The comfort and good selection of restaurants.
Location. We stayed in a room adapted for a disabled guest - I am a wheelchair user - whilst the size of the bathroom was commendable it had a bath and not a walk in shower. This was not what we expected and not like the last Novotel we stayed in. This hotel is not worthy of its 4* rating, the room was basic and lacked the usual creature comforts one would expect.
Good location for Shepherds Bush Arena and shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful
location to the westend, mani from the stone roses stayed there at the same time as us so if its good enough for a rockstar then its good enough for me tv reception was poor
Perfect and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean rooms The location, little bit far of Oxford circus but closed to the public transportation stations
The peacfulness of the hotel and cleanliness of room. Beds where uncomfortable and the chrages for parking for residents was unfair when you pay to stay in a hotel you should have free resident parking, i've never stayed in a hotel before that charged for parking and a £1 an hour is a ridiculous when your staying gor 24 hours or more.
very good breakfast, nice freindly staff
Location was excellant and room was very nice I booked a twin room but got a double room instead. I did mention this to the receptionist but she said that they had no more twin rooms. I didn't like the fact that, even though I booked and paid, a twin room that I booked for was given to someone else or that the hotel over book certain rooms.
We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Handy for the tube. Quiet and airy inside.
staff very friendly and helpfull no nothing we had a good stay
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The reception staff were not very friendly and the room was not good value for money.
The expertise of the staff from the initial check in to answering questions regarding directions and restaurant recommendations. Convenience to Olypmia for exhibition staff. Our room 4004 was directly at the front of the hotel and the double glazing is not sufficient to hide the road noise which is 24 hours.
Clean, convenient, pleasant stay
staff helpful and friendly. breakfast area clean and fresh. breakfast lovely. room was terrible- filthy, grubby, crap shower, toilet seat shoogly etc....
leaving the staff, the service, the room, the faulty payTV that wasn't fixed after being reported 3 times , the tiny shower I didn't fit in
It was in an ideal location for Olympia exhibition centre. Hotel services available around the clock. Very clean and comfortable.
Tv did not work
excellent location for the olympia and earls court. Has very fine walls was awoken at 6 am by neighbour who had just arrived speaking on mobile phone could hear near enough every word he was sayin.
Cleanliness-kind staff behaviour-quiet area No fredge in room
Very suitable location as we were visiting Olympia
controlable temperatures and opening windows
The nachos were good, I guess. Near to tube station. The staff was incredibly rude, when you asked them questions they would be on cell phones & it was obvious you were bothering them. There's no lift, and the rooms are cold and the beds squeak whenever you move. The showers were very small and had little hot water. I would never stay here again.
Close to underground Room size was extremely small but efficient, no elevator for luggage
Clean Ac system out of order. Check out process difficult and did not provide invoice for over night stay. Refreigator did not work. Silverware were not clean. Wanted to charge additional money for using American Express card.
Smart modern decor Lino on the floor instead of carpet
Great decor, very comfortable, really quiet so good nights sleep!!
The overall hygiene and finish was to a very good standard. It's a fairly new building, about 3 weeks old, very well located, short walking distance to Kensington. Friendly, helpful and efficient staff. I arrived in the Summer, very warm but the a/c wasn't working, didn't sleep very well. Had to open a window, which backs up onto the street, again not good if people can see me in my room! Please sort out the air conditioning. My fridge was the smallest I've ever seen, lol!!
The room was very clean , modern & comfortable .It has been fitted out to a high spec , the rotating kitchen was a nice touch so you could stay in the room and cater for yourself if the need arrises .Over all we had an excellent stay in the hotel
Liked the kitchen fscilities, comfortable bed, quiet hotel. I was upgraded to suite! Lots of room, shame I was only there from 11pm to 8am! Thin, small rough bath towels - not same quality as rest of linens! No teabags/milk for one night stays.
excellent location if you are going to Kensington Olypia, which we were on the Friday of out weekend in London, but then your kind of stuck out in the sticks. We should have moved more central the second night. A bit pretentious - style over substance. Would I reccomend it to anyone elde? only if they were going to Olympia
I needed a hotel close to Charing Cross Hospital. it was 10 mins by taxi which was fine. about the hotel and its service, i have no complaints
Good prices and comfort I asked for a wake up call but they didn't do it so I was about to loose my flight
staff very friendly and helpful
Small independent feel with a great bar and good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Noisy air conditioning on the top floor.
Friendly staff.Well appointed room. Good breakfast. Above a nice pub. Close to Tube. Fair price. Nothing we didn't like.
The hotel has a good location, close to the underground stations but also viewing some green in the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The service at the hotel was good. No complaints about cleanliness of the room and /or the facilities. We very much enjoyed the English breakfast and the food in general as well.
