Fantastic location. We had an okay room. Restaurants are all incredibly expensive. You would expect much more for your money. We only had one bath robe, a small TV, and my front desk staffer was very unfriendly. She had me booked in three rooms for the same night and suggested I would have to pay all three. I said it was a mistake and eventually she got it sorted. For the price, you expect more. Would not recommend nor stay here again. I've stayed at SLS and Montr Carlo and would easily pick them instead.
Comfortable bed and spacious room. I appreciated the fitness center and the various weights and cardio machines. However, it was located quite a distance from the rooms. You had to walk the entire casino floor, past the lobby to get there. You're really paying for the location on The Strip. The room was nice but what comes out to be over $322/night including all taxes, etc the room and accommodations themselves weren't worth it.
I loved the décor, most of the staff, and conservatory. The show (O) was great too! We had a couple of issues with staff, the main on being the guy who "checked" the keys before entering the elevators was rude and not at all consistent with who he checked (both in our favor and against). When my husband asked him about it he was combative and obnoxious.
location is good, I thought the overall cleaniness of of facility starting to look a little tired, rooms were ok but house cleaning did not do a good job for making up room.
bed was very comfortable; food was good; everyone very helpful noisey room, no place to get away from smoke, needs several coffee shops 2 for s not enough
Hotel property is impressive They dont provide any complementary breakfast or for that matter a cup of coffee
Location is excellent and the hotel has a lot of nice amenities. The fitness center is well equipped. The conservatory was beautiful, as always. Check-in on Thanksgiving Day was packed, and we waited about 30 minutes in line. It seems like there could be a better system. Parking garage was incredibly crowded and, in fact, we had to park at another hotel one night because it was full. The air handling system is not as good as other hotels. It was incredibly smokey, even inside the buffet where smoking is not allowed but apparently diffuses into the dining area from the casino. And we had to trek through the casino to get to and from the elevator to our room, so we could not avoid the smokey air. They should look into removing the chlorine taste from the tap water, perhaps a reverse osmosis system or charcoal filter, at least for the water served in the restaurants. The bathroom had loose pieces of silicone caulking all over the floor. Of course, everything was quite expensive, from the mini-bar items to the hotel cafes/coffee shops to the water sold in the hotel shops ($5.25 for 1 liter) to the parking ($10/day).
Excellent location. I forgot an item and it was found. It will be mailed to me. Staff were very kind and friendly. A lot of tourists and visitors in the hotel. It is busy at all times.
fountain resort fee and parking fee. Room which was upgraded smelled like vomit.
Pretty hotel. They started to charge for parking!!! (This was not notify earlier in the booking) They give us room keys that don't work. ( happens more than one time) The walls don't cancel noise. I could still hear other people talking and in the middle of night. Placed unauthorized charge on the room for no good reason. Had to call to Ask the staff to make it correct, took very long time. Bad attitude also at one point they hung up on us. Iineffective staff that's was rude made the stay even more frustrating. Buffet quality of food, taste and atmosphere had lower dramatically!!!!!
Very luxurious, huge casino, welcoming staff. Fountains are a great attraction especially at night. We had problem to check in. Hotel didn't receive reservations from Kayak/Amoma. Took two hours and dozen phone calls to finally chek in. The pool area was great except there almost no sunshade umbrellas which are a must in Vegas sun.
The manners of all the staff we spoke with as remarkably polite, helpful and respectful. Beautiful hotel, loved the big spaces and the art in the rooms, the piano player in the lobby, the flowers, the amazing massage I had in my room, the quick and helpful response by reception and how delightful all the receptionists were. Perfect location and amazing view to the fountain. Got amazing cosmetics by a promoter who was there for the plastic surgery conference. A can of hot chocolate is $15-$23. C'mon people, it would come on a golden platter brought by a stripper for that amount. Everything else was perfect.
I really like the placement and decoration of the suite room, and for the restroom, the shower and bathtub are seperated, it is very good. It is a little complex for going to my room from lobby.
Very nice room, big, new, great bathroom. Very good location. Service is horrible. They didn't find my reservation (had to wait for 20 min during checkin). There were sticky glass stains on the night table! The TV had poor signal, they came to repair it and were from 11pm to 12:30pm in the room trying to solve it without success (the first technisian just came to say to me to call again since his shift was ending at 11pm). The most surprising thing was that at 8 am a maid came into the room shouting room service!!! (can you imagine at 8am in Vegas?)...really horrible considering the price and being the famous Venetian...never again.
The pools. The large bedrooms. Choice of restaurants/cafes. Location. Having to walk through the casino.
good dining, calm, perfect location
View room description is misleading. Only view was of empty pool. View limited view of strip. Save the $40 per night for upgrade. There at of the hotel was awesome. Will come back with standard room.
Amazing, I stayed in acouple of other hotels in las vegas and this one by far is the best, the room is amazing as well as the hotel- in the 2nd floor thair r the resturent as well as the shopping place and a mini river, you can even go on one of the small bouts there - its just amazing Well my room dint have a good viwe, I didnt want to pay more for that but I end up regrating that :p
The size of the hotel. Plenty to look at. Location on the strip. Good casino. I didn't get the room I booked.
The architecture of the hotel ; hospitable staff and professional hotel management. The suite size and furnishing is luxuriously perfect for a couple on a leisure holiday. Between Venetian and Palazzo, you will not want to go anywhere else!
Very well organized for such a huge resort. We were warmly received & guided to our room.
Size of rooms beautiful deco People yelling in the corridors at 3am
Had a great coupon deal for one night at a wonderful, classy place. Sharp, professional, top-notch hotel!! The Casino floor was busy and there are a lot of hotel restaurant choices. My favorite experience was at check-in: when the line at mid-morning got a bit long, I watched a manager quickly find another six or eight staffers for registration and 'boom' the line was gone and I and others were taken care! Smoking in the casino, but that is everyplace in Las Vegas.
everything but the wifi please up you wifi game!! It is one of the most important features!
