Pros: Fantastic Hotel Experience! The room, lighting and British-ish decor of the room was just what we were looking for. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, the room luxurious and yet affordable compared to other 5 star hotels nearby (our stay was half the price of other 5 star hotels closer to Buckingham palace and with a kind bed). Centrally located, the Langham was only a 10 minute walk from public transportation and minutes away from a Starbucks. If traveling with an infant, you have access to a refrigerator and can request a crib. LOVED the club room w/ complementary breakfast (6:30-11am) and tea time (2-4pm) was a great treat! Access to two restaurants, a bar and cub room provided many food options. Morning and evening room service was very luxurious. Definitely coming back and recommending.

Cons: Front entrance does not have a ramp BUT there is a side elevator (important if you have a stroller). The bed we had seemed old as there was a BIG dent from where most guests must've slept (to be fair, most hotels are this way). I know this hotel had a pool, but for some reason I didn't see a sign for it, or perhaps we never noticed it.

Pros: This is my second stay at Savoy London. I am not exaggerate if I said that this hotel is one of the best hotels I have ever visit. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, attentive and professional. Very clean and big space in the room and the bathroom with full facilities. The interior, architecture in the hotel are awesome. I am very grateful to the hotel’s team whom made me feel that I am at my home and between my family. My deep thanks to Gregg from the concierge team for helping me in following up and solving an issue happened with taxi payment. He is so professional and did it with full care. My Grateful to Marta in the front desk and the luggage master Lukazs. My sincere appreciation to everyone. The hotel worths every penny!

Pros: the whole ambiance of the Savoy the tradition, the courtesy of all staff and food not over priced, love the afternoon teas
Cons: the room was too hot not able to open window and the constant drone of the vent in the bathroom, shower door a bit too close as you open door to enter room, collides with shoulder as you enter bathroom, please try to make more visible. didn't like the long walk from the lifts to our room as not being of the younger set walking is a little too much but not a big problem

Pros: Wonderful staff, welcoming and friendly. Top quality food and great fun overall. Loved the boys carol service.
Cons: Private lounge for guests - all areas seemed open to the public. It would have been lovely to have had a roaring fire and books/magazines to relax with. We felt we had to order expensive drinks to sit in the open areas.

Pros: Everything was what I would have expected of a hotel with the name of The Ritz. The staff were so helpful and all areas (including public rooms) were spotless. We couldn't see how it could have been improved on.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was fine and should not be messed about with.

Pros: The staff can't do enough for you, great relaxed atmosphere, Christmas decorations were superb and just added to the cosiness of the hotel. Facilities were excellent, but the staff really made it and I was looked after and thoroughly enjoyed my time sampling the Ritz brand of cigars.
Cons: The room was a little tired. But I mean a little, and it didn't spoil our stay. Second day breakfast was slow. We were a table of two in the centre of some larger tables that our waiter spent more time talking and having fun with. This was nice for them, but we were a little over looked, and we had to ask again for items that were missed from our order. - A very small point, and didn't detract from our overall stay.
5.0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: For the money for the hotel the service was not to a standard i would expect late check in were not made aware of bar for residents of the hotel until late last night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing and really made my mums birthday extra special
Cons: Wouldn’t say I didn’t like, but was really surprised that there wasn’t a T tray in the room
4.0 Okay
Pros: Breakfast Room Service (as restaurant was not open before I had to leave).
Cons: Everything else - courteous, but very unhelpful staff in resolving issues and making guests feel comfortable. Slow service - room not available on time - view from the room was looking at steampipes. One of my most disappointing hotel stays compared to expectations (and I visit London 6-10x annually).
Room was old (it was clean) and not up to date for a luxury hotel.

4.6 Okay
Pros: The concierge service
Cons: Objective observation: The hotel is in need of renovation. Rooms look old and outdated. The furniture is old and has scratches. The light bulb in bathroom was blinking. The executive king rooms are small. They look and feel more like a single room. Personal observation: The personnel at the reception are unprofessional. I came with my husband for a business trip for 2 days. My husband also had a birthday on the day of our arrival. At checking in I told the staff about that and that we need a quite room, so that we could have a nice sleep after busy day. At night I could not sleep, because of the air conditioning working in the common corridor of the hotel, that was just behind the bed. That’s not a notion of quite room. In the morning before going to the meeting I asked to move us to another room. When we arrived after a long day to the room and went to bed, we could hear the metro train now and then. Almost the whole night. It seems like the staff had deliberately done that to us. The experienced staff should know which rooms are quite and which are not. And if they get a special request for a quite room, they should fulfill it, as it is a request from the guest of the hotel. Needless to say even though my husband had a birthday we did not get any upgrade of the room.

Pros: Perfect location and the staff were amazing. So friendly and always smiling - nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and light. The bed was very comfortable and free bottle waters were a nice touch. Amazing en-suite, nice powerful shower.
Cons: I didn't like the perfume pumped through the air-con in the corridors and bedrooms. Infact we had to be moved as I suffer from asthma and it was effecting my breathing to a none perfumed floor (5) and room. The corridors are too dark, felt like a ship..

