Very beautiful place, very stylish. There are tons of restaurants, shops and art pieces throughout the property. There's a night club Jewel there too. The concierges are super helpful. You can check in and out online. The hotel is situated well, can easily cross over to Cosmopolitan nearby. There's also a free tram, which can take you to Bellagio. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again sometime. The pools and the hot tubs hours are 9 to 5. I was at Aria for a conference and 9-5 is when its activities are taking place each day, which made it difficult for me to enjoy the pools and the hot tubs. Managed to do it just one day, when the conference activities finished an hour and a half earlier. We did have our conference's party by the pools, but I'm thinking not every day they must be using the pools area for private events...
Staff were awesome to deal with. Very friendly, from check in, cleaning staff, to check out! Nice hotel, and the food was great. I found the casino was smokier than others on the strip. As a non-smoker, I found this discouraging. And the walk from the strip was a bit of a pain.
Great customer service
Room amenities were excellent, the integrated technology made it an exciting new experience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom layout was also superb. The floor in the bathroom wasn't not clean to the 5 Star level. My wife drop her earring and I ran my hand across the floor to retrieve it and it came up completely covered in dirt and dust, would not expect this form a 5 Star rated resort.
Nice, but not 5 stars
everything but the wifi please up you wifi game!! It is one of the most important features!
Smoking in casino
Had a great coupon deal for one night at a wonderful, classy place. Sharp, professional, top-notch hotel!! The Casino floor was busy and there are a lot of hotel restaurant choices. My favorite experience was at check-in: when the line at mid-morning got a bit long, I watched a manager quickly find another six or eight staffers for registration and 'boom' the line was gone and I and others were taken care! Smoking in the casino, but that is everyplace in Las Vegas.
Aria has a great location on the Strip. Very convenient to check out Bellagio founrains, nightlife at Cosmo or just staying within rhe City Center confines. Its a bit smoky in the casino area but not any more than others.
Location is good Room is old! Not good view and the morning we were waiting for bell staffs for 20 min for leaving our stuffs.
Front desk staff (Heidi from Germany) was kind, genuine, and offered an upgraded room at no extra charge since the room I booked was sold out. Cute view, clean room, super comfortable bed and pillows. For a last minute booking, this was a great value for the price! I really don't give any credence to the negative reviews this property had; I typically stay at Grand Hyatt properties, and honestly was nervous after reading the reviews. All I can say is my room was great. Bed and pillows were super comfortable, easy checkin/checkout, everything was clean, and I liked the lighting. What the heck are people complaining about!!!! Could have used a coffee pot in the AM
Responsive customer service addressed concerns quickly. Convenient location on the Strip. Still felt expensive given what we got. First room smelled like sewage and had trash on the floor. We requested a room change. New room had a broken lamp, broken soap dish, not enough soap, and a toilet that would stick and keep running water. Blankets were very thin; we were cold at night and had to get an extra set of blankets. Wifi was spotty. Costs extra to get/use a mini fridge.
Ok value for the price. Strip is fun once you hit New York New York Smoking indoors is still legal there? Really? Disgusting lobby.
Since I was there on business, Wifi was VERY important to me and that feature was outstanding. It was easy to use and lots of bandwidth. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean and had an updated design, getting rid of the silly bathtub. Blinds didn't work and were partially open. Could not be closed completely or opened up complete. 2 notes to staff using the provided form on 2 days were ignored. Shower drained slowly ironing board was not put back. (2 days)
Room was comfortable Wifi was good for general browsing (did not test streaming) Wifi available throughout the building Buffet was cheaper than most Some nice restaurants Room cost was low Fast and Easy Checkout I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 PM and had to wait for nearly an hour while 3-4 groups in front of me checked in. The check-in process was cumbersome and the resort fee is ridiculous. The fee is just a way of showing a lower price on booking sites only to nail you when you get to the hotel. Food offerings in the hotel were sparse and expensive. I had to pay $10 for a hamburger (no fires, no drink) at the Johnny Rockets as this was the lowest cost option available. I will say this does seem to be a trend not only in this hotel but most others. Being in Las Vegas in general is like staying in an airport the entire time you are there, everything costs double what it would in the rest of the country. When I woke up the following morning I found that there was an ironing board but no iron. Outside of this minor inconvenience, no other issues with the room. The major complaint that I had regarding this hotel is location. In order to get to the monorail to get to other parts of the strip and downtown, you have to cross multiple bridges and go through the entire MGM grand casino which is a maze in and of itself. This, coupled with the fact that at any given time half the escalators going up and down these bridges made the trip every day to the monorail extremely inconvenient. When coming back one night, I was not even able to cross over one bridge and ended up having to backtrack all the way around New York New York to get there. While I do not blame the hotel for this shortcoming, it does create a difficulty for anyone travelling on business. When you consider the MGM grand average rate was $90 a night and my rate ended up being nearly $70 a night, it would be worth the extra money not to have to deal with this hassle and be in a much nicer hotel, casino, and shopping area.
