Extremely friendly staff upgraded us to a king bed, left champagne in our room for our husband's birthday
They didn't honor the booking for three so we walked out.
Clean Elegance and very rustic gets the true eccentricity for New York The AC didn't really work need an update or worked on to get room at right temperature
Location is great! room wifi signal too weak to get connected. Call operator 3 times and went to lobby twice. Reboot phone, other tricks. Not working. Staff show no patient. Told me to try another day... Room is not clean at all. Did not want to stay here in the future. Be aware! The hotel is going to charge you addition 20 dollar for wifi and facility. It is mandatory, although their wifi may not work!
Location was near Broadway shows, subway, and lotsa shops/restaurants. Staff was friendly n helpful. I received a parking ticket in front of hotel while I was checking in !
The staff was friendly and accommodating . The check out time was clearly stated for 12 pm . We went down to have breakfast in their hotel at the Tick Tock . Came back to our room to get our luggage at 11:45am , and to our surprise , our room keys no longer worked. We had a train to catch , so this was a huge inconvenience . When we finally got into our room , my husband went to dump our cooler down the bathtub and there was a huge roach in the tub . The cockroach was the size of a deck of cards . If we didn't have a train to catch , we would've went right down and complained . I called the hotel numerous times to tell them about this roach problem we encountered , left messages for the manager , but never received a return call . Very disappointed and will NEVER stay there again , or recommend to anyone .
The decor and availability of room service as well as the location The hotel is very small and cramped. The floor we stayed on had a horrible fried food odor that was overwhelming every day of our stay. I did not feel that the overall quality was representative of a 5-star hotel.
The hotel has a lot of things going for it, judging by our recent visit. The property is very clean, the location close to Times Square and Hell's Kitchen is convenient, and there is a subway stop on the same block. The room was very spacious and comfortable. All in all, it was a great stay. The only thing to point out is if you're a light sleeper, earplugs may be needed. We were on the ninth floor but could still hear cars blowing their horns and there is a police station next door, so sirens can frequently be heard.
Good location Tiny room, too small for 4 people, could not open luggage. No coffee or water in lobby. Unfriendly front desk staff. Promised to move us on second night but never followed through.
The best thing about the Redbury hands down is the customer service! My family and I stayed a week and everyone we encountered was amazing! From the front desk to housekeeping, our service at Marta and especially Laurel at Cafe Marchio, the staff is absolutely outstanding! Location is great being very close to the subway (and my daughters school). I will definitely be back! I know it's New York but the bathroom could really use a shelf or two for storage.
The hotel was clearly recently redecorated to be hip and modern. I did not realize my single room would consist of a twin bed in a 6 by 10 room. It was half the room pictured. There was no closet, just some small drawers tucked behind the bed. They do an admiralable job with space efficiency but you should know going in how small the space is.
Nice staff, comfortable mattress and linens, great shower, funky style and great location - walk to everything and close to subway Ultra small bathroom sink and counter, A/C didn't cool the room below 72 even with the thermostat turned down to 60. Bed also on a platform, and corner of the base jutted out far enough that I whacked my shins on it to the point of heavy bruises - totally my fault but just beware!!
Just entrance Very small space of room, very expensive if you think about cost vs. benefits. Even breakfast of us$ 24,50 and us$ 6,53 for a bottle of water???? The most expensive experience that I had when I am trevelling all around the world during last 20 years!!!!!!!
The hotel was conveniently located next to the subway for ease of travel. It was walking distance to Times Square. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms were recently remodeled. They need sound proofing between walls. We could hear conversations in the next room and they weren't even yelling.
Location, rooms are comfy , free internet My mother's shoes were stolen, Along with my nephew's (2 and 1/2 yo) pillow and toys. The shoes were inside a suitcase the entire time which makes the case even worse. We complained at the front desk, but the staff were unapologetic and did nothing to solve the issue.
