Pros: We were in town for a long weekend and had an amazing time at the resort. The beach, the spa, the service all five stars. Since every room has a kitchen, the grocery store across the street makes it so convenient. Taking an Uber down to Miami Beach takes 15 minutes so you have the best of everything. Definitely staying there again next trip to Miami.
Cons: I wish the pool stayed open later but with the ocean right there no worries. Then again none of the hotels pools stay open past dusk, at least on the strip.
Pros: There were lots of fitness classes to choose from and the spa area itself was really nice. We ate the breakfast buffet which was good with lots of healthy choices like salmon and capers and steel cut oatmeal. The location on the beach was wonderful.
Cons: We have stayed at many luxury resorts which were less $ and this one just didn't meet up with those standards. Staff was good but not great. Rooms were nice but not fabulous, you get the picture.... You are really paying a lot for the spa /fitness classes and since that wasn't our main purpose we only took one class so didn't take advantage
of this. We did have a massage which was a lot more money than other 5 star hotels we've stayed at, but was good.

Pros: Proximity to beach and Lincoln Mall. Our room was right off the pool which was super convenient. Front desk staff couldn't have been nicer especially when I disputed some charges at checkout out.
Cons: The facilities need maintenance. Particularly the pool area. Broken tiles and the bottom of the pool was chopping off in at least one large area. The bathroom also could use some maintenance. The vanity top had a chopper out of it and theme leftist was rusting in areas.
Pros: Location, pool area, room & bed comfort. It is located right out of the loud crowd on Ocean Drive, so it is a lot more chilled and relaxed. Overall, much better than all other hotels on South Beach.
Cons: I can't quite say it was a true 5 star experience in terms of appearance and for the premium price. But again, a lot better than the other hotels around.
Cons: I was charged twice for my staying and although I've contacted the site several times and it's been three weeks I still couldn't get my money back
Pros: Every staff member said hello to me. Staff was very friendly
Cons: The Spa experience was ok, Massage for a deep tissue was weak. The Sauna was not on, I turned it on but should be preheated for guests or what good is it. For $440 for 2 - 50 minutes massages I expect more.
Pros: The first night was a disaster. At about 5:45 p.m. I called down to report a loud fan/ motor annoying noise. They said they would send someone up. We left about 20 minutes later for a dinner reservation. When we came back later that evening it was late nothing had changed. we were to tied to do anything so we tried to go to bed. Sleep did not come for either of us easily and we were up a good part of the night.
The next day I complained and the girl offered us a $50.00 credit and would move us down from the top floor in the same proximity. the noise was probably from the motors on the roof.
Looking out after agreeing I saw all the fans from the building next door so I called back and said it was not acceptable. I was turned over to the Rooms manager (Emily) who was excellent we were moved closer to the front of the building, no noise good sleep a Ritz Carlton experience. First day terrible second day great. Not sure how to evaluate
Pros: Staff, location
Cons: Not up to Ritz standards! More like a motel
Pros: Location is perfect for experiencing all that South Beach has to offer; staff was fantastic and very accommodating; food was very good;
Cons: The way of the travel world now appears to be to charge little bits (or more) for every little thing, this was no exception.
Pros: I like the location and the beach area.
Cons: The room had big stains on the carpet & it was not well maintained or cleaned.
Pros: Kelly at check in, superb. Ziggy, beach manager above and beyond. The beautiful lady who delivered room service at 1 AM and serenaded my daughter with a lovely Happy Birthday. All the staff were friendly, and excellent!
Cons: The lobby decor. Also, no coffee shop.
With its iconic address among the pastel palette skyline of Miami Beach Art Deco hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach puts you in the heart of the chic urban landscape of one of the city’s most fabled neighborhoods. The landmark hotel, designed by famed architect Morris Lapidus in the Miami heyday of postmodernism style, embraces its glamorous past with a transformed contemporary spirit.
