Delivered stylish service and amenities without sacrificing the professionalism of a traditional hotel. Downstairs restaurant particularly good. No closing door on bathroom is highly awkward. Not cute if someone joins you in your room.
everything besides the noise i stay at this place alot and most rooms i've been to are subject to alot of construction noise. such a bummer....
The restaurant was great. The beds and linens comfy. City feel is exciting. If you have an eastern facing room I hope you are a morning person.
Great place. I like the Ace. Cool rooftop bar. My only hang-up is that there was some serious construction outside. I would have liked to have known this ahead of time. I'll definitely go back after the construction is finished.
Hotel itself is beautiful, rooftop bar is pretty cool, attached to wonderful Theater. Looks like a broke New York hipster's studio apartment. All unfinished concrete and the bed looks and feels like a futon. Parking is an extra $38. Only stayed here for convenience to theater. Absurd for the price.
Nice lobby, location, staff. Ordered room service, burger was pretty good. Felt like I was in a clean place. It was a bit too expensive. There's not much to do near by. Valet was ridiculously priced. And yeah that's all..
Clean facilities. 1. Entrance loop is too narrow with too few valet workers. If they pull up your car, you will be at the back of the loop. You have to wait for half a dozen cars in front of you before you can exit! 2. Extremely uncomfortable beds that offer no support. 3. Staff manages tasks does not offer service level befitting the price of the hotel.
the check in staff was rude
Comfortable, quiet, accommodating, responsive, beautiful, safe Interactive and professionl staff Many shopping and dining amenities within easy walking distance A fantastic stay
The customer service was amazing. We had an amazing time on our trip. We'll definitely be back.
Loved the comfortable bed, friendliness of staff, and especially the convenient courtesy car! While I normally use Lyft or Uber, I actually found the courtesy car faster and the drivers more knowledgable about the area. I tried both Lyft and Uber and both drivers took long and got lost. If you are here on business, the courtesy car is the way to go, especially as the drivers know the area well, especially the places you need to get to quickly for work. Lack of spa facilities. I booked a facial with the Omni Spa expecting there to be actual spa facilities since the price of a facial was as high as any resort spa (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, waiting room with tea and snacks) but there was none of that. I went down early to the spa area and was told to just come a few minutes before my appointment (there is no where to really hang out for an extended period). The pool outside was uninviting as it was drizzling. And there was just the fitness room down there and a small waiting area for the spa treatment rooms. The facial was very good, but I was just surprised/disappointed with the "spa" area.
Look of hotel Location a bit far from things to do.
Location of hotel for what I wanted was good. Disappointed to pay for a 4 star hotel and get a 3 star room. I was at the omni for a meeting and extended my stay over the weekend. I was moved to a lower quality room and paid current hotel rates. David
Cleanliness, the staff, facilities, bar, restaurant, the location! Mostly great experience! A couple of odd related employee related service issues but no big deal!
The 48$ parking fee is simply outrageous.
Super comfortable beds, room was very clean and nice. Great deal for such a great room!
Loved my stay at the Omni, it is one of my favorite hotels. I really want to continue to see all the different locations! I can't think of anything! Incredible stay.
Staff was nice super expensive. homeless people were lined up outside in tents
Booked the hotel and got a confirmation email. When going to check in at 11:30 at night I was told I had no reservation. After being in the phone for an hour with customer service, I was told my reservation was actually in Wisconsin. WISCONSIN?! Thanks for making me stranded in downtown LA at midnight. I will never use this service again.
Staff was friendly Facilities need upkeeping. Toilet wouldn't flush & we were unable to switch the shower on.
Bed and pillows were ok. Carpet was in good condition. Bath tub drain surrounded by rust. Sink had chips. Toilet paper was very scratchy.
I liked the downtown location the price was good for that type of hotel. Free cookies at check in are nice but they didn't have any :( I watched some homeless person wipe their behind a block away on my arrival. The late night staff was grumpy and non-helpful.
Bathroom was uncomfortably small. Could not open door with someone standing at sink.
