Very luxurious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially the management. When things went wrong, they were accommodating to benefit me for the inconveniences. Upon checking in, they didn't have our room available until the next day. Not sure how that even happens, but after talking to the manager, he miraculously was able to get our room. I had an allergic reaction to the laundry detergent they use on the bed sheets and my eyes swelled up. I was told that if you have allergies, you need to call in advance to make sure they wash the bedding with hyper-allergenic detergent (they normally use Dawn). For the inconveniences, they did comp me my room service.

The staff was both professional and warm. The room was immaculate, the view breathtaking, and the beds are phenomenally comfortable. A truly memorable stay. If you are looking for something sleek and modern this is not your hotel. Food and drinks in the hotel itself are not good value, especially given the wealth of foodie options in SF.
Location Parking at $65 a nite is outrageous There were no blankets in the room so I asked for some they came an hour later. I had to call 3 times to get service. Wifi was $14 a day not free. Coffee in the room was poor. U would think they could provide quality coffee. Paper was delivered to some rooms but not ours

I originally was trying to book this hotel via the QANTAS website however they had problems, so I rang the hotel direct and they were most helpful. Not only did they book me in, but they beat the original price and converted it for me to $AUD for my small brain. I drove to SFO from LAX - on arrival bell hop service was excellent, didn't miss any bags or jackets that were in my car. Stayed in the main building - Fairmont Queen room Clean and tidy Free WiFi BathTub Excellent staff Late checkout Food selection and room service Tonga room is a must see Location very central to anywhere you'd like to be in SFO The main building although grand, is a little dated. The refurbished rooms are good, but the particular room I was in the door didn't fully open because the wall gets in the way, so for room service the trolley couldn't be wheeled in, food had to be carried in from the door, and there wasn't really any table to put the food on, only the writing desk or the fold out mini bar. I had to call for slippers

The staff was awesome and we used the regency club for the first time. Glad we upgraded for it because we loved it! Overall a great stay! For the price that you pay, the gym should should have a more equipment.
The location couldn't be more convenient, just steps away from the Embarcadero BART station, and very close to everything off of Market and the Embarcadero. The hotel itself is large and strangely appointed in some ways in the lobby (huge sculptures, dated music, pods of work or social spaces set out in the midst of an overwhelming visual scale reminiscent of Soviet architecture). That said, the staff was so welcoming and pleasant, and the rooms are clean, new, and quite comfortable. I did not try room service, but everything I experienced was worth the very affordable rate. I'll be back.
Excellent location with great facilities in this hotel. It's really easy to travel to other famous sightseeings and restaurants in this area are really good. A little bit noise whether stay in high floor or in low floor, and the bathroom is too small for a 4 star hotel.

Downtown you're close to everything and the hotel view was amazing. You're still downtown, so you walk out and it's a lot of homeless and the streets smell of urine, bad. The hotel staff is in no hurry for anything. Toom service took 1.5-2 hours and we even had a package delivered and they never bothered to bring it up. After three hours we told them forget it we'll get it ourselves. Cleaning staff is super nice. They were doing construction there so don't bother trying to nap during the day, because they were jack hammering the lobby. For the money I think there's better.
The hotel atrium remains spectacular. Great location in financial district, overlooking the bay, a walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf, but be aware that many restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate vicinity of the hotel are closed on Sunday. Bathrooms are small and outdated. Overnight parking is $34.00.
The lobby area inside us very beautiful, yet it's not that unique anymore compare to some of the newer hotels. Location is very good, right access from ferry building and many good restaurants. Room needs renovation. Restroom is small, couldn't find light switch when we get in the room. Booked king bed room and was given a double bed room, staff told us nothing they could do. They did give us some credit but only end up buying some water, because there is none in the room.

Needed spa after some gruelling walks (need to be fit to get around) or simply jump on cable cars outside hotel ;). Although We found city pricy, hotel food offerings were excessive to say the least (no room service either?)Management has to know within walking distance are some great options for meals that are easier on your wallet.
The location is wonderful, the bed was good No one answered the valet parking phone three days in a row. No room service. A beer glass sat in the hallway for two days without being picked up. Kitschy "hipster" feel.

Jeffery was a great bartender showing professionalism with an intoxicated female needing assistance at the bar Urban tax fee is a shady charge that was not explained at check in, The fee is for bike rental and internet, yet the Wi fi was listed as free and you would be insane to ride a bike down the hills. I had to argue to get it removed.
I liked the lady at check in helping resolve an issue with billing. Somehow, the hotel reservations people decided I should pay for an extra night when I had cancelled that night the previous week. The lady at check in was very helpful and was able to resolve the issue, but I was disappointed I had the issue in the first place. It was not clear to me why this happened. The room was nice - but quite expensive in my opinion.