Cons: No parking at hotel. Had to park 4 blocks away just to check in. $30 for overnight parking.
Floors in room were dirty.
Elevator was broke. Stairs only.
Glass globe from light fixture came crashing down and shattered all over tile floor and bed. Had to move rooms in middle of night.
A/C didn't work well. 77degrees in room all night.
Beds were lumpy.
Internet photos are very misleading on this place!!!!!!!
Originally built in 1936, right in the heat of the worldwide Art Deco movement, the Cavalier Hotel is truly a part of South Beach history. Recently renovated in 2015, the hotel was given a few modern updates and alterations, but still possesses a unique charm and style unlike any other in Miami.
Today, the Cavalier Hotel still offers one of the most affordable experiences in all of Miami, and is absolutely unbeatable in value for its highly desirable location. Situated directly on Ocean Drive, and sitting just steps from Lummus Park and the Atlantic Ocean, this South Beach boutique hotel is within close proximity to all the city’s most important sites and within the heart of its ever growing arts and culture scene.
Pros: Location and staff
Also quite for sleeping even though spring break
Cons: Driving on strip
Pros: The staff were amazingly helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful to an almost unbelievable level. Our view from the 8th flood was gorgeous. The window opened!! We even asked for somewhere to store a few mixers and leftovers and they wheeled us a small fridge! Awesome.
The Tides South Beach, known as the Diva of South Beach in the 1930s, is central to South Beach attractions; boutiques, restaurants, and theaters are within walking distance, and the beach is across the street.
Cons: We stayed there for a week and we didn't like:
- Noisy, music everywhere, very loud, not smooth nor relaxing
- noisy guests that staff did not stop, in my case, people came to the lounge with their own speakers
- noisy rooms, better get out early, before 9 am or housekeepers will let you know you are lazy
- fees for everything, it's ok to pay for additionals, but resort fee is not worth it (and it's a hidden cost), valet excessive, fees for receiving packages is expensive.
I would recommend to bundle better tariffs and consider flat fees or caped fees for those who stay several days.
After the second day, we ended trying to avoid every reason to stay in the hotel during the day. In particular, we avoided the pool, only one time tried to spend the morning there but could not resist the music of the hotel and the personal music of some guests.
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff, spacious and clean room, very nice facilities (indoors and outdoors), renovation of reception area a major improvement.
Pros: I had a very pleasant stay, the staff was amazing.
Pros: The view from the room
Cons: The Roach that was crawling around the room. Took forever for housekeeping to respond to compliant
I had to call the Loews 1-800 number to get service after calling front desk
Pros: The hotel was beautiful ocean front view balcony view.. Very close to ocean drive an Lincoln mall rd. We really didn't need a car.. O yeah right on the Beach.. They have beautiful outside water plaza where I got on my need an she said yesss
Cons: ATTN we were notified before our stay way before our stay there would be construction but how would I know I'd get the room right next to all the banging and beating
Pros: Location, layout
Cons: Drilling & hammers right by my room at 7a. I can understand 10a. For those from Ca this means it started at 4a
Partying, LOUD rap music , yelling from balcony on my floor. I complained and NOTHING was done
Cons: Under construction; noisy
Pros: I loved the hotel was right by the beach
The amenities including the spa, banana boat, beach chairs and excellent customer service
Pros: Pool area was beautiful, and open 24 hours! Love how the hotel was right next to the beach. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Price of food and drinks at the pool / beach was expensive, but it was what I expected when booking the hotel. Beach chairs were included in the resort fee, which was nice, but the fee didn't include a beach umbrella with the chairs...the umbrella was an extra $25 for the day (and we absolutely needed the umbrella because it was so hot outside).
Pros: the hotel amenities were fine, meals were good not exceptional. pool is nice as is beach access.
Cons: i don't recommend for a vacation setting. hotel is very large, busy - not relaxing for a couple. Lacked the intimacy and romantic touches of other hotels catering to vacationers vs. business.