The hotel is extremely nice. The location is perfect in downtown. The staff members are friendly, helpful and are always there to assist. When we asked about a good place for breakfast they not only recommended a restaurant but took us there in the hotel limo. Our stay was super...! Bruce Having to leave.....
It was clean and the valets were fantastic! Food not that great, some friendly staff, some not. Very underwhelming.
$32 self parking ! Rooma not worth the price.
Garden & staff Bathrooms & No pool
The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cookies were unlimited. I would come back. NO POOL???? This is LA! 85 degree and NO Pool? Seriously? Also parking was crazy high! $35 a night to park at a hotel that I'M PAYING to stay at is just stupid. There should be complimentary parking. Ecspecially because they don't even guarantee your cars safely! What am i paying you for??
Everything costs $$
We stayed at the Sheraton downtown to be within walking distance to a hockey game at Staples Centre. The hotel location was great for this. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a renovated room which was very nice. The Sheraton hotels always seem to have the most comfortable beds in any hotel. The bed was the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at during our week long vacation. Linens and towels were great as well. We did not like the fact that we had to pay for wifi. A hotel of this star rating and price should have complimentary wifi for guests, especially since it is located downtown and I presume there would be many guests there on business. We also found that when we attempted web access without wifi that there was little reception on the 21 floor, so we were without web access that day. Our room was located 2 doors away from the elevators which was noisy. The water pressure in the shower was quite terrible.
I enjoyed the location of being downtown, with easy acess from the freeway. The staff particularly in the cafe was outstanding. I did not like the fact of not fully disclosing the cost per night for the room; Exam. the room was 115. plus tax. Great. Terrible, Occupany tax approximately $16. Parking, 28.00 per day. If one would have known those additional cost up front, one could have made additional accomodations. The money was not the object, the surprise element of not disclosing the true amount. I felt like this was a ploy of the unknown!Plus, I am approximately 6'3 and enjoy a bath tub. This room did not have a tub, instead a phobic shower that one could not litterally move around in. This was majorily dissappointing, however, hotel should be about comfort and convienece. Other than that, the Sheraton would do!
the marathon, the food
King size bed, big screen tv and at kayak price 100 less per day. 200 a good price per day.
The staffs were very helpful and the room are very need and comfortable to live in.
Nobody picks telephone at the reception. The front desk staff are either very few in number or they are not trained. I never got phone calls connected to my room inspite of calling the front desk manytimes. Due to this I had lots of problem.
The hotel is very nice, in front has a metro station and a drugstore.Macy's is aside and there is a lot of options of cafeteria and dinners near of hotel. The wireless internet is very expensive!!!
The bed was very comfortable I did not like that we could not crack open the window. There was no pool.
Would stay here again for a stay cation. Near all great restaurants. The lobby is gourgeous. Interesting tech for elevators.
Nothing I was over billed and nobody return my calls.
Overall experience/ patio
The view was great. Comfortable beds. The look of the rooms/ hotel was hip. Helpful and friendly staff. Some of the fixtures in my room didn't function properly.
Unique Place. Beds are comfortable - very interesting vibe - the staff was the greatest. Great Restaurant "Commissary" Very fun & unique. Rooms are way too loud with street traffic and club music noice! I'm sure if you get a higher floor it is better.,
I really thought the staff was really nice and very helpful even with young kids it was a fun place to stay
Everything about the line was excellent!!
Loved the giant windows! Very clean and comfortable rooms Commissary is beautiful Allowed for a great taste of Koreatown The features at the hotel were overcrowded by people not staying there which made it hard to want to use them.
Lived in K-town for 4 years and left 10 years ago. Even though area has changed a bit, love the area. Lots of GREAT restaurants, bars, nightlife. The hotel is trendy, urban and a great overall feel. I wish they had specials more often.
This hotel features an original gritty industrial loft ambiance. The scene and Pot restaurant are authentic homage to the character of the neighborhood, and the Commissary greenhouse restaurant is a unique and innovative concept. The pool area is a bit sparse and could use some prettying up / landscaping.
