Great location for museums and shopping. Comfortable but small room.
the vacum cleanin of the carpet was very bad
The basement room and the reception the broken shower that was only partly repaired
The communication of the hotel staff was excellent, they were all very proffessional. My compliments to all of them.
Very hospitable staff. Room very cosy. Breakfast room very clean and breakfast very good value. None
hotel was quaint...nicely decorated, good location, staff helpful and friendly, location (when staying in room on the front of the hotel) was very noisy, room was very hot....temperature not adjustable..
The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly and efficient. It is located in an excellent position, especially if you are visiting London to see the sights. No.
It was pretty close to most tourist attractions. Staff at times can be uncoperative.
Decor and ambience - a very Victorian feel. There was nothing we deidn't like.
The location is perfect being steps from the South Kensington tube station and close to museums, shops, food, etc but not right next to the major tourist stops so you don't feel you are surrounded only by tourists. Plus, free drinks in the mini fridge The rooms were on the small side but what would be expected in London.
I like location and the interior design very much. And the staff is great. Bit limited on spaces (room and public place)
Location and layout. Hotel is located right beside tube station and within a lot of great amenities and attractions.
Everything was state of the art. Staff were very helpful. Location is great with the underground close by and a bus stop out front. Prime location in an outstanding area of London
Everything...gorgeous facility, interesting decorations, lovely staff, fabulous location...just shy of perfection!Q Rooms are not huge, but still loved loved loved the hotel
very nice hotel in a great area. the reception staff is fantastic a bit less the service employees. all in all good place
Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and accomodated an early check in.Especially like to mention Andrea Doyle who showed a great deal of empathy and was agreat ambassador for the hotel. Room was small, you could hardly get past the bed, staircase still not finished which detracted from otherwise luxurious feel to the hotel. Not sure you could desribe it as a superior double !
very nice design hotel, comfy lobby & rooms showergel / shampoo weren't filled up after user
V nice hotel, attentive staff. Room too small, had to ask several times to have safe fixed, extra blanket provided and light bulb replaced. Reception desk not v well- manned (often empty).
loacation close to wimbledon room was supposed to be superior but tiny
Everything. Our stay was great, as was the room. Would definitely stay there again.
The spaciousness of the lobby. Not stuffy! The problem was they had no booking from us,checked everything! They solved it and gave us a room for the price agreed.
The location for sightseeing, the facilities and the staff of the hotel were excellent. The costs to stay were also very reasonable. I reccomend this hotel to stay.
clean room, facilities good, breakfast v.good if little expensive .service quick efficient good location room small bit cramped
I first stay at the Pelham in 1993. Based on this stay it is as good or better than ever. A civilized haven in the best corner of London.
Due to airline delays, our exhausted family of three arrived at the Pelham after midnight and was met with a warm welcome and beautifully appointed room (with a comfortable extra bed set up as requested for our son). Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The Pelham could not have been lovelier, and the location is a perfect home base for exploring London.
The very good location of the hotel and helpful staff, also good heating. The toilet in the bathroom didn't work too well and no extractor for the steam in bathroom.
The location of the hotel - central, being within walking distance of Knightsbridge tube station, yet quiet enough to get an undisturbed nights sleep! Vey clean hotel, providing a very good breakfast.
Well designed room; very complete; lots of nice touches. Heated towel rack; jacuzzie tub; upscale furnishings; even has a couple of 110/115 outlets. Location cannot be beat; just down from Harrods and up from South Kensington Underground station two stops away from Victoria Station and 4 stops away from Westminster Station. The BigBus "hop on hop off" number 36 is just out front and the narrated tour the bus provides last right at 3.5 hours with city traffic and goes to every single place of interest. Tour bus pricing varies based on package deal but around $30 per person. The staff of the hotel always exceeds expectation; Neal, the head concierge; is full of insights for the area; found us a large private van to Heathrow for $65. We had 4 big bags from a twoo week Cruise, so the large Mercedes was excellent. The hotel and its ammenities are moderately pricied if not leaning a little toward expensive, as in breakfast; but in tota,l worth the money especially if on vacation. A superior experience; will stay here again when visiting London for sure.
its central position to Kingsbridge and shopping Water in bath and shower not hot enough at any time
The Rembrandt is in a great location not far from the many sights of London. We had a wonderful room with a balcony and a spa bath! It was excelent.
room was quite spacious and location quite central food was not very good byt fair for England
Our room was on the small side.
