Hotel area, availability of the staff generally, however the restaurant service was not very good. The face that they offered us a room with baathroom handicap facilities in the first place, which we did not refuse (the room was nice, except the bathroom) as we understood the hotel was busy.
I really liked the location and the amenities. The Underground was close, along with a nice selection of restaurants and Hyde Park. It was very well decorated and attractive. Some of the wait staff and the housekeeping could have been more consistent in their service. The housekeeper may or may not get to some of the details of our room each day. The restaurant waitstaff had new people each day, so there was some confusion in the dining room. Overall though, the leadership was excellent and professional.
Just round the corner from Queensway tube station. Fire alarm at 8am on a Sunday morning but this couldn't be helped!

Staff was polite, location is great. Cleaning is at good standard. Value for money is well disproportioned, will not visit again. Terrible draft coming from the window next to the bed. Heating was not working so they fit a portable eating in the room. Shower facility very bad design, it gets overloaded and is not sufficient light on the bathroom.
The staff were amasing and very helpful. I stayed three nights and then returned for an additional night at the end of my trip because the place was perfect in location, comfort and staff. Very impressed. I came from Australia and intend to use this as a base for business in the future.
When I found the accomodation the room was very modern well equiped and very clean.
I have serious problems with overcharging. I stayed there from November the 15th to the 29th. I first booked through booking.com for a week (November the 15th to the 22nd) so the Notting Hill Suites charged the first week of booking. I asked to stay another week and the receptionist said it wasn't paid and charged me two weeks instead of the other one I was asking for. After I realised that the first week was already paid and asked for a refund.The receptionist said ok and pretended he did the refund but it wasn't so.Then I asked again and he finally did the refund.The problem is that they charged me again for another two weeks. So if you are going to stay there, be very careful about what you pay, double check if they are not overcharging you.
Clean, excellent accessability, comfortable
the house and the room are beautiful, a great location near the underground, portobello road and its nice market. The fully furnished the kitchen is appreciable too for quick meals The shower was difficult to use,too hot!!! The internet was not working in the room or worked by 5 min periods and nobody to help. A light did not work and the coffee maker was out of order.

It was very comfortable, particularly for the price we paid. Nothing, really, except the heater was somewhat noisy (but that's what you get in an old building, even when it's been nicely updated).
We loved the decorations and furnishings in the hotel and how close it was to the tube station. Location was very convenient for getting around London and staying in Notting Hill made us feel like locals. There really wasnt't anything we didn't like.

The staff was nice and very helpfull, and the toilets were faily clean. The location was good. The room was very small. It was also cold in the nights. The breakfast was very unsatisfaying. The bed was uncomfortable, you could feel the springs, when you lied down. The pillow was hard as rock. The wind passed right through the room, and there were doors slamming often, right in front of our room (fire door without a pump)

The staff on reception, particularly the lady when I arrived, were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room I was given was excellent. I wasn't huge, but it had a great cosy feel to it and the decor gave it a slightly luxurious feel, which was pleasantly unexpected. I was also pleasantly surprised how close the hotel was to Paddington Staton for the Heathrow Express (an easy 15-20 minute walk). All in all it was a great place to stay and I would definitely use it again. The cleanliness of the bathroom was acceptable, but could have done with a deeper clean. However I would still stay at this hotel again as overall it really was a great experience.
The room was very elegant and the ensuite was immaculate. We were upgraded on arrival to a four poster room - everything was very clean and nicely presented. There wasnt much left in the way of breakfast when we went down but it was nice enough. The room we were given was right next to the reception, so anytime anyone came or went we could hear it all, which wasn't good at 3.30am! Didn't get any sleep at all that night. Asked the receptionist if we could be moved to another room becasue of those reasons and he said that it would be quiet from then on. Was very annoyed by this. And lift was very slow!

Very trendy hotel, very helpful staff, great shower. Convenient to Paddington Station for transfer to Heathrow, Room was slightly smallish and hence a wee bit claustrophobic. As a solo traveler it was no problem but might be if there were two of us.

Good location. the staff is not particularly friendly or helpful; the bed in my room was very uncomfortable; the hotel is currently being renovated and there is ongoing construction work; the telephones did not work in any of the rooms; no internet access.
The room has a really nice, modern design. Great location. Really good value for money for a triple room in this area in London. We will defenitely come back here again. They are renovating the breakfast room,so now they have a tiny little room for the breakfast,which is really crowdy at the weekend.

Cleanliness, the location - silent and central. The room is stylish and modern. The toilet - difficult to flush and the bathroom is too small, however, clean and beautiful.
Nice little hotel in a great, quiet location. There is NO Fitness Centre and I was told I had to pay for Breakfast when it was included. It costs 15 GBP (If you pre-bopok and pay in cash) for breakfast and it was not worth the price. Very small dinning room.

Rooms were small but adequate and bed was very comfortable. Great location in Notting Hill. Plus a fantastic pub located conveniently across the street. Shower is very small, and my sink kept getting clogged. Housekeeping and the hotel were very responsive.

