From the moment you walk through the door you are treated like royalty - my only disappointment was that I was only staying the one night - suites superb, staff warm, friendly and very helpful - unlike the obnoxious staff that I have encountered at other 5 star hotels Nothing - everything fantastic
excellent staff, and service. The chino latino restaurant is very good, the chef deserves the honor.
We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a river view- fantastic! It was quite far from the tube
The hotel is very good, and worthed for the amout of money
Partial view of the river room was given when we expected a blocked view one due to the special rate booked which made us quite happy. Some items were missing like pan and cutting knive when we arrived but was quickly replaced when we asked from the housekeeping. tv in the living room was not working but was quickly repaired. The hotel was very gracious with welcome basket of cereals, mineral waters, chocolate bar, and jam. Two bottles of free mineral water everyday. Beds were made every night with chocolate given. Free wi-fi internet in the room as well as in all areas in the hotel and free access for computer use in business center were very convenient. Vauxhall underground station could be reched within 5- 10 min. We were very satisfied
Staff were very helpful and friendly. When my husband left his mobile in the taxi, they arranged to have it returned in about 2 hours. On request, they also gave us a view of Westminster and changed our original room. The room cleaning and servicing was a little erratic. Sometimes different things were not replaced, such as dishwashing tablets, but as soon as housekeeping was contacted, missing items were brought to the room straight away.
This was an amazing modern hotel that I had a really good young vibe but also took really good care of my husband and I and her 16-month-old child. They be provided a travel cot with a goose down blanket and the staff was very pleasant with him especially in the restaurant/lounge. Service was excellent the only downfall was it took the kitchen longer than normal to get food out in the restaurant.
very nice hotel , the staff are all wonderful and helpful. very close to the eye of London, the nearest tube ( vauxhaull) is five minutes walk, the bus stop is at the hotel entrance.all and all this hotel is a five star with good value for your money.
I did like the complimentary promotional products. I changed the room when I checked in So that my nephews would have a seperate room. The room (450) had cigerette burns in the carpet and smelt of smoke especially the curtains- I am not a smoker.
Upgraded to larger room - very comfortable room Remote from tube and difficult to get taxi
The Park Plaza Riverbank London is perfectly situated, particularly if you will rely on public transportation to get around London. The hotel is a short walk to the Vauxhall Station, which includes access to National Rail, bus, and the underground (Victoria line). The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very modern. There were illuminated controls on each side of the bed for the lights, plus an electronic method for lighting up a "privacy" or "please clean the room" sign outside the door. The bathroom included both a tub and a (very small, but well-appointed) walk-in shower (which did not leak). The price was excellent for a London hotel. We did not use the restaurant or other facilities at the hotel, so we cannot comment on them.
Fantastic hotel, staff very friendly
Remote to TV etc. didn't work. Wall picture falling off, couldn'y get a cup of coffee at 9.30 (machine being serviced
The location of the hotel and great value for money. The room was very comfortable with a well equipped bathroom. There were several holes in the bed sheets (lack of attention to detail)!
the staff the beds were uncomfortable
Very nice hotel well worth £25 extra for a great veiw of River and Westminster nice room great bathroom nice freindly Bar. Staff were great
The staff are very welcoming. The breakfast is very good and fresh. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom very modern and stylish.
location volume of noise of air conditioning and the efficiency of it
the room made you feel very relaxed and the hotel was kept very clean. the location was perfect for everything we needed.
i asked staff to show me the where the stairs were as i do not like treveling in lifts, they said that there were no stairs for guests, although we were pleased with everything that you hotel has to offer including the comfort and clenliness of the rooms i will not choose to stay at your hotel in the future.can you please reply to this comment at your earliest convenience
comfort and location The airconditioning was not working in the first room and I had to insist on moving before being moved to an apartment where the TV was not working!
the convience of the location
The ambiance of the hotel was excellent Would have liked a better selection of food available.
New nice and clean rooms with good AC Need larger Mac 29" computer if you plan to use this for a TV USB power hub for iPhone
Location excellent, customer services excellent. Room service menu out of date - our choice from the menu was no longer available
Very central and convenient. Light airy, great cocktail lounge and late supper we had there was good too. Mix up over our booking which took a while to sort out completely - 24 hrs!