Pros: Hotel is good but pricey for its accommodation .building is little old .
Cons: Beach is too far from hotel. Bathroom is small for the price paid for room
A beloved hotel with an enviable oceanfront location is now even better, following a $50 million renovation. Stay at the redesigned Loews Miami Beach Hotel and enjoy all-new experiences throughout your stay. Welcome to a South Beach Icon, Reimagined.
Pros: Hotel Excelente tudo e perfeito vou voltar para ficar mais vezes
Pros: Amazing location, beautiful balcony and loved all the pools!
Cons: Wish there was a adult only pool
Pros: The room's view of the ocean! Wow!
The room's layout - bed, space, yuge bathroom, closets, room safe, fridge... perfect.
The parking valet, bell staff and counter staff were on their game and made our entrance and getaway as easy as it can be.
We will be back! Thanks Eden Roc.
Cons: Canceled reservation with one day's notice.
Pros: Relaxed pool environment
Cons: Service by staff was slow
Pros: The valet and restaurants service was ok.
Cons: It was dated. The sheets in the bed were torn up. The phone was dirty. The fridge was broken (found out about that after 200 in good spoiled ). There was some woman that I could only say was a pimp yelling and cursing on her cell phone. When we asked if she could be removed they told us that she brings them a lot of business and is there all of the time. The elevator was old and their food was disgusting. I would never even walk through that place again even after they renovate
Pros: Right next to Fountainbleu. On the beach. Solid amenities. Nice bar scene at night.
Cons: A little up from southbeach. Wish it was closer but you cant complain. Long walk to convenient stores
Pros: Overall very good experience. Excellent location and service.
Rooms are clean. Spa was lovely.
Cons: Upper pool is under construction and spa pool in bad need of renovation. The beach facing bar/ restuarant will also be a huge amenity when open (in the spring?) but I missed having a second food option onsite and ended up going next door.
Pros: Eden Roc's resort is nice. The private beach and pools are the best part of the hotel. Cabana restaurant was also good - but, they don't serve brunch and stop serving breakfast at 11am (a little early if you're on vacation). The food is a bit over priced as well. It's a good place to bring your family.
Cons: DONT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. WAIT UNTIL THEYVE FINISHED RENOVATING. The majority of the hotel is under construction. The entire lobby is closed off with white curtains due to the construction, leaving only the elevators and front desk assessable. The set-up makes the hotel dark and depressing. The decor is outdated. The staff at the front desk was not friendly at all. Most of all, the rooms in the main tower are NOT what you will expect them in a resort. We stayed in a deluxe king room and it was tiny! The view was terrible! If you're going to stay here you have to stay in the ocean view tower and don't be afraid to pay for the best rooms available: only then will your stay be worth your buck.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, courteous and accomodating, food and drinks were delicious. The beds were so comfortable that I did not want to get up. The convenient access to the beach was great, as well as the beach chair amenity, twas welcomed! Due to the inconveniences my sister, cousins and I were given complimentary tickets for drinks and breakfast.
Cons: Some staff were not truthful when faced with conflicting situations, which led to a lot of unwanted and unnessary aggravation, and wasted time. A lot of renovation was, and still is taking place, which also added to 2 of 4 elevators being unaccessible. Thus waiting for the elevator was a task. And getting on the elevator was another task, then getting to your room or the lobby was another task in itself. Had I known about the renovation that I was not told about, I would have booked another hotel. The room was not a replica of the luxurious room that was pictured. The refrigerator was not working, thank God I did not have my kids with me.
Cons: Renovations were taking place during my stay. It was extremely loud. Difficult to enjoy my room or time at the pool.
Cons: The only issue was all the construction we were NOT warned about!!
Located on Collins Avenue, this oceanfront high-rise in the heart of Miami Beach, is 11 miles from the airport, 2 miles from the Miami Beach Convention Center and 5 miles from South Beach.
