Hotel location is very good, walking distance to Ils de la Cite, close to a Metro/RER station. Rooms are very clean and bathrooms are new.
Hotel staff was really very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel is a bit old-fashioned and the rooms are small.
Excellent front desk staff, especially the pleasant, very friendly and helpful Oriental lady at the reception counter..patient too, smiles a lot ( unusual in many French hotel staff) goes the second mile for guests.Clean and central, very walkable to many "must- sees" in Paris None that we can think of ...except the room would benefit from a refitting ( especially new wall paper) to match the bathroom which was a well renovated one.
Very friendly staff. Gives a very personalised feeling during my stay.
The localization was perfect, it's vis a vis Sorbona and near Luxemburg Garden. In my triple room there was no coffe service and no ironing kit as they wrote in an offer.
the staff was very kind and the demand for a nice view was respected.breakfast was served at very practical hours and it was very nicely located.the elevator was really nice and aristocratic. our room was not ready by 5 pm in the afternoon by a mistake and the cleaning lady did not want to do it late in the afternoon. so we spent a night in another room and then we have changed it. but the staff has offered us the breakfast in order to compensate which was kind.
Staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Rooms very clean and of a good size for Paris. Worth asking for a room with a veiw out over the skyscape of the city.
Room was compact and had everything I needed. It was clean. Very good location. STaff were all congenial and pleasant. A single room that is as small as this one was can cause claustrophobia over ten days of stay. The bed was too near the window and when the weather was bad I was cold. You should offer larger rooms for singles on a longer stay. I would have been happy to pay extra but no one told me. I found it hard to hear cnn as it had a quieter audio setting than the other stations. More movies and interesting programs needed. Single people do not stay out late into the night so they some entertainment in their room for evening.
Location, helpful receptionists. Had to use antiquated, tiny, scary elevator or walk up a lot of stairs. Also, the street noise at night, yelling street people and motorcycles rushing by, was pretty bad.
Very bad experiences I got with that particular hotel, most guest been awaked from sleep at 3:00 O'clock in the morning by a defective fire alarm systems. Most of us been gathered at the hotel reception at a cold nightwearing only a light pyjama some half dresses !!!!! Nothing in particular even they been in shortage at breakfest with french baguetteand tea spoon , incredible !!!
The location is very good, the staff was very helpful and kind. With small children and lots of luggage, the stairs up to the reception was not so practical.
It was built almost in the middle of Paris and close to St. Michael Metro station and Notre Dame cathedral. So the location is quite fine for those who are seeking for Hotel in the middle of Paris. Entrance was not designed for bringing baggage in.
Location Very small rooms
location is exellent!!!
Location excellent; great rer connection to Gare du Noord. Customer Service not overly friendly or forthcoming. Beds absolutely horrible.
Clean, stylish, cosy well equiped small hotel. They don't have their own parking, but there is available public parking very close to the hotel.
great area small rooms. very bad shower, no shower curtains
Super location for the tourist---Metro station 20 meters from front door. Easy access from airport via RER train B. Notre Dame & scenic tour bus stop just a few blocks away across river. Great pedestrian streets with many restaurants, cafes & bars next door. Internet cafe just behind. Very clean and just renovated. Rooms have balcony. Linens ---towels & sheets---were high quality. (We appreciate a good towel!) Rooms are small (typical for Paris at this price point) but with good bathrooms. Breakfast offered is too expensive---go elsewhere close by. Guests must carry bags upstairs to front desk at first level. No wash cloths provided with towels.
excellent location, friendly front desk
Good location, near to two Metro station, many resturant arounded. Room is small
It's location. The hotel was a little run down, and it smelt of smoke, no separate non-smoking rooms really and the carpets were grimy.
Location & cleanliness
Excellent location. Room was small but I guess to be expected in Paris! Had to back in to the loo!
The location was excellent as was the service, staff and cleanliness. No, it was great.
Clean and location. the heat in the rooms.
Very convenient location Stains on towels and pillow case, hairs on bed, Bin not emptied
It was a surprise for my mum's 60th birthday and the hotel staff allowed us to decorate the room and make it really special. The location was excellent right by the Notre Dame cathedral, in the centre of the Latin Quarter (loads of great value restaurants around) and a view of the river Seine from the window of our hotel room. Breakfast was really good to. I have absolutely no complaints and will stay there again on my next visit.