It took over an hour to check in, had a bad experience with a bar tender gave a bad attitude because I sat down at the bar and I already had a beer in my hand which a waitress had brought me while I was playing.
The person who checked us into the hotel did not do our room keys right and do we had trouble the whole time getting in and out of the park lot and our room.
Great spot on the strip for great value It was just ok
Had a good time, nothing extravagant. it was a 3 star hotel at a 3 star price. I would stay at Excalibur again. The pool was closed during our stay in late December, which was an annoyance due to fact that access to the pool was a part Of my "resort fees". Also when I booked my room I read that parking would be free, which was completely false. Parking was $8 per day,$13 per day for valet.
Nothing Hair all over Tv didn't work And smelly
We enjoyed the convenience of being on the strip. Nice weight room, great shopping on site. Fun entertainment for the whole family. We enjoyed the food court options and Gane room. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Location Bathroom was horrible. The sink was clogged and the water pressure in the shower was too low to take a comfortable shower. Told the front desk but no one came to look at it.
The price was right the decor is a bit ourdated
Room was well appointedvand clean. Staff very nice and friendly. Great new morimoto restaurant. Casino air was pretty dank. Major partiers hauling in coolers 2 at a time.
We upgraged for the king spa suite, we received half mini bar empty and half can of sprite (someone drank it and put it back to the bar) they only give 1 shampoo, one soap and etc... but we were a couple! The hallway was always loud, doors shutting and screaming, i called and say on advanced its our honeymoom, expected a little more and unfortunately was really disappointed. The phones at the room are from the 50's. And the room wasnt real clean. Looks old, not enough lights. The hotel keys didn't work when I first arrived at the hotel and had dragged my stuff up to my room. When they didn't work I was pretty bummed, but the cleaning service who were nearby were kind enough to let me into the room and get in touch with the front desk for me. They were gracious and upgraded me without hesitation.
We arrived early in the am so our room wasn't ready, so they offered us an upgrade to a suite for a very reasonable rate, we took it. The room was very comfortable, and I liked having the extra space. Everything was clean, the temperature in the room was perfect, as I like to warm, and my husband likes it cool. (we traveled in Jan). I liked the convenience of the tram which stops at several hotels as you work your way north to the Stratosphere. I also enjoyed the spa, getting a massage and using the whirlpool and sauna too. The staff all around the hotel was incredibly friendly. I would stay at MGM again. What I missed was a clock, a coffee pot, and a refrigerator to put our leftover food in. You can't use the mini bar fridge for food or you get fined $50. You have to rent a separate fridge for $25 which I think is totally ridiculous.
It's in an amazing location close to everything. The restaurants are great and the shows are amazing. Also, the housekeeping staff were really nice and attentive. Some of the casino staff were extremely rude and condescending.
- Close to bus line - Central location - A/C unit constantly ran, even on AUTO!! - Smoke smell inside non-smoking room - Room very dark (WEST) - Inconsistent water heater - Vanity sink did not drain well - Overall, room did not seemed as "Fresh" as expected
Room service never came in day before we left. Ran out of toilet paper. Ice machine was broken. Told to go to another floor for some. Outlets on wall don't hold your plugs they fall out.
room was given away and no reservation. had to argue for 30mins to finally get a room at 3AM.