Staff were awesome to deal with. Very friendly, from check in, cleaning staff, to check out! Nice hotel, and the food was great. I found the casino was smokier than others on the strip. As a non-smoker, I found this discouraging. And the walk from the strip was a bit of a pain.
Aria has a great location on the Strip. Very convenient to check out Bellagio founrains, nightlife at Cosmo or just staying within rhe City Center confines. Its a bit smoky in the casino area but not any more than others.
Smoking in casino
Great customer service
Very beautiful place, very stylish. There are tons of restaurants, shops and art pieces throughout the property. There's a night club Jewel there too. The concierges are super helpful. You can check in and out online. The hotel is situated well, can easily cross over to Cosmopolitan nearby. There's also a free tram, which can take you to Bellagio. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and hope to come back again sometime. The pools and the hot tubs hours are 9 to 5. I was at Aria for a conference and 9-5 is when its activities are taking place each day, which made it difficult for me to enjoy the pools and the hot tubs. Managed to do it just one day, when the conference activities finished an hour and a half earlier. We did have our conference's party by the pools, but I'm thinking not every day they must be using the pools area for private events...
Nice, but not 5 stars
Room amenities were excellent, the integrated technology made it an exciting new experience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom layout was also superb. The floor in the bathroom wasn't not clean to the 5 Star level. My wife drop her earring and I ran my hand across the floor to retrieve it and it came up completely covered in dirt and dust, would not expect this form a 5 Star rated resort.
Cleaningness, easy access from rooms to casino, and restaurants. Resort fees not necessary especially when the pool is closed.
Sadly nothing, it has turned into a smelly hotel full of hookers. The hookers were the least of my problems. This was my 4th stay here, but after checking in, and spefically asking for a non smoking room, they lied to me. After arguing for 3 hours, and my wife crying the whole time, I had to leave, with no refund whatsoever.
No one came clean the room
I like the attendant at check in. there were flexable. The rate was awesome. They work with me to add another day
The location was excellent Overwhelming smell of cigarettes. The only room available was a smoking room. Which smelled like cigarettes
Plug , we charge phone other bed don't have one . You have to charge away from bed .
Not enough outlets in the room nor were they convenient. A coffee maker would have been wonderful. Getting coffee in the morning was extremely inconvenient.
Nothing How they made you pay a mandatory 32 fee for no reason at all. Never going back
I found it very confortable, the location was great
The rooms were pretty tiny, not even enough space for luggage storage. Windows were probably not cleaned for a week and extremely dirty to actually see the strip. The casinos just smelled of body odor, old carpets and smoke. Uninviting! Oh then there was the buffet. Stale sushi, driest chicken steak in the world, then there was the canoli that would have been great if I had a dog cos they are the only ones who could stomach that bad food. Overall it was a bad experience for the "resort" fee they charge. Not much really other than that the staff were very nice.
Decent value. The staff was super nice, especially Angie, one of the casino floor cocktail waitress, she was the best! Check-in and check-out were a snap, All in all it was a pleasant experience. The rooms are decent, The location on the strip is good, It's cool there is a CVS in the hotel. I've stayed a nicer hotels, but then again, you get what you pay for. I would stay here again. Our waitress at Senior Frogs... she sucked.
Location BEWARE! MY FRIEND WAKE IP WITH MANY BIG SPIDER BITRS IN THE NECK, THE STAFF WAS UNRESPONSIVE, WE FILLED A REPORT THT IS HANDLED BY AN "EXTERNAL" COMPANY. WE HAD 4 ROOMS, SOME DAYS THE ROOMS WERENT CLEANED WHEN WE RETURNED AT 8-9pm
We upgraged for the king spa suite, we received half mini bar empty and half can of sprite (someone drank it and put it back to the bar) they only give 1 shampoo, one soap and etc... but we were a couple! The hallway was always loud, doors shutting and screaming, i called and say on advanced its our honeymoom, expected a little more and unfortunately was really disappointed. The phones at the room are from the 50's. And the room wasnt real clean. Looks old, not enough lights. Location Bathroom was horrible. The sink was clogged and the water pressure in the shower was too low to take a comfortable shower. Told the front desk but no one came to look at it.
Nothing My reservation was never booked. I arrived there from a 6 hour flight and did not have a place to stay. I had to stay on the phone with Getmearoom.com for two hours. My daughter was tired. Had to go to another hotel. I will never use this web site or Kayak again. Worst experience of my life.
- Close to bus line - Central location - A/C unit constantly ran, even on AUTO!! - Smoke smell inside non-smoking room - Room very dark (WEST) - Inconsistent water heater - Vanity sink did not drain well - Overall, room did not seemed as "Fresh" as expected
Room was well appointedvand clean. Staff very nice and friendly. Great new morimoto restaurant. Casino air was pretty dank. Major partiers hauling in coolers 2 at a time.
The price was right the decor is a bit ourdated
Our housekeeping lady really nice There casino employees were very rude and in a way racist
The hotel keys didn't work when I first arrived at the hotel and had dragged my stuff up to my room. When they didn't work I was pretty bummed, but the cleaning service who were nearby were kind enough to let me into the room and get in touch with the front desk for me. They were gracious and upgraded me without hesitation.
Room service never came in day before we left. Ran out of toilet paper. Ice machine was broken. Told to go to another floor for some. Outlets on wall don't hold your plugs they fall out.
room was given away and no reservation. had to argue for 30mins to finally get a room at 3AM.
It's in an amazing location close to everything. The restaurants are great and the shows are amazing. Also, the housekeeping staff were really nice and attentive. Some of the casino staff were extremely rude and condescending.
We arrived early in the am so our room wasn't ready, so they offered us an upgrade to a suite for a very reasonable rate, we took it. The room was very comfortable, and I liked having the extra space. Everything was clean, the temperature in the room was perfect, as I like to warm, and my husband likes it cool. (we traveled in Jan). I liked the convenience of the tram which stops at several hotels as you work your way north to the Stratosphere. I also enjoyed the spa, getting a massage and using the whirlpool and sauna too. The staff all around the hotel was incredibly friendly. I would stay at MGM again. What I missed was a clock, a coffee pot, and a refrigerator to put our leftover food in. You can't use the mini bar fridge for food or you get fined $50. You have to rent a separate fridge for $25 which I think is totally ridiculous.