The location was okay and the hotel was clean. The staff was particularly unhelpful and not attentive. No one would look at us, let alone say hello when we entered the lobby. Our room was a "family room" with four beds crammed into a room meant for two. If you can't accommodate four people then don't say you can. We were also in the basement next to the breakfast area. Not only was the set-up crew noisy at 6AM, our smoke alarm went off at 7AM because of toast in the toaster.
The hotel was situated in a nice quiet spot with pleasant, clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfasts were ok, but often ran out of plates, or cutlery, or hot water and had to wait for resupply. Not really well organised in that respect.

The location was perfect for me. Two tube stops very close accessing the Circle, District, and Central lines. Ten minutes walk to Kensington Palace; both Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are across the road. There are many ethnic restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Nice Shopping Center 10 minutes walk. Right across from Kensington Palace Price of hotel does not include airport shuttle. Airport shuttle has to be arranged in advance or at the airport. The room we stayed in was so small it could barely contain our luggage and ourselves at the same time. Shower is trecherous. View from window was the next building's rooftop mechanical system. Front desk not very helpful.

Location was great! My room was very small over looking the AC units on the roof but I was on the 1st floor. Bathroom was also very small. I wouldn't choose to stay more then one night unless they have bigger rooms

The staff was very friendly. I arrived around 11:30 and my room was ready. The room was small by American standards, but expected size for London. It was well appointed with nice linens and a lovely bathroom. The window faced an interior roof space, and not Hyde Park, but this is pretty minor in the scheme of things.
Great value for money
Staff @ reception were attentive - our room was extremely hot and heating was centrally controlled so we couldn't operate it from the room. Receptionist turned off heating and our 2nd night was much more comfortable. Room too hot but rectified immediately we asked for heating to be turned off - central control only.
I asked for a quiet room and got one. Zero noise, except for that of doors closing in the corridor, which is unavoidable. This is the quietest hotel I have found in London, after many tries, and I will definitely return. Also, the reception staff are all exceptionally pleasant and obliging.
The room was comfortable and clean. The walls were well sound-proofed and we had a quiet night. The breakfast was adequate.

Reliability, no queues for breakfast, adequate breakfast to start off a new day, staff all knowing what to do and having practical answers to all querries, good feeling when returning from a long london day, all facilities working effectively even if without frills. Our best hotel experience in 25 years of annual visits to the capital Not much really, poor tv channel choice perhaps and need to organise space well as the room is comfortable for only one large piece of luggage, but nothing compared with some rooms in other hotels we experienced in the past.
Room was comfortable, warm and quiet. The location is really good with being only minutes away from both Bayswater and Queensway Tube (just a few shops apart from each other).

The staff were very helpful. I liked the easy 24-hour access. The room was comfortable, if rather small, and its facilities were as expected. The breakfast was good and offered the option of a cooked breakfast. The price was rather high, but it is in London and quite central, so perhaps that was not a surprise.

I was surprised given the excellent reviews received by the hotel to find a slightly ran down establishmentin need of some serious updating. Perhaps my views were coloured by my bad exerience with my stay but perhaps not. The first room I was given was quite adequate, if small. I was then moved to a different room because of a fault with the lighting (easily fixable it turned out). The "new" room had to be the worst one in the hotel! Low lighting, no work surface, desk or table, very hot, and no shower, just a hand held spray. I left the hotel a day early. On the positive side the breakfast was wxcellent.

Nothing hill area - very safe place in London, we didn´t see anything strange on the road, we felt safe outside and inside, enough possibilites to eat outside, even some shops are open at late evenings to get some food or newspaper, underground station Nothing Hill gate very close. Hotel just normal, enough for short stay in London, we come again. Good price. We had to go to Stansted airport very early - 3 a.m. Hotel organized the taxi for us for the price 75 pounds which was good, driver came on time, we got safely and quickly to the airport. Smell from smoking in our room, we asked for non smoking room. We opened the window, sprayed the room but it didn´t help. It looks that people were smoking in this room before for longer time. Otherwise OK. Bit cold in the room.