Cons: Memorabilia from Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr
Pros: It was nice being on the beach. The pool area is beautiful.
Cons: The rooms are dated. No recent upgrades.
Cleanliness is questionable. Everything is super expensive on the property. $12 for a ginger ale, $10 for a bottle of water, and $30 for an alcoholic beverage on the beach.
Doesn't make sense when you are supplied with the most generic soap, shampoo, and conditioner in your room. Nothing is beautiful in the actual hotel rooms. Only the amenities, restaurants, lobby, and pool areas are aesthetically Pleasing. I will not stay there ever again.
Pros: Everything you needed was at the hotel
Cons: The beds were very uncomfortable making it hard for me to enjoy my stay there. with the money you pay for the hotel the beds should be comfortable, giving you an at home feeling. The suite rooms we were in smelled very old
Pros: Location was excellent. The staff was very welcoming and incredibly helpful. The buildings are beautiful and everything was easy to use and easy to navigate. Overall the best hotel experience by far!
Cons: N/A-Very impressed with everything!
Pros: The hotel is clean and the rooms are comfortable
Cons: The staff is unfriendly and rude. They constantly remind you of what you "can" or "cannot" do as if you are in an airport. They have an extremely poor customer service as a whole. I travel to
Miami quite often and there are plenty of other 5-star hotels on Miami Beach that in my opinion have better customer service and are not filled with juvenile delinquent guests.
Pros: Stayed in the Chateau tower which was better than Versailles.
Cons: It's a bit north of South Beach but not too bad.
Pros: Location, room ,restorants,everything
Cons: Fees for beech furniture rent
Pros: Pool and spa nicely designed
Cons: Got there and found there were nerds and lipstick on the carpet as well as a big wet mark. I called front desk to see if the room had been cleaned and they said they didn't known but they could connect me to house keeping to see if I could get someone to come clean it. I said "can't you do that" she just said would u like me to give you house keeping number or not. Then on Kayak it soecifically says on some options "no breakfast w this deal" so I picked the higher price option bc it did not say that. I get to hotel and they tell me
Breakfast is not included. Then I try to go to spa and they charge me more money even after I showed them
My Kayak reservstion says spa included. Later that night I come back to the room to find it was never cleaned. I wouldn't even have complained about any of this had I not paid over $400 for the one night I stayed here.
Pros: The property is amazing! The pools are great - got a little crowded on the long weekend - but very enjoyable. We had an oceanfront room and the views were breathtaking.
The beach access was really good and you got free beach chairs.
Its a little away from south beach and all the shops and restaurants - but we knew that going in.
Room service was not up to par - they routinely forgot to replenish our coffee/ sugar.
Cons: The food was just OK - and the price for food and drinks was exorbitant.
Valet only parking and it was $45 per day!!
Cons: The pool is closed very early
Pros: Amazing hotel. A little bit of a struggle to get a pool chair in the morning, but the room and views were spectacular
Cons: A little far from all the excitement in south beach
Pros: Beautiful hotel
great night life

Participation allows guests to tailor experiences to their own desires. Technology encourages guests to share unique memories and create a perpetual experience.
Pros: Amazing infinity pool. Hotel is on the Beautiful beach with two chairs and towels included per room.
Cons: Hard to sleep due to people partying. Good part the hotel doesn't tolerate . Security is ready to help.
Pros: Food, room, location, beach, pool...all were excellent.
Pros: I loved the exceptional customer service, Natalya was amazing. Customer service makes or breaks a vacation and the national definitely made it.
Cons: Didn't like that our room was on the stairway but it worked out because we had loud music and we didn't disturb the neighbors.
Pros: Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Awesome location. Very clean and great decor.
Cons: Air broke 2 nights terrible service terrible crowd and the TV was broken my whole stay. Everyday is have to complain about it and nothing was done. When I asked for at least a night or 2 free because of the inconvenience I was denied
Pros: It's nice to be in the middle of everything yet there is not a scene at this boutique hotel. Rather it is mellow and elegant.