Location is good Room is old! Not good view and the morning we were waiting for bell staffs for 20 min for leaving our stuffs.
Nothing Hair all over Tv didn't work And smelly
Front desk staff (Heidi from Germany) was kind, genuine, and offered an upgraded room at no extra charge since the room I booked was sold out. Cute view, clean room, super comfortable bed and pillows. For a last minute booking, this was a great value for the price! I really don't give any credence to the negative reviews this property had; I typically stay at Grand Hyatt properties, and honestly was nervous after reading the reviews. All I can say is my room was great. Bed and pillows were super comfortable, easy checkin/checkout, everything was clean, and I liked the lighting. What the heck are people complaining about!!!! Could have used a coffee pot in the AM
It took over an hour to check in, had a bad experience with a bar tender gave a bad attitude because I sat down at the bar and I already had a beer in my hand which a waitress had brought me while I was playing.
Ok value for the price. Strip is fun once you hit New York New York Smoking indoors is still legal there? Really? Disgusting lobby.
Great spot on the strip for great value It was just ok
Room was comfortable Wifi was good for general browsing (did not test streaming) Wifi available throughout the building Buffet was cheaper than most Some nice restaurants Room cost was low Fast and Easy Checkout I arrived at the hotel at 11:30 PM and had to wait for nearly an hour while 3-4 groups in front of me checked in. The check-in process was cumbersome and the resort fee is ridiculous. The fee is just a way of showing a lower price on booking sites only to nail you when you get to the hotel. Food offerings in the hotel were sparse and expensive. I had to pay $10 for a hamburger (no fires, no drink) at the Johnny Rockets as this was the lowest cost option available. I will say this does seem to be a trend not only in this hotel but most others. Being in Las Vegas in general is like staying in an airport the entire time you are there, everything costs double what it would in the rest of the country. When I woke up the following morning I found that there was an ironing board but no iron. Outside of this minor inconvenience, no other issues with the room. The major complaint that I had regarding this hotel is location. In order to get to the monorail to get to other parts of the strip and downtown, you have to cross multiple bridges and go through the entire MGM grand casino which is a maze in and of itself. This, coupled with the fact that at any given time half the escalators going up and down these bridges made the trip every day to the monorail extremely inconvenient. When coming back one night, I was not even able to cross over one bridge and ended up having to backtrack all the way around New York New York to get there. While I do not blame the hotel for this shortcoming, it does create a difficulty for anyone travelling on business. When you consider the MGM grand average rate was $90 a night and my rate ended up being nearly $70 a night, it would be worth the extra money not to have to deal with this hassle and be in a much nicer hotel, casino, and shopping area.
Responsive customer service addressed concerns quickly. Convenient location on the Strip. Still felt expensive given what we got. First room smelled like sewage and had trash on the floor. We requested a room change. New room had a broken lamp, broken soap dish, not enough soap, and a toilet that would stick and keep running water. Blankets were very thin; we were cold at night and had to get an extra set of blankets. Wifi was spotty. Costs extra to get/use a mini fridge.
Since I was there on business, Wifi was VERY important to me and that feature was outstanding. It was easy to use and lots of bandwidth. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms were clean and had an updated design, getting rid of the silly bathtub. Blinds didn't work and were partially open. Could not be closed completely or opened up complete. 2 notes to staff using the provided form on 2 days were ignored. Shower drained slowly ironing board was not put back. (2 days)
Had a good time, nothing extravagant. it was a 3 star hotel at a 3 star price. I would stay at Excalibur again. The pool was closed during our stay in late December, which was an annoyance due to fact that access to the pool was a part Of my "resort fees". Also when I booked my room I read that parking would be free, which was completely false. Parking was $8 per day,$13 per day for valet.
The person who checked us into the hotel did not do our room keys right and do we had trouble the whole time getting in and out of the park lot and our room.
We enjoyed the convenience of being on the strip. Nice weight room, great shopping on site. Fun entertainment for the whole family. We enjoyed the food court options and Gane room. Rooms were clean and well maintained.
Mattresses were comfortable there There was a hole in the wall, walls are too thin
Did not stay at main Hotel they have 4 buildings away from Hotel name Manor worst experience very far from main lobby I was angry this was not told to until I checked in.
cheapest in town. staff does not care about the customers
room smell of cigarette so horrible folks.
Had the choice of 28th floor or casino floor at check-in...had an amazing view!
Circus Circus is a clean affordable facility. May be they can provide a daily newspaper.
Easy check in, very convenient location, great prices for the last minute & the Manor was clean. I just wish there was a mini fridge in the room.
The staff knew how bad the place is, yet took personal pride in trying to make the stay work for their customers. I have never stayed in a worse hotel. They may be out there, but I haven't stayed in them.
Toilet seat wouldn't stay up. No small wash rags for shower, even after calling front desk to get some brought over. Light bulb in lamp was out. A C unit made excessive noise.
No one thing Absolutely poor customer service. The cashier at the lobbie had a HORRIBLE FACE AND HORRIBLE ATTITUDE
There is a lot to do on site. Gaming, food, shopping...etc Room was listed as having wi-fi...nope. Carpet in room was gross...matted & filthy Room had ice bucket, but no ice machine to be found on our floor Wall paper peeling from wall Granted, I booked this room because of the low price, but will absolutely spend the extra $20/night in the future for a better experience.
Not a lot For being on the strip, this place is extremely rundown. You're better off staying on Fremont St. and paying a whole bunch less
We booked a suite and we had access to the prestige lounge which was very comfy and practical. The location was great and the complimentary internet was highly appreciated.
Amazing stay. This is what 5 star is all about. They will make you feel at home. I can't say enough and would recommend to everyone.
i liked the rooms and every thing was good
The location of the hotel is good, on the strip. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. The cleaners were very good. The headboard above the bed was very dusty. All of the hotel's common parts; casino, bars, restaurants and shops had a horrible smell. Apararntly this "smell" is put into the air conditioning system to keep people there! Well it kept us out of the hotel. We only slept in our room and then left each morning to eat and drink elsewhere.