Our housekeeping lady really nice There casino employees were very rude and in a way racist
Nothing My reservation was never booked. I arrived there from a 6 hour flight and did not have a place to stay. I had to stay on the phone with Getmearoom.com for two hours. My daughter was tired. Had to go to another hotel. I will never use this web site or Kayak again. Worst experience of my life.
New York New York NY Hotel has been I go to place for Las Vegas for many years. Has a great location, decent food service within the complex, and a okay Casino. The property is simply getting tired... It's time to do the overhaul of the entire facility especially the rooms.. casino. I don't believe the furniture is been changed within the bedrooms and for many years.
Upsetting you have to pay for parking customer service very poor my deposit hasent been refunded yet I won't stay there again
Hotel was good. No micro oven and fridge in room
Overall layout and variety of restaurants was hreat
Bathroom faucet was broken and there was no coffee maker. Really loud at night.
The night clubs really rock. The restaurants are outstanding. Everyone was fantastic there. The shows and the clubs are edgy and not appropriate for kids. We went for our 25th anniversary and I was afraid perhaps I should have spent more. Wow, we had such a great time. It was the memory I was hoping to make. For the price, it is a great value!
I took my best friend for his birthday. We spent the night at the New York New York aND from checkin to check out it was awesome. The times square piano bar was where we ended our night singing at the top of our lungs and that was after eating some of the best pizza in Las Vegas! Also the rollercoaster is pretty awesome too. Worth the money. Obviously the smoke is a turn off but they allow smoking in all of the casino's there so that is hard to get away from. Also War yep good old fashioned higher card wins is a game they have there but some nights it is closed that sucked.
Didn't like the roller coaster view (patrons screaming). Light sleepers should request a room farther away from the roller coaster.
It was clean. The staff was very accommodating. I would stay there again. It's right on the strip and there's easy access to everything.
The hotel was outstanding, as usual. Clean and efficiently operated, the staff takes pride in this hotel. Make your hotel reservation at any website but Kayak. My choice for airline reservations, their partner group for hotel stuff---not so much A drink coupon with our room upgrade never materialized. The state of Nevada now mandates that parking along the strip costs 10 bucks a day, so plan to walk a lot. Casino is run by corporations that focus only on profit. Likely will opt for Indian casinos over any Nevada venue going forward. (Will still run to the Nevada border for ammo since I live in Cali.)
Hotel staff very accommodating. Good restaurants. Unavailability of MLife staffing and rude behavior when leaving. Always had discounts when checking out. No longer.
Linens, beds, and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a cool look. Rooms were dated and the roller coaster could be heard in the middle of the night in the room. There aren't many bars.....we had to choose between Mexican dancing and a piano bar where they were charging a cover, even for hotel guests.
The hotel was a very good place to stay, it was a little bit pricey for the quality of room we was in. The shows sold out too quick and the rooms were lacking.
No coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator.
Food and beverage extremely overpriced. Typical vegas.
Super long check-in lines Dirty towels No microwave No fridge The toilet didnt flush well You have to pay for parking even if you're a hotel guest. The parking lot is super far from the hotel There is not enough parking
all the Staff were so helpful in directing me to the right spot. Very friendly, even being so busy. Very clean rooms, great shower with lots of water pressure. Loved the deep bathtub ! The Buffet was wonderful, many choices of food and it was well stocked and kept very clean. We will definitely stay there again. No coffee maker, microwave or fridge in the room.
Hotel was adequate, but furnishings a bit worn and outdated. Needs self check in kiosk to speed up process - long check in lines result in poor first image...
After a very long drive, our room was ready and waiting for us. We were offered an upgrade, though I think that may have been because they ran out of rooms in the area we had booked. Very nice and accommodated my request for a non-connected room. We arrived to find that after so many years, parking is no longer complimentary. It seems not too many people are upset about that though, given how difficult it was for us to find a parking space. Everything one usually finds standard in a hotel room now must be rented here (i.e. a refrigerator).