Cons: No ice machine and restrictions from bringing on outside food and drink
Pros: Great location, architecture, and a clean room. The beach out back was beautiful and servers at the bar out back were great.
Cons: There was a party there that didn't stop until 1am. Carpet wasn't laid correctly and had many humps to trip you up sometimes. Bed was on a wooden box frame with sharp corners that stuck out far enough to leave a few marks on your shins.
Pros: The location, easy to get to the beach
Cons: One of the pools were being reconstructed, but there wasn't a notice about it anywhere on the site. Should've gave guest a discount. Very disappointed
Pros: We had a great stay till the end when they overcharged my card and a week later they are still holding the money.
Cons: Jessica the Reservations Manager is rude and unprofessional.
Very pricey and on top of that they hold over $400 you never spent on your card..RIDICULOUS!
Pros: It was incredible. The hotel is beautiful with an amazing pool and beach. The staff is friendly and provide wonderful service. I would stay again at the National without a doubt.
Pros: We loved the pool and beach access at the hotel. The outside staff was amazing and super helpful. The $19 a day charge for pool/beach service was WELL worth the money spent.
Cons: The first 2 rooms they tried to put us in were IN the stairwell. We read reviews that the hotel will put people in those rooms. It was VERY frustrating but they did end up moving us to a normal room on the 3rd trip down to the front desk.
Pros: Great access to beach, beautiful pool area.
Cons: It took 50 min to get my car. I was told it was because of "shift change". I asked for the manager to call but they never did.
Unreliable Internet. I was unable to connect.

Pros: The best hotel a block from the beach with great accommodations and value.
Cons: The elevator was extremely slow
Pros: It was literally a dream, best hotel experience yet!
Cons: Nothing! I wish I could've stayed longer
Pros: the hotel is really nice and staff work hard to make your stay awesome
Cons: The elevator on my floor was in and out of service about three or four times during the three day stay , it just made it difficult to get to and from the rooftop pool ... And the room service food portions are small based on the amount charged, and the person taking the order seemed to have a bit of a attitude one night
Pros: great location. rooftop pool is great.
Cons: delux room?! not so sure we got one. f
Cons: Pool closed at 9
Pros: there was an incredible rooftop pool party. Nunlike I've ever seen before. DJ's best in the world.
Cons: The only thing that I didn't like. Was that I had to leave!
Pros: Great location, very comfortable stay. Everything was within walking distance -- food, shops, and of course the beach. Staff was super nice and helpful. Worth the $!
Pros: Great location to get straight to the beach. Walking distance to Lincoln Rd, Washington Ave and Ocean Dr!
Pros: Location is great! Price was fair.
Cons: Rooms are small and walls are thin. Room service also lacks a bit.
Pros: Decor and bed
Cons: So noisy ...thin paper walls and doors.. No sleep at all. They also gave me wrong information for parking
This family-friendly Miami Beach hotel is located on the Strip, within a 5-minute walk of Miami Beach Cinematheque and Art Deco Welcome Center. Lummus Park Beach and Lincoln Road Mall are also within 1 mi (2 km).
Pros: The hotel was renovated and very clean. Great location within blocks of the beach and eating establishments. Pool area was very nice.
Cons: Bathrooms were small and not any drawers to put things up.
Located 4.1 mi (6.6 km) from the airport, Washington Park Hotel offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Art Deco Welcome Center and Lummus Park Beach. You can visit the fitness center for a workout or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. An outdoor pool and a garden are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer up nice touches like MP3 docks and premium bedding.
Pros: We just stayed overnight, and arrived very late. Front lobby was open late (great!) and check-in easy. Valet accessible right in front (great!) Clean, fluffy linens (great!) Hotel not noisy (great!). Staff very helpful (great!) And, you're right on South Beach (great!). Didn't get to the pool, but it looked nice from the window in the dark (oh, well).