The staff were friendly and helpful and did not linger for a tip. At check in you had to wait while viewing staff who appeared to not be doing anything. There were no automatic doors to enter the lift area from the carpark like there were at the Bellagio. This made it difficult to carry bags to the lift.
Beautiful accomodations excellent restaurants The room was never cleaned by the maid service
The quality and comfort of the furniture and furnishings ,especially the bed. The pool and the ease of access to the Venetian Yes, the seperate door of the WC
Very nice cosy room I got. Comfortable bed, that matters most to me. Check out time was 11:00 which was too early. I doubt they would have granted late checkouts.
Style, luxury, space and accessories in room
Wonderful room, central location on the Strip. Access to the hotel/casino from the basement car park is not well signposted at the far ends of the car park.
Nicely appointed and comfortable. The two small water bottle per day policy
The hotel is nice, with very nice staff. Easy to get to otherhotels and casinos on the main strip. The lack of a casino at the Vdara makes this a little bit quieter. Unlike most hotels in Vegas, the Vdara does not have self-park. You can use the Aria's, but it is a long walk under the hot sun. Valet is $18/day and includes in-and-out priveleges. Not a bad deal, but still something worth taking into account. The suites in the Vdara only contain one bed. If you're traveling with a friend or co-worker, this could get a little awkward as the fold-out couch is anything but comfortable.
We loved that the hotel did not have a casino. It was a nice break from the lights, noise, and smoke you experience at other hotels and resorts. Walking to nearby attractions like the Aria, Cosmo, and shops were easy too.
Clean new Lower key Close to cosmo Pool just ok
Kyle helped checked us in and he was great. I was in a bad mood and he turned that right around and the rest of the weekend was sweet!
The staff was amazing. Gretchen was fantastic when I checked in and she really took care of us down there! The location, too far from the strip
It is very disappointing to have one of my favorite hotels play games with charges. Parking is $18 and the resort fee is $32; so, if you are comparing prices to other similar hotels, you need to add $50. And, I challenge you to find these charges in anything published by the hotel or the consolidators.
Vdara is an awesome resort! I stayed on the 53rd floor and the view is just amazing. My only criticism is the $18 per night parking fee & high resort fee, ouch.
Non-smoking and no casino A bit of a walk to the convention centers.
Quiet, fully non smoking hotel with beautiful rooms. Service was outstanding. WiFi issues. Dining very limited
My bathroom sink was broken and I notified the staff an they never made an attempt to fix it. Also they almost mistakenly moved my stuff out of my room. Good thing I was leaving as they arrived to do so. The food onsite is bad and expensive - not a lot of options as you basically have to go over to the Aria to get anything
friendly staff helpful staff pillows were too hard heater didn't work noisy
Decent location Shows on property Rooms are worn and in need of refresh Pervasive smell of smoke
After a very long drive, our room was ready and waiting for us. We were offered an upgrade, though I think that may have been because they ran out of rooms in the area we had booked. Very nice and accommodated my request for a non-connected room. We arrived to find that after so many years, parking is no longer complimentary. It seems not too many people are upset about that though, given how difficult it was for us to find a parking space. Everything one usually finds standard in a hotel room now must be rented here (i.e. a refrigerator).
Hotel was adequate, but furnishings a bit worn and outdated. Needs self check in kiosk to speed up process - long check in lines result in poor first image...
The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The heater/fan in the room did not work well and was extremely loud. My reservations were lost and while they located the reservation no one apologized to me or even talked to me. I was just told to wait which took over 10 minutes. The restaurants are ok at best. They are not hip or anywhere near other restaurants at other hotels.
I loved th athmosphere, not too much, not too little. Something for everyone. The place it's beautiful and a lot more interesting than the other ones. The tv channel selection wasn't much to brag about but I didn't really watch much tv. It sucked that it was rainy and cold so I couldn't really use the pool.
Food and beverage extremely overpriced. Typical vegas.
Check-in line was an HOUR long. Rooms are of urgent need of an upgrade.
No coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator.
The hotel was a very good place to stay, it was a little bit pricey for the quality of room we was in. The shows sold out too quick and the rooms were lacking.
Super long check-in lines Dirty towels No microwave No fridge The toilet didnt flush well You have to pay for parking even if you're a hotel guest. The parking lot is super far from the hotel There is not enough parking
Upsetting you have to pay for parking customer service very poor my deposit hasent been refunded yet I won't stay there again
Hotel staff very accommodating. Good restaurants. Unavailability of MLife staffing and rude behavior when leaving. Always had discounts when checking out. No longer.
Overall layout and variety of restaurants was hreat
Linens, beds, and pillows were very comfortable. The hotel has a cool look. Rooms were dated and the roller coaster could be heard in the middle of the night in the room. There aren't many bars.....we had to choose between Mexican dancing and a piano bar where they were charging a cover, even for hotel guests.
It was clean. The staff was very accommodating. I would stay there again. It's right on the strip and there's easy access to everything.
The night clubs really rock. The restaurants are outstanding. Everyone was fantastic there. The shows and the clubs are edgy and not appropriate for kids. We went for our 25th anniversary and I was afraid perhaps I should have spent more. Wow, we had such a great time. It was the memory I was hoping to make. For the price, it is a great value!
Bathroom faucet was broken and there was no coffee maker. Really loud at night.
I took my best friend for his birthday. We spent the night at the New York New York aND from checkin to check out it was awesome. The times square piano bar was where we ended our night singing at the top of our lungs and that was after eating some of the best pizza in Las Vegas! Also the rollercoaster is pretty awesome too. Worth the money. Obviously the smoke is a turn off but they allow smoking in all of the casino's there so that is hard to get away from. Also War yep good old fashioned higher card wins is a game they have there but some nights it is closed that sucked.