I loved th athmosphere, not too much, not too little. Something for everyone. The place it's beautiful and a lot more interesting than the other ones. The tv channel selection wasn't much to brag about but I didn't really watch much tv. It sucked that it was rainy and cold so I couldn't really use the pool.
Decent location Shows on property Rooms are worn and in need of refresh Pervasive smell of smoke
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The heater/fan in the room did not work well and was extremely loud. My reservations were lost and while they located the reservation no one apologized to me or even talked to me. I was just told to wait which took over 10 minutes. The restaurants are ok at best. They are not hip or anywhere near other restaurants at other hotels.
friendly staff helpful staff pillows were too hard heater didn't work noisy
Our Monaco sweet was nice! When we first went to stay at Monte Carlo we had booked one of their "standard" upper level rooms. When we checked in I was very disappointed by the condition it was in. It was very old, didn't look like it had been updated since the 80's. Not very comfortable at all. We changed rooms and upgraded (for an extra $120!) but I feel it was worth it as the first room was bad. Tiles were falling off the wall and all of the wood furniture was chipped. They also added an extra charge of over $400 to my card when we checked in. It got resolved later but was still annoying to deal with.
It was on the strip access to alot of things liked the hotel lobby able to process my boarding pass at front desk Felt like I was staying in a red roof in overpriced for the room drab looking outdated wall paper it was peeling dirt in corners of the room shower leaked for hours after u turned it off not impressed but I loved las Vegas probably won't stay at the Monte Carlo again resort fees I don't understand on top of that they have the nerve to charge 3.60 cents per day tax really
The only thing that i liked was the check in and check out was really fast thats it.. Hotel room was terible the furniture was dirty dusty the windows were all the dirty the shower and the sink drains didn't work water stayed flooded and last they open our room with out our permission
location, easy to access just about everything.
Location Room was hot and musty. The furniture was old/dated. The pillows were awful. There was no power outlets available for mobility, phone, computer; so inconvenient for the business traveler. (minimally, the lights should have USB and power inputs by the bed for the high price I paid.) Also, no way to heat water for tea or coffee. Very disappointing.
Loved the tram to Crystals/Aria/Bellagio/Vdara, made life super easy! Our first room reeked of weed and cologne so we asked for a new room. Staff was accommodating, new room was handicap accessible with a broken bathroom door handle. It all worked out and it was a place to sleep, but we were unimpressed. The staff was helpful and friendly though.
The staff is very professional but they need more effort to keep happy the guest this is Vegas come on We are a couple celebrating our anniversary and we was listening music not that loud and I perfectly remember the time was 9:22 pm when the security knocks my door saying someone complained about the music come on this is Las Vegas and Also the floor on the restroom was so dirty they don't clean from the previous guests I have pictures to proved
large, clean room excellent dining options both within and nearby good pedestrian access to strip and nearby casinos/attractions bathroom fixtures a little tired, ready for a renovation Sambalette coffee is ridiculously overpriced (Starbucks is next door) Not specific to the Monte Carlo but the smell of stale cigarette smoke is pervasive in Vegas. Gross.
It was a noisy due to construction outside our window.
Price Horrible view
Vibe, beautiful and clean interior, location, food options, gaming options, etc. Right now, too much construction, I'd wait till it is completed finished before staying here. The entire front entrance is completely being redone, many of the interior restaurants are being rehabbed and are closed, there are no shows taking place here, without these thinga right now, Monte Carlo is not as sexy as it once was. Once all is completed however, it will be amazing! Also, seemed they are a bit short staffed with housekeeping as our room was not cleaned till late afternoon. This review is only temporary however as I know things will get a lot better.
Under reconstruction Stuff friendly, nonintrusive environment
I like serenity yet convenient of everything for leisure. Excellent service!!! I strongly recommend to anyone!! Sarah
This is an island of paradise among the insanity of Vegas. The attention to detail is without equal. There is no casino which provides a number of benefits. The walk to the room is very short, the line for a cab is non-existent, Starbucks is right by the front door, there is no line at check-in, and you are never hustled by prostitutes, pimps, or marketers. In my opinion, this is the only place to stay. It is expensive for a very good reason. In this case, you get exactly what you pay for... I found no fault with this luxury hotel. The water pressure is great, service is prompt, and the concierge is able to achieve monumental feats on very short notice.
