff was excellent. The place had a very modern feel and look. The bed was very comfortable I would go back. The room did not have enough outlets. The room was small for the cost.
It is such a big hotel I found it chaotic especially with several different events going on. Crowds of people, lots of noise. Just too big a apace for me!
Great newly updated rooms and incredible gym that puts many Health Clubs to shame. Room Svc leaves a bit to be desired but luckily they're located in great proximity to many great restaurants.

This hotel is exactly what you'd expect from a stay in Downtown Chicago. Imposing structure, bustling atmosphere, and lofty prices. The central location couldn't be beat and the view provides you a look at the city no matter which direction you face. Room was clean and modern. After some initial difficulties, a new room was provided and sorted out with a credit to be used with breakfast (delicious breakfast, but expect to be charged the Chicago price for it). The price for staying directly on the Magnificent Mile shouldn't be surprising. The lobby was constantly occupied and persistently loud, which also is indicative of a stay in Chicago. The initial room assignment seemed to belong to another individual as there appeared to be clothing in the closet and a suitcase laid out when the door upon a very brief inspection from the cracked door. After informing the front desk, a new room was quickly assigned...but only one of the two keys ended up working. After our final trip to the front desk, we were in better shape and the breakfast the next day was delicious. The room was by no means spacious, but exactly in what you'd expect from Chicago standards. Don't forget you'll be paying for parking, which is at least simplified by the ability to charge to your room.
The best part is that the Merriot is in the "heart of the city". Offsite parking.
I arrived 2am and there was no reservation and the company never told me there was a problem with my card. Spend until 4am getting another reservation for next day and then arrived and there was no reservation again. They ruined my entire business trip. had to spend half day looking for another hotel. The first night Marriott accommodated me in a room that was not what I expected. At least had a place to sleep. They were kind and very helpful, but the room I got was not what I expected. But It wasn't hotel's fault was getaroom.com fault.

The hotel is brand new and it shows. It's beautifully furnished, comfortable, and very trendy. The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything with extraordinary views. There was a strange smell in the room whenever we left for a while. The staff was friendly but also inexperienced, as they tended to hover and be a little over-bearing. In addition, the front desk staff provided us with false information and accidentally billed us close to $300 that has yet to be taken off my credit card bill.

Close to the River and lakefront Trail. Good starting Point, so you can explore North and South of the City. Lots of Restaurants and supermarket across the street. We definitely recommend the loews Chicago hotel! Nothing - everything was Great!
I have stayed in many upper end hotels in Chicago and this property has a great location, great staff, rooms are fabulous and an overall great stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay again.
The Loews was an overall excellent experience. From arrival to departure the service was spot on. The hotel was not only very clean but excellently staffed. Everyone who worked for the hotel was more than willing to assist you in any matter you may need and were very polite. The front desk employees were extremely helpful with everything from advice on night life to helping make sure all my bases were covered on a very special between my lady and I. (thank you very much Noah for going above and beyond... We both thank you for helping us have a great night). It was very apparent that the employees took pride in their jobs and strived to accommodate all guest the best they could. The hotel had a great energy and was a very positive atmosphere. The hotel flowed extremely well and was decorated beautifully. The rooms were spacious and felt very secure. The hotel was in a very low key part of the city, it was surrounded by places you would want to go in Chicago (ie. Restaurants, bars, navy pier, magnificent mile etc..) overall excellent experience and we will be back. None, accommodations were excellent.

This was sad and frustrating for a luxury hotel -The parking situation for self parking is expensive for multiple days unlike other hotels next to it. Hopefully they can come up with a discounted rate for extended parking with Loews for next time. -The tv stopped working for a few hours one evening during our stay.

The hotel was nice overall but a few experiences totally ruined our trip. First off, it's the middle of the summer and the air conditioning in our room wasn't working. So we had to sleep in an 80 degree room. Next we found a massive blood stain on the comforter that someone tried to wash but it never came out. Absolutely disgusting! There was also mild in the shower which again goes to show the rooms are NOT clean. There was also very little lighting in the room and most did not even work. For over $300 a night do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.