New York New York NY Hotel has been I go to place for Las Vegas for many years. Has a great location, decent food service within the complex, and a okay Casino. The property is simply getting tired... It's time to do the overhaul of the entire facility especially the rooms.. casino. I don't believe the furniture is been changed within the bedrooms and for many years.
The hotel was outstanding, as usual. Clean and efficiently operated, the staff takes pride in this hotel. Make your hotel reservation at any website but Kayak. My choice for airline reservations, their partner group for hotel stuff---not so much A drink coupon with our room upgrade never materialized. The state of Nevada now mandates that parking along the strip costs 10 bucks a day, so plan to walk a lot. Casino is run by corporations that focus only on profit. Likely will opt for Indian casinos over any Nevada venue going forward. (Will still run to the Nevada border for ammo since I live in Cali.)
Hotel was good. No micro oven and fridge in room
Didn't like the roller coaster view (patrons screaming). Light sleepers should request a room farther away from the roller coaster.
Nice decor. Nice staff. Rooms are a good size. Telephone next to the toilet a little too much though! LOL TV in the bathroom mirror was cool. The bed was comfy, and the sheets were nice. The TV channels suck. Need to bring my Chromecast next time. The in-room food is too expensive and not excellent. The free shuttle service only goes as far as the shops at the Venetian/Palazzo.
Nice rooms, great staff, very luxurious. Ran out of some food items and bar items. Might have been a fluke. Not many bad qualities. Near the Wynn and treasure island but everything else needs a cab or uber.
Loved that there was no smoking and no casino. Good security. Nice kitchenette. Didn't feel like they were out to gouge me for every penny like the other place we stayed at in Vegas. Would have liked a better area to watch the football game with bigger TV in the restaurant/lounge. Not unique to Trump but I don't like the resort fee or the forced gratuities in Vegas.
The room was wonderful, view beautiful, great location Coffee @ the bar, very expensive. Service @ the pool restaurant very poor
Elegant simplicity. The rooms were very nice and clean. The hotel itself was also very affordable when I compared it with others and it was close enough to the strip, this was the determining factor to go with this hotel. It's also next to the Fashion Mall, which is nice if you live to shop. I love working out so a bigger Gym and and Spa would be a nice bonus.
Overall great facility, but unable to cool the room was a bit disappointing...coming from Alaska, low 70s for a room temp is uncomfortable.
Nice view, nice jacuzzi bathtub for two, comfortable bed, nice bathrobes, nice kitchenette with top appliances (but who's going to cook in during a shortstay in Las Vegas with so many restaurant options?) Shuttle service to the strip. In room "safe" mounted to a drawer -- how safe is that? We could hear the freight train horns and motorcycles below from the 46th floor. Overall this hotel lacked attention to details. Terrible shower head, Surprised to see their service & housekeeping staff using the guest elevators. Clock was set an hour late. No slippers. Had to ask for a luggage rack. Breakfast meal arrived cold in the restaurant. Off strip location. No self-parking.
I like everything about this hotel... hassle free parking with their valet. Courteous staff, big sized room, huge bathtub which can fit 3 people in... and this was just their ordinary room. It's too comfy we don't want to leave the hotel room :)
No gambling no smoking great They have a large tv in the Pool table section how did not work for days I mention it no body care very disappointing during Basketball and Hockey play off
The entry level room was amazing compared to other hotels Nothing bad to say
It was off the strip. More quite and relaxing
I loved the comfort and helpful staff. Everything was absolutely gorgeous, and quite clean. The views were AMAZING! As the location is placed perfectly at the end of the strip for a vantage point. However, the location can be a huge crux as f you wanted to do anything on the strip, you need to catch a $15 cab at minimum. The restaurant inside the hotel also leaves MUCH to be desired, as breakfast was consistently half an hour for basic (orange juice / coffee) drinks - and a hour and a half wait for food. It was close to these times for all three times I gave it a shot as it was convenient.
we came for the new year but all the bars and the clubs of the hotel were acupaied by companies that resurve it for privent event.... what about the hotel gust??/
The Hotel was BEAUTIFUL. We went for my birthday, had an amazing suite, amazing room and view. We booked this place because we heard it was the #1 party hotel Our very first morning in, we had a man next to us complain we were too loud. First of all - it was just myself and my partner and there's no way were disruptive enough for him to complain. It looked like he had kids in his room so possibly that's why? Then again, don't bring your children to the #1 party hotel if you want peace and quiet... The worst of it all though was our FIRST NIGHT after the morning incident, our neighbor complained again and actually made up that we were in a physical fight/destroying our room... Police came and interrogated us immediately and let us go - seeing we had not gotten in any fight nor touched the room whatsoever. The hotel ended up kicking us out, banning us for life, and did this all on my birthday over the "nature of the complain"..... I'm not sure how we were treated so horrible for something we were proven by POLICE we didn't do. Worst security and service ever. We went to Luxor had no complaints and our loudest friends were in MGM - also had no complaints.
I travel to Vegas semi-often and never stay at the same hotel/casino twice. This was the first time I've stayed here 2 times in a row. I love balconies in the rooms. We've stayed on the 50th floors before and the view is outstanding. It's nice to be able to hang out on your balcony and be out in the open rather than just staring out a window like most places on the strip. The casino is really cool. The décor is fabulous and the restaurant selection is pretty good in the lower floor mall. Only a few minor maintenance issues. The one sink in the master bathroom was clogged. A light fixture was broken at the stem. There was no laundry bag or list of laundry prices in any of the closets. There was no price list for the extras in the room. EG:Liquor, snacks etc. Other than that. The rooms are beautiful and I still enjoy staying there.
From the service to the room upgrade, this was such a wonderful stay. My friend and I loved everything about this hotel. Hands down my favorite in Vegas (I've stayed at many other hotels on the strip) and will be coming back each time! The marquee pool parties were a bit loud even with our balcony doors shut, but if you're looking for a quiet vacation, that's hard to come by in Vegas wherever you stay ;)
The pool. The food. The drinks. The casino waitresses. 50% of the pitt bosses. The pinball slot machine. The lobby decor. Short taxi lines. Identity club desk staff. Almost everything about the rooms. They were dirty, smelled like wet dog, and dull. The sheets and towels were dirty and the tub looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks. Because it's pet friendly, the carpets and furniture look warn out and unappealing. Other bads....not enough black jack tables and the other 50% of the pitt bosses.