The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank-you
Very friendly and helpful staff.Very comfortable accommodation. Easy access to buses, trains and restaurants. Maybe put "mature couples" on lower floor due to number of stairs. a small fridge in room would be an advantage.
friendliness of staff; beautiful rooms and pub; atmosphere in general busy street (can get quite noisy); breakfast service
The rooms very clean & tidy. Good en-suite bathroom. Good TV with wide range of channels. The room over looked a road but I had no trouble with any traffic noise. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
Excellent and friendly staff and good service We had a room on the thirth floor, 67 steps, and no elevator. For olderly people can this be a problem.
Room was very nice, breakfast was really good Our top bedroom was opened from the top and could hear all the traffic all the time and couldn't close it, i went down to ask a member of staff to have a look at and said would be up in 5 mins and never showed up and when i went down later on way out was gone for the day
Location to Olympia. Leaving! Please read the other reviews. They are accurate and this hotel should be avoided!
atmosphere, situation in London too much noise from street
It is probably the worse hotel I have ever stayed in. Its just here to make the owner money, very poor, the rooms are disgusting. I would never stay here again, its ok for backpacking or stag nights, but to call itself a hotel! Is very wrong.
nothing everything, i did not like this hotel as it says it is 3 star i would say it was a 1 star the rooms are basic, the bathroom round the bath was covered in green mould my daughter had an operation 5 monthes ago and she ended up with an infection in her wound i had to takr her to hospital as soon as we got home on the monday i blame the condition of bathroom she was fine when we left edinburgh also the cold water tap did not work on the bath there was also a horrible smell in he bed room and breakfast is boiled egg and toast some times they give some cheese i would not stay there again or recomend it to any one i had to stay there as they take ur money first.
Staff is very helpful, hotel is very close to the Olympia exhibition center. Rooms are rather small, but this is common situation in London
Heater not working well all the time reception informed & no shampo or soap found in room they provided after complain only Internet not working also
The room was clean, staff were polite and the booking was good value.
A bit of external noise - room rather smaller than photographs suggested
convenient location for visit too hot, had to leave fan on all night
Good price, 24 hour front desk, very good location (close to underground station). No Cable TV.
Friendly staff, clean and modern room, and tea and coffee in abundance in room! There was a leak in the corridor near my room. Did not affect my stay negatively however.
5 minute bus ride to Hammersmith station Room a bit too warm in summer. Close to road so a bit noisy.
Clean and ordered Away from main body of hotel
It's rather clean. The breakfast feeds you up (toast + jam), you can take refill. The room was located in the basement and the stair was so little I almost couldn't bring the luggage downstairs.
The stairs was very narrow and I stayed up on the 3rd flloor. The window was broken so it was cold and noisy!
The 24hr reception
Well situated (Shepherd's Bush) for our leisure activities. Bathroom was spotlessly clean and general cleanliness of stairs, room etc was clean. The double bed was comfortable. Street traffic noise kept us awake as we were obliged to keep the window open in the hot weather. Room was rather cramped for two people and there was nowhere to store one's clothing and so we had to leave two people's clothing in the suitcase getting crumpled. There were no 'facilities' for clothing, hence my poor rating.
nice and warm staff, good room, good location, I will return
The room was perfect for what we needed, beds were comfortable and clean and we had clean towels delivered to us dailyPlease write at least 15 words The bathroom was small, however this was not a problem for us
I would like to have a telephone in my room in order to receive calls and that is not the case. At night it was cold in my room, although it was in march, I asked to warm it more but I was told that there is an automatic timer ...meaning that there was nothing to do. I got a spare blanket instead. The sink in my room was blocked during all my stay. The space to hang clothes not very comfortable very narrow.
The coffee machine with complementary hot beverages The location, 3 min walk from West Kensington tube station, very nice quiet area. Friendly staff - booked restaurants and taxis for us, altough the taxi driver told us he (and we) had to pay a 5 pound fee to the hotel. Better to get taxis across the street. The triple room was claustrophobic, we were given the smallest room in the hotel, even though we paid for a triple!! The bathroom also very small. It was tolerable for a few days, but expensive for the conditions!
Good location, very close to the Kensington tube station (5 minutes walking). Clean place. Small room and bathroom even smaller. No breakfast included either.
It is located within waking distance to our family's flat in London I wish they had wash clothes and the matress was a little more firm.
Clean and comfortable Room very small only walking space around the bed and shower just like standing under a tap.
free unlimited hot chocolate the bed linen and pillow cases are not changed daily
Very basic but clean. Good location. Friendly staff. The main problem was that there was no heating in the room on one of the coldest nights of the year. We were freezing! No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Beds were very small!
Reception staff, excellent Blinds on windows could do with some sort of black out material, as we didnt have to rise to early it would have been nice to have some darkness in the room.
the staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent service. The location is good, with easy access to the subway. The internet did not really work in our room on the 2nd floor.
clean room, great location close to the tub, great value for money, friendly staff. I v stayed in many budget hotels in london in the past but this was definatelly the best one. small room but couldn t expect anything more with this amount of money.
Don't buy breakfast here !!, you will get a paperbag with a bottle of apple juice, a yogurt and a package of kellogs with hot milk. This is a continental breakfast !!
