Location, Design hotel Food is always getting less and less ( before there was steak, there was asian boxes ... ).
A very modern hotel in a fantastic central location. The room was small but spotlessly clean and very comfortable. No coffee/tea making facilities in the room. Refused entry to the Light Bar because we hadn't booked - since when did you have to book to have a drink in a bar? This also meant we couldn't actually use the vouchers for the complimentary cocktails!
The staff were A1 and very helpful and the manager Jose was very proffesional Maybe a little too dark in the lift and l could not see the buttons to push
the restaurant concept, staff and service. breakfast - not clear information about the prices and poor value for money regarding breakfast. the films in the elevator - freeky.

A different experience. The staff greeted me by my first name which I like a lot. Interior design is cool, I loved candles in the bathroom. Couldn't log on to the Internet with my iPad although I was charged the Internet service - which was advertised as free upon booking :-(
Great location. Nice hotel. Concierge always has solid recommendations. Good service. Love the room. Everything is modern with a lot of little touches. USB phone charger at the bed, Bluetooth for your music. I've been here 3 or 4 times and will go back! Currently remodeling. Shower leaked ....

This hotel is in the best location for theater, restaurants, shopping and art. We were two couples and had the best time. Everything was perfect

we had a great visit. The staff was impeccably polite and helpful. the elevator situation was pretty bad. I don't know if some of the lifts weren't functioning or what, but we ended up taking the stairs most of the time

The hotel is in a good spot, next to oxford street. breakfast was an extra £9.95 each per day.
Location and cleanliness are the only positives about my stay. Poorly operating lifts. Bathroom so small. TV inoperable. WiFi requires £5 payment daily by purchasing a code from a vending machine. Long lines at check in. Long line at luggage check/collection. Never again!
A nice complimentary breakfast the following day. We booked a table for 4 in the hotel's Italian restaurant for Saturday 27/11/10 at 5pm in order for us to attend a show. When we were ready to eat we were told that we didn't have a reservation as this restaurant did not open on a Saturday night. We were however placed in your Japanese restaurant without too much bother. Better communication with guests would be better.

Food location staff , all works well , I would love to go back but when all the work is done so it'll be that bit more comfortable for me The hotel lifts were very slow and 2 was not working at all , also there was work being done for the new reception area ! As I have sciatica very bad , It was very difficult using the stairs and temporary steps the hotel put in place !
Spent about a week in London and stayed at the St. Giles. No regrets. Close to the West End action and much cheaper than some in the area. This hotel is also frequented by bus tours - Ugh. The room was good though small (almost Japanese hotel room small). We did not partake of their restaurants and went to a much, much better buffet down the street for breakfast. Concierge staff was very helpful
Room was very quiet, despite overlooking Leicester Square. Fabulous location - very central Bed was too small - needed to be longer & wider!
The room and facilties were large for a London hotel at that room rate. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the robes that were provided The construction noise was very disruptive and precluded us from getting a good nights rest. The room was poorly designed with large furniture and made it difficult to move around the room comfortably.
The courtesy of the staff was very good and one was made to feel nothing was a bother. The room was very comfortable. There was a fair amount of outside street noise in the room which took a night to get used to.
The service and kind staff. 1. We booked a junior suite with "great view over London" and added to our booking request that this view was of the essence. The junior suite did not have such a view and the staff told us that no junior suite has such a view. Other rooms do. We feel mislead because an important part of the reason why we booked an expensive hotel/room was the view. 2. The hotel did not answer any of our 3 e-mails over a period of 2 months. 3. We called the hotel in order to double check our reservation. The reservation was not found and the hotel would call us back. They did not so we had to call them back.
The staff was wonderful. The room was small and was located on the 1st floor - bad view.
Location was excellent Rooms were not up to usual Radisson standards, Rooms were very small, bed was too short for tall people.