Location Mandatory "urban bundle fee" of $20+ per night, even if you don't use or want the services. Housekeeping was bad -- there was a half full highball glass in the hallway outside our room for our entire stay. When we arrived on a December evening the room temperature was set to 54 degrees with cold air blasting in. Overall not a friendly or welcoming environment, unfortunately.

Steve, one of the staff members, was very friendly and helpful. Aside from that, nothing. Nearly everything. The rest of the staff seemed unimpressed with the hotel themselves and in fact mocked the hotel for intentionally using "false advertising" to lure customers into staying there. Upon arriving we received a "complimentary upgrade," which off the batt seemed wonderful, but once we entered the room we were appalled; we couldn't even imagine what our original room would have looked like. When I called down to complain about the striking difference from the pictures on the website the woman at the front desk replied that what I saw online was called "photoshop." The room was spacious, but empty; there was no headboard, safe or amenities. The hotel offered nothing, but rooms and was not the kind of place you looked forward to returning to at the end of a long day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I would never return myself. For a couple hundred dollars more I could have stayed at the nicest hotel in San Francisco. This hardly ranks with the top hotels in the city, despite its high prices and false four star advertising online.
GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, EVERYONE IN THE LOBBY WAS VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. HOTEL WAS CLEAN, AND PROVIDES A FRESH SMELL AS YOU WALK IN. I LOVED THE WATER BOTTLES TO GET PURIFIED WATER AS YOU WALK IN OR LEAVE.
Stanford Court hotel was in a terrific location. Cable car intersection right out the front door was super cool. The lobby and bar were upscale and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a boutique hotel in San fransisco. The room size was a little small for the money, and you could hear everything from the hallway and surrounding rooms.
While the yellow carpet in the halls is a bit dated and worn, the rest of the Stanford court is updated, quirky, and fun. The staff is great, and the location is only half a block from the top of nob hill. Great weekend escape.

Great location for a "staycation." We live in SF, and spent the night downtown. First dinner, then movie (at Embarcadero Cinema), then a stroll to the Ferry Building. All this within about three blocks. When we arrived, we were given a free upgrade to a slightly larger room (maybe it was a slow Friday night, but they didn't have to have done this). The room and bed were comfortable, although the TV was a bit on the small size (not tiny, just not huge). The room had plenty of room for the two of us, and the queen bed fit our two larger frames nicely. The "Living Room" on the lobby level was quite comfortable, with free espresso drinks and computers available. Free wifi throughout the hotel. We didn't try the restaurant, but there is a Starbucks on the corner (two doors down) that opens quite early, so we had a nice breakfast and coffee there. We enjoyed our stay, and thought the price was great for a downtown SF hotel room. Our only complaint was that the window was dirty. It looked like some cleaning had gone on above us, and the soap/water had streaked our window.

I liked the automated quick check-in process. The room key must also be swiped in the elevator for extra security. The hotel has wired and wireless internet access, flat panel tv/monitor, refrigerator and microwave. At 3:00 a.m. on the first night of my stay, the fire alarm sounded and the entire hotel was forced to evacuate. It was caused by one hotel guest who burnt some bacon in the microwave. I also would have liked a bathtub instead of just a shower.

We liked the location the most, right at the corner of Union square and a block away from Chinatown, the Hop on/Hop off bus had a few stops around Union square. The staff was always friendly, the fruit and water we received upon arrival and the turn down service every night are also nice touches. Housekeeping was attentive. Upon arrival our room didn't smell really fresh, but couldn't say it was dirty. The windows can be opened however, so you can let fresh air in. The closet space is really small, but we didn't mind taking the clothes out of our suitcases. We thought the room was quite small, but maybe that was because we just came from a hotel suite in Vegas. You could also hear all the street noise (windows closed) and the neighbours easily, it seems the walls are thin. When housekeeping knocked on the door of the room next to us, it sounded like they knocked on our door.
I loved how the hotel is located in a convenient area; we easily jumped on a cable car to Fishermans Wharf. The staff was professional and helpful. This hotel is a true 5 star luxury hotel. nothing. It was fantastic!

Because we booked through the AMEX Fine Hotels program, we were upgraded to room with a truly fantastic view of North Beach, the bay, and the Bay Bridge; we were comp'ed breakfasts; and we got 5 nights for the price of 4. The hotel is in the financial district, which is very quiet on weekends.

Accommodating staff, comfortable bed and great location. A short walk to the ferry terminal and Montgomery BART station. Windows are thin - the clang of the trolley bell was clearly audible despite the fact the our window faced Montgomery, not California Street (where the trolley runs).
Hotel was clean and staff was super friendly. They all were super helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were very quiet and the restaurant in the hotel was very delicious!

