Efficient but friendly N/A
the room designe , the the food the break fast
The location was very great. An easy walk to Sloane Square, The Kings Road, Knightsbridge etc. The room was luxurious and comfortable and we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a fantastic suite. The staff were helpful, friendly and having a car park was also a massive benefit. The food in the restaurant was also very good.
All summarized above 7.5 charge for room service. Terrible phone reception in rooms. No free wireless in rooms. Extremely overpriced food.
Nicest room I've ever had in London - really spacious, stylish and completely sound-proofed. Nice restaurant with good choices and prices. Friendly staff. A couple of things not as per info when booking - luxury mini bar, contained 2 bottles of water - not what I was expecting; no iron - although brought to the room when asked for. A bit disappointed with pool area - much smaller than expected - so felt crowed with 10 people around it.
Very clean rooms and also a good size. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely pool and facilities. I found the breakfast a little pricey, but apart from that there where no bad points.
The spa and large bed. No parking dicounts.
Very good value, high quality London hotel None
Ease of booking in process, polite staff and was within walking distance of victoria station.
the location- very close to Victoria Coach Station and Subway no particular aspect
The comfort of the beds, the showers, and the full English breakfast. No air-conditioning
The proximity to Victoria coach station and bus links. The breakfast was good and the staff friendly. The toilet and washing facilities were cramped. The washing basin was chipped and spotty. Worst of all was the sound proof. We could hear people talking next door and tv noises. Our next door neighbours had the tv on until 3.30 in the morning and switched on again at 6.30 a.m.
location close to Victoria bus station
service no fan in room
The location was excellent - very close to Victoria Station - easy walking distance even with baggage! Climbing the stairs with baggage was difficult.
within walking distance to Victoria station, quiet road. Acceptable for one night. rooms are very small, difficult to adjust room temperature. Small breakfast buffet, choosing english breakfast is the better choice, although I have to admit that I had better ones.
The English Breakfast
Low cost Internet system was out, satalite television was not functioning, and thin walls so very noisy.
it was conveninet to Victoria, breakfast satisfactory nearest toilet on floor below, nearest shower two floors above and it took 3 efforts to get correct directions to these facilites from staff, very poor facilities, hotel needing serious upgrade
Hospitality of the staff
Excellent service by the reception staff, very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast.
Location, friendly staff
Surprisingly quiet during the night (slept with open window), good outfitted, updated and comfortable rooms, very friendly staff, business hotel with a family atmosphere, location very close to Victoria station (5 min walk) but away from the mass hotels at Belgrave Rd, nice neighborhood feel
Located very near to Victoria Station. Very kind and profesional staff
Nice hotel, well run and with friendly staff No lift! Had to haul our luggage up to our third floor room. Also, no minibar/fridge.
The staff at reception was very helpful and kind. Has good attention to details. I was a lone traveller and and went for breakfast as it was included in the total price. However, I was not served by the staff and only had cereals. I did not go for breakfast again the next morning.
Room and en-suite comfort and cleanlines Public areas rather tired. difficult to get to by public transport.
Its indeed very clean and well ruled place, with excellent staff and good athmosphere. Good location - short walk from Victoria station - and not too noisy street.I really enjoyed my stay in compare to my previous experience with such kind of hotels in central London.Warmly suggested. Indeed - for my test and experience everything was just excellent for such kind of hotel, location and price.
Staff was always very courteous and helpful. I brought my laptop from overseas and the internet signals were too weak for me to work in my room. There was a public computer available, but it was in the dining area.
The room was quite acceptable and the location wonderful. The breakfast was minimal but acceptable. We booked two rooms and found that one was in a totally different building around the corner. The manager gave our room to another couple the first night after we had moved into it.
Good location, not far from Victoria, Interesting breakfast, help yourself in the family kitchen but it did the job
The worst hotel that i have ever stayed in.
The Location The hight of the TV too high to watch from bed.
the beds were not joined and very uncomfortable to sleep in.
Good breakfast, comfortable beds and great location Triple room was 3 single beds pushed together, against wall, had to climb up bed from bottom, not enough space for 3 beds in room
The location was really good. And they cleaned our room everyday.
very small single room
I loved the convenience of the location. It was only about a five minute walk from the Victoria Station in London. We didn't have a private bathroom, so we had to wait for others in the morning while we were getting ready.
location grumpy staff bordering on rude
clean, friendly stuff, very well located for sight seeing, good enviroment, close to victoria station, restaurants nearby trashy furniture
The people who worked here were the dumbest losers I'd ever experienced. The guy at the front desk wouldn't book me in, he made me go online to book in even though I was standing at the front desk. I asked a simple question "how far is it to Westminster Bridge?" and the fool had no idea. Also the room I was in had 24 beds like a slave ship. The fool at the front desk couldn't even write the door code down properly so I was unable to enter the room. The breakfast was pathetic.
We recommend this hostel. It's clean and quiet, despite the pub on the ground-floor. The staff is nice, always ready to help you, and the environment is family-like. It's within a walking distance to some of the main historic buildings. A 20-30 minutes walk takes us to The Tate Gallery, The Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.
We stayed at this hotel as it was easy reach of Westminister. It is a great location and is above a lovely pub with atmosphere and has an amazing Thai Restaurant. It was excellent value for money and the staff went out there way to accomodate your needs. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to a friend. No
very accomodating staff! value for money.. very good location. would love to stay again next time.:)
Very good staff. refreshments on arrival.Clean room. Tv did not work properly. Shower door broken. Noisy on a saturday night
This place is perfect if you want to have a city trip, and good relation price-quality. It is nice, clean, and with a cool pub with live music at weekends, where you can taste some good british food ! Try in particular the chili con carne, it was excellent. The hostel staff is extremely friendly. Excellent the connections: just in front of bus 24 stops and leads you to major spots in London (check out the route of bus 24, it passes by all main touristic attractions) it is simply perfect for a tourist.
There was a tremendous amount of amenities. For what I paid to sleep I could have spent this on breakfast and coffee elsewhere. The breakfast included made to order omelettes a variety of juices, toast, cereal and fruit. All good quality. Also there was a commercial level coffee machine (americano, latte, espresso, hot cocoa, tea, and more) available all day. All of the staybwas incredibly welcoming friendly and helpful. The place had a great location with easy access to bus lines and the underground not too far by walking or bus, but I chose to walk many of the rtimes and it was easy to get to many of the major attractions by walking. A city bike rental was right out front next to the great view of the river. The security lockers were good quality along with good access control to the hostel area and bedrooms. Inside the 8 bed room was a clean toilet and two showers. I felt secure and was easily able to change and get ready for my meetings. The fellow travelers were all quite nice as well. The pub area was a great place to hang out complete with comfy couches, activities, awesome food (the Thai curry was wonderful!) and even a guitar for community use. The staff were very speedy, super friendly, super helpful, accommodating, And overall laid back back in attitude in a way that did not impact quality of service but contributed to the comfort level. I really truly recommend this placeif you have appropriate recommendations for a hostel. The facilities were clean, but this is an older building with some graceful sign of aging so don't expect a modern chic type of cleanliness. The beds were adequate for me to get a good sleep but more comfortable mattresses would have been lovely. They were still very appropriate for the price. Aside from this I really couldn't imagine what more one could want or expect from a hostel. I had stayed in one other in Playa del Carmen Mexico and while it was a nice place, I felt this one was far superior. I guess as a suggestion while the in room lockers were a good larger size and good security they were not able to accommodate full size suit cases (luggage) or garment bag width. I packed appropriately but being able to handle a larger size would have been nice if needed. There was room under the bed for this size if you wanted to use you luggage lock for security.