The Location was fantastic, right next to the metro and very easy to find. Hotel was a stone through away from all the sites. The Rooms were very clean. I travelled with two friends and was perfect. Staff very helpfull. It was first time in Paris and the area where the hotel was had a very nice feel to it. Which made for a amazing weekend!
Location was perfect. Easy access to metro & busses. Staff were very accomodating and ready to help. Room was small for 3 people and there was no space for luggage.
clean, very central location
Great location. Easy access to Metro and walking distance to many things. Ask for room 427. A little street noise but great view.
Location of hotel and profession service None
good location tiny room, poor closet space,
Location Breakfast wasn't included. Noise from the street.
the location is great right in the heart of the latin quarter, the staff were very helpful and friendly, would definently stay again.
Excelenent location tiny room
Location. Freindly, helpful staff. Clean.
The excellent location for tourist attrctions and the restaraunts of the Latin Quarter
the position, the staff
Helpful staff--good location and well maintained
Nothing: the services has been very poor Let me tell you: 1-at hotel booking: because I did not want to put my credit card on a fax but rather give it verbally on the phone, then they informed me that the hotel was fully booked. I could make the reservation on line right after and through your service! 2-During my stay there was not hot water! I could not take a shower! Answer from the same guy: if you are not happy, just ask for a discount! Then he hanged up the phone! 3. At the time of departure I could not get my invoice - the printer was so said out of order...what a coincidence. In spite of several mail requests, I still cannot get my invoice. conclusion: I'm general manager at Ericsson: I will request that hotel to be banned from Ericsson list, I'll do the same for my peers
The service at the front desk was friendly and helpful I would definitely return on my next visit to Paris. No
Location, location, location! Great location in Paris
location and staff
the room is actually pretty noise (outside noise - as expected) but the water pipes in the room are a nightmare
the central location and the staff.
Great location especially if you arrive in Paris by train. Rooms are very small.
The location of the hotel is great: near Louvre Museum, rue Rivoli, Les Halles, Centre Pompidou. Lot of restaurants and bars just at few steps from it. The Hotel is small but very clean. The service is good.
Position is perfect!! The staff is very friendly and helpful rooms are too small for families,
Its location. It was very close to where I wanted to be. The room was drab, the carpet worn. The decor was dreary. The matress was hard, lumpy and worn.
They forget to mention the hotel is located to a construction site so essentially sleeping is impossible due to the terrible noise. The rooms are tiny, they look nothing like the pictures, the elevator can barely fit one carry-on bag and management is delusional. Whoever awarded 4 stars to this hotel must have been tripping on magic mushrooms. It's 2 stars at best despite the renovations in the lobby. For 200 euro a night you are way better off going to the Novotel a block away.
Very friendly and helpful receptionist and a very clean room The shower made the entire bathroom wet
Beautiful room and facilities. Nice balcony on the Annex overlooking a great restaurant. Nice private courtyard accesses rooms in Annex (which is cheaper than main hotel). Very near the walled ancient city center. Rooms are right along a narrow street with traffic noise most of the night.
The location, the staff and the room - all were amazing! Very close to the metro, great food and sights. Would definitely consider staying here again during our next visit! No possibility of early check in. But we could store our luggage with them since we arrived early.
We liked everthing about the Hotel. It is ideally placed for enjoying Paris both during the day and at night. The rooms were well presented, clean and comfortable. But the best thing about this Hotel is the staff. Nothing seemed too much trouble for them and they were extremely friendly and seemed determined to do everthing they could to make sure we enjoyed our stay: I cannot speak highly enough about them or the Hotel. This was our four or fifith stay in Paris and this Hotel stands head and shoulders above the rest of the Hotels we have stayed in. We shall definately return. Nothing whatsoever.
Nice staff If you book a single room beware, they don't tell you that you look out to a 2 foot courtyard and 3 other rooms so you have to keep your curtains closed at all times
relaxing, convenient to metro and sightseeing, nice rooms small elevator
Good location, peaceful, good decor.
Location and staff are excellent! Room size is too small for families.
Very nice location - 10min. to Louvre, 10 min. to Notre Dame, restaurants shopping, metro - within 5 min. walk. Room was very nice - typical Paris budoire style, bathrobe, slippers, kettle in the room and very comfortable orthopedic beds, free WiFi in the room - everything was superb and most of all - very nice helpful friendly staff. I dont have problems with english language - but extra asset to russian travellers - very nice russian speaking lady Olga at the reception. She helped me to book all the excursions. Glass of champagne upon arrival. Definetely very nice holodays! Cant find any - no noice,no any disturbing factors.