The location is the best part. The Cosmopolitan is at the center of everything. The Cosmopolitan has serval great restaurant options covering a variety of types of food and at various price points. The Cosmopolitan Staff is accommodating, professional and friendly. The hotel is showing some wear and tear but overall looks very nice. I was there for a girls weekend and my girls and I love Bravo. It would've been nice in our limited amount of downtime to be able to watch Bravo (hello, Real Housewives is life). Lol. Lastly it would be nice if there was more seating near the pool at the Boulevard Pool. This could be accomplished by opening up the reserved chairs on days/times when the pool isn't busy.
Room was spacious and clean Pools seem small
Okay Resort fee
Checked in and room was not clean. However, free upgrade to a better room and great service more than made up for it. And they also gave us additional food vouchers at hotel. Beauty and Essex was a very good restaurant. Staff was always friendly and helpful and ensured they followed up daily due to room issue. Our view of Beallagio fountains and Paris was fantastic. Room was dirty at first but they went above and beyond to make up for it.
Upgraded us to a suite room for our first stay at the Cosmopolitan! Thanks Cosmopolitan for the great stay!
The view from the wraparound suite was awesone! Nothing!
There reservation system was down and although I arrived at 7 at night and then waited 2 1/2 hours for a room, they had no back up for registering a room and could not tell me when I would get one - so I left and drove to another hotel. At 12:00 that night they called to let me know they could register me.
Beautiful and well kept. Can find as nice of places for less money. Not much to do other than gamble. Even lounge bar was tough to get into. Can be long waits for restaurants.
Our first time at Wynn but it definitely will not be our last. The hotel rooms were roomy and comfortable. The casino, restaurants and bars were first rate. We even enjoyed the Buffet! An A+ experience!
Rooms were high tech Lack of nonsmoking rooms almost sent me to the ER
Staff is great, room was great. We had an amazing time The buffett there has gotten famous and now there is a 1.5 hour line to get in. I feel guests of the hotel should have their own line so we can eat some breakfast.
I liked the rooms, the comfort of the bedroom and bathroom. Cleanliness is not outatanding though. We had to request shower gel to get it. It was not available at first for instance. I didn't like the way staff behave and ibteract with us at the casino. It was not an atmosphere that encourages people t play cheerfully
Eat, gambled, swam, sat poolside, caught some sun, drank, and did I say eat? Found myself winning on the tables and that always makes for more fun. Large room. Big bath. great view all things at the hotel were great but I can't believe I got scammed on the ride from the airport....I was just so tired and had just had a three hour delay before finally taking off.....the taxi do not take the highway......if you see highway, you are getting taken for an extra $20, plus I tipped the guy.....
Everything was nice
I always love the gardens, the comfy casino seats, employees willingness to always be helpful, cleanliness, air quality isnt bad, detail in the overall decor... etc., etc.
Unfortunately, their computer system went down and they did not have a back up. All of the slot machines had to been hand paid which took over two hours. No one was able to check in or out during this period of time. This happened on a Friday night (6/3/16) at approximately 9:15PM. I was stuck waiting to be paid a minor amount so that I could leave and make it to a dinner reservation. I finally left the slot machine to another player as I was meeting friends and would have been late.
There were no convenient arrangements for a simple cup of tea or coffee in the guest rooms which by the way is complimentary at most hotels.
Chris, at hotel registration, is smart and incredibly personable. Large well maintained room. Great shopping for high rollers. The cost for what was received: no coffee for the coffee maker, no traditional coffee shop with a decent menu on the premises and ice maker was apparently broke down.
Spring for the Petite Suite, well worth it!
Loved our room asst
I was given a king size room even though I specifically requested a 2 queen room. I had to call several times for someone to help. I the end I had to give in to a rollaway bed as I was too tired to continue waiting.
Shopping, food and location. For the money I spent, I could have stayed at a much nicer hotel with a view of something besides a rooftop and the backside of another Caesars tower. It was a very disappointing room. I'll go back to The Cosmopolitan or The Bellagio next time.
Easy for me to charge my cell phone, Ipad I do not think, the room is vacuumed on the daily basis as I happened to see thing laying on the floor. Room Coffee is not free of charge, correct? My next trip to Las Vagas to see Mary and Dony show will be unlikely Ceasar, but I might change my mind.
Nice clean rooms Charges for internet, resort fee, etc. They just try to squeeze every penny out of you. I don't mind paying for things but I hate getting ripped off.
Staff friendly and helpful and room imaculate Lack of staff at check in only 1 staff member after 20 mins another person arrived
the pool area is amazing the interior of the hotel is so beautiful, customer service in on track, and lots of privacy. that we can't take our own food/drinks to the pool, not too many bars open when the pools opens and i can't believe graygoose with red bull is 23.00 !!!!! thats all i drink, i had my own liquor and red bulls couldn't enjoy them at all since i spend most of the day at the pool
Automated check in at the main loby was a disaster. Had to then wait in a 45 minute line for the clerk to tell us our rooms were at the Nobu Hotel. I specifically booked a room with 2 queen beds at the Ceasars towers and paid extra. When we arrived at Nobu, the only room that was available was one with a king bed and they would send a roll away. Mind you, this is at 10pm after a long day of travel.
Location is great Bathroom really needs renovation. Need to pay to get hot water. Hallways smell bad.
The staff was friendly and great! The hotel was clean! NA
They only had 2 available floors for parking which were full. My room was out dated, dirty and the maid never cleaned the bathroom or removed the used towels. I had drink residue in my cups and my floor was completely dusty. I've never had such a horrible experience at this hotel. I'm extremely disappointed.
Location The bathroom needs renovation bad. The hallways smell like sewage. Need better ventilation in casino.