Pool and jacuzzi were closed, which was a real disappointment since it was one of the major reasons why I chose the hotel. My view wasn't great but I understand it's kind of a thing that's out of my control.

The rooms were very clean, as was the gym. The location is within a short walk of most anything you'd might like to experience on a short trip to Chicago and yet the hotel is on a side street that keeps the nights stay quiet. Here's the thing: The Hyatt hotel is immaculately clean, provides comfortable bedding, has a large, clean Gym, and is near most of the things that I would want to do in a short period of time in Chicago... So why two? Because these are the things that any hotel should have. Saying these things are a perk of the Hyatt is like saying or Raven has the perk of being especially black- it's a raven, of course it's feathers are black- The problem here is that the photography and the advertising of the hotel makes it appear to be something that it is not: it is not a stunning luxury property. It does not have an incredibly intuitive and beyond accommodating staff, and it is not a property that includes the kind of accommodations that I'd expected when I had originally booked my stay. More on par with a comfort inn, or Marriott courtyard, then a main-name property such as JW Marriott, Hilton, or Westin, this "Hyatt" seemed bare-bones and disorganized. Two rather slow elevator trips separate you from any convenience of entrance and exit- The room was not ready when I arrived and the option suggested to me in compensation was a larger suite that featured less beds then I requested and came at an additional cost, as that was my fault my room was not ready, and as if if I would prefer to pay more for something that offered less than what I had asked for. At any class hotel, I wouldn't have been upgraded, and I would have been upgraded at cost to the property. The bathrooms, while clean, were adorned with showerheads that looked like they had been purchased in a 1986 apartment building resale auction and worked about as well as an exposed drain pipe I once showered beneath in Thailand. Parking is a full $24 per day more expensive than the majority of the garages around the area, which for the life of me I can't understand why, and the valets took nearly 15 minutes more than they had suggested to retrieve my car when requested, and did so in such a manner that the majority of things I keep in my trunk had shifted- and believe me for someone who drives as aggressively as I do without cause for such an occurrence- this can only lead me to believe that the valets thought perhaps they were in a stock car race. overall, it's not so much that I dislike to my stay at the Hyatt- it's that being in Chicago native company, and a highly rated hotel, with a main branch name, I genuinely expected to be walking into a situation that was just one star more professional than what I received- and the Accumulation of one experience after the other constantly coming in just slightly less than what it should have been found me leaving the hotel with a fairly negative taste in my mouth, not for the stay that I received, but for the complete and underwhelming lack of what I had expected. My suggestion- if you were going to stay 20 minutes outside the city at some discount hotel, this place is better. But if you want the downtown Chicago experience, don't even look in this direction

Brenda served us for breakfast most days. She was a the best. Always attentive friendly. Took care of us well. Our last day we had a different waitress and our order wasn't right, we couldn't get her attention and had to get a manager in order to get our check. When you go for breakfast in the fabulous restaurant, ask for Brenda. Loved the green drink with Apple, spinach and ginger. It was really good.

We loved our stay at the doubletree, complimentary cookies and the front desk, the bed was lovely and the location is great, only few blocks from the magnificent mile. My husband woke up at night due to the outside street noise (cars&sirens) I personally did not hear it. I guess it depends how light of a sleeper someone is.

Went up to Chicago to catch a craft beer festival. The hotel was very accommodating, helping us take our many, many, manyou cases of beer and two tiny bags of luggage to our room. With the convenience of in and out parking and even providing plates when our pizza was delivered made our short stay amazing. Would definitely stay here again City garage parking is sooooooooo expensive!