General location Hard to find at first, for those who are driving.
This is a charming hotel, perfect for romance and sightseeing, full of character and located within walking distance of most major places of interest. Nearby there are restaurants, a general store and a sandwich bar which sells homemade soups and desserts, run by a vivacious proprietor. Rivoli, a major shopping street, is around the corner. Despite this, the hotel was a haven of peace and quiet. My girlfriend and I had a balcony room on the fifth floor where we could sit, protected from the rain amongst tubs of flowers, enjoying the views. Our room had a mini-bar, coffee making facilities, television, antique bureau, bath robes and slippers. There was a bidet and hairdryer in the shower room, plenty of hot water. Highly recommended!! There was nothing we didn't like. We love this hotel and will stay there again.
Location, friendly staff, atmosphere Rooms a bit tiny but typical of Paris
The location is undeniably excellent. Les Marais is a guaranteed good time My room was very dingy for $100. The only thing that looked clean was the bathroom. The bedroom was shabby, and dark. The hotel staff literally was very uninformed. I asked very simple questions such as, how to get to the airport, and how to get to Versailles and they couldn't tell me. They also failed to let me know about metro construction taking place. They were overall not helpful, and did not interact kindly with me (with the exception of 1 woman.) I wouldn't stay here again
Location great. Close to everything. Rooms very small, no air condition - only table fan. Clean, comfortable beds. Very friendly staff. Did no try breakfast, it's only continental at 9.0 euro. Great place across the street for breakfast. Value for the money - very good but you give up some convenience. No place for second suitcase - had to push out chair. Wi-fi works most time. F not - attendant fixed a couple of times.
the hotel close the metro & rer station and also St.Michel / St. German street. The air condition wasnt work. The rooms are so close each other.
Excellent location. Nice modern interior of hotel adn relaxed atmosphere. Very good breakfast buffet. Check until 12!
the location is good. lots of restaurants nearby. rooms are a bit small.
Rooms were clean. The hotel is in a decent location, but close to the subway so it made getting to and from different attractions was relatively easy. Staff was nice and courteous. Although the breakfast is good, for the same price you could get hot meal just down the street. Beds were a little firm.
We stayed in one of the top floor loft rooms at the hotel. It was absolutely fabulous with its modern decor and balcony over looking the streets below.
The hotel is conveniently located near several Metro stations as well as great local restaurants and shopping. A "chain" grocery store is one block away to stock up on stables and such. Just a couple of blocks also from some main tourist attractions including the Cluny and the Parthenon. Breakfast was above average. only ironing board is located in the basement where the laundry is done.
Its central The hotel needs modernisation. There is a difference between the external look of the hotel and the decoration in the rooms and hallways which need serious upgrade.
the area nothing to add
The location good but the price were high, but it's Paris... Rooms were clean. Breakfast is 12 eur but. RER B to Airport etc is near by. Rooms are a bit worn out, but they are clean. They were also small and bed fairly narrow.
Good location, helpful staff
Good location and breakfast.
excellent location breakfast not included
Good location, friendly & professional staff, clean room, nice wallpaper! Bathroom on the small side, but very clean.
very good location The room is smaller than my expectation
Conveniently located in Latin Qtr; walking distance to River, shops, restaurants, cafes (including a 24 hr internet cafe), tourist attractions and bus stop; friendly, helpful staff.
The hotel has a great location, right across from the Sorbonne and thus close to lot's of attractions. The design touches, especially in the common areas are very chic. The rooms are very small. It was hard to find space to open up my suitcase. However, they did such a nice job with the decor, that I was able to overlook this. It's a fun place to stay.
Location is excellent, staff very helpful. Hotel Bedroom very small with extremely small bathroom. No Tea and Coffee making facilities.
Nice design and equipment, quiet room and excellent location. The room was just a little small (considering it was a double superior).
Good location. Very close to Luxembourg station. Breakfast was adequate for the price. Like a lot of European hotels we found the room to be noisy. In the mornings other guests closing doors was quite audible.
Location, location location!
Good clean room, really centrally located. Rooms tight but clean and serviceable
Location and helpful staff- plus the included breakfast was amazing and so convenient. If your French is non existent (like mine), the staff will be a huge help without making you feel bad about your lack of language skills. Location and small rooms. The rooms are very small- don't bring large suitcases- but I think this is typical in Paris.