Unique features with hip atmosphere. Very clean and location was great. I had to change the room because it was next to the gym. My bed kept vibrating every time someone was using the gym. Also, the floor near the door way was wet throughout my stay. I don't why though.
- awesome staff! - awesome location - bar (Line bar & Break Room 86) - both popping places to check out; especially taking advantage of the location since its right under our rooms!
The Commisary staff, environment, and food were amazing. The room itself was well designed and had amazing views. Valet was quick and attentive. The elevators were slow and crowded. The brass handles in the shower were molded and rusty. The mattress was one of the worst I've slept on. The rooms were missing essentials like a coffee machine and toothpaste. I would have rather had both than the optional t-shirts for purchase.
staff was nice bed was comfy didnt sleep all night because of the air filter in the room hadnt been cleaned since the hotel was open and got a bloody nose at 4am because the air was so stale, fan didnt work, etc. now am so sick because of it
Pet friendly Creative room layout Easy access to other LA areas without having to get on the highways Fun nightlife in hotel Convenience of a great restaurant and bar within the hoteli I had a leak through the ceiling of my shower for my entire visit. After several attempts to resolve the problem, the problem persisted causing the bathroom floor to constantly remain very wet.
The hotel and athletic club is perfect for quick business trips and relatively inexpensive last minute bookings. I'm considering joining the club after this stay.
It was full of history and beautiful. Great location! The hotel and building itself was wonderful. Free breakfast. Parking is reasonably priced. Definitely going back again. Bed was slightly uncomfortable. TV was awkwardly placed and small.
Restaurant great for breakfast; gym was GREAT! Room comfortable and decently appointed. Bathroom a bit Spartan
Close to everything downtown and very Good Breakfast. I felt the parking should have been included with price I spent on the room!
Comfortable, pretty clean, LOOKS luxurious, all the basic amenities , good location (but you still need a taxi or a car) expired elevator inspection certificates, decor and interior design is booshie - you can tell they threw some decor over the old hotel, small pool, not enough towels, expensive for price
Great bar and restaurants on site. Great little shop with excellent variety of food and drink options along with adorable gifts. Great room service - yummy breakfast! Good customer service. King size room was great with no issues. Only minor comment we could make would be the hotel elevators - seem to be under renovation which is hopefully a good thing as they were a bit shaky and scary with one half of the elevators completely out of service.
They sold my reservation and wanted me to stay in a Sheraton in Universal city putting me about an hour out with traffic and my appointment was at 530pm in downtown LA and 7am at the LA hotel the next morning. They blamed Kayak and stated that "you" sell reservations when open reservations don't exist. They took no blame or responsibility. I had to stay in another hotel near LA hotel because my appointment was at 7am there at LA hotel! I want my money back
This hotel is in transition and making an very honest effort to make it into a destination for all travelers. They are doing a good job. change takes time and with that. Elevators are not up to par and there is a feeling of being in a "remodel" but the staff is great and I would return without pause ATM was a real pain. Have to follow up with my bank because it did the entire transaction but for giving me my money. Parking being a separate charge is a miss too
pay for internet access? noisy - next to freeway
It's cheaper than most LA Hotels. Have to pay for parking and wifi. They would allow guests to check in before me (my reservation). Have to check out at front desk.
The rooms were big as well as the bathrooms. The hotel itself was decorated nicely. When I was there, all but one elevator was broken and it would take 15 minutes or more for an elevator to come. There were lines of 20 people or more waiting on the elevator. It was awful. Also, valet is slow. The only parking is valet for $35/night which is fine, however it would take way too long to get your car. They weren't organized very well.
tHEY DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION BECAUSE ALTHOUGH I BOOKED IT IN kYAK THIS WAS ACTUALLY PROCESSED THROUGH A 3RD PARTY VENDOR . it took 45 minutes to get it straightened out.