The hotel is in a great spot where you can walk to see Big Ben in 10-15 minutes or over to Buckingham Palace in 20 minutes. The hotel was generally very clean.WiFi access was also a great help. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are reminiscent of small dorm rooms complete with a MAC as the TV/entertainment system. The bathrooms are extremely small and you have a sink where you almost stand in the shower to brush your teeth. Room service food is very average quality much like in college. I felt like I was back in some weird college type throwback staying at this hotel.
We arrived from a 10-hour international flight, and needed to cope with jetlag. V. comfortable suite, particularly liked the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoyed dinner at the City Cafe - good choices, including comfort food (soup, etc) after long flight. Bed and bed linens superb, bathroom was spacious and well-fitted for two people to share. Plenty of newspapers in lobby. Two iMacs in the suite for both TV and free internet connection - brilliant and much appreciated. Nice touches of complimentary fruit bowl/wine/water/chocolates in the room, much appreciated again. Taxis seemed permanently available in front of the hotel. There was no door between the bedroom and the sitting room of the suite - so getting up at 3.00am to read would have disturbed the sleeping partner. Also, there were v. bright LEDs on the light controls which disturbed my sleep. No clock/clock radio etc in the room to advise the time - you would always need a wake-up call. It's a 25-minute walk to Victoria station, not possible with cases; taxi costs ran between £6-8 each journey - not bad, and took 6-7 minutes.
the pillows and the sheets were subpar
great convenience -- location, restuarant, appliances in room no view
Great service, location and class.
I thought that it was a very welcoming, clean and cool hotel with excellent staff. Food was great. The drinks were expensive and the lifts very slow.
The hotel was central for all our needs. It was very quiet without the usual hustle of London City Hotels. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The food we experienced in the lounge and at breakfast was fresh tasty and well presented. We were sorry to not have stayed longer than one night. It was unfortunate that we had been charged twice on our pre-booking which took a couple of phone calls to the hotel to secure our reimbursement.
Great location for being close to Victoria Station and an easy walk to all the main sights such as Westminster Abbey, or the river walk. The room, while small, was very comfortable and cozy. The rooms are a bit small so it was initially difficult to navigate my bag into the room. Also, the front desk staff told me when I checked in late on Sunday that most places were open for dinner until 11pm, but everything was closed after 9:30pm.
Excellent Location in Pimlico. Very quiet. Very safe. Window opened to a very quiet courtyard of apartments so we didn't have to always have the air conditioner on. Breakfast was very expensive.
Excellent value in the heart of London. Hard to fault.
Helpful staff at check-in. I stayed during a tube stike and they notified of this and offered help when checking out for different travel options The TV didn't work so I contacted the main desk who sent someone to solve issue. Initially this was fixed, however as the TV, DVD, CD player and wi-fi connection were all accessed through the same pc unit, when I came to play a DVD it again didn't work. Aagin I called the main desk who were very helpful as was the member of staff who came to fix it again. However he mention that to watch a DVD I woulod have been charged as it was used through the PC - this was not mentioned in the hotel details, just that a DVD player was available.
The reception staff made me feel welcome and were helpful. The rooms were very cold due to 1) heaters being turned down 2)the draft in the bathroom was akin to having a window open.
Its central and as managed apartments go is ideal. It has architecture, history,a quite private garden in Pimlico...yet totally accessible to all central London facilities. From The Tate, the Houses of Parliament,The Eye,the Royal Parks,The West End Theatres ....all within a £10 taxi ride. my third stay....and aircraft noise is a bit of a drag
Room recently refurbished, very nice neighborhoud though a bit away from the buzz of London. Beautiful, quiet place. Extremely recommendable! Not really a negative point, but if you book run-of-house you will stay in a guestroom without cooking facilities.
good facilities, quiet location, convenience.
A one bedroom suite with a kitchenette, Convenient to public transportation, Great location just off the Thames near Westminster and Victoria Station, On-site Grocer, Cafe, Restaurant, Gym, Pool, Parking. We've stayed at Dolphin Square many times over the years and it has the wonderful feel of a little home-away-from-home with a real apartment for the price of a hotel room. Highly recommended.