central, well maintained in general Although it was good value for money, the room was really small and the flush was not working properly. Also there was no tray containing kettle, cups, etc... that you usually find in other hotels.
The location, the bed was comfortable, the room was not as is usual for London stuffy and over-heated, a decent set olf lifts for a 4-storey hotel, the price remains good for accommodation with breakfast. The room was too small and the bathroom (if possible) even smaller, and the corner washbasin the smallest I have ever seen. It was not possible to get any part of one's anatomy over it - hence a rather wet floor. Television reception was awful - it must have been the only TV in London with just 3 channels. Breakfast is okay but something of a competitive sport - to try to catch the toast before it disappears.
Location was convenient. Staying as a young, not visibly wealthy couple, we felt utterly unwelcome in the hotel, even though we had paid fully for the service. Both reception staff did not seem to know what they were doing, and kept us waiting for a long time to check in because they didn't know how their payment authorisation system worked. The room was small but acceptable, but the bathroom was practically a cupboard , with 2 measly bars of soap and one wet towel, and nothing else.
The bathroom looked like it had just been redone. I was traveling with my boyfriend, suster, and father. This was a trip for her birthday and we wanted to make the best of it. We werent expecting much from the pictures, but the hotel felt like it was falling apart. I know those buildings are a couple hundred years old, but it seems like very little upkeep had been put into this one. It says it's a 3 star hotel, more like 1 star and maybe motel better describes this place. The rooms were extremely tiny, it had more of a hostel feel rather than hotel. There were bunk beds and one full for 4 people. The furniture looked like it was from the 18th century and was very skeptical about whether it would last the night. The blankets were disgusting, they looked like they had never washed them ever and that they were at least 20 years old. The television looked more like a 1980s computer monitor and it did not function. I get that most homes don't have AC, but this is a hotel, that's kind of necessary. Our form of AC was an open window. Luckily we were there during cooler times, but for us Florida answer, it was a little too cool at night. We tried to close the window, but the thing almost fell off completely. Forget about making a complaint though, the staff were rude. They never looked up to greet you and when you walked up to the desk, they still wouldn't look up until you said hello first. What kind of hospitality is that? They made you feel like you were a pestering nuisance. I'm sorry I'm asking you to do your job??? We chose this place so that we could all room together, but I much would've rathered stayed in a more expensive place and have 2 rooms had I known this was a disaster of a "hotel".

Nice reception area No tea and coffee in the room, one pillow, no plug in wash basin, show was blocked, room was not en suite, poor breakfast, plastic culterly, some plastic cups in dining room, toast was very slow coming from kitchen, left luggage was in view of all guests in the reception area.
location is good , maybe the romantic garden view is good. thats all our soap was finished we call reservation desk for that and thet said that come here and bring your soap, we paid 553 pound for 7 nights to this hotel but service is very bad breakfast time is the same bad service, breads came very late , eggs were finished...bla bla
The central location. We found it noisy at night. Our upstairs neighbors clamboured around until very late and kept us awake.
Location. Needed one night passing through London and this was a great budget option. No wifi in rooms (although BT Wifi was available in mine) and no passwords available for wifi in reception because of a large group. Décor was extremely tired and worn, shower full of rust, cracks in walls and scratches in wood panels. Hole in bedside unit and toilet seat damaged. Advertised parking is on-street and restricted during the day.
location I really didn't appreciate to have a room on underground level, I didn't even know that there are such rooms, as this option is not mentioned on the web site when you book. I didn't like the attitude of the staff when asked to change the room, I had to argue about this change. Finally, after one night, I get another room on 2nd floor. It is also very noisy. The breakfast is very poor.
The location and the price. We would like a better standard breakfast.We noticed and were delighted for three new components this time; milk and breakfast cereal (wholemeal and ordinary). Now we only were missing sliced smoked ham (cold) and cheese at the breakfast-table.
We got a room We had a conformation and when we arrived there was not a room. This was the booking sites fault however we were still there without a room at 2 am. Luck have it someone checked out early and the staff cleaned the room so we got to sleep for 5 hours before we had to be on the plane.

Location. Staff was rude, not helpful, unfriendly. Breakfast included was horrible. 1 very small cup of juice, 1 very small bread roll, and coffe if available per person. Most mornings coffe was not available. Many of the quest there during our stay were complaining about the same. One couple from Greece had their belongings stolen from their room.

The laction was very central easy to get to all the major hotspots in London and close to a couple of underground stations. Bathroom could have been better, they need to upgrade their TV and a fridge in the room will be nice

Location Fire alarm going off all night, yes they couldn't figure out how to shut off alarm, entire hotel up. No customer service, AC didn't work. Took 3 days to get a hair dryer for room after one was requested several times. Staff quote, "you should have been here 30 minutes ago I just gave out our last hair dryer". I will never stay here again.
This is the second time we stayed here, so that must say something. The hotel is close to almost everything and is perfect as it has fridge, iron, hairdryer etc. Liked it a lot. The rooms differ, last time we had a bigger and better room for the same price. A softer bed would have been nice.
The location is great. We took the Heathrow express to Paddington and the hotel is 20 minutes walking or a short taxi ride. Lots of restaurants and cafes around and grocery stores if you are looking to eat breakfast in room. Although each room has different capabilities. We stayed in 3. Close to the tube and hyde park. We did not have AC In the first room no discount was offered. I was expecting a kitchenette to cook breakfast but the first room only had an electric kettle and fridge. We were hastily moved on the third night to another room, some AC problem and moved again the day after. To compensate we were given complimentary breakfast, only 1 day. Staff is foreigners and their English is limited and come across as rude even if not.

A nice little kitchenette which aloud us to make breakfast and have a fridge to keep food in. Close proximity to Paddington Station (20 minute walk or 5 minute by cab) so easy to get back and forth to Heathrow Airport. Lots of shops (pubs, restaurants, groceries) within minutes away. A 5 minute walk to Hyde Park where you can catch the double decker bus tours. Good info from front desk employees for tourist info. Within walking distance of numerous restaurants, pubs, the tube, shopping, and Portobello Market. Staff were very accommodating and our room was comfortable. Some of the rooms are tiny. Unlike American motels, there is no chest of drawers where you can unpack your clothes, although there is a wardrobe with a couple of shelves.
