Perfect and helpful staff, great breakfast, clean rooms The location, little bit far of Oxford circus but closed to the public transportation stations
The comfort and good selection of restaurants.
The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. The reception staff were not very friendly and the room was not good value for money.
location to the westend, mani from the stone roses stayed there at the same time as us so if its good enough for a rockstar then its good enough for me tv reception was poor
very good breakfast, nice freindly staff
The peacfulness of the hotel and cleanliness of room. Beds where uncomfortable and the chrages for parking for residents was unfair when you pay to stay in a hotel you should have free resident parking, i've never stayed in a hotel before that charged for parking and a £1 an hour is a ridiculous when your staying gor 24 hours or more.
staff very friendly and helpfull no nothing we had a good stay
Location was excellant and room was very nice I booked a twin room but got a double room instead. I did mention this to the receptionist but she said that they had no more twin rooms. I didn't like the fact that, even though I booked and paid, a twin room that I booked for was given to someone else or that the hotel over book certain rooms.
Location. We stayed in a room adapted for a disabled guest - I am a wheelchair user - whilst the size of the bathroom was commendable it had a bath and not a walk in shower. This was not what we expected and not like the last Novotel we stayed in. This hotel is not worthy of its 4* rating, the room was basic and lacked the usual creature comforts one would expect.
Good location for Shepherds Bush Arena and shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful
We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Handy for the tube. Quiet and airy inside.
great location maintenance wasn't great- only 1 working light bulb in bedroom, all blinds broken and curtain broken. Also no shower/gel or soap as promised when I rang to check in advance.
Staff very helpful. Room confortable. Good location in relation to tube. Room not cleaned every day - I had to ask for clean towels. Website indicated that wireless internet available but it was not. TV reception and range of channels poor.
Close to the Hammersmith Apollo. We had booked a studio apartment but had a one bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms which was very nice!
The staff were very helpful at all times. I was given a quiet room that I requested. Bins were emptied daily. Linen was changed regularly. The location is very safe and close to the tube. It is well lit. The outside entrance was kept very clean and neat.
The staff were friendly and the location in Hammersmith is very good The tv did not work properly and was supposed to be fixed by our second day. It wasnt fixed at all during our stay. The room was very hot due to some problem with the bathroom. We could not walk on the floor as it was very hot - must have been a problem with the water pipes. We thought there was underfloor heating. Apartment could do with some ventilation or air conditioning or even a portable fan.
the bathrooms and the kitchen lounge and the proximity to the town the bed was too small we are both tall and king bed is usually the norm these days
Excellent standards excellent service excellent value for money None
convenient No problems
It was a fantastic location - so near both Hammersmith tube stations. Great value for money, and would be great for families. Would stay here again, but maybe not just for one night, Garden amazing at front of main office and building!! It wasn't that clean, and there was a strange smell in my apartment. There could be more toiletries given. My shower didn't drain properly, and one sink got blocked... So the maintenance of the apartments could be better.
studio apartment was very clean faulty light bulbs had not been replaced.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Shockingly expensive wifi if you want to use it in your room. £16 / night is a rip off. There is a free connection in the lobby but it's very slow.
A special thankyou to Laura who sorted our room out. Staff very helpfull, friendly yet professional.
The room was very quiet No free internet access from the room
Room was clean and comfprtable Breakfast had little choice and coffee not good
Ease of access to Train/Bus Stations; Friendly and Helpful Staff None
Parking very limited - Parking and Hotel expensive for falilities provided - no restuarant, basically an overpriced Travel Lodge - Heating in room did not work
I liked that we could come and go with ease, and that the staff in reception were always friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were a little cold, and the value for money compared to other hotels in the area was poor.
Very comfortable and close to where we wanted to be[ Fulham Football Club], family party also freindly helpfully staff.
Room was very nice and clean. Offer of breakfast was not very big, salami was missing and cheese.
