The carpeting in the common halls was old and worn, giving the hotel a dowdy feel, like something one might find along a highway used for a quick overnight stay on a trip to someplace else.

Location, deluxe room quite good in size Housekeeping not on par with 5 star hotels. Sometimes they forget to clean the room. I have to call to ask them to clean otherwise they would wait hours and hours before they clean.

The Hotel was convenient to the Tube and a lot of very nice restaurants and shops. Their free wifi was very fast! The fitness center was a little small for that size hotel
very nice business hotel. Room was nice. Lots of street noise from night clubs across the street. When the Queue formed 11pm + and especially when the club closed 1:30-2:30am, the street noise was very loud (above TV level). The only night it was not an issue was when it was raining. The room also didn't have a bath tub.

The location was fantastic. The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them
Of course as always staff courtesy and the overall service is the main reason for us to stay at this hotel, despite the unpleasant experiences we had this "time only" with some of the reception staff upon our arrival which I will mention in the other Box. We are a regular customers and we know the level of services of this hotel however, we were totally shocked by the low service offered by your Supervisor at reception area Mr Sabestaian which was way below expectation.If he continues there he will certainly cause more damages to hotel reputation, Hotel mgt should consider giving him more lessons on customer service. Ms Suzana was of the same Category!. The rest of staff at the reception and other places were absoloutely all stars.
The hotel is located close to restaurants, shops and is a short walking distance from excellent theatres.The hotel staff and facilities lived up to a five star experience you expect from the Langham reputation.

I loved the kingsize bed
The Langham is an old fashioned 5 Star Hotel. In other words it deserves every one of the stars. Maybe it costs a bit more, but nothing is too much trouble and the staff are that great blend of friendliness and efficiency with not a hint of snobbery, which of course is a true sign of class. A great location and a real feel of opulence.

Fantastic Hotel Experience! The room, lighting and British-ish decor of the room was just what we were looking for. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, the room luxurious and yet affordable compared to other 5 star hotels nearby (our stay was half the price of other 5 star hotels closer to Buckingham palace and with a kind bed). Centrally located, the Langham was only a 10 minute walk from public transportation and minutes away from a Starbucks. If traveling with an infant, you have access to a refrigerator and can request a crib. LOVED the club room w/ complementary breakfast (6:30-11am) and tea time (2-4pm) was a great treat! Access to two restaurants, a bar and cub room provided many food options. Morning and evening room service was very luxurious. Definitely coming back and recommending. Front entrance does not have a ramp BUT there is a side elevator (important if you have a stroller). The bed we had seemed old as there was a BIG dent from where most guests must've slept (to be fair, most hotels are this way). I know this hotel had a pool, but for some reason I didn't see a sign for it, or perhaps we never noticed it.

Everything about this Hotel is exceptional. The service and quality is always beyond any reproach. The location is also perfect. The price is high but you get much more than you pay for.
Everything Being in a smoking floor
My daughter and I were greeted like we were royalty. Everybody is friendly, efficient and professional. The Ritz is gorgeous and always clean. The servers are very proper and the food was fabulous. I would highly recommend The Ritz, because you will certainly not be disappointed.

The courtesy of the staff was very good and one was made to feel nothing was a bother. The room was very comfortable. There was a fair amount of outside street noise in the room which took a night to get used to.

The room and facilties were large for a London hotel at that room rate. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the robes that were provided The construction noise was very disruptive and precluded us from getting a good nights rest. The room was poorly designed with large furniture and made it difficult to move around the room comfortably.
We Loved Everything about the Radisson! You can not go wrong, the rooms are gigantic and with real king beds you get the most comfortable night sleep while in London out of anywhere! From the minute you walk in the door, the customer service is absolutely impeccable, they actually care about you, learn about you, remember you and it is so nice to feel that, especially after 12 hours of travelling across 8 time zones to get there. The service and kind staff. 1. We booked a junior suite with "great view over London" and added to our booking request that this view was of the essence. The junior suite did not have such a view and the staff told us that no junior suite has such a view. Other rooms do. We feel mislead because an important part of the reason why we booked an expensive hotel/room was the view. 2. The hotel did not answer any of our 3 e-mails over a period of 2 months. 3. We called the hotel in order to double check our reservation. The reservation was not found and the hotel would call us back. They did not so we had to call them back.
Very helpful staff also in a fantastic position for restaurants and shows.

Its position It is not true that airconditioning system is controlled from the room. Actutally the system is not strong enough when there is a very warm climate in uk.

Great location to National Gallery, Piccadilly Square, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and gardens. Contemporary style, very comfy bed, staff polite and helpful. Free "slow" internet in the room-it was fast enough! Rain shower head. The shower was a bit small so the splashing water would sometimes puddle on the floor. No other complaints!

Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We were only there 24 hours but thanks to location, facilities, easy relaxed feel of the hotel it was the ideal intensive enjoyment hoped for.
Modern elegance this hotel is one of the finest I have stayed in. Contemporary design Incorporated into the old world charm and classic design of the building, The location is superb I really can't get any more central than this. The stuff are wonderful, right down to the doorman, I've stayed there four times in the past six months, and i must say, it's so nice when the doorman greats you and welcomes you back to the hotel.
Service They put a service charge on everything.... even in the bar
Location is exellent. The room was extremely small and outdated. I stayed in the hotel many times before and always made the bookings directly with the hotel, the rooms I received were much better. I left the hotel under the impression that I've received a bad room because of my booking through booking.com. Perhaps the rate was good but "there is no free lunch".
although i had to move rooms twice because of a tv/internet that didn't work, the staff was very open to helping me get a comfortable room.
The location of the hotel is unique!!! The room was spacious but the bathroom small and old style.
the hotel was a little bit special and everything was very well done. the location for oxford street, and picadilly was excellent and within walking distance for convent garden. could have done with teaa making facilities in the room having said that we ordered tea for two via room service which was much nicer than a tea bag in a cup! but expensive.