Extremely not happy with my stay. The staff were the worst. Once we arrived they didn't open the door, the staff were talking together and ignore us. We took our bags by ourselves. We paid $35 for the valet parking per day and it wasn't worth the price at all. We have to wait for a long time to get the car. Also, the staff treated us very badly. If it's four stars hotel, they should have more sophisticated staff. Not worth the price. Not realistic in the reviews.
Room and bed were large and comfortable. The in-room coffee left something to be desired. The small packets of powdered creamer were barely enough for a small cup of coffee, even using both of them. And there were no glasses in the room . . just plastic cups.
comfortable rooms cheap toilet paper lack of tea bags expensive parking did not receive a thank you or how was your stay at checkout
Great price, service and convenience downtown. Very good breakfast. Moldy smell from A/C in our room. Expensive parking $40.
Very clean. nice staff. They put us in the room with the nicest view. The bed was very comfortable. Check out process was very easy, too. It was supposed to be a private balcony, but it was too open to the next balcony. There was no dividers between the balcony to balcony, so if the guests in the next room wanted to, they could just hop over to our balcony. It didn't feel safe.
The door to the toilet in 837 creaked
I enjoyed the history;the many photo's of celebrities ; the beautiful public areas and the restaurants .
the worst and dirty hotel i have been staying ever .. just awful stay ..
The staff was very accommodating and the location was good. The tub in our bathroom was disgusting, needs to be changed out,
The hotel staff was excellent and very nice. They were attentive and accomodating. The lobby and banquet rooms were beautiful. The common areas were a site to see. Great location for downtown. The rooms are run down and shabby. The rooms need a major updating. The furniture was old and worn. The bathrooms were small. The elevators were a nightmare!
The hotel was gorgeous and all of the staff members were very kind and answered my questions straight forward without trouble. Check in and Check out was very easy. I had difficulty confirming over the phone two nights before my stay.
Beautiful architecture, enjoyed all of the history around the hotel and the design. Also our upgrade to a suite! ;-) No room service after 11pm. fail.
It is at a good location. The decor is in a classy old traditional style. It is associated with a lot of history. Maintenance does not match the class: A light did not work. It was not fixed upon notification. The guest information binder was missing.
Historical, well maintained, beautiful hotel! Slightly small rooms, fridge would be good in the room.
The hotel is beautiful. The Mezzanine rooms we used for our meetings were unbearably cold and made it hard to concentrate. I had to wear a jacket the entire time.
The stay was comfortable, the staff was friendly, and the bar was fun.
clean, trendy, people eager to help pillows too big. shower not hot enough. room service slow
Free parking and courtesy vehicle to locations in 3 miles radius Not very conducive to walking around for a bite to eat.
I have some mixed feelings about my stay at Hotel Angeleno. It seemed like every good thing was followed by a "but." I picked up this hotel with an insane "90% off" sale on Expedia, so after taxes I was paying $50/night. They included valet parking for me, but my friend drove up to stay with me for a night and they wanted to charge him $25/night for parking. I had emailed and asked for a room with two beds, but they were unable to accomodate me. They sent me an air mattress which ended up deflating instantly, and they replaced with another air mattress which also deflated, though not as quick. They also brought me a fridge since the fridge in the room was more a "cooler" (their words). There was some hella loud construction going on in the hotel, so I didn't sleep as well as I'd have liked. And that was on top of the noise you hear from the freeway, which sounds like you left a door open. Other than all of that, the room itself was great. Not huge, but nice amenities and a comfortable bed, plus a coffee maker and a decent shower. Staff were all pretty friendly.
The amazing and friendly staff. The rooms were clean and comforting. The balconies provided privacy from the neighboring balconies. It takes too long to be reimbursed for the money deducted for incidentals at check-in.
Customer service overall was great. One person in particular went above and beyond to help me with staying in the same room all three nights. Thumbs up that parking is included in the price. My back hurt sleeping on the bed. That said, my back hurts on almost all beds; I have a hybrid at home. I don't like that you can't get the same rate for each night of a multiple-night stay. While the location is one/half mile from my cousins, I don't like being that close to the highway. I would, however, stay there again.