Very friendly, helpful staff, comfortable room, well positioned for C London.
This was a very charming hotel. The location was wonderful - only a few blocks from an Underground station and Hyde Park. The staff was great - very helpful and friendly. The concierge helped with getting tickets to museums and other attractions as well as trains, which saved a great deal of time not waiting in long lines. We took advantage of the breakfast service. The food was good with lots of options. The waitstaff was very attentive. We did not have to wait long for assistance. The maid staff was fine as well and also very friendly. On several occasions, we had to call the front desk to request additional towels and they arrived within minutes. The Rembrandt is an older hotel with some of the issues associated with that. For example, the "switch" that controlled power to the room would "break" if the bathroom door was closed to hard in our room or a neighboring room. This could be easily fixed by tapping on the control panel. The room had a small table and desk, so there was no room for a wardrobe. It was a little difficult living out of a suitcase for two weeks. It would have been smarter to remove the desk and substitute some drawers for clothing.
Pool Paper thin walls, constant slamming of doors in the hallway!
The Hotel staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and very very helpful. They always remember me from my previous stay. The disabled facilties are not upto dda standards. The ramp to the reception is unsafe, too steep and not legal!! You must get the electric wheelchair lift repaired and make sure that it can operated by the wheelchair user from the pavement. either that place a bell outside so that the attention of the reception staff can be alerted. I would recommend this hotel to able bodied persons, but not to wheelchair users.
Service was outstanding. They provided extra towels and outlet adapter when asked. Rooms are spacious and clean. Great place to use for our home base for our anniversary getaway to London. Centrally located downtown. Close to the tube. Full English breakfast was included in our reservation but I was informed that not every reservation qualified for the "full" breakfast and instead they received a continental breakfast. Limited menu in hotel restaurant.
Excellent personal service, great food - quite simply a great hotel. You would be very hard pushed to find anything even slightly wrong with this hotel !
well I loved the place and the staff specially, they even went with me to show the room and they kept asking of I need anything to insure my comfort. it was great! the rooms are a bit small, and i see it a bit expensive but this is London after all.
The hotel is very confortable, the staff is friendly; the breakfast is exellent; the rooms are beautiful no
Great location -a short walk to Harrods,V&A, and super little patisseries, restaurants and shops. Room had spacious bathroom with the lovely Penhaligon products.
I liked the small size (no convention) and the personal attention. The rooms are really small although I recognize that this comment could be made about many London hotels.
I liked the decor and the products in the room and how clean and nicely refurbished the hotel is. I thought the rooms are a bit small for the price
Egerton House is the best hotel I have stayed in over a 25 year period of visiting London. The staf couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful and my room (a standard double, I believe) was lovely and comfortable.
the comfort, service and the little gadgets that felt like your in your own house. Too many furniture in the bedroom that made the room small
Service and standard/condition of room . Service on arrival was less than disappointing. Room not ready ( arrived post 3.00pm) room very tired - bulbs out headboard stained general housekeeping unsatisfactory, reception staff not 5start trained.
personalized service. Very friendly and courteous staff. The rooms are very dark due to colors, design and lighting. Bathrooms are very poor in safety. The barthtub is very slippery when taking a shower and the shower heads are very have very low perssure and flow. Bathroom tiles color, black, is not the best choice and makes the look of bathrooms very depressing.