Excellent and friendly staff and good service We had a room on the thirth floor, 67 steps, and no elevator. For olderly people can this be a problem.
staff very friendly and helpful
friendliness of staff; beautiful rooms and pub; atmosphere in general busy street (can get quite noisy); breakfast service
Small independent feel with a great bar and good breakfast. Excellent value for money. Noisy air conditioning on the top floor.
The hotel has a good location, close to the underground stations but also viewing some green in the city. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The service at the hotel was good. No complaints about cleanliness of the room and /or the facilities. We very much enjoyed the English breakfast and the food in general as well.
The food was lovely and the staff were friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank-you
Friendly staff.Well appointed room. Good breakfast. Above a nice pub. Close to Tube. Fair price. Nothing we didn't like.
The rooms very clean & tidy. Good en-suite bathroom. Good TV with wide range of channels. The room over looked a road but I had no trouble with any traffic noise. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.
Room was very nice, breakfast was really good Our top bedroom was opened from the top and could hear all the traffic all the time and couldn't close it, i went down to ask a member of staff to have a look at and said would be up in 5 mins and never showed up and when i went down later on way out was gone for the day
Very friendly and helpful staff.Very comfortable accommodation. Easy access to buses, trains and restaurants. Maybe put "mature couples" on lower floor due to number of stairs. a small fridge in room would be an advantage.
Friendly staff Rooms not to a good standard bed uncomfortable
clean house, pleasant people, we were able to check in after midnight breakfast crowded and very little choice
the location kitchen can't be used by guests
Room was basic but had everything we needed. Room was clean, with the exception of the strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke. Location was very good - exactly what we needed. Breakfast was very good. Checking-in was a little confusing and unprofessional. Room was clean, with the exception of the strong lingering smell of cigarette smoke - lots of cigarette butts on bathroom window-sill. Mattress was extremely uncomfortable - could feel all the springs sticking in you.
I feel that when booking it should be with one specific hotel, not one in the group which are all on the same road. We were at 3 addresses before getting our room. We did not stay in the Royal Guest House booked.
the friendlyness of the staff
The hotel manager was superb, very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and presentable, if a little on the warm side for me personally. Basic accommodation, but fair for the location and price. On of the hotel staff members insulted my daughter at departure. I subsequently spoke to the manager who said he would look into it.
Location and proximity to Hammersmith Broadway, transport and shop
The facilities were clean, and staff welcoming. Room was noisy and bed uncomfortable.
My parents stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. We've confirmed with the hotel staff on first day we move in that the soaps in room would be replaced and offered new daily. They didn't. Not until we went down to the reception again n again, the staff finally remembered to give us some new, though it's already the last night of our stay. I think the careless staff indeed gave us a bad overall impression of its service.
Exactly what it offers on the website
Simple and easy, very close to tube and easy to find The staff coukld not find an iron(nothing really to moan about).
Good location if you are going to the Apollo, decent breakfas One tatty towel only! You can hear all the noises from the room above
Good, clean, quiet hotel. Excellent value for money and good breakfast. Stayed on top floor and no lift, no problem for us, but can see it would be for others.
The appartment, although not directly adjacent to the hotel is perfect for a small family or group to base themselves in the Hammersmith area. The keys to the appartment don't give access to the main door of the hotel so you need to ring the bell each morning for breakfast.
Check in desk staff were very friendly. The room was not equipped with working facilities for instance the kettle plug was in between the beds, the digital box was not working neither was the tv 1-5 due to the lack of aerial, their was no duvet for the beds just blanket and additional blankets, for this weather it was too cold for that. I also experienced difficulties with the toilet flush.
Convenient to transportation services. Clean and functional. Lack of 'helpful' services. For example: no secure storage for holding luggage; no late check-out.
The room was very clean and comfortable. The location is very good, it is convenient to access both the Heathrow airport and the center of the city. There is no elevator. Also no internet.
Nice small hotel. A little bit noisy but this did not anonoy.
Excellent full english breakfast, staff were friendly. Steep stairs, no lift.