Friendly staff & nice restaurant & bar on top floor. Easy access to all LA areas. Very noisy. Just a few yards separates the building from the freeway. The staff suggested we keep the AC on to drown out the traffic noise. It was clean enough but I wouldn't call it a deal & overall nothing to write home about. Very car dependent. No restaraunts within walking distance except for the nice/expensive one in the hotel. I'll try another hotel on my next LA staycation.
Great restaurant. I was forced due to death in the family to reduce my stay by one night. The hotel, & booking agency was not forgiving at all & had to pay for the night i was not there. Upsetting & costly to say the least.
the location and the design of the pettit hotel, so nice!!
great mattress in the room noisy from the 405, very small room, barely any towels in the room, elevator not working, had to use stairs; you would expect something different at $300/night. No mini bar in room, just an empty fridge. It's out of the way to catch a 7-11 or something also, so you just have to remain thirsty or drink tap water (which I did!)
Like the friendly staff from the front desk It was not service at the pool And the service at the bar on the 17th floor
Convenience to freeway & house - left for termite tenting. Gym facilities very small.
I had a short and lovely stay at The Orlando Hotel. The staff was so nice, especially the concierge, Alan, who checked me in and immediately made me feel at home. I will definitely stay here again on my next L.A. Trip.
A great central location - friendly helpful staff - soft beds - spotless clean - Bar needs to be bigger ??? Never an open seat !
Great location, nice clean rooms, friendly staff. Little to no electrical outlet access for charging electronics.
You must pay for parking if you have / rent a car $17.00 a day. If paying for the room wasn't enoug. Second complaint wasnt a big deal til I needed more towels
Proximity to airport, nice clean & modern room, pretty good continental breakfast included and free airport shuttle Pool was locked shut even when "open" and when we told the staff about it they said they would fix but didn't get to it within a half hour so we just gave up on swimming.
Everything smelled like cigarettes smoke in the "non smoking" room. That ruined my stay. Everything smelled like cigarettes smoke in the "non smoking" room. That ruined my stay.
Awesome free breakfast. Nice clean room. I had to pay for the parking which was a bummer.
Comfy beds Clean Friendly staff Great free breakfast with hot food options Close to lax and to the freeway with access to Venice beach There were zero parking spots on our first night. We had to park at taco bell with a parking permit. Fortunately the front desk manager kindly waived the parking fees for our stay. Also our TV was in bad condition. Needed screen repairs
We only stayed one night to be close to the airport for an early flight. Check-in was simple and fast, restaurant in the Inn was ok and reasonable, room was very clean, bed was pretty comfortable. The pillows were like rags tied in knots and put in a pillowcase. The parking was hard to find, there were only a few handicapped spaces and they charged $17. a day to park there, I complained about both things and was told to go back to the 3rd floor get my car and put it in a 20 minutes space... Entering the parking, there is a sign that says if you lose your parking ticket it will cost $200.00 but the machine did not give us a ticket. The lady at check-in said, "Oh, we never enforce that. How were we to know? She did waive the parking fee since I said I was sorry I booked there and wouldn't be back because of the inconvenience and cost of parking.
Convenient location and nice breakfast included Blood stains on floor and our towels were pretty dirty as well. Wish there was a place to get iced coffee inside or nearby
Well i didnt like the false advertising of the pricing and they didnt make it easy when the dates where mixed up or justify the costs that they later added and double charged me and its been 4 days and i havnt recieved my refund
The shuttle they advertise never showed up and I was stuck waiting for over an hour in the rain. When I called the Front Desk, they said it was coming multiple times but it never showed. Eventually they told me they didn't know what happened and to take a cab.....an hour later. Horrible!
it is ridiculous for the hotel guests to pay for the parking, even being in the hotel
Great location, close to the airport for a late night arrival. Staff was very friendly, great rate and felt safe! Good, fast, breakfast cheap parking.
I liked that La Quinta let me store my bags with them before and after check out. Everyone was friendly. There were not enough electrical outlets and there wasn't good placement for the coffeemaker.