I liked the freedom to use the kitchen in the apartment and the friendliness of the staff. The room was spacious and clean. Nothing open to eat or have a coffee when I came back in the early afternoon
Size and facilities in the room Booked two rooms and ended up in opposite ends of the hotel. For a Scandinavian the lobby staff is almost to polite and helpful - we're not used to that kind of attention.
Loved the gym, pool, sauna and steam room! The apartment was a great big size and was awesome.
The siaze of the room and the bed was very comfortable no
Great place but no AC, it was hot and muggy in london and having no AC just makes it no fun. Otherwise these apartments are excellent.
lovely hotel very central would deffinately stay here again.
Bathroom exceptionally poor.
The location of the Hotel. The cleanliness. The staff.
Attitude of the staff, friendly and not supersilious. I forgot ot mention that the shower in my room sprayed directly onto the opposite wall rather than in the shower tray
It was quiet, lobby was clean and modern. The room was much smaller than expected, for 3 people it was very tight. We had only 2 sets (like coffee cups, shower fluid). The view was very disappointing. Hotel is far from metro station in nasty area.
Location We staying in hotel for 2 nights and at 8am both mornings workmen where outside our hotel They where really loud and drilling. We complained as we where not warned about this but where told we could not be could not be moved.
My wife and I both enjoyed the friendly atmosphere The hotel was too warm!
The Breakfast was very good. The rooms were a good size too. The rooms were boiling hot. they are installing air conditioning at the moment, but our room did not have any, and it was uncomfortable, and unbearable to sleep in.
Good facility's, new Hotel, central location.
front guys were terrible. we reserved taxi in the dawn for the airport but they didn't even checked. it we get the taxi by ourselves we were late for the bus for the airport inthe 3 o clock in the morning
Staff really friendly, rooms really clean.
Staff excellent. Close to local event. Elevator out of order for repairs. No grab rails for shower. No fan in bathroom. No easy chairs. Dim lighting, not suitable for reading. Confusing and contradictory information about parking.
We enjoyed staying at the Grange Rochester and it is a quiet venue, close to the West End with free parking all weekend. The staff were very helpful, well groomed, cheerful and efficient. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The only problem we had was two light bulbs that did not work in our room and should have been checked by the housekeeper/chamber maid.
Location is good. The rooms are very dated. The hotel staff isn't very nice. The hotel as some sort of sad atmosphere.
Nice location, friendly service.
nice beds None
it was very close to the places we had to go. breakfast was not included the price and it was quite expensive for continental!
Excellent location. Room was clean and comfortable. Good size for one person. Would have been small for two. The toilet did not flush properly.
The accommodation was adequate. Service was quite poor. An iron was brought to my room and placed face down causing the water to leak everywhere. Then I had to wait an hour for coffee to be brought as there wasn't any in the room. After ringing reception three times I gave up and went to bed. The bed was so hard I wasn't able to sleep.
Location, staff work are exellent, I have got enough for the money I paid A litttle renovation of the room I had would be a great idea
We liked your new bathroom and toilets, and the window view, and breakfast absolutely perfect..... but could be nice to invest some money into better mattraces :O( that was very poor condition and pillow etc as well.... :O( such a great location, but i do prefer a quality sleep in comfortable bed.... I dont mid no lift in a hotel, i dont mind bathroom and toilets separate... so if in future your bedding and beds are in better quality, i will definately return back :O)
I felt the staff wre very pleasant and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed being so close to my destination (on the Mall) and being able to walk through St James Park to get there every day. It would have been helpful for breakfast to be available earlier than 7.30 start. I felt the shared showers were a definite drawback, and a deterent for further bookings. The room was basic and the sink in my room was cracked. My room was street-side and I didn't sleep well at all due to noise : I strongly recommend anyone thinking of booking to book a room overlooking the park!
Very close to London City No
Two things: location and cleanliness The hotel staff was not so helpful and kind.
Quiet, good location, good breakfast Really old and in need of upgrading, specially old filthy carpets!
There were no good points whatsoever - sorry one, street parking was free over night but then that was nothing to do with the Hotel Poor Description of Hotel, its more a Hostel than hotel. Foreign reception staff unable to answer any questions. Over hot, terrible dirty rooms, noisy and then we get to the bathrooms... Which I will not go into. This place should be condemmed
Location, initial impressions of reception and lounge. Bedroom was basic as an understatement and not what I was expecting. The 3 single beds would more suit lodging workmen than tourists.
the location - it's really close to Victoria Station. And the room we stayed in was very quiet, another plus for the hotel. The buidling is run down, the staff is unfriendly and breakfast does not open before 8 a.m. Facilities are clean, but smelly.