I wish all hotels were like Claridge's. The facility is lovely, the rooms are fabulous, and the staff are extremely helpful. Their response to a special request was 'no problem' which simpliflied my trip a great deal. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Appreciated hospitality of hotel staff except one Japanese staff at reception desk. If you are trying to improve the level of service provided to the Japanese clients, you'd better to leave the operation only to your excellent English staff. Due to double booking, we faced to transfer to the other rooms during our stay. We have not received an official apology from the manager nor any kind of compensation, In spite of this big problem, the attitude of Japanese staff was always very gruff and unkind. I regret to say that her attitude destroyed our good reputation of your hotel.
I like the desing and the location
Our stay at The Sanderson was perfect from start to finish. I called ahead to let them know that we were coming to stay for my boyfriend's birthday. From upgrading us to a huge, gorgeous room to delivering balloons, flowers, candles, and birthday treats, they truly went above and beyond to make it an amazing weekend. We can't wait for our next visit!
The bar, this was very busy and fun place to be

The lobby, spa and bar are brilliantly designed. Most parts of the hotel are chic and the overall atmosphere is very charming. The rooms are impractically designed. No provision made to accomodate suitcases even. Too much insistence on style and little attention to comfort. Great to hang out at all parts of the hotel except your room where everything seems like a mess since there are no practical provisions made. Very little storage so all the stuff just lies around the floor; also not very child friendly.

The location was great. Room beautiful but things like complimentry water in the rooms, toilet paper too much of a production. Restaurant staff and front door/desk/concierge great. Gym staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Great gym tho. See above.

General location was very good.Cleanliness was good No bar to have a drink with children over 18 had to be 21.Bar staff rude and ignorant.However, Bar manager was very considerate.Very trendy which was nice but thats where it ends i'm afraid. Would not book again.
The lifts. The service. The availability of the garage. The conviviality of the bar areas (both the open & cosy bars). The dedication of your cleaning staff. The laundry service. The proportions. The corridor lighting. And, above all, the location. The lack of Internet access (the business centre was occasionally out of action). The limitations of the room service menu for vegetarians. The limited number of T.V. entertainment channels - without in-house films The lack of a bath. No fresh air. The painting on the ceiling of my room.
Over charger $2k with a forced apology
The location in Leicester Square was very nice, and the hotel seemed to be a popular place to visit. I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it". Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night. Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.
Amazing level of service, sheer luxury and comfort, quiet and centrally situated, excellent breakfast, nothing is a problem. asked about computer to check in for flight and was provided with a laptop and printer in my room at no cost for the first 2.5 hours.

The service was excellent, the reception staff were excellent and in one particular case - superb! The fine dining was 1st class. The fact that we could only afford to stay one night and I didn't get to enjoy the spa!

Service , service and more caring, friendly service! From the moment I stepped out of the taxi on arrival until I left the hotel everyone addressed me by name with a cheery greeting. VERY comfortable and quiet room with far above average amenities, linens and furnishings. Excellent bar and public areas. I was sorry to leave but I shall be back as this is my new favorite London hotel. BRAVO to General Manager Spencer Yeo . Executive Concierge Frank Laino, Edward and everyone at the front desk plus all the doormen who ran for cabs ( in the rain!) so I didn't have to. I say "Well done" ! No complaints

The location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance from major attractions, Green Park tube station and bus station. Everything in the hotel room including bed and bad were too large and tall, especially for a short person like me. Would probably be perfect for a person 6 feet tall!

The position, just behind the Ritz Hotel, makes all the West End area accessible at walking distance. One issue: the hotel asked 6 authorisations to my credit card, for a total amount in excess of the finally due one. These were not real payments, but eroded plafond available for me. If the plafond were low, I would be left without money available on the credit card. I asked the hotel management about the 6 authorizations and why in excess, receiving confused or no explanations. Whatsmore, this behaviour was not anticipated in any part of their website or documentation. In the end I could not even pay with a different credit card. Fortunately they charged the correct amount. The room was not as comfortable as one could expect from a 5 star "just refurbished" hotel in a "superior room": 1) the room door was very thin, not enough isolating from the noise outside: voices and housekeeping work woke us up more than once. 2) the window glass was not a modern isolating one, but rather a single layer one. As it was a freezing season, the room itself was not properly isolated from the cold outside. 3) the bathroom was fitted with an undersized electric heating appliance. As a result the temperature was every time some degrees less then in the bedroom, pretty nasty in the morning.

So at nigth we had to go down and find out whats going on? who is plaing with the card ( we have a sms from the banck) so he told us, that he is chaking if we have enogth money! crazy! Будте внимательны с картой, у нас ресепсионист в ночи пытался снять деньги, причем разные суммы, а так как карта требует кода у него не получилось! но нервы потрепали! заблокировали болше чем надо и пытались снять без нашего разрешения!как так не понятно!
Really nice location. Beautiful building and rooms. Staff are a pleasure...really excellent. No fitness center on site. Although access to fitness center off-site is free. 10 minute walk. Gigi's fitness center. Smallish rooms.
Service was excellent, concierge and reception very helpful, great breakfast. Rooms a little small but beds enormous and sooooo comfy! Be back soon! Lack of kettle in room was the only small negative.