Construction while I was there. Difficult to sleep. Complained, got an I'm sorry. No notice before checking in. Would've stayed elsewhere
The hotel is fine if they charge 1/3 of the price. The hotel is definitely over-priced and the deco is modern but old. Bathroom is bad. I will not recommend this hotel to those who can afford high price but looking for a five-star hotel to stay.
Friendly staff, upscale rooms. Expensive! Auto - checkout printer did not work.
The location was perfect for use since we wanted to spend most of our time near Rodeo Drive , 5 minute drive from the hotel. Pool are was nice and clean, it has an indoor and outdoor bar. I will only be staying here from now on in Cali! I didn't dislike anything foturately :)
Excellent location, big room, excellent swingming pool, excellent restaurant, kindly staff, high quality. My advice: you are going to spend a lot of many in tips because of the excellent service.
The staff made you feel like they would willingly help..and I did have a few problems to sort-they went out of their way to help. The location was excellent for visiting The Getty. No, nothing
The restaurant is excellent. The distance to the pool.
Great design in the rooms and hotel in general, i.e. furnishing and good taste, well combined. Staff is absolutely lovely. Valet parking felt like a regime sometimes but that's just l.a. style I guess which one is not accustomed to. Accept for some valet parking attendants.
Its in a great location provided you have a car and the majority of the staff were very helpful and polite (though the person who checked us in was rather offhand and did not get the stay off to a great start). The room (118) was fairly dark with no view and noisy because of its location near the reception and clumping from guests staying upstairs, The bathroom facilities were cramped and very tired.
What a steal for this price! 5 star hotel by far! Exceeded my expectations. room was gorgious with all new appliances and furniture. Colors were neutral and inviting. Loved this hotel! will definitely stay here for any future Southern California trips!
This is one of our favorite hotels, boutique style and personalized service. Magnificent rooms, decor, everything! The garden was fantastic, the place very quiet despite its location at Sunset. A secret oasis.... This will be our home every time we are in L.A.
Convenient, easy to access freeway, near enough to go to Santa Monica. My room was not cleaned until afternoon.
Good location, Modern, Good service, Nice staff The vale parking is very convenient but not when there is an event going on.

Location $38 for parking with no alternative options
Pillows Overpriced parking @ $38 per day
Nice room and bathroom. Very large shower. Good location in LA. Front desk staff courteous and professional. Pulling into hotel from street is difficult. We had to circle twice around to find an open spot not blocked by cars that were also pulling in to the small overnight parking area.
Great staff, great location. Could you some cleaning and updating in lobby and corridors.
The wine and coffee hours The parking costs, cell phone service and the Internet speed
I couldn't use the handset of the phone. It wasn't working.
Very friendly and helpful staff Room was big, but bed was small
elevator noise was annoying; staff was great other than one issue see below elevator noise was annoying; I purchased two rooms - one for me and my wife and one for one of my employees. My employee was upgraded. Really?

The hotel was very clean. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very nice.
I really enjoyed the fact that right from the start, members of the front desk were friendly and attentive. In addition, everyone else encountered at the hotel was very nice and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Will be back for sure when I come back to the area!
Perfect for what I needed....a quiet, clean, comfortable room.
Will never stay there again. -Shower didn't drain -Urine all over the toilet -Overall unclean -Walls are so thin, that you can hear phone alarms going off -$18 for parking and $20 for breakfast -Inserted parking card into the reader and it didn't work
No wash cloths, not enough towels, and had to pay for parking was rediculi
This is a very disappointing and terrible hotel. I was trying to book the hotel on the Kayak mobile app, and somehow the last step of the reservation process wasn't successful, so I tried to book it again but the second time didn't work either. Two hours later, I got two confirmation emails from Kayak and said "you're book" and found out my credit card had been charged twice($256) by Holiday Inn, then I contacted kayak customer service right away. The kayak representative was helpful and willing to talk to the hotel and ask for a refund, however, after the representative explained the issue regarding the mobile app error to Holiday Inn LAX, the hotel refused to refund ONE PENNY to us, and claimed that's their "non-refundable" policy. During my years of travel, I have never experienced this kind of issue and I still don't understand why this hotel is willing to ruin their reputation by refusing to refund any money and not showing any understanding to their guests. *This is not a vicious verbal assault, this is based on a real experience.
