From the moment you walk through the door you are treated like royalty - my only disappointment was that I was only staying the one night - suites superb, staff warm, friendly and very helpful - unlike the obnoxious staff that I have encountered at other 5 star hotels Nothing - everything fantastic
The hotel is very good, and worthed for the amout of money
I did like the complimentary promotional products. I changed the room when I checked in So that my nephews would have a seperate room. The room (450) had cigerette burns in the carpet and smelt of smoke especially the curtains- I am not a smoker.
We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite with a river view- fantastic! It was quite far from the tube
Partial view of the river room was given when we expected a blocked view one due to the special rate booked which made us quite happy. Some items were missing like pan and cutting knive when we arrived but was quickly replaced when we asked from the housekeeping. tv in the living room was not working but was quickly repaired. The hotel was very gracious with welcome basket of cereals, mineral waters, chocolate bar, and jam. Two bottles of free mineral water everyday. Beds were made every night with chocolate given. Free wi-fi internet in the room as well as in all areas in the hotel and free access for computer use in business center were very convenient. Vauxhall underground station could be reched within 5- 10 min. We were very satisfied
very nice hotel , the staff are all wonderful and helpful. very close to the eye of London, the nearest tube ( vauxhaull) is five minutes walk, the bus stop is at the hotel entrance.all and all this hotel is a five star with good value for your money.
excellent staff, and service. The chino latino restaurant is very good, the chef deserves the honor.
Upgraded to larger room - very comfortable room Remote from tube and difficult to get taxi
This was an amazing modern hotel that I had a really good young vibe but also took really good care of my husband and I and her 16-month-old child. They be provided a travel cot with a goose down blanket and the staff was very pleasant with him especially in the restaurant/lounge. Service was excellent the only downfall was it took the kitchen longer than normal to get food out in the restaurant.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. When my husband left his mobile in the taxi, they arranged to have it returned in about 2 hours. On request, they also gave us a view of Westminster and changed our original room. The room cleaning and servicing was a little erratic. Sometimes different things were not replaced, such as dishwashing tablets, but as soon as housekeeping was contacted, missing items were brought to the room straight away.
location volume of noise of air conditioning and the efficiency of it
the staff the beds were uncomfortable
The Park Plaza Riverbank London is perfectly situated, particularly if you will rely on public transportation to get around London. The hotel is a short walk to the Vauxhall Station, which includes access to National Rail, bus, and the underground (Victoria line). The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very modern. There were illuminated controls on each side of the bed for the lights, plus an electronic method for lighting up a "privacy" or "please clean the room" sign outside the door. The bathroom included both a tub and a (very small, but well-appointed) walk-in shower (which did not leak). The price was excellent for a London hotel. We did not use the restaurant or other facilities at the hotel, so we cannot comment on them.
i asked staff to show me the where the stairs were as i do not like treveling in lifts, they said that there were no stairs for guests, although we were pleased with everything that you hotel has to offer including the comfort and clenliness of the rooms i will not choose to stay at your hotel in the future.can you please reply to this comment at your earliest convenience
the room made you feel very relaxed and the hotel was kept very clean. the location was perfect for everything we needed.
Very nice hotel well worth £25 extra for a great veiw of River and Westminster nice room great bathroom nice freindly Bar. Staff were great
Fantastic hotel, staff very friendly
comfort and location The airconditioning was not working in the first room and I had to insist on moving before being moved to an apartment where the TV was not working!
Remote to TV etc. didn't work. Wall picture falling off, couldn'y get a cup of coffee at 9.30 (machine being serviced
The location of the hotel and great value for money. The room was very comfortable with a well equipped bathroom. There were several holes in the bed sheets (lack of attention to detail)!
The staff are very welcoming. The breakfast is very good and fresh. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom very modern and stylish.
The hotel was central for all our needs. It was very quiet without the usual hustle of London City Hotels. The staff were extremely helpful and efficient. The food we experienced in the lounge and at breakfast was fresh tasty and well presented. We were sorry to not have stayed longer than one night. It was unfortunate that we had been charged twice on our pre-booking which took a couple of phone calls to the hotel to secure our reimbursement.
The ambiance of the hotel was excellent Would have liked a better selection of food available.
I thought that it was a very welcoming, clean and cool hotel with excellent staff. Food was great. The drinks were expensive and the lifts very slow.