Pros: Location was perfect for London tourism (safe and within walking distance of everywhere). The hotel concierges and another gentleman whose name I didn''t catch were extremely helpful!
Cons: The desk chair legs (room 633) stuck out and the tight quarters meant that my toes got smashed. I humbly suggest a different chair. I know that space is limited but having a lounge w/ desks or couches (not part of the restaurant) would be nice.

Pros: Very comfortable and elegant stay, not to mention the perfect location. The staff at the door entrance are great.
Cons: Staff is professional but impersonal. The hotel doesn't have a comfortable area open for residents to sit and relax at any point in time. The tea room is great but has specific opening hours and also external guests which makes it partially convenient. The blinds in the rooms are not possible to remove which deteriorates the feeling of the nice view.

Pros: Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed in central London. Superb location at one of the small side streets next to St. James's street in the heart of the city which gives you the best access to Mayfair, Piccadilly and St. James's park, but still it is nice and calm and you would not hear road traffic inside your room. Very nice and stylish bar with some Italian touch (and most of the staff being native Italians too). It also has tables outside in the cosy inner yard which must be very nice place in the summer time, but I've stayed in October so could not enjoy it. The rooms have sufficient space particularly in terms of standard London hotel rooms, with nice old-style interiors and furniture -so it gives you the the feeling of the old touch. Some might find the choice of food for breakfast being not too big, it is not like in some hotels where you would see a buffet with dozens of tables full of food - but still you can find all the main things you would need for breakfast, including some nice cheeses and jamon. I would highly recommend this hotel as the piece of the good old Britain in the heart of the city, particularly if you come as a tourist.

Pros: There is really nothing about this hotel that my wife and I don’t like: great staff, great restaurant, very good facilities, fantastic location, and free high speed Wi-Fi (tested at 14 mb/s). It’s located on a quiet side street near Green Park, no traffic noise at all. The park is a two minute walk and the tube station another two minutes away. The hotel room service is the best I’ve ever seen. We were there for seven nights and had breakfast in every morning. We also frequently used the service at other times. They never failed to be prompt and accurate. The hotel is within walking distance of a number of very good restaurants, we particularly liked Franco’s and Bentley’s, but the hotel restaurant, the Game Bird, is excellent. Try the Dover Sole. In summary, I travel a lot and I’ve never stayed in a better hotel than the Stafford.

Pros:
Cons: Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Considering all my friends and family WHO I HAD BOOKED & PAID FOR had WAY BIGGER rooms, I thought it was pretty shabby. The hotel is tired (late 90's/early 00's decor) and I think the low price reflects it. Needs to be taken over by a new group as it could be one of London's best in terms of location. When you see a pull-up display banner in the bar/tea area, you know they're heading towards cheap-hotel-ville.

Pros: Location was Amazing. Very close to the Thames, Trafalgar Square, Embankment Bridge, and Underground. Walking distance to Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus and Westminster. Loved the heated bathroom floor and towel rack.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.
Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Cons: Room quite hot, Windows not to be opened and airco being a bit noisy
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: I have a serious complaint about the stay last night on top of a previous stay last week, basically the Hotel management allow occupiers of the 8th floor suites to play loud music until any time they wish, to the detriment of the guests below. Unacceptable. During the nights of the 29th and 30th while I was in room 442 the fire alarm went off 3 or 4 times. That was coupled with noise which I thought was coming from outside but was probably from a suite on the 8th floor. Last night I stayed in room 752 and was unable to sleep after 2am due to very loud noise (and I mean VERY loud plus vibrations and strong bass, Arabic music) coming from upstairs on the 8th floor. When I complained to the Duty manager he apparently went upstairs, asked them to turn down the music and they did not, instead the music continued until 5:30am at which point I checked out and left the Hotel to go very early to the airport to sleep. The Duty Manager did offer me a room at around 3am where I could go and sleep but I refused since it should not be me to continue being inconvenienced and I had no idea the music would continue until 5:30am! NEVER Again!!!

Cons: Gym a bit small

Breakfast crowded late in the morning, not so special

Pros: Location, deluxe room quite good in size
Cons: Housekeeping not on par with 5 star hotels. Sometimes they forget to clean the room. I have to call to ask them to clean otherwise they would wait hours and hours before they clean.

Pros: Great location, great staff, great services.. the place is spotloss clean and neat.
Cons:
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was fantastic.
Cons: The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them
9.0 Excellent
Pros: very nice business hotel. Room was nice.
Cons: Lots of street noise from night clubs across the street. When the Queue formed 11pm + and especially when the club closed 1:30-2:30am, the street noise was very loud (above TV level). The only night it was not an issue was when it was raining.
The room also didn't have a bath tub.