Iwas un happy all the stay my room was very bad Very old very expensive
Very good service, very intent concierges and porters. I didn't like your breakfast serviece. Early moning when I lived your hotel, there was not cold water in the tap, which is unacceptably for five-star hotel.
everyhing outstanding... I strongly suggest this hotel
The decoration is great and the personel very pleasant and helpfull. We had the luck to be upgraded in a junior suite and had the surprise of a very nice cake for my husband's birthday. Location on the park and near to the best areas.
Stylish decor. Excellent food; attentive service Service ar beakfast was charming but amateurish
Great location, very helpful staff and superb service Help from teh staff was excellent
Location of the hotel, unobtrusive room service Couldn't find a shoe-shine set, failed to take cold shower.
Stuff cooperation Food
location bathroom needed some updating lampshade was broken
It is a good honest hotel with a great location
Location very convenient for underground, airport and services
co-operation of staff increasement of room rate within the same week
Well situated near restaurants, shops & tube stations.
Very conveniently located with nice facilities. In this day and age, no hotel guest should have to pay for internet access.
Very helpful staff. For that rate, the rooms we were given were very small and did not have a proper heating system. The room was very cold.
The location - it's literally across the metro station of Gloucester Road The bathroom acessories were poor for a 4 star, the furnishings need to be refreshed as they are a bit sad.
I will not book a room in this hotel again because, having paid 200 pounds per night: - It took me half an hour to have a mediocre shower since the fresh water hardly run through the pipes (despite the washroom being recently refurbished). - The room was very noisy (street cars and doors slapping all night). - The complimentary breakfast (I paid for) was ridiculous. No salty/warm food, only some fresh fruit (which was good) and industrial pastries (along with the standard drinks, of course). R. Arranz (14/11/14)
location was good and room/staff were good room was a bit small but only what one has to expect with a central london hotel in this style
Everything was great, from the room, the location and the staff. I have never experience a more friendly or helpful staff. They were definitely there to make sure we were happy and comfortable, and they did a wonderful job! Nothing
breackfast and it's service is excelleny bell captain arranged taxi, seems to be an unlicenced taxi. they don't have a meter and want to hard sell
breakfast! also peace & quiet and proximity to Tube and other amenities sulphurous smell from bathroom, not from my use of the facilities but even coming into the room after a day out
Bimal was incredibly helpful. The rooms were VERY small. We switched from a postage stamp sized room to one with another 10 square feet. The cleaning staff talked loudly on their cell phones as they went from room to room.
Location Lift works badly
Very clean. Friendly staff, quiet room. Single room was small, and did not have a dresser, only a closet. The bed was kind of hard.
Incredibly small room. Also smely.
The Radisson Edwardian Vanderbilt breakfast was very very good indeed. Great choice, perfectly cooked and great service No Cold Water in the rooms.
Staff were friendly and attentive, bar food was excellent quality and value for money, room was high standard Very warm
Location ! Street noise
convenient location intial room I was allocated was tiny, but they were happy to move me when I complained
Nice decoration. My first pretty hotel in London. Space, good bed, products in bathroom. Breakfast is nice (you can ask for an omelett) and there is a machine to prepare a hot chocolate without extra fee. Noise in the room. Hotels here don't know the double-glasing system. Too Bad. It's a 3* for me.
Location, Large and confortable bed and good room Noise isolation not that good but ok
Exceptionally clean Staff with English as their first language is always a good start in a customer facing role, however the staff were efficient and courteous.
Great hotel in a great location. Breakfast too expensive.
Easy access to Royal Albert Hall No drawers or shelves in room for putting clothes
A good, well located hotel with easy access to the surrounding area. Would stay again, if in the area. Felt it was slightly overpriced.
For us it was the perfect location, the comfort of the beds a bonus and the price of the hotel was excellent for Kensington.
Everything very new, felt very clean and fresh, pleasant room, polite and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to tube station and nearby restaurants Shower slightly small, not a problem for myself and daughter but possibly a bit on the tight side for persons of larger build.