We arrived from a 10-hour international flight, and needed to cope with jetlag. V. comfortable suite, particularly liked the floor-to-ceiling windows. Enjoyed dinner at the City Cafe - good choices, including comfort food (soup, etc) after long flight. Bed and bed linens superb, bathroom was spacious and well-fitted for two people to share. Plenty of newspapers in lobby. Two iMacs in the suite for both TV and free internet connection - brilliant and much appreciated. Nice touches of complimentary fruit bowl/wine/water/chocolates in the room, much appreciated again. Taxis seemed permanently available in front of the hotel. There was no door between the bedroom and the sitting room of the suite - so getting up at 3.00am to read would have disturbed the sleeping partner. Also, there were v. bright LEDs on the light controls which disturbed my sleep. No clock/clock radio etc in the room to advise the time - you would always need a wake-up call. It's a 25-minute walk to Victoria station, not possible with cases; taxi costs ran between £6-8 each journey - not bad, and took 6-7 minutes.
Great service, location and class.
Very central and convenient. Light airy, great cocktail lounge and late supper we had there was good too. Mix up over our booking which took a while to sort out completely - 24 hrs!
the pillows and the sheets were subpar
great convenience -- location, restuarant, appliances in room no view
the convience of the location
New nice and clean rooms with good AC Need larger Mac 29" computer if you plan to use this for a TV USB power hub for iPhone
Location excellent, customer services excellent. Room service menu out of date - our choice from the menu was no longer available
The hotel is in a great spot where you can walk to see Big Ben in 10-15 minutes or over to Buckingham Palace in 20 minutes. The hotel was generally very clean.WiFi access was also a great help. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are reminiscent of small dorm rooms complete with a MAC as the TV/entertainment system. The bathrooms are extremely small and you have a sink where you almost stand in the shower to brush your teeth. Room service food is very average quality much like in college. I felt like I was back in some weird college type throwback staying at this hotel.
Size and facilities in the room Booked two rooms and ended up in opposite ends of the hotel. For a Scandinavian the lobby staff is almost to polite and helpful - we're not used to that kind of attention.
good facilities, quiet location, convenience.
Room recently refurbished, very nice neighborhoud though a bit away from the buzz of London. Beautiful, quiet place. Extremely recommendable! Not really a negative point, but if you book run-of-house you will stay in a guestroom without cooking facilities.
The siaze of the room and the bed was very comfortable no
Loved the gym, pool, sauna and steam room! The apartment was a great big size and was awesome.
Great place but no AC, it was hot and muggy in london and having no AC just makes it no fun. Otherwise these apartments are excellent.
Its central and as managed apartments go is ideal. It has architecture, history,a quite private garden in Pimlico...yet totally accessible to all central London facilities. From The Tate, the Houses of Parliament,The Eye,the Royal Parks,The West End Theatres ....all within a £10 taxi ride. my third stay....and aircraft noise is a bit of a drag
I liked the freedom to use the kitchen in the apartment and the friendliness of the staff. The room was spacious and clean. Nothing open to eat or have a coffee when I came back in the early afternoon
A one bedroom suite with a kitchenette, Convenient to public transportation, Great location just off the Thames near Westminster and Victoria Station, On-site Grocer, Cafe, Restaurant, Gym, Pool, Parking. We've stayed at Dolphin Square many times over the years and it has the wonderful feel of a little home-away-from-home with a real apartment for the price of a hotel room. Highly recommended.
Excellent value in the heart of London. Hard to fault.
Helpful staff at check-in. I stayed during a tube stike and they notified of this and offered help when checking out for different travel options The TV didn't work so I contacted the main desk who sent someone to solve issue. Initially this was fixed, however as the TV, DVD, CD player and wi-fi connection were all accessed through the same pc unit, when I came to play a DVD it again didn't work. Aagin I called the main desk who were very helpful as was the member of staff who came to fix it again. However he mention that to watch a DVD I woulod have been charged as it was used through the PC - this was not mentioned in the hotel details, just that a DVD player was available.
The reception staff made me feel welcome and were helpful. The rooms were very cold due to 1) heaters being turned down 2)the draft in the bathroom was akin to having a window open.
location No Hotel bar
Booked 2 rooms. One room did not have heat. Hotel staff could not fix. No hot water in bathroom.
Good location, friendly staff The bed was broken in first room, however the staff did immediately relocate us
Excellent for location for business next day. Room was good and staff were friendly and helpfull
good value.Useful position
Room carpet needed cleaning. Room 12. Bathroom could be cleaner
the Coffee lounge there was no remote control for the fan
Not having a retaurant
The room was very clean and beds comfortable, upkeep of rooms to a good level too Some of reception staff weren't very cheerful, making us think twice about asking for help when we had an issue with a broken socket in our room
easy walking distance to central london outside the congestion zone
a nice pleasent nature of staff, followed by lovely clean room . recommended.