Everything No complaints
The room was a one king size bed, very spacious and clean. Like it a lot Parking was very expensive and one shouldn't have to pay for parking for the rate this Holiday Inn charged.
The staff wad very helpful and respectful. This a very nice hotel. The Business Center was nice but limited for 15 minutes. There were a limited selection for the Tv. I wish there could have been more channel and more variety. Only thing I didn't like is that you have to spend over 7 dollars to use a credit card.
I liked the concierge. I liked that you have a bar.
Close to airport and shuttle service. Bed was comfortable. Room smelled musty. Not the cleanest place. Neighborhood is industrial / business. Left a necklace that was a gift in room. Called guest services. I was told they found it snd it would be mailed to me. 2 snd 1/2 weeks later no necklace.
Proximity to airport and courteous shuttle to LAX were great. The facility felt a bit dated. Some fresh décor would help.
One block from my rental car turn in......... great room.....mattress and TV quality excellent. Drapes would not close ................bright McDonalds lights also lit the room up but I was too tired.
Very comfortable bed & nice and clean. Hallway & room smelled like sweet tobacco. Very unpleasant !!!
Plenty of power outlet for phone charging Bed sucks , too soft
clean facilities, friendly staff. Hotel shuttle is very handy. A reasonably-priced option if you have an early-morning flight the next morning. Bathroom was strange- toilet kept running and we had to fix it (didn't bother calling the front desk- it was more of an annoyance than an issue...) sink was TINY, shower nozzle was very short.
You get a bedroom and a living room like suite for the price of a bedroom. Really good bedding that promotes a full night's rest. If you have to stay at LAX, this is a good solution but at 200/night, it isn't the cheapest option near the airport.
Spaciousness of the room, location, design. The rooftop should be available to hotel guests and their guests... not open to the public. That was annoying. Draws a really bad bridge-and- tunnel type crowd. It wasn't cool, so we left. It would have been nice to be able to create some kind of privacy between the shower and the main room... blinds or something.
It was a comfortable well-maintained hotel with a cool attitude. The staff were helpful, and the location well connected to other parts of the City. Wifi was definitely a plus!
The design is amazing. If you are an architect, this is the place to stay. This is also a great place to stay in LA if you are doing business in downtown. Not the best place to stay if you are on vacations. Better stay somewhere in Beverly Hills. Lacks a bit of comfort too, but nothing serious. The bed isn't as good as it should be, and there's a lack of privacy on the bathroom, which is all in glass. This is good for a lone guest.
Advanatges: location, value for money. Disadvantages: glass wall of bathroom make fillings as you washing in room itself. We found it wried. Expensive minibar, low position of bed and TV set. Poor room noise isolation, we heard everything what happening in corridors. Very poor restaurant downstears. After dinner we didn't tried to have breakfast (cream soup was very bad). Location, design.
Very goog bed
Very clean and tidy room, friendly stuff, close to subway station The shower was in plain sight of the rest of the room (glass wall) which is something that is only recommended for couples.
Not much...but the room service for food was prompt...food was so so... The service wasn't very good...I called and asked for extra pillows and had to call again and even then it took them over 2 hours to get them to us. It was definitely over-priced for what we got..no view of anything but another building.
Hotel was located just a few blocks from LA live area and restaurants. Very clean. This hotel was more trend than comfort. Bed was on the floor and bathtub was in the middle of the room. Staff claimed it was an upgrade!
the room is nice. location is perfect. Lobby needs complete make-over
Front office staff were helpful. Far too noisy. Every car that went past can be heard plus endless police sirens etc. Easily fixed by double glazing. Also corridors and courtyard etc were not clean. Minimalist furnishing is fine but it could include another rubbish bin in bathroom and one more chair as there is nowhere to put luggage during your stay.