Very nice hotel, probably standard for this class, the Omni was well situated for easy access to Chinatown, the financial district and not too far from shopping and the waterfront. Staff were often helpful and politely friendly. I appreciated the advice from the doorman and concierge. I don't much care for being charged for in room wif and a better front desk experience would improve my rating.
We were in town for the marathon and it was a fantastic base for our adventures. They allowed us to check in early when we arrived in town. They let us check out late so we could shower after the race! The staff were kind, friendly, and very accommodating. It was within walking distance of everything we needed and easy access to public transit. Don't forget to sign up for the loyalty program!

We came from the Embarcadero BART/Muni Station on Market Street which was a very comfortable walk. Arrived about an hour before check-in time and received a room right away. Front desk was backed with a line for awhile. Had a high floor on first stay and liked it much better than the lower floor this time. Room and features are good. Large screen TV nice! Restaurant on the third floor is very good. Arthur is a great waiter; ask him where is from. BATH ROOM DOOR IS A JOKE!. It is very heavy and slides open like an old barn door. It is impossible to use the facilities in the middle of the night without making noise that awakens spouse. Bed was firm but comfortable. Would prefer a top sheet instead of just the covered comforter. Towels were nothing to shout about.

The location and the comfort of the beds were great. There were a few things that could be improved upon: 1. There were union protesters outside of the hotel before 7 AM each day with megaphones, and each day, it took over an hour for the police to come by to put a stop to the noise-making. The hotel could at the very least have provided earplugs. 2. The rooms, while clean, look a bit dated and dark. 3. There were not enough reception staff to handle the flow of guests, leading to long wait times.
The beds were extremely comfortable and the location was nice. On November 20th, my girlfriend and I decided to take a weekend trip to San Francisco and stayed at Le Meridien. Upon arrival, the parking situation threw us for a loop as we drove into their structure that apparently is no longer in service. Frustrating, but we eventually figured it out. The hotel itself was nice and the first night sleep was great! Nice views of the all buildings, super comfy bed and overall very spacious. The second night however...very different story. We came back to our room(2103) around midnight from a great night out. We could hear the people next to us in the Sydney Cove Suite(2104) who had a few guests over. They were a little noisy but it didn't bother us at the time. Around 230AM, I was woken up to "extra curricular activities"....(Wink wink cough cough). Okay...just a couple enjoying their night together like any other couple would...we all do it, no big deal. But this wasn't normal (we very quickly realized there were more than 2 people still in that room...) and it happened again and again and again...and again.Precisely that many times until 530AM!! Not only were they blasting their music still, but the walls were so thin, we could hear EVERYTHING. Very disturbing and very disgusting. After the first hour and a half trying to block out the sounds (which was impossible) we called the front desk who initially was less than helpful. The first call we asked to have someone come up to ask them to please be quiet. No one ever came. We called back again about 20 minutes later and asked if anyone was coming. The man at the front desk said they had sent security who heard nothing from any room, which we did not believe. Our neighbors hadn't stopped since the first call downstairs and was still happening WHILE we were on the phone during the 2nd call! At that point we were very direct about what was going on/what we were hearing in that room and they immediately called the guests. Finally around 530--sweet silence. We notified the woman at the front desk when checking out who was very apologetic about the situation. It really is a shame that we had such a disturbing second night. The hotel really is nice and very comfortable hence the 3 "stars", but the walls make it seem like you are in the same room with your neighbors. I'm not sure that we would come back after the night we had.

Galleria Park staff were friendly, welcoming, and accomodating. The room was bright, clean, and comfortable. The staff did get a little frazzled at the front desk with the large volume of guests for the weekend. There was only one HDMI cable available for the entire hotel and it was taken for the duration of my stay.

For a downtown located hotel, the room was surprisingly large. It was clean and well furnished. The noise from street was tolerable. I appreciated the free wifi which worked ok most of the time. Staff was friendly and location is close to everything in SFO. The price seems to be steep but I guess that's typical of SFO. People affected by street noise may not like it.

Easy check in, short walk to shopping, restaurants and city life, fairly clean, good service, nice staff. It wasn't worth the "discount rate" of $129. It was a basic room with no bells and whistles.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too--personally I was hoping for stuff like pancakes and eggs. The hotel breakfast was mostly just bread, fruit, and cereal. But it was all really good, so even though it wasn't exactly what I wanted I couldn't complain. Nothing really. Good all around.

Hotel's location is very convenient since it is just two blocks ahead union square. The complimentary wi-fi internet was not available most time in the hotel room due to very poor speed, although it was declared as wi-fi free hotel. Not a big deal but it was a bit noisy at nights because of cable cars.

I also did not like getting fraudulently charged for food I did not order nor a long distance phone call on a room phone that did not work. I will not be booking with either Hilton or Kayak in the future.