The location was excellent - within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. comfortable, clean bed Would have been nice to have had en suite facilites.
It was quiet
it's very close to Victoria Station. My room was newly renovated. Friendly staff.
manager and staff friendly and helpful, very welcoming and attentive - lovely! we will stay here again definately nothing
i can honestly say the location is the only good thing about the hotel The hotel was shabby with holes in the walls and work half finished. The showers took (no joke) 10 minutes to get hot but not even to the correct temperature. The continental breakfast was only toast and tea/coffee!!A very budget hotel!!
Clean rooms, pleasent neighborhood and convenient location to popular attractions. In room coffee and soap were not replenished after the first night of our four night stay. The bathroom was quite small and cramped.
Staff were very welcoming and location is extremely good. Rooms are very rundown and shabby, although clean.
we enjoyed the Breakfast served bath room was very small
A well-mannered receptionist, and he offered a refund as soon as it turned out it was not the room we'd booked. We'd booked a triple room, what we were given was a double room with an extra bed. We tried to explain there is a difference, but the receptionist told us it was a triple room! The room was untidy, the "furniture" was broken, there was one towel and one bed cover (no sign of blankets!) for three of us.
The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good and the Reception staff helpful.
the staff went out of there way to help wiyh anything. maybe they could a add acooked breakfast but that would be the only down side.
The hotel is very central and is located in a beautiful part of the city, well-connected to many other place of interest in London, also close to major sightseeing places. The bus stop in fron of the hotel serves as an excellent means of transport for the Westminster area, Trafalgar Square, Victoria Station etc. The staff were very interested and friendly. The road on which the hotel is located is indeed elegant. Many restaurants and supermarkets are within walking reach. The room was as silent as expected. There is an international adaptor in the room which we appreciated. The room was small. We could hardly move around with our toddler. If you have a double room with two suitcases, you canot have any space to move. There is no rack for placing the luggages, which I think is a must. The shower head in the bathroom is fixed, cannot be handled or rotated. This creates difficulty when having to bathe your toddler/child. There is no space/facility for cots in the room. The door is very heavy and it takes real strenght to open it. The stairs are so very short that you are scared of slipping back.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bath was exceptionally clean. The location was great. We would definitely stay there again when in London.
Enjoyed the full English breakfast each day.
close to everything liked everything about it
The location of the Luna And Simone Hotel is outstanding, very close to the Victoria Tube Station and within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. The hotel staff was professional and very helpful. The rooms are small but very comfortable. The English style breakfast service in the morning was always good and prepared as per our requests. It was raining during our stay and the staff let us borrow two extra umbrella's. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Our two rooms were on the second from the top floor, carrying our luggage up the many flights of stairs was the only item I did not like about the hotel.
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast very tasy. The location was very convienient to Victoria Station.
helpful and friendly staff, especially Peter at breakfast! Our triple room was very hot.
Centrally located, fair price, cleanliness. Just that there's no lift, but I don't suppose there's much you can do about that.
The hotel's proximity to Victoria station, the friendliness of the hotel staff and the personal service including the home cooked breakfast.
The best thing about the stay was the friendly, informative staff. Nothing to complain about at all really. Great location, nice breakfast.
The family who runs the hotel does everything right.
a nice pleasent nature of staff, followed by lovely clean room . recommended.
Clean and nice bathroom Bathroom had no floorheat so it was too cold. Breakfast was too simple, no bacon and eggs. We were unlucky to have visitors from Poland above that made alot of noice during nighttime, and the hotel staff spent too long time to deal with it.
This hotel is more clean that a pharmacy. The staff is very polite and helpfull.Breakfast-fabulous.I had all the time a good connection for my laptop. The location is excellent; it is a safe place for a woman and I hope to stay again .
The location in terms of near to everything Noise due to a) Location and b) paper thin walls
clean rooms and the location There was no lift and no brown bread for breakfast
Hotel very clean, good position Room very small.