Could hear my neighbor most of the night.
Worst customer service ever!!
The location is great and the hotel is a good size- not too big Rooms seem to have been updated some but bathrooms still need work.
Let us check in early clean room View in the room was of the roof.
Casino was okay Not happy with staff I was not able to get hot water for my sore throat Cleaning not very good The overall stay was not pleasant.
I'm in the middle of the strip. Can basically go anywhere. Tried to go to the Mexican restaurant lounge downstairs. Something with the name Charlie and the hostess was really rude.
The room was good for the price. Bathroom was ok. The view was ok. It was clean. I didn't like that I have to wait to check in and check out. Of 16 only 5 were open. I'm I will waiting for my deposit to be return. Staff was okay. And they woke me up at 8 to clean the room knowing the check out was at 11.
having buffet available Poor housekeeping, run down look to casino, etc.
When checking in they asked if I would like smoking or non smoking. I told them non smoking. I get to my room and it was a smoking room. I called down to the desk and they told me to come down and they would take care of it. I had to stand in line for 45 minutes and wait for them to get done with another couple.
Staff are friendly. The rooms are outdated. The neighborhood is extremely shady. Extremely priced drinks at the bar. The shower was pretty high! To step out(dangerous)
rooms, cleanliness, location, gambling cost, variety construction noise, wait for valet
My room was clean. They seemed to offer a few amusement park activities and included free access to the top of the tower. The area around the hotel is depressing. You will have to drive/ride to get to see The sights. My room was VERY outdated. Seemed like a 70's room. The only modern feature was a flat screen. No easy access to charging ports and was way too expensive for what you get. Understandable because it was during the largest convention of the year. SEMA.
Location is extreme north, so can be considered good if you want to go to fremont st, and get a good view from the tower. Rooms are totally cramped up, not even as good as extended stay or holiday inn level, forget to be considered as resort. They should not charge resort fees as it is not even close to being a resort. Bathroom and lobby is also not clean.
The Italian restaurant right outside of the North elevators was excellent! I stayed in the North tower, which was terrible. The shower head was rusty, there was paint chipping off the door of the bathroom, and you had to literally climb to get in the tub. The Asian BBQ restaurant in the hotel took over 45 minutes to provide mediocre food. Literally luke warm. The waitress then said she'd bring egg rolls for our wait and never brought them.
Casino in the hotel Too far from the main strip Very old and run down Too expensive for what it is Theft in the garage Stained sheets and towels
I liked how it's just north of the strip and close to the downtown/Fremont st. You can find great deals for this hotel. Don't expect whole lot but it's fairly clean and a neo-classic landmark. I surprised how decent the rooms were, 3 stars. Cant expect whole lot. The toilet in the room kept on running most of the time. The stopper on the sink wouldn't work. The TV was super dated and no fridge.
Didn't like the shower - not enough water pressure- bad nozzle- seemed like it was spitting
The architecture of the hotel the mall the rooms and security where seen. I felt safe thank you I also like the tower and mj live show. The pool closed on the 24th floor.Key card did not always electronicly work on command
I loved the staff and attractions. I didn't like our room quality. The beds were very uncomfortable.
Many places to eat inside including snack stores but be prepared to pay for that convenience, and very near by restaraunts with great food & drinks. Great value for the location in the middle of the strip! The king room had 2 tv's with 1 in the small seating area which was nice for my show while she napped, it was all we needed other than a microwave or coffee maker would be nice Slot machines weren't being very active for us so didn't play much there but still had a great stay The main drop off entrance was difficult to find before going thru the ugly tunnel type system. sliding bathroom door was difficult for my wife to open/close so she just didn't, we didn't even checkout the pool because the pics didn't excite me anyway. Our interest was central location for access to adventure which was great for the cost
Rooms were nice and clean. Great location Poor cell phone reception in the lobby
Clean, modern room Tough location to drive to, some signage would be helpful
We always stay here when passing through Vegas. The beds and rooms are extremely comfortable and always fit a great price!
Modern, artistic and center of everything in Vegas Confusing front entrance
Pool was great (21+ though) and our two double bed room was spacious and modern. Lots of good channels on TV for when you want some downtime. The location right in the middle of the strip and steps away from the High Roller can't be beat, and there's a good Irish bar inside the casino. The tables and slots are average, but are plenty good enough if you don't feel like cruising the strip. The price paid is fantastic for what you receive, all things considered. - Be prepared to pay a premium for food/drinks considering the location. - The Wi-Fi signal is strong and covers even the pool but randomly disconnects for long periods. - Smaller casino, so it doesn't have the restaurant or bar selection of its peers. - Drop-off area is quite obscure and driving through the parkade to get there is a bit of an eyesore.
The eco friendly style and the location was perfect, basically in the middle of the las vegas strip. How long we had to wait for elevators.
Location. It's on the strip so it's within walking distance of some great sights and the Promanade has a great selection of eateries. Price: It was relatively cheap for a hotel/casino that boasts that it is the newest on the strip (even though I know it was just a remodeled Imperial Palace). Noise: Our first night of my birthday vacation was spent in a room on the 8th floor across from the elevators and just outside of the parking garage. Between the car alarms and the noisey elevator we got little to no sleep. If the windows weren't old and thin and the walls weren't so paper thin this wouldn't have been such an issue. We requested to move rooms early the next morning and were moved to the 18th floor. Service: After getting settled into our new room we decided to take an afternoon nap to catch up on sleep we didn't get the previous night. During this nap we were awakened by a hotel staff member entering our room unannounced with some type of clip board or tablet. He promptly realized the room was occupied, cursed, and left. We chocked this up to having moved rooms and lack of communication on the staff's part and went about our vacation. At 3:30 the next morning we were awakened by a Guy Feiri restaurant ad that left a message on the answering machine, then it immediately called back and rang several times until we picked up. I called hotel staff downstairs to be directed to who I could complain about this to and was told to wait until 9am when that restaurant opened to call them. I called downstairs when we awoke later that morning and talked to another staff member who said he would contact the restaurant and the marketing department but was offered no compensation for now 2 nights of ruined sleep and was never given an update on the status of that complaint. Entertainment: We decided to try to salvage this experience by playing their slots periodically. To give you a little back story, I lived in Vegas for several years and we visit several times a year. These slots were the tightest slots I've ever played. We would put our money in and would win a couple of very low amounts before watching the rest of our money drained with no entertainment whatsoever. We ended up going to other casinos for this entertainment and had better experiences. Overall this hotel/casino seemed to be the driving force of negativity trying to ruin our 3 nights stay for my birthday vacation. Had it not been for the experiences outside this location our vacation would have been completely ruined. We will never again stay at The Linq.