The bed was comfortable This hotel is in serious need of remodeling! There is signage (28th floor near the elevator) with blended jagged edges. The filers in the room need to be cleaned. The bathtubs have caulking with gaping holes everywhere and the carpet needs cleaning. There are layers of cobwebs all over the windows and in the business area of the room.
The location was excellent. Right off of Michigan Ave. The beds were comfortable. The hotel needs some updates. The only thing that made it 'Hip and trendy" was the decor. We could see the light from the hallway shining through into our room because the gaps between the walls and the door was ridiculous. It was a built in night light. No information about the hotel was in the room either. Didn't know who to call or where to get anything. Glad we didn't pay more than what we did. And by the way, the tacky, shiny, red wall paper in the bathroom was terrible. =]
The hospitality staff were incredible! Provided my sister and I with great information, scheduled us for a cruise that was truly informative, and obtained a dinner reservation on short notice. I can't say enough about how helpful and welcoming they were.

The room was great! Much bigger than we expected, and had a nice sitting room and desk area in addition to the (very comfortable!) bed. Neat rooftop lounge, great place to go grab a drink and enjoy the view. Staff was very friendly, and you absolutely can't beat the location. My only complaint is that there were a lot of issues with the elevators being broken the last couple days. Usually at least one was functional, but with a lot of traffic flowing up to the rooftop bar that wasn't quite enough, and it's not fun taking the stairs to the higher floors!
Good size for the price. Great king sized bed, good views even on the fourth floor. Cafe/bar was great - very good coffee. Location is perfect. Right next to Michigan avenue. The revolving door is a little heavy.
The service was great and the roof top bar was also pretty wonderful. I had no problems with this hotel at all, I enjoyed my stay all around.
I've stayed here multiple times over the last few years, and the last couple visits have been mediocre. Check-in has taken too long, staff has been cold and sometimes borderline rude, and the rooms seem to be in an increasing level of disrepair. I think this might have been my last stay at MileNorth. Bummer because the location is great for my typical visits. Check-in. Rude-ish staff. Rooms need maintenance.
Lobby is nice. Rooms are nice. Parking right across the street at the hospital. Location is great for shopping.

I loved the modern rooms and cleanliness of he space. The hotel was convenient to work on Michigan Avenue. The lighting in the background needs to be upgraded as my co-worker and I who both stayed in different rooms had an issue with putting our makeup on in the morning. Additionally, no one at the front desk could help me with an iPhone 5 charger and gave me the excuse that they had all been lent out. Many of the guests were business men and women, so the hotel should always be prepared with that.

Great location and very upscale!!!!! Amazing rooms and quaint little bar in the lobby! Would love to come back in the summer and check out their roof top bar!!!!! We will comeback

The location was perfect, right in the heart of the magnificent mile. Perfect for those who want to walk and not worry about ground transportation. Having a pool was a must for our family, so we enjoyed having the pool after a long day of sight-seeing and shopping. The team was helpful when we had needs and overall it was an excellent experience. Price of parking in the area is absurd, but that has nothing to do with these guys!

The internal noise of the hotel made it virtually impossible to sleep past 7 am in the morning. The noise could be heard through out the floor, possibly a plumbing issue or the echoing of the elevators...we made it work, but not an ideal situation for vacationing.

We arrived really early and the staff was very accommodating. Our rooms weren't ready but they happily stored our luggage while we went to lunch.
Super clean room and very nice breakfast selection One of the three elevators was down and the wait for an elevator in the mornings was unbelievable. I waited for 15 min to get onto one that had room for even 1 person.

It was right in the middle of downtown. The first room they gave us had used sheets with lipstick stains on them, and the room had a odor to it, after a little bit of complaining they moved us to another room. The Bathroom in the 2nd room smelled of urine, there was a hole in the lamp shade, the vent for the air conditioner had a very loud raddle to it and there was wall paper pealing off the wall. There was 3 elevators for 40 floors, so it was about a 10 minute wait to exit your floor. I paid 300 dollars for one night, I expected better.
We stayed on the 23rd floor, and we were there for 2 nights. Unfortunately, the elevators were SUPER slow. We waited for over 15 minutes both mornings before deciding to take the stairs. We heard others talking about it at breakfast too. Middle of the day, it wasn't as bad. My legs still hurt from doing so many stairs this weekend. Otherwise, the location to Michigan Avenue was GREAT. Close to our favorite restaurant, Grand Lux.