Pros: The location is perfect to see many sights and close to the underground.
Cons: There are NO American Outlets anywhere, and I understand that yes I am in the UK and they don't have the same voltage as in the States, but EVERY hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe has had at least ONE American Outlet. The outlets are no where near mirrors. So even if you packed an outlet converter, you wouldn't be able to see yourself do your hair. CFL lighting instead of LED, which take a long time to warm up and are not as bright. Instead of having One Strong WIFI Network, they had over a dozen WEAK Ones. You had to constantly re-connet to Wifi because the signal would go out. We spent majority of the time reconnecting between 3 different Citadines Wifis. The bathtub/shower is so high off the ground, you have to physically climb into it, and careful not to fall out. I almost fell out completely one, but thankfully my boyfriend caught me in time. Our in room fridge creaked and moaned all hours of the night, and soon became part of our nightly sleep, Given the Opportunity, I would NOT stay here again.

Pros:
Cons: The wait time for everything was exceedingly slow. A food order could take over 90 min for delivery.
The rooms were not sound proof you could here every person who walked by and what they were saying.
The staff were not trained for a hotel of that price.
The breakfast selection was mediocre and the same everyday for the 9 days I was there. The hotels decor is old and outdated. It was difficult to even have a bottle of water delivered.
The food was less and average.
6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good and the location of the hotel was in walking distance to Covent Garden.
Cons: Having arrived at 11am we knew we couldn't check it until 3pm so we dropped our bags off and went for a walk. Coming back to the hotel at 2.55 we asked if our room was ready and were told Room 425 is nearly ready in 10mins. We were given access to the executive lounge and were told the lady would let us know in 10 mins when we could go to our room. At 3.20 I asked if our room was now ready and was told yet again it will be 10 mins for final checks. To cut a long story short at 3.45 I asked again and was told yes room 431 is ready. I was previously told we were waiting for room 425 if 431 was ready why wasn't we given that when we asked at 3pm. It was suppose to be a anniversary treat for my wife but after the check in farce it did put a dampener on things. We wont be going back.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was varied and nice, the reception staff and doormen were friendly and helpful
Cons: This is a Hotel with quite a reputation so imagine our disappointment at the quality of the room. The shower was generally cold with sudden bursts of scalding water, the room was stuffy and the air conditioning too loud for consistent use. The coffee facilities were miserable and frugal, the bed small and narrow - this was really a room for single occupancy only, we were a couple. The breakfast was good enough, but the queue was long and the poor egg chef was clueless. This is a Hotel that needs to improve because all it is doing now is living on its past, and its location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Manfred the receptionist was very helpful and upgraded our room and provided us with breakfast which was unexpected but greatly appreciated. All the staff were excellent. Could not fault any of the service. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again. I am sure it will look splendid once the renovations are completed.
Cons:
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic luxury Excellent hotel and amazing friendly staff
Cons: Bar closes at 11.30pm for patrons is far too early and breakfast finishes at 10am again way too early
7.0 Good
Pros: Location, traditional nature of the hotel, price in comparison to nearby hotels. They gave us free breakfast for my husbands birthday (they didn’t give us a room upgrade though and the hotel wasn’t full). Most of the staff very nice.
Cons: The hotel is covered in scaffolding. The room we were give 809 was as far away from reception as you could get, it was an attic room and quite small. 1 member of staff at breakfast was very rude, although others apologised and tried to make up for it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We traveled in from Heathrow and the hotel was close to the underground stop. Easy walking distance to all major landmarks. Staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast in the morning was awesome.
Cons: the 110 outlet in our room had a plug broken into it making it unusable.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location is perfect for easy access to most of London... shopping, theatre, restaurants, sightseeing etc.
Cons: Reported the safe and AC wasn't working on 3 occasions and they were never fixed. The room was hot and humid in November/December.

Pros: Excellent location just off the Strand. Friendly and helpful staff, and great breakfast included in my stay.
Cons: Rooms are a little small. Also not much of an open lounge area for waiting around or hanging out, but tight space is to be expected for the location.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly. I liked the free bottled water by the ice machine in the hallway. Luggage storage at no charge was helpful too.
Cons: We booked 2 rooms with queen beds, plus a double pull-out couch...plenty of beds for a family of 5. When we checked in, we were given two rooms with queen beds only. The staff worked to fix the issue, but I still don't think that we got what we paid for.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location, that’s about it
Cons: It was our anniversary, they put us in the room with an accessible shower instead of a room with a bath. And the room furnishings did not warrant the price. Felt as though we were staying in a travelodge. Also, the bed was not comfortable at all.

Pros: The location was great for tourists. Right in the heart of Covent Gardens. Lots of energy and buzz about. Staff was friendly.
Cons: The room was so small I nearly knocked the tv off the wall when walking from the bed to the bathroom. There wasn't a dresser to put my clothes in, and if I were to use the folding stand to place my suitcase I literally would not have been able to move around. Airconditioning was adequate for my room, but the hallways were hot, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. Carpets were dark and dingy. I had tech problems with the wifi, something others were having as well, but there wasn't anyone at the hotel who could adequately solve the problem.
