Bar is amazing
Pets allowed on request. Charges may apply.
rooms extreamly small, tv charge was not expecting very expensive
Front desk staff were helpful, intelligent and professional with a great sense of humour. Room was spacious, modern yet tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable for a weary business traveller.
Lobby beautiful, great rooms, staff very helpful and accommodating, food and drinks excellent. Exquisitely updated and decorated. Excellent value for the money. Would recommend without hesitation.. .
location, and comfort size of hotel
Location, convenience and staff were very accommodating No
Very excellent!! Nothing
Comfort of beds, friendly staff, location to Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysee Not one!
The hospitality is more than George V.
Close to centre with bus stop close by
Location The smallest room I ever had for 240 euros. I could touch the 4 walls from the bed. Poor views to an inside patio that was still under construction. And the hotel seemed to be empty.
Location, clean rooms, free, wireless internet and the friendly staff. Very small rooms, small Lift, and bad coffee glasses( the glass snaps off the metal holder when hot, as it expands faster than the holder, and you will have coffee spilled all over the place, including your clothes). The lobby is small for a ***** hotel.
good services, modern room, good location room is too small for the price charged
Quiet street just next to the crowded street of the Champs Elysees. The room was great and the Internet for included in the rate.
Everything was horrible and very expencive
location good and accessible, rooms are very small and felt uncomfortable, due to this reason we changed to another hotel,
Very central location, staff very friendly and helpful, fantastic selection for breakfast would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. No restaurant or bar but there was room service
Excellent location, very stylish hotel, hospitable friendly staff, excellent rate, great experience, would go there again
The location and the service by all staff.
Location. Short walk to metro. Walking distance to Eiffel Tower. Local facilities eg bar/mini market/street cafes but in a quiet street. Hotel staff were excellent, friendly professional and multi lingual. Staff impressed me most actually. Breakfast room bright and cheerful. no
Good location, helpful staff Very small rooms, quite plain
Room is clean and comfortable but small. Breakfast is too little for the amount charged The small lift
Great little hotel with an extremely friendly staff. Definitely charges in line with what you get -- not a ton of amenities, but this is unnecessary for Paris when you spend so little time in your hotel.
location excellent,staff very nice
Friendly staff, adequate facilities Rooms too noisy (no soundproofing) and too hot; the beds had plastic matress covers making them very hot and uncomfortable
Warm, friendly atmosphere with friendly polite staff. Very relaxed problem free stay.
It is located at the city cnetre area and nearer to Equip Hotel show. All OK
the room was warm enough so, for once, I didn't have to rise up the heater no curtain on the window of the bathroom. even if the glass of the window is blurred, is not enough to respect intimacy. + the acoustic is pretty poor as I was waken up by my neighbor clock.
Location Room service quick but astronomical prices for the quality of food. Bar staff incapable of making a descent cup of tea (got slightly coloured hot water). The hotel is badly in need of renovation.
I like it
Location near city centre; hotel staff's smiling faces.
The location, the room, the excellent service of the concierge who got us tickets on the same the day for a fully booked show.
Location Not value for money
I liked most the hospitality, and nice attitude of staff.
actually this time nothing since room was not booked as requested(higher floor) out of two nights stay one complete day without hot water i am looking for compensation for the inconvinience caused since i have arrived at midnight on the first day of arrival and had to rush on the folloing day for shower before 10am as simply hot water will be cutted from 10 to 19.00 hrs?? the hotel require total renovation, being starwwod member i have asked for room upgrading with no success
The staff that was very nice and helpful. The location is excellent, in the heart of the city. We upgrade the room to a much larger room. The price was a little too excessive for a regular room.
luxury and the breakfast was exellent. no
The location, wonderful! The size of the room
the indifference of the concierge staff
The service was very good and excellent location. The water took very long to get warm.
It was a quiet hotel. Helpfull and smiling staff.
The room was clean and they put us in room which has vew on the eiffel The breakfast was very poor and in very small room
Everything! The room, staff and location was excellent.
Friendly, helpful staff who spoke ecellent english.Position of hotel for main tourest attractions
The hotel is very centrally located with easy access to all forms of transport in Paris. It was within walking distance to a lot of major sightseeing spots in Paris. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and were a good size by Paris standards. There were renovation works going on in the hotel and we were woken early every weekday morning by the noise of hammers etc. We were not told about this which we should have been. Overall it was a very pleasent stay in the hotel. The noise of renovation works waking us up early in the morning and not being told that renovations were being carried out.