The MO is an unexpected and beautiful facility that is everything Vegas is not. If your looking for sanctuary from the 24/7 insanity of Vegas the MO is that and so much more.
Tranquility and truly friendly and helpful staff. On the strip with readily accessible gambling but structured in such a way that you can relax when you choose. minor maintenance issues with an otherwise wonderful room.
I liked that you were in Vegas but this hotel was a little eacape from the craziness I didn't like that our room faced the busy bridge from the shops and Aria so there was noise all night long
The Mandarin Oriental is great for travelers who come to Vegas for a comfortable, luxurious stay and want to avoid the crowds, the smokey casinos, and the noise of the strip that is present at other hotels. The staff there is incredibly professional and courteous and very well trained. We had an amazing stay and every part of our experience was top-notch - and we are seasoned travelers who often stay in nice hotels. I appreciate too that the entire hotel was non-smoking. The prices are high, but you often get what you pay for... however I think the spa prices, even for basic services, are quite steep - such as $120 for an express pedicure.
Loved that it was non smoking and non gaming! Beautiful pool, free yoga class and close to everything. The restaurants were also very good.
Sevice is very good. But sometimes too good just makes you uncomfortable. The room is very nice, the tub in bathroom is gorgeous. Overall, the gotel is worthy to live. Even the price is a little high, so I would recommend to live when there are some special deals.
Has class and sophistication. The staff is wonderful And the location is perfect. Great food and service.
Staff really understood customer service. Hotel was cold - food expensive and medicore at best.
Everything was gorgeous - the staff as well as the entire hotel. There's no casino in the hotel so it does provide a haven for when you need a break from the frenzy that is Las Vegas. The bed was awesome! Location is very central on the strip. I would definitely recommend.
My friends and I (4 ladies in our late 20's, early 30's) traveled to Vegas to celebrate a birthday and stayed at the Marriott Grand Chateau. We selected this hotel because of the price ($207 per night), location (1 block from the strip and directly across from Planet Hollywood Mall/Casino), and room set-up (2 bedrooms with 2 full bathrooms and kitchen). The rooms were amazing and we had plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable, esp with the extra bathroom that we found extremely helpful when we were getting ready to go out at night. The only downfall is the early check-out time of 10am. Also liked that is was a non-smoking facility, which gave our lungs a break! Early checkout time (10am), but the hotel will hold your luggage for free.
Used the 2 BR. Nice having room to relax. Upscale. Pool areas nice. Close to strip.
Kitchen included. Beds are comfortable and location was away from the strip so easier to get rest at night.
Well as soon as I walked in the door I was hit with an $84 resort fee, not really the properties fault because that's the way entire industry is moving but still it's annoying when you think that you have already paid in full. The casino had lower minimums, but it wasn't exactly a place I wanted to stay and gamble for a while. The room seemed sufficiently clean. We were placed in a smoking room on our first night despite having requested a non-smoking room, when we brought this to the attention of the check in host - they stated that it is a request, and not a guarantee that we would get a non-smoking room... we went up to put our bags in the room, and were repulsed by the disgusting smell. We went to the front desk again and explain that we would have a difficult time staying in the room with the intense disgusting odor, but the host seem to laugh it off and told us to smoke marijuana in the room now that it is legal in nevada. This was not an appropriate response in my opinion, however there was nothing we could do unless we wanted to sleep on the Las Vegas strip!
Courtesy of Staff and close by the new T-Mobile Arena
The casino employees and front desk people were nice The whole hallway smelt horrible. Out of Date rooms. Room got cleaned once out of 3 days
we were supposed to get a nonsmoking room but they gave us a room which you could easily smell the left over smoke inside. it took them 2 hours to change our room after more than 10 times us calling the front desk. the bathtub was full of hair. I had to go get the cleaning lady and come clean it again. terrible experience overall. they do no care about the customer experience because these companies are too big to care about individual people. I will NEVER put my foot in Tropicana "hotel" and I would recommend everyone boycotts these hotels with low quality service.