The hotel was extremely gorgeous and elegant, highly recommended. I would pay a little extra to stay here at the marvelous Linq then at Circus Circus, speaking from true experience. Nothing was wrong on the contrary everything was perfect.
My wife and I both enjoyed our stay there. It was overall a great place and very central.
Very spacious room, beautiful views, and wonderful courtesy staff. It was an amazing stay for just myself.
It was clean at least. Overall terrible. I rarely review places negatively if at all but this was rough. First of all, a pain to get to from the strip. The location was bad. I was charged $35 to check in an hour early, then I was given 2 double beds as a solo traveler even though I booked a king. Then my room which was on the same floor as the spa had some weird elevator access issue. When I finally got back to my room, which faced the pool, they had a bright light that flashed directly into my room and the curtains didn't help much. Finally they were blasting loud music until past 11pm when I was staying for work and had 6am meetings. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I've stayed at most hotels on the strip, even the Excalibur was better than this. Stay away. I probably should have complained and gotten things changed, or let them know how bad it was at checkout, but when I was out all day working I just didn't have the energy to deal with it and was in too much of a rush.
Spacious room Nickeled and dimed; parking is not included, no soap in the hotel bathroom, three street tacos chips and a water cost me $21. This is rediculous. No $5 blackjack, had to leave to find decent gambling. Resort fees, but resort closed due to weather.
The comfortable room, helpful staff, the late night availability of food and above all the "GRAND" the 'Beatles' show. Will surely come to stay here again on our next trip. Only the bathroom!!!
Needs a makeover
My sister had a room, or friend had a room and then my fiance and myself had a room. We checked in late and they offered to put all of us in a suite for an additional $100 plus we all had to pay a 35 resort fee. We thought it was a good idea so we could all hang out together but come to find out we were blessed with hearing the elevator the entire time. We also found hair in the shower. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the location is great. Food at the 24 hour restaurant there is not worth the price.
Very expensive, expensive resort fee with no coffeemaker, charges for TOUCHING the mini bar, no access to a fridge, horrible smoky environment.
Did not like how they sneak in the resort fee charge
Lovely room with view of the pool. Staff goes out of their way to be helpful I would have liked a refrigerator in the room besides the mini bar.
There was almost no in-room amenities like tea/coffee/bottled water... Also, parking is not free... Finally, resort fee is extraordinarily high...
Staff is very friendly Room was very dirty upon checking in, even in the upgraded room. There was hair all over the room when we got there. It was gross. We are not ones to complain. We are just the type that we will never stay there again.
Clean, friendly staff, location, tram to treasure island Paying for parking, Resort fee during the winter, no coffee makers or microwave in the rooms
We had a great time, the cleaning is fine, big rooms and the SPA is amazing- you have to go. i had a birthday so they gave me a free enter and that was very kind of them. staff is friendly and we will defiantly consider to go back their again in the future.
Loved the experience at Mirage Hotel. Very friendly crew, great room and great restaurants. Whenever I come back in Vegas I am definitely staying at Mirage again.
Our rooms at the Delano were nice and clean After me and my family ate at the Mandalay Bay Breakfast Buffet we got really bad food poisoning from the Spinach in our omelets, we were in ER to rehydrate and are still sick to this day, That is the only thing that my father and I ate that was alike and we were tested for food poisoning and yes that is what we had and the only place we ate in 24 hours prior to sickness :(
Nice hotel to stay
The rooms were dirty. As soon as we walked in we notices a large urin stain on the bathroom floor. They charge you for every little thing. Like parking per day. If you want to pay for every little thing, and stay in dirty, stained rooms then this place is for you.
The room was great staff was friendly
All staff we felt with were all friendly and professional. Our room was excellent! Did not like the younger dance music constantly playing in casino music giving it a night club vibe the whole time.. Also buffet food wasn't that great.
Clean rooms hotel was nice . I was charge nearly double what the room cost and there is no explanation.. there are so manny hidden fees so read the find print. It's far on the strip so a lot of walking will be involved if you want to go to another hotel
The only real negative experience we had at the hotel is the room was not clean upon check-in. I'm assuming the long blond hair was left from the previous guest. If your concerned about the distance to other parts of the strip, you can take the free tram to the Luxor/Excalibur and walk to the Monte Carlo and take another free tram to the Vdara which sits behind the Bellagio (center strip). You can also walk across the bridge from the Excalibur to the MGM and take the $$ monorail further down the strip.
Room was nice and staff were helpful. Room was cold, and even after setting up the thermostat, the bathroom remained freezing.
Nice place for price Parking was a nightmare. There method makes no sense. Their card didn't work anywhere else. Rooms aren't that awesome. Excalibur has same room for half the price!
I tried to cancel my stay and it was 36 hours before I was going down and I was told I was not able to do it so I lost out on $100 and I'm not happy about that I will no longer be coming down to the Mandalay Bay to stay there that is ridiculous that I cannot get my money back specially with it being 36 hours so I was going to be there
I liked how the restaurants were in the same area, so you don't have to walk from one part of the casino to the other when looking for one to eat at. I didn't like that there was a fee for late check out.
Nothing in particular Booked and prepaid for 2 rooms, but hotel could only find 1 room when I checked in, they promised to fix the problem. But I was still charged for another room when checking out, in addition, my credit card was charged for more than $600 for items I didn't recognize. I was told the charges would be canceled and refunded, but it's really a frustrating experience!