Everything was ok Maybe the breakfast, because usually our breakfast in all the hotels we go in Paris came with many kinds of cheese included, and this one no,you have to order separetely
the staff is not good, not friendly, but location for shopping is perfect. the room is toooooo small! staff is not friendly
Nothing ! The room was too small, jail cell is bigger, the room service was very poor (it took more than an 90min for room service cup of tea and then I had to cancel it), restaurant staff dont speak any english and menu is in french only
The bar after the dinner time. Real great time... The bar prices ...!
i like the staff and especially marie.....and saturday night is amazing....
the location the staff are not friendly they are taff
Superb location; good breakfast; clean, comfortable room. Room was a bit on the small side, even for a European/Paris hotel.
- quiet hotel located in safe area of the city - clean - in general staff was very kind - crowded (very tiny halls, small closets, not so much light in the room) - customer orientation (sometimes one might speak to you in an arrogant manner with no reason, or to forget to bring you something you have order from room service) - it takes 1 hour to get a salad in your room
Location Elevator was way too small.
- wireless internet access was very good excellent, unfortunately unsecured so do not use it for credit card or bank transactions! - some people at the reception, like Helen, deserve a 10 for kindness and very helpfull. also the lady at the breakfast room the first day (a tall black lady with glasses) is doing a splendid job in difficult circumstances... (small breakfast room) give this lady a thank you and a tip please, she deserves it.... - Nice rooms and very clean - Excellent location in the centre of Paris - good hotel, mostly nice people, I would recommend it if you do not need roomservice and do not need coffee to work in the evening :-) - Unfortunately other people in the hotel did not carry out the same service. The second day I came in for breakfast at 9:50 (breakfast is untill 10:30). all tables were empty, but all with dirty plates. after standing there for a while she decided to clear a table, but only gave a cup and a plate and a knife. When a few minutes after that I went to the breakfast buffet (approx. 1,5 metert from my table) she took my full cup of coffee and plate away. When I asked what she was doing she said it was a mistake and placed a new one again. In a small room with only one other person it does not seem probable. When some English speaking lady came in and asked for cold milk at a little past 10, she could not get it. I heared the breakfast lady say to another staff member (in French): it's 10:15 we do not refill it now... - at arrival evening (about 21 hour) I ordered room service for 2, for about 100 euro, salades, sandwiches and dessert. I wanted some coffee also because they have no coffee making facility in the room. I was surprised I could only order food and had to cope with the drinks in the minibar for drinks... It was not possible to get coffee or other drinks trough roomservice. The dinner was only cold plates and not very good for the monney. - day 3 we ordered breakfast in the room and again the same lady came to bring it. Only one cup for 2 persons, one of everything in fact, so we had to share. On Sunday it was clearly done by somebody else, we got plenty of all we ordered.... - also first day ordered to deliver at 07:00, got it at 07:25, the next day ordered at 09:00 and it was delivered at 08:40. - also while I was working my girlfriend wanted to watch movies. The 'normal' movies did not work, never did work (no image for one and no movie at all on the second, at least 2 days on a row). Helen did arrange a refund I must say.
Efficient friendly staff and modern clean rooms. Central location. Rooms not large.
Attitude of front office staff. Friendly, smiling, efficient, and helpful. Absence of gym and sauna.
Good location. It was a single room and therefore appropriately sized but also well appointed with a nice bathroom. Good to have A/C.
excellent location . cleanliness ... the reception guy seem not knowing his job .like he charge two times the same amount of money . he is the only unfamiliar one in the hotel .
good value for money, great location, clean functional rooms This is my 4th visit and this time the hotel seemed understaffed
Location - value for money. Rooms are not sound proof.
Very good and comfortable
The hotel exceeded our expectations. It is a charming, comfortably elegant boutique hotel that delivers the parisian experience in spades. The service was exceptional and the location can't be beat. Very close to the Champs Elysee, wonderful restaurants and easy walking distance to two Metro stations. There is a wine store less than a block away on Rue Marbeuf heading towards the Champs that has a great selection and near that are a few cafes where you can pick up pre-packaged cheeses and other items that are great for the room or a picnic.
It was not a 4 star hotel, and so not good value
Good location They should be careful not to charge their clients when the amount was already debited when the reservation was made at hotel.com.