The hotel lobby was renovated with a modern look plus can't beat the price. The room was decent, it had all the necessary amenities that you would need for any hotel. Overall, a nice hotel that provides all the basic things needed without having to overpay. The bathroom definitely needs an upgrade. And, also, adding more gambling tables (i.e. Craps, Poker) to the casino would be a bonus.
I like that its more quiet than the casinos on the strip. We have a toddler and it seemed like a good option given the location. Not a place for someone who likes to gamble to stay. The casino is tiny and the sports book was a joke. Very limited dining options. The rooms in the club tower were so humid it was unbearable. It was on the 60's when we were there. No matter how low you set the thermostat, it still felt humid. Maid said the club tower is like that this time of year.
We stayed in the area called "The Bungalows". Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and attractive. It even had a small balcony with table and chairs. We appreciated having an Enterprise rental car location in the hotel. That made it very easy to return our rental car and pick up a taxi to the airport (there is a $50 additional fee if you return the car to the airport). We are not gamblers and used the hotel as our final night in the area before flying out in the morning. We did walk the Strip at night and early the next morning. Both times the area felt safe. Hotel staff were helpful. Some might find the public areas of the hotel "dated". We liked the slightly vintage vibe.
Was great for the price. Enjoyed the stay. Most everything was as expected. Room was too noisy. More so than any other hotel I've stayed at in Vegas. Could hear the people in the next room very clearly.
I do not like the resort fee. The hotel was very good.
the room was great and house keeping was very accommodating. i appreciate that valet was complimentary the only thing i would say is i felt like we were forced to upgrade because the front desk rep made our original room sound horrible. i get that they want to get upgrade for sales purposes but i shouldn't feel like my room was going to be horrible.
The room, the price, the casino, and the staff I had to leave early
It was very quite and just a short walk from the strip, this was the last night of a three week stay in south west america.
- Friendly and helpful staff. - Clean, spacious, comfortable - Full kitchen - Convenient location - Pool and barbeque - More like a condo...less like a hotel - Relatively quiet and family friendly
No parking or resort fees. safe and friendly workers. slow checkout.need to update room carpets.
We had a great suite with many extras that made our stay very comfortable! The efficient staff were quite helpful with all our needs. And the special rate was hard to beat..
We did appreciate complimentary breakfast and the WiFi. The noise from the unit above us was disturbing, perhaps refurbishing?
Room facilities Swimming pool close to earlier Bathroom inside main room
the room was spacious and everything was so cleam my only complaint was that I didn't receive my wakeup call as requested
A hotels reputation can made or broken by its staff, this Hotels staff definitely compliment this hotel and make you feel that whatever your need is then they will try and accommodate and go that extra yard to ensure your stay goes smoothly. I'm really struggling to find anything to fault this hotel and its staff.
This appears to be a new property primarily set up for a 'time share' type of arrangement. However it is also a hotel. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The rooms were real suites with bedroom, living room and full kitchens. My room was very clean and well maintained. The hotel's public rooms were the same. The complimentary breakfast was better than the normal found at other hotels. The "Manager's Reception" each afternoon was a nice touch with complimentary wine, beer and snacks. A nice, quiet and very affordable place to stay. Only downside is that it is a bit off the downtown area of LV. However cabs are plentiful and the crowds were scare there. There were absolutely no negative parts of my two night stay.
Excelent resort. Like staying at home. Don't have any
Off strip but walkable, closer to airport than others, free parking since more hotels are charging by the hour, quiet due to less drunks, spacious with kitchen for left overs and balcony to sit in sun, friendly and accomodating staff because I like the same room!
Clean rooms with full kitchens. Noisy
The cleaning staff was very nice and the room we stayed in was freshly painted. The plumbing was very bad. The shower water would not stay at the same temp it would turn very hot then really cold every time. Plus the shower head was places below my nose level and I am 5ft 2". It was very disappointing that the sink had scratches and stains in it and the dj from the pool would blast the music so loud the windows vibrated. I picked hooters because it had good reviews but I was disappointed. The casino spelled like sewage because outside the hotel they must of had a back up problem and the hotel had the doors open to the pool area. Sadly we did not spend much time at the hotel for these reasons.