Cons: Old elevator is cool, but some instructions for those of us not born in 1855 always appreciated. Valet parking $35 a day, but hey, it's Miami, and we didn't helicopter in. Typical narrow room/layout for the 1920's. They do a good job with space saving, though. Doesn't bother me, but might bother some. Also, the hotel front is easy to miss at midnight. We drove right by it, and we weren't inebriated.
Pros: Very clean, friendly staff, great food and comfortable accommodations. All around a great experience.
Cons: Pool was small but nice
Pros: perfect location, quiet even close to ocean drive ( a good quietness policy to sign at check in), nice little pool

Pros: For a hotel right on Miami Beach, the Riu was surprisingly quiet.
Cons: The bathroom didn't really have a door, just a frosted glass window that didn't totally close. Even though it was just me and my wife, the lack of privacy was weird. The room was definitely a little grungy, and smelled musty.
Pros: Beautiful place
Cons: Expensive parking, if you staying in the hotel the parking shouldn't be so expensive
Pros: Good Location and Beach access.
Cons: The hotel is a bit older and there is too much construction going on in the building next to and across the street.
This Miami Beach resort is 8 miles from downtown and the Port of Miami, and within 2 miles of Lincoln Road, the Art Deco District, and Miami Beach Convention Center.
Pros: excellent , the host very friendly , excellent Barman and drinks
Pros: The staff was grade a. Everyone was so nice and friendly it was a blast. The people who stayed were polite. The location was bomb 10/10
Pros: Me and a group of friends went for my bday. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice happy hour.
Cons: I can honestly say I had no complaints.
Pros: An efficiently run system. As comfortable as can be expected when in an eight-bed dorm situation. Amazingly convenient to beaches, night-life, public transportation. Without doubt the best way for a solo traveler on a limited budget.
Cons: Dirty restrooms
Cons: Front desk was rude. Reservation in their system didn't match what I booked online and they wouldn't honor it even when I showed the reservation details. Charged my card for the night and refused to refund money.
Beds n' Drinks Hostel is just 4.8 mi (7.7 km) from the airport and offers a shuttle (available 24 hours) for USD 35 per vehicle roundtrip. You can visit the outdoor tennis court for a workout or unwind with a drink at one of the 2 bars/lounges. Other highlights at this Art Deco hostel include a terrace and a garden.
Pros: Comfortable beds, clean rooms, the lobby is nicely decorated. Very close to the beach and walkable to most of south beach
Cons: The hallways are smelly, the hotel is noisy and the bathrooms are small
Pros: The room was neat, clean, and modern. The welcome drink was a nice touch as well as the waffles supplied during breakfast.
Cons: My room was located in adjacent tower and there was construction/repairs of some sort in the building during my stay; therefore, there was dust and debris in the halls.
Cons: En el check in cobran tarifa adicional a la pagada por personal, eso no me gusto. El resto todo bien
Pros: Staff was very friendly, rain shower was nice. Continental breakfast was good, more options than I expected. The location was perfect for walking to Espanola street, Ocean Avenue, the beach, and even to Lincoln Mall.
Cons: Even with the AC running, it was hot in our room on the fourth floor during the day. Bed sheets had a weird stain on them. Hallway smelled strongly of marijuana.
Pros: location and staff were good.
Cons: walls paper thin, heard partying ALL night in hallway and nearby rooms.
overwhelming cleaning agent smell, no water pressure in shower.
TV had snowy pic, no local stations.
big ugly stains on wall used as a headboard.
Pros: The staff was great,. Especially Nuremise. She made the morning coffee run to the lobby very enjoyable and easy.
Cons: Bathroom had no shelf space and not enough hooks. This is an easy fix that should be dealt with quickly.
Pros: Location very good, value for money, friendly staff, quirky fun room.
This centrally located South Beach classic Art Deco hotel is 1 block from the boardwalk and ocean, 4 blocks from trendy Lincoln Road, and within a half-mile of the convention center.