Great location, friendly staff, spacious room, internet working well. The bathroom was rather dated and the sink had a large crack that was badly sealed. This should be properly replaced in a 4* hotel. The first morning I received my breakfast on time. The second morning I did not receive it at all although I placed the form on my door well before midnight the previous evening.
freindly staff and location.
Location and size of the room. Breakfast was not up to standards. Baguette and croissants were from the previous day?
The location of the hotel was fantastic and the staff were very helpful
The balcony in our deluxe room was only rail with patio door access
They had the elevator not working for 2 days. I have to walk daily few times up and down. They said they would deduct two days of my stay. Could you please check and make the refund.
This staff was very pleasant. The elevator was very slow. My room was on the 6th floor but found taking the stairs was sometimes much quicker than waiting for the elevator.
Very nive hotel, good work of reception bad internet
I like the location, staff are very nice. Internet access in the room are bad.
Absolute proximity to Champs Elysees. There was no view from the window. The room seemed dark and not quite friendly because of that.
interior design and location very small rooms and bathroom, and room service was horrible.
location and the personnel at the rception the room should be renovated
Hotel location and staff courtesy. Breakfast is very expensive and not good value for money.
the balcony with eiffel tower view and 30 seconds walking to the champs-elysees 24-h roomservice
the bed was comfortable the toilet was very very very bad
Breakfast is very nice. Elevator was broken during our stay.
Poor state of the room, however very nice terrace. Not quite what it could and should be for 300€.
Room size is ok and the breakfast. Friendly receptionist and cooperative. Bieng close to shopping streets is one big reason of my choice. No.
the location the room that I had was extremely small. the toilet was only few centimeters far from the bed. I did not get any comfort because of the permanent noise coming from the floor upstairs.
small room , not deluxe that i booked
Location and staff.
Convenience of neighborhood. More english speaking staff. Particularly noisy street.
Location The room is not the exactly room showing on the Booking.com
Location Size of rooms and size of toilet in some rooms is very small..
The Hotel is well situated in easy reach of the main attractions. The staff are friendly, professional and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and have extremely comfortable beds.
Location and view of Eiffel Tower were excellent. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was small, but view made up for it.
Localisation My room was really old - with holes in the wallpapers, oldfashioned- but, frankly speaking it was just my room- I saw the other room and it was better. The man in the reception told me,that he will not write the address of my company in the invoice. The rest was pretty ok. I recommend just because of localisation.
Staff were very helpful. Great walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. Very centrally located.
Location was excellent. Walking distance to the Arc and Tower.
Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Good location and liked that we could have all six of us in one apartment--two bedrooms, kitchen, living room and two baths. Hotel is getting a little tired...needs new carpet and fresh paint
That you can see the Eiffel Tower from your window (making an effort, of course) -The staff is not so frendly -the bedroom was too hot, and we didnt have the possibility of regulating the temperature -the breakfast is very crowded and the service is not so good -eventhough is good located, during nights you dont have anyrhing realy close to go (too much quite). Champs Elysee is 15 minutes walk.
Practical for business traveller, destined for one of international organizations, headquartered in Paris. Also good option for economy shopping tour.
I had to find a lodging for two families (7 people in total, 4 adults and 3 small children). The possibility to rent a reasonably priced apartment for 6-7 people made our stay much nicer than having two separate rooms; we benefitted from the privacy of distinct bedrooms and toilets, while enjoying good moments in the common living room. The availability of a very well equipped kitchen also made our life much easier, especially for keeping and preparing meals for two babies. Well, at some point in time you may want to change the rather old carpets, as mentioned in a number of criticisms on your site:-)
The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We had requested a room with twin beds on a lower floor and got one. The basic breakfast was very good with numerous additional options. The hotel is a five/ten minuite walk from the Arc deTriomphe and therefore very close to the Champs Elysées and central Paris. There was a very nice international clientele. I think many rooms overlook a central courtyard so noisy rooms with open windows could be a problem but we didn't really encounter.this..
Great service and rooms. Well-designed.
The location was very good. It was definitely not a luxury hotel. Room was directly over the hotel courtyard that had been converted to a banquet facility and was extremely noisy. Fitness center had only one treadmill and one piece of equipment. Beds and pillows were not very comfortable.
Reseption personnel, consierge. Breakfast service appalling, tables not cleaned. Slow service.
The hotel staff was very fair in giving a lot of good informations about Paris and to book restaurants and to confirm our flights, etc. ; there are just a friendly atmosfere. it wasn't possible to do a good regulation of the room air condition.