Lovely LARGE room, great view and location, nice area in which to eat breakfast - modern and comfortable with plenty of seating. Full size hairdryer is especially appreciated along with ample clean towels. Some elevator or machinery noise - did not bother me, almost like "white noise," but light sleepers might object.
location was great Starbucks was close poor breakfast, little to choose from. Suite was small and sleeping area not separated from seating area very well. Coffee supplied in the room was bad.
The staff was truly friendly and helpful! It was a great location as well. Fluffier towels would be a plus.
The people who worked there were so nice! They did everything to make us feel comfortable and at home. I didn't like the construction noise but the staff was very nice and accommodating about it and I'm sure it will be over soon!

Clean, updated rooms for a great price. Lots of places close to eat with our family of 5. Free trolley ride one block away to Navy Pier but in walking distance without young kids. Not a lot of rooms on each floor that made it a quiet stay. Had a twin size comfortable air mattress for an extra bed also. Wish it had a pool but knew it didn't prior to booking. Slow wifi.
I loved the rooms decor and finishes. Everyone was very nice and personable. So close to Michigan Ave. Nothing that can be fixed but I wish it was a taller building with better view.

Great front desk staff, rooms were clean and modern, although the bathroom a bit small. Very comfortable for a one-night stay. Breakfast with lots of options. Currently under construction means no real lobby, but they are very accommodating. Heater maybe not the most efficient but kept room warm enough.
Nothing at all Our toilet NEVER worked, overflowed, staff tried to fix, but not successful! Our remote did not work, and last night several people on our floor call the police for a domestic dispute! Would never stay or recommend this hotel
Great location and price for the night. Check in was smooth and a smoke free room was nice. happy they checked my bag for the day so I could walk Chicago without my bag. TV was broken and wouldn't turn on. Hair dryer was also broken so much so that the fan was literally rattling around the inside. Heater/air conditioning had a change filter light on which makes me wonder how long it had been since its last change. Shower was pathetic and barely came out of the showerhead. Staff wasn't rude just seemed to be entirely apathetic to guests. Don't know if this is because management is treating them poorly, but Brenda who helped me with check out seemed happier when I smiled and was friendly when I checked my bag for the day.
Great location! Room smelled like sewage. Cockroaches in bathtub. I asked for "view preferred" and was mistakenly put on the second floor.

Just steps from Michigan Ave and the Magnificent Mile, this hotel has been my go to place when I'm in Chicago. It's not fancy for the price but it is a good value for the money. Location is key.
The hotel is 1 block eats of the Mag Mile and half way down the mag mile so you are right in the middle of the shopping district. It is easily the cheapest hotel in that area. All other hotels nearby are 2.5 times the price. The room is a little musty smelling and the hotel is a little outdated but it was a place to lay our heads and get some sleep.
It was a good location and was relativity easy to find on foot. Our TV didn't work at all, there was candy wrappers and garbage on the floor from the previous guest, the power strip that was used for the coffee maker had a broken off ground in it, clearly a safety hazard. We will not be staying here ever again.
Walked in to someone stuck in the elevator. Pot ash in the sink. Broken heater. Then the employees totally took care of us. Can't beat price and location. The business I needed to do was very convenient. For all the haters, this is what Chicago is all about, get over yourselves. 48 per night valet, if you drive. Your not going to get street parking until Chicago blue line stop.
It was cheap and employees were nice. It was dirty, smelly, and everything was old and broken down looking.
The location is perfect for Mag Mile shopping!! The employees were very nice. The price was also very low in comparison to neighboring hotels. The room thermometer did not work. They tried to fix it and said if it didn't work we would have to switch rooms. The room was 77 and 78 degrees all day/night. The room size is very small. if you do not plan on being in your room much it is fine.
The location is fantastic. You can walk to most interesting attractions. The room was clean and everything worked (lights, A/C, shower, etc) The room was tight. Needed to take out a drawer to open the sofa bed. The staff did not clean the room for the second day. Valet Parking is expensive even though saves you from trouble.