Pros: I had a wonderful time at this hotel. There are two pools and a jacuzzi. Great vibes!
Pros: I liked the smell of the lobby and it brought back memories for me when this was one of the coolest spots to stay in Miami Beach. It has definitely lost that X factor.
Cons: Everything feels dingy and not kept up. Checking in was the longest process I have ever been through aNd the girl seemed nervous. Maybe she was new, but it was over and over the same information and had multiple cards for all kinds of things, unlike any check in experience I have had before. Seems like they get stiffed by other guests a lot before. The security are constantly checking if you are staying there and annoying...definitely have decided to hire less than personable staff in general. One of the front desk girls when handing me the final bill, held it out to me without looking at me as if passing on to the next task, CUSTOMER SERVICE 101! Treat each guest as if they are the only person in your world at that moment and look them in the eye with a smile. In general, the whole world has lost this touch, but you would think a 300 a night hotel would still care about this. Finally made it to the beach chair area after being asked twice to show room key by security and then the beach chair guy wanted me to walk all the way back to his booth to check in instead of just taking care of me at my chair. When I refused and told him to take care of it, he kept calling me boss in a derogatory way like I was asking too much. Hire people that care and understand that the only reason they have a job is because of people like me choosing your hotel!! This is standard and not asking too much. I should have great things to say because they did all of this basic stuff and then decided to do more!! They all need help on how to treat guests. There was a blood stain on newly replaced linen in my room. They did an okay job of responding but it should have never happened!!! They only took off the resort fee and $50 and then didn't do it! Had to remind the people upon checkout and they acted like I was lying to them. The valet brought my car when I asked and left it in the rain and not under the overhang!!! What?!! When I asked him to bring it out of the rain his reply was that they were too busy and slapped me on the shoulder like I was his friend and gave me a dirty look like I was asking too much. hahaha I will never again recommend this hotel to anyone as I always have in the past. I'M GOING BACK TO AIRBNB WHEN I TRAVEL NOW. HOTELS LIKE THIS ARE COMMON NOW.
Shows very poorly, everything seems worn and in need of replacement
Pros: Everything. Location, access, food, the pool, music, rooms, and excellent staff customer service (kudos to Laura, Sofie, DJ, and Gary). Thank you!
Cons: Our building was getting ready for shut down for renovations, wish we knew about it in advance but not a big deal, just a matter of optionality for rooms and extended stay.
Cons: Old bed , not comfortable
Pros: It location is great and the beach is lovely right out front. The rooms are tired and need a refresh.
Cons: The check in process was strange. We were told that they were sold out of the room category and we would be upgraded for one night and then had to move. We went back the next day and since I guess we were prepaid they tried to give us a handicapped room and was told this was the only one available. We had an argument with front desk manage Sandra and after three tries we got a room overlooking the parking lot that was acceptable.
Pros: All around great staff
Cons: Rooms are in need of a facelift. subpar wedding DJ's at the pool, bring earplugs. Sloppy Sunday crowd.
Pros: The resturants. delicious food.
Cons: The service at the pool wasn't great could be a lot better.
Pros: Great location, nice pool, good restaurants, fun/clubby scene
Cons: Rooms were a bit dated. I had a pool side bungalow (#1) and the downstairs was just wasted space. Didn't even have a couch!
Shore Club is located just steps from the excitement and shopping of the Art Deco District, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive and the convention center.
Cons: 2 domestic bottle beers $20.00 and they automatically charged gratuity of $3.00 to take the tops off the bottles. Ate at the curbside restaurant in front of the hotel. I had bacon, scrambled eggs and oatmeal and my wife had salmon omelette and we both had a beer and the bill was $85.00 I live in Vegas and those are higher than Bellagio prices and Bellagio is a palace fit for a king compared to this place.
Pros: The staff was wonderful and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch, as well as the beach chairs and towels. The location is perfect.