The location in terms of near to everything Noise due to a) Location and b) paper thin walls
This hotel is more clean that a pharmacy. The staff is very polite and helpfull.Breakfast-fabulous.I had all the time a good connection for my laptop. The location is excellent; it is a safe place for a woman and I hope to stay again .
We stayed only one day, it is very close to the center and it was relatively cheap. We could here people from upstairs.
Clean and nice bathroom Bathroom had no floorheat so it was too cold. Breakfast was too simple, no bacon and eggs. We were unlucky to have visitors from Poland above that made alot of noice during nighttime, and the hotel staff spent too long time to deal with it.
I did sightseeing. The hotel is located in an excellent place.
clean rooms and the location There was no lift and no brown bread for breakfast
Hotel very clean, good position Room very small.
convenience of area lack of parking for guests also expected a double bed and a single
The price was very competitive for the area. Freindly enougth, and the premises was quiet. Free internet was also a plus. UNcomfortable bed. The room was fairly small, not enougth to put myself off but for a couple I tihnk it would be too small.
Convenience to conference at Victoria. Close to tube station. Good value. Unfriendly staff on departure. Lack of cold water in room. Temperature of room too high even with fan on all night.
Great breakfast,clean rooms, great location
Proximity to subway, new furniture
excellent full breakfast good location rooms somewhat small
Good tube connection. room was rather small. electronic door didn t work. for 2 days. didn t even get a free coffee after waiting in front off our room for nearly 1 hour!!!!
Location suitable for my conference, helpful staff, large comfortable room Very small bathroom, although it was adequate for my needs.
Completely impersonal hotel. No character, no bar, no restaurant....I woudnt have paid £20 for it if I had seen it in advance!
It was open 24 hours and was well located. At a Best Western I expect to be able to eat a meal and have a drink, yet there was no resterant or bar.
the room was too small and you could not get a case through the door without a stuggle
Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They answered all our questions and helped us acclimate ourselves with the area. The assisted us with our bags and provided a very clean and beautifully decorated room with added extras including bottled water, tea station, and snacks. Breakfast was hot and delicious with a variety of foods to choose from. It was absolutely delightful staying here. The only downfall about this hotel is that the room was a bit small, however it is London and I suppose it will be hard to find spacious rooms anywhere you go there.
Central location Traffic noise quite disturbing and went on all night!
The hotel was simple, clean, and the breakfast was included!! Tiny rooms. A bit overpriced, even for Great Britain.
For the time spent there it was very central for my itinerary.
Close to amenities
Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. The shower ran hot and cold even after being attended to by maintenace staff
Only the location 12 min walk to Big Ben , quiet Cleaning , Too small for 3 people or even for one , The window was broken , Not enough space for clothes for 3 people , the exchange money with no good fair , No towels in the room ( 2 small only for 3 people )
The location is good Very dirty room, dirty bed throws, curtains, dirty carpet, mouldy bathroom with bugs on wall. Paper thin walls and ceiling, heating didn't work, you have to pay upfront and get charged for using card machine. Bed collapsed in the middle.
I was decieved by the way they advertised themself. It' a shamed that you offer this hotel. this hotel is very filthy, stinks and duty. I travel alot and I have never experience something like this. My room was in the basement it stinks, was duty and no bathroom.it was noisy from the trafic above me, no windows .You shouldn't offer this hotel in your site. I'm considering to contact my credit read above coments. I'm considering to contac my credit card and put a stop on the payment. I will contact any travel site and will write my experience with this hotel
The ensuite was newly put in so that was the only clean point Television didnt work when we arrived, had to ask for hairdryer and tea bags, the cups never got washed, had to fill the kettle in the next room and put it on the floor to plug it in to boil
Staff at reception were quite friendly and welcoming! Bathroom shower wasn't working.Water was always cold!!! Breakfast could have been better.
The staff (2 persons) ware kind ,and the place is very good.Near, underground station, near the center. The room was dirty,no towels in the bath...the beds were almost-broken,the heater not working. It's the worst hotel I have ever stayed. It's not worth the money we give. And we stayed at the best room in the hotel...
Good location Not very clean. If you are just looking for a bed to sleep in then this is your place. Not a "hotel" by any means. It's more of a hostel with ensuite bathrooms
At the price we paid for a 3 bed room no complains. But only suitable for a overnight stay. A squeaking bunk bed in a hotel room was new to me.
I liked nothing about this hotel Room was not clean, bed lumpy, electrical sockets not working or hanging off the walls, lock on door did not work so I did not feel safe at night. Only one small, cheap bar of soap, tea tray was disgusting, mug leaked. Horrible, horrible, horrible. And far too expensive - rip off.
the location was great, easy to find and get around London! Friendly and helpfull staff loud floor, no elevator, broken basin in the bathrooom