Wonderful experience and very polite staff. Definite recommendation if you want to spend a deluxe weekend in Paris. Minibar was not very complete
breakfast choice and quality not up to 4* standard. no shower curtain meant bathroom floor was constantly soaked.
Helpful staff. Good service. Lovely room Very expensive breakfasts. 29E for Continental and 35E for American!!
Lack of identity of the hotel
We had a wonderful, six-day, Parisian experience at the Hotel de Sers, located in the elegant Champs Elysees district and very close to the metro and upscale restaurants. The staff was consistently helpful and accommodating in their efforts to obtain tickets, give restaurant recommendations, make reservations, call taxis, provide maps and directions, serve in the restaurant, etc. Upon arrival, we were allowed to check in early. This was much appreciated after many hours of overnight travel. Accolades for Fernanda at the reception desk as well as the concierge (I can not remember his name!) for providing outstanding service in a cordial, welcoming atmosphere. Our room was not spacious, however, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Would recommend taking advantage of a room rate that includes at least a continental breakfast, as the breakfasts are very costly.
Literally a minute from Champs Elysees. Complimentary breakfast; expected a little more than just breads, croissants, cup of fruit and juice.
The hotel staff made this hotel great. The location is pretty good, quiet neighborhood at night, yet close to all the must see tourist attractions and the metro to get to other areas as well. One thing I was disappointed in was the price of the breakfast. Over 20 euro per person is a bit steep, and there were not a lot of those quaint pastry shops nearby. Also I was a little disappointed in the water pressure in the shower, but it got me clean, so *Shrug*
Hotel upgraded our room - it was very nice , we requested for nice river view if possible and we had a beautiful view on the river.
the location was exellent. hotel staff friendly and very helpful. rooms were very well decorated and maintained. this hotel added to the please of the holiday.
Very good central location, near the Eifel Tower and the Champs Elyses, lovely rooms. Could hear noise from rooms either side.
quiet place, nice location
The room was beautiful, the staff very helpful and professional. I am a very discerning traveller and can't think of one thing that there would be not to like about this hotel. Ideally located for shopping and restaurants but yet on a quiet street.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating, most specially the bellhop (I think his name is Jalet) and the receptionist (name is Sibel I think). Our experience during our check-out was excellent too! The Manager (who is Spanish) was very helpful. Though the bathroom was quite good, the vent under the sink was quite dirty. It was covered with dust balls. Also, there was one day that the used forks in our room was not cleared out after cleaning. They were just left on the tray with the new clean glasses. Also, unfortunately we were in Paris during the unexpected rise in temperature. Our room was quite uncomfortable during the day. When we asked about the airconditioning, we were told that this will only go on when the season changes. We understand that this may be the case for most of the hotels in Europe, but it was just too hot.
If you are young couples i recommend to stay in this hotel but for families and ealdry people belive dont try it.The staff are friendly and helpful. Bed is good too. Very far from champ's elyesses not close belive me. The room very small but i think its fair for them as i live in dubai the standred room in dubai much bigger internet is worseless baaaaaaad and expansive 15 euro per day !!!!!!! Waaaw come on its free in the most big cities but in paris !!!!!!!!!!
The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Tea, coffee and a kettle were provided in the room, but no milk. We called down to have some milk sent up for the coffee and they charged us 15€ for "room service". We complained and they removed the charge from the bill.
Location. Rooms. Staff.
Friendliness of staff There is no retaurant only a breakfast room and no coffee making facilities in the room.
Helpful staff and very central for sites and shopping. Good for a break not for a long stay. Everything was as expected but we have stayed before.
room was very clean and very comfortable. was also in the centre of everything breakfast was expensive
Location and pleasant staff Badly designed shower; no coffee making equipment; pillows too large and uncomfortable; insufficient covers on bed
The location of the hotel is a very good thing. The room service is very poor
I didn't like the behaviour one reception clerk - man, he was unwilling, arrogant and nervous.
Nice room and bathroom. Convenient location. Quiet spot in a noisy city. Poor advice on restaurants from night staff who seemed intent on pushing one particular one that he knew the owner
First visit to Paris - however, have stayed in many hotels all over europe (through work) and this is amongst the best. leaving
Very good location. Very overrated based on reviews. The hotel has an odd smell, beds are hard, rooms are smaller than advertised and staff was fighting with clients when I arrived. Any more questions?
Good air con. Pleasant staff. Good location