The view is the only thing we enjoyed. Horrible customer service. My fiancé and I were treated very poorly and when I talked to the manager Jeff, he was very apathetic. We asked for 2 bowls from Jeff later on and they never came. I had to go down to the front desk to grab the bowls myself. We also needed assistance with the television and no one ever came to help. If you are looking for a place where you are ignored and treated poorly for $200 plus a night then is your place. I am astounded that a place like the Hilton could hire such an awful manager as Jeff.

The location was convenient, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. For such an expensive stay, there were few amenities. Traveling with an infant, it was very inconvenient not to have a fridge or microwave in the room. We ended up ordering a bottle warmer from Amazon Now because there was no other way to warm his bottle. Also, the internet connectivity was poor. The parking fee was very high. .

I always received a warm smile and greeting when I stepped through the door from the security guard (who would open the door too!) and the front desk employees. They really made me feel comfortable. Coming from the east coast to west coast, it makes the transition that much easier. The security guard even offered to help me walk to the store due to the late hour in case I was nervous. I was very safe in my solo adventure - no need to fear the neighborhood. Fun location, incredible hotel, outstanding service. A must stay!

Friendly and helpful staff, decent room size and close to the Chinatown entrance gate at Grand Street. The room was clean ( didn`t trust the carpet though ). The carpet in our room needs a replacement. We have been hold up by the night porter singing far to loud at this time of day when we left in the morning at 05:45.

Rooms felt spacious, beds were super comfortable and had a very refreshing feel to them Had breakfast only in their restaurants. Choice of items very good, quality good but much more attention needed to replenishing of items. Customer service was lacking in that they did not notice when you came to restaurants, empty tables were either not cleared, or cleared tables did not have cutltery. This restaurant part of the hotel seemed like such a contrast to the excellent service received from Front Desk and housekeeping.

We came into our room and noticed that A) the door was not shit tight. And B) when we got in it smelled Like somebody had just taken an extended bathroom break. Which was awful. I immediately called customer service and though the guy was nice he was not able to get in touch with any managers. I was supposed to get a call the next day which I still hadn't heard from anybody till I was checking out. They called the manager for me. Who offered 50$ off which I still haven't seen on my credit card bill. Was a bit unfortunate really.
The location is excellent, it is right on union square with plenty of bus, cable car, walking and taxi opportunities. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, and the rooms are smallish but very comfortable, clean and have everything necessary. And it actually did include breakfast even though on the site, it said it would not include it in the rate. The hotel is a bit noisy, since it's right downtown, for us it wasn't a problem, but for people looking for a very quiet night's sleep, you may prefer somewhere a bit out of the city. The breakfast could improve a little bit, but we were not expecting breakfast at all according to the information on booking.com, therefore we were pleasantly surprised to have anything at all.
Really nicely done interior, nice bathroom, very friendly staff and an excellent breakfast buffet included in a great rate. It was all around fantastic. Dinner was phenomenal also. Highly recommended – I would come back any time.

Convenient location, bus stop just outside the front door, walking distance to train station, shopping, union square. Walgreen superstore on the next street. There are no airconditioners in the room - yes there are fans. There is no area to be dropped off with your baggage without stopping traffic.
Excellent staff, very helpful. Great location- 2 blocks from Union Square and right across the street from a bus line. When we checked in there was a dead bug on the bathroom floor. Still there 4 days later when we checked out. Not the best cleaning. Very tiny rooms and you need to be a giant to hang up your clothes in the closet.

Style and location of the hotel were excellent, especially being close to a moderately-priced public parking garage. We stayed on 2 separate nights at the beginning and end of our vacation, as we were traveling down to Big Sur and back. The first stay was quite nice, minus one of the concierges who was overly loud and also quite rude when I called down to ask if our room had been treated for bedbugs (we had seen stains on the corners that looked like bed bug waste; turns out they weren't). Our second night was in a similar room, but the windows were either single-paned or not sealed correctly: it was horrendously noisy. Probably not a huge problem on an average day, but it was Halloween night, so it was exceptionally loud. Also, the shower was missing several tiles and looks like it had been that way for awhile.
The room was neat and efficient, especially enjoyed the shower. Bartenders were knowledgeable, handsome, and professional.
The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was central, less than 5 minute walk to Union Square and local transport. Would stay again.
excellent location cleanliness was poor, it seems only bed is made during cleaning process, sink and toilet seemed not to be cleaned. not mentioned on the internet page hotel is still under renovation, so rooms and hallway full of dust. elevator really dirty. stuff not really helpful. at the moment i would not recomend this hotel.
The building is beautiful and welcoming, the staff is amazingly friendly, other guests were pleasant, breakfast was nice, bed was comfortable, I felt safe, windows open, fan in room, wonderful place!!! The fan in the bathroom didn't work, but they supplied me with a plug in fan to accommodate, not really that big of a deal.