Cons: The only thing we could think of was the bathroom door in our room - it was made of lightly frosted glass that left little to the imagination when anyone was using it!
Beacon South Beach Hotel is located in the very heart of South Beach, just steps away from all the entertainment that Miami Beach is famous for. Although we are famous for several things like sunbathing, dining, and shopping, South Beach is synonymous with nightlife. From the poshest clubs to the most unique bars, there's a place for every taste and occasion.
Cons: Uncomfortable beds. Not enough showers or bathrooms. Room was over their bar, so it was very loud. Dirty.
Pros: My first experience staying in a hostel ever...it was so much fun with super friendly staff, close location to the beach, fun planned events and convenient shuttle service to the airport. It was great partying with random people from all over the country and the world. I am so happy I decided to stay here and I hope to come back soon to the South Beach Hostel!
Cons: A little cramped, but really not much to complain!
Located in South Beach, this hostel is within a 15-minute walk of Miami Beach Marina, Lummus Park Beach, and Art Deco Welcome Center. Lincoln Road Mall is 1.4 mi (2.2 km) away.
Cons: The rooms have no privacy, everything that happens in the other rooms can be heard. and the main thing is NOT a place for children, children are not welcome. They hate children in that hotel.
Pros: Great location. A short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping
Cons: Got there at about 8 pm. They had one guy checking people in, parking cars, everything. No cleanliness problems in our room but our neighbors said they had issues with that
Pros: The location right next to the beach and friendly staff.
Cons: The weird smell within the room and the hallway.
Pros: I liked the atmosphere and decorations/theming and the pleasant staff. The bathroom, towels, and linens were very clean and fresh.
Cons: Being South Beach on a weekend, there can be some rowdy guests/patrons coming in and out of the hotel late at night.
Cons: Hot during the day and the beds were not comfortable also had to ask for towels
We really enjoyed the hotel reading the reviews of others before we reserved, there seemed to be two camps that suggested to us that it was idiosyncratic in a way that irked some but delighted others. We took a chance and found it delightfully quirky the lobby and corridors are decorated with all sorts of stuff, sometimes slightly random in a kindergarten kind of way, but somehow it worked for us. The rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable and the A/C worked well. Noise was no more than a background sounds of the city. Our only beef was the low-flush toilet that didnt always remove all the paper from the bowl and smelt a little (despite the normal daily cleanings). The shower was good with plenty of hot water. The location is perfect for exploring the Deco region of Miami Beach and close to the shops and restaurants of the Lincoln Street Mall and just a 5 min walk to the beach. Parking is a bit of an issue. There is indeed free parking but there was not enough for all the guests with cars when we were there. Two nights we came back and it was full so we had to park around the corner in a municipal multistory lot the rate was $20/24hours we paid I think $15 each time still a lot less than a major hotel per night. The parking lot itself is basically a wide driveway that takes three columns of cars up to about 20 or so. This means you need to budget time for the staff to shuffle the cars to dig yours out when you need it. We were right at the back of the building and the WiFi didnt quite reach in the lobby it was fast and easy to connect. Wed definitely make a return visit if we stayed in Miami Beach again.
Pros: The quirky charm of the building. The staff, who were all super friendly and helpful. The location, which is great for access to the beach and many restaurants/shops of interest.
Cons: The room toilet seems is a curious low volume flush design that didn't always get rid of all paper. It also smelt a little. The free parking does not quite enough for all the rooms so we had to park in a nearby lot for two of our nights ($20/24hr).
This is the most expensive one among my 20 days tour in FL, but it is the most disappointing one.
Pros: Decoration is nice. It costs only 5 to 10 minutes to the beach by walk.
Cons: The facilities are old. Air in room smells really bad. There is no sunlight and scene.
Pros: location and price
Cons: old, dirty, run-down, needs major updating
Cons: loud and unable to sleep due to numerous loud and waking noises.