The price was very competitive for the area. Freindly enougth, and the premises was quiet. Free internet was also a plus. UNcomfortable bed. The room was fairly small, not enougth to put myself off but for a couple I tihnk it would be too small.
convenience of area lack of parking for guests also expected a double bed and a single
I did sightseeing. The hotel is located in an excellent place.
We stayed only one day, it is very close to the center and it was relatively cheap. We could here people from upstairs.
Good location in a good area, within walking distance to major landmarks and transportation. Wifi was useless. Room and bathroom were very small for the price.
The hotel has been refurbished since i last stayed and the standard was amazing! i was thrilled with the high quality of the beds, and new furnishings throughout the hotel. The staff were great and my room was huge! I would definitely use again and recommend for value for money quality.
we enjoyed being able to come back and have a coffe or a beer at the little bar area. hours for the breakfast
location to victoria station very crammed room
The room was nice! Breakfast was poor and had short opening hours.
Even though my room was next to alift and faced the main road I give this hotel 10/10. It was my first positive experience at staying in a London hotel and great value for the money...Would go back again. I did not stay longer?
The hotel is located in a very central location, only a short walk from the Victoria station. I was able to walk to my business meeting, which was nice. Internet was included. The speed seemed variable. The bathroom was completely renovated, albeit small. The continental breakfast was good and the staff at breakfast were very friendly. As is the case with any budget London hotel, the room was very small. The bed extends right to the computer desk, so I had to sit on the desk to work on the computer. With my luggage in the room, there wasn't a lot space to move around. I had a room overlooking the street and it was fairly loud. I used ear plugs to be able to sleep and recommend them if you plan to stay here!
The is about 5 minutes walking from victoria station! is near everything. The hotel was perfect
Friendly helpful staff at reception. A large clean well furnished room. Good value for money and at the price, one of the better ones I have stayed in this year. Room 109, although pleasant and clean and well furnished, was situated on street level and outside of the lift. There was cosiderable noise at times from other hotel guests using the lift and from public on the outside pavement. The reviews about the small bathroom/shower facilities were true to life but not an issue for me.
Convenient to Victoria Station; beds were good Changing rooms after one night; noisy rooms on the street side. No temperature control, locked windows
It was value for money as for location, next to victoria, that was all.. The room I disagree as we had many issues with cleanliness of the room, peeling wallpaper, noise from outside which upset our sleeping with the very busy road and lack of double glazing which could solve the issue, the curtain was also dirty due to the window which was allowing in cold air. The noise from the neighbours was unbareable and we were awaken many times but this was a social problem. Lack of sky channels, we had one channel. The room size would be perfect for a single buisnessman, not two people on a short break.
room was clean, beds were comfy, reception staff very helpful, good location. Room was next to service sfaff utilities, very noisy in the morning, breakfast chaos trying to get served and seated.
Our room was situated at the back of the hotel and was so quiet - no traffic noise at all. Room was very small
I was given a quiet room at the back of the hotel with all that I needed. It was clean & comfortable. Breakfast good & plentiful. The breakfast room could have been larger and the servery very congested.
the location of the hotel - near victoria station too many doors
good location - clean room plus small shower room stain on blanket - dirty towels outside room
Nice location - near Victoria Station The bathroom was the smallest bathroom I've ever seen, no joke, like 3 foot by 3 foot; you were basically in the shower if you were on the toilet. There was just a curtain for the shower, not like an actual shower that you step into. But it was doable for the situation.
central position, cleanness very, very small room, everything had to remain in luggages :-(
Good location. The room was clean but the window would not close properly, the bathroomwas not fit to be used by a family its size was tiny. The breakfast facilities were not big enough and turned into a joke when the toaster broke down and the fire alarm was activated.
Good location, not expensive. Good breakfast. Do not use the internet on lobby, it will only take your money and won't help with real surfing, just rubbish publicity.
Good location for my visit and good value for London. Basic but quite adequate for what we wanted. Nothing.
Basic, clean and functional. The bathroom was not brilliant, an installed wet room with no lock on the door and the shower was not good. Hot water went off for a short period. I was told that this is usual if a lot of people in the hotel use the showers at the same time. In the Midlands this would classed as a Bed & Breakfast, not a hotel. The bathroom was far too basic considering the money paid for the room, even for London.