24 hour great food options and service. The service at Hooters restaurant was great! Decent for it's weekend purpose which was a bachelor party Very old and outdated facad and decor, in room tv options and quality was less than mediocre. Bad first impression upon arrival
What you'd expect when staying at a Hooters, not exceptional but also not awful. Maid service does a good job, though there's only so many times you can vaccuum a carpet before you need to replace it, similar issues with grouting in the bathroom. No leftover hairs from previous guests, didn't feel a need to use my own sheets. Couldn't open the shades on the window because people would have been able to see in from the parking lot, windows did not lock. Additionally, one of the lights decorating the outside of the building was placed directly in front of the room, meaning opening the shades filled the room with red light, an experience not uncommon at hotels in Vegas. Room has a small table and chairs in it as well as a dresser with 3 large drawers in it. Asked for a robe and was told "we don't do that." The only really uncomfortable part of my stay was walking through the smokey casino every time I wanted to get to my room. There is no way around it, unfortunately. Also, Hooters as well as all other hotels on the strip charges a "resort fee" though unlike some of the other hotels on the strip, Hooters did not seem to offer any more amenities to make the resort fee plausible. Clientele is primarily middle aged single men or young people staying there because it's the cheapest option on the strip. If I was to do it over, I'd pay the $10 a night and stay at Excalibur.
Rooms were updated recently. Nice. Comfortable beds.
Nothing A receptionist woman was so rude. She talked like we don't have money while we asked for higher floor (20$ dollar plus) She talked like yelling to someone she doesn't like. If she doesn't like service job she should quit! I was in Vegas so many time and I ve never think to stay this hotel before! We had an emergency to stay this hotel only a night! 5 hours and I would like to stay higher floors in every hotel. When I asked for higher no hotel say you have to pay extra for higher!!!!! So bad experiences. First time and last time. Waste money!
Food, bartender Charlene, front desk Margaret, great strip view, can't beat value Carpets in rooms need to be updated...stains everywhere, cabinet doors missing, my room and friends room were not turned down first night even though we requested it....and we had left rooms before noon
Loved the gaming, food was very good, staff was great! Some limited staff in restaurant, eliminated that due to long wait on a Tuesday!!
Proximity with the strip and other casino places A/C was loud and a bit noisy
The security staff was rude the casino smells like sewer
The room set up. Once turning out the light to the bathroom, the room is dark. Trying to feel my way to the bed, there' a cubby set up. Dangerous for those who have been drinking and watch out, that space you feel is not the bed and be careful not to end up banging your forehead on the wall. If you do what I did, you're in the ER and not back to your hotel for at least 4 hours.
The price was good. Can't really complain about that. House keeping did a really good job cleaning our room. All the of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Having Hooters wings at arms reach was nice too. The location is good for fairly easy strip access. This place needs renovating badly! I get it's Hooters and they pride themselves on being delightfully tacky. But this wasn't tacky. It is old and, frankly, dingy. Especially next to the renovated tropicana. It's sadly stuck in the 80's. The room had an old big box 27 inch tv. The bed had us begging for our chiropractors and massage therapists. The carpets are vacuumed, but God knows when they were last cleaned. Its annoying that they have no business center. Also if your gonna be Hooters, it's sad when Twin Peaks restaurant up the streetcar greatly outclasses you on what you....umm "Market".
Stayed there just one night and didn't gamble there so I can't comment on the casino. Was given room 208 in the Bayview tower. Door to the room doesn't swing open all the way cause it rubs on the uneven floors and it is paper thin cause you can hear conversation from other guests in the hallway. Beds, sink, and toilet were clean but everything else can use an update. The tub, bathroom floor, and carpets especially were gross. The view from the window highlights trash that has accumulated on the roof. Perhaps they can use some of the resort fee to pay someone to do some cleaning up there? BEWARE...Kayak claims the resort fee is $15 but I was charged $25. For an extra $10 I would have stayed at a nicer comparable hotel. I doubt I will stay there again.