We Loved Everything about the Radisson! You can not go wrong, the rooms are gigantic and with real king beds you get the most comfortable night sleep while in London out of anywhere! From the minute you walk in the door, the customer service is absolutely impeccable, they actually care about you, learn about you, remember you and it is so nice to feel that, especially after 12 hours of travelling across 8 time zones to get there. For those that wish to make the most of going out in London during the evening, the hotel is the ideal location.Staff were very welcoming, at time a little too much.
The location was great and the first time I stayed the hotel was cleaner. The room is really basic but bed was comfortable. I would never stay here with a second person. The room is good for 1. The have a small check in desk in the middle of the cafe which was crowded when I arrived. I have had to wait for longer than 10 minutes to check in and check out. They seem a little disorganized at the front and could use a proper reception area.
The location was excellent. The design and materials of the room are modern and quality. It was very clean and there was a clear focus on quality. The towels were as soft and huge as any hotel I've been in. the TV was huge relative to the size of the room. The bathroom fixtures were all very nice and the toiletries were also nice. If you are willing to trade a lot of space for a lower price (well, lower price for London) then this can be a value. It's also good if you plan not to spend much time in the hotel as it's comfortable for sleeping. The reason the rooms are affordable is because the rooms are tiny. Seriously tiny...as in your bed spans the whole distance of a wall. There is no closet at all, and unless you get one of the larger rooms you'll have to put your luggage on the floor as there are no luggage racks. That's a bitt of a challenge because the "floor" is really the walkway from the bed area to the bathroom so you'll be walking around your own luggage. If you are a business traveler and need desk space it's very limited or absent. I had one room with a very small desk and another where I had to use the nightstand as a desk. The rooms are relatively dark even if the windows are open because they open to a narrow light well/courtyard. Perhaps there is more light on higher floor levels.
Beds were very comfortable The 48" flat screen TV was a nice touch The design was nice Definitely a place to stay for short business travel or vacation, given the good location in Piccadilly. The complimentary wine n cheese every evening was nice and my group enjoyed it Located close to many many tourists spots, most with in walking distance or short bus ride. Staff was excellent and very attentive There is only one small lift and often crowded, therefore had to wait for it to come back down empty or you just took the stairs, a minor complaint, but would better if they had two lifts.
This is a no-frills property that trades off services for location. Smallest room I have ever stayed in over 30 years, 100+ properties and 5000 nights. The double room was 10x10 (feet) with no phone or closet. No laundry or room service Wake up service is a knock on the door. NOT FOR BUSINESS USE
Great location. Wine and cheese hour was a nice bonus TINY room. Barely enough room to move about. Shower head kept moving, it was like showering with a moving sprinkler. Water got into the room as a result because it was so small. The photos are misleading!!
The staff was great, especially Henri & Theo. The staff always went above and beyond to assist us! Location also was amazing; right next to Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Sq, Leicester Sq, close to Parliament Sq, and Buckingham Palace.. Very centrally located The rooms were very small, but it worked out really well for us since we were there only for 3 days. Didn't bother us at all.

Perfect location for New Year, everything in walking distance, close to Trafalgar Square, easy access to Embankment for fireworks and New Year day parade passed front door...not to mention the hotel festivities, plenty going on in a stylish, refined way. We were only there 24 hours but thanks to location, facilities, easy relaxed feel of the hotel it was the ideal intensive enjoyment hoped for.
Quality modern room with a great rain shower. The beds were luxurious. Light switch was confusing. Need separate switch for the bathroom.

There are many things that i loved. Amongst it all the location is outstanding. The staff is a ++ The beds are so comfortable Its is just a bliss from a to z It is a bit expensive and my room was more of a regular room than a superior room
Its position It is not true that airconditioning system is controlled from the room. Actutally the system is not strong enough when there is a very warm climate in uk.
Great location to National Gallery, Piccadilly Square, Trafalgar Square, Buckingham Palace and gardens. Contemporary style, very comfy bed, staff polite and helpful. Free "slow" internet in the room-it was fast enough! Rain shower head. The shower was a bit small so the splashing water would sometimes puddle on the floor. No other complaints!
We had a lovely week-end stay at the Sofitel London st James.The location is great, staff all very friendly .We had a really nice room and the bed was so comfortable.
Modern elegance this hotel is one of the finest I have stayed in. Contemporary design Incorporated into the old world charm and classic design of the building, The location is superb I really can't get any more central than this. The stuff are wonderful, right down to the doorman, I've stayed there four times in the past six months, and i must say, it's so nice when the doorman greats you and welcomes you back to the hotel.
The location in Leicester Square was very nice, and the hotel seemed to be a popular place to visit. I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it". Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night. Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.

Everything about this Hotel is exceptional. The service and quality is always beyond any reproach. The location is also perfect. The price is high but you get much more than you pay for.
The hotel is located close to restaurants, shops and is a short walking distance from excellent theatres.The hotel staff and facilities lived up to a five star experience you expect from the Langham reputation.

Of course as always staff courtesy and the overall service is the main reason for us to stay at this hotel, despite the unpleasant experiences we had this "time only" with some of the reception staff upon our arrival which I will mention in the other Box. We are a regular customers and we know the level of services of this hotel however, we were totally shocked by the low service offered by your Supervisor at reception area Mr Sabestaian which was way below expectation.If he continues there he will certainly cause more damages to hotel reputation, Hotel mgt should consider giving him more lessons on customer service. Ms Suzana was of the same Category!. The rest of staff at the reception and other places were absoloutely all stars.
The location and the high standard
Fantastic Hotel Experience! The room, lighting and British-ish decor of the room was just what we were looking for. Everyone in the hotel was friendly, the room luxurious and yet affordable compared to other 5 star hotels nearby (our stay was half the price of other 5 star hotels closer to Buckingham palace and with a kind bed). Centrally located, the Langham was only a 10 minute walk from public transportation and minutes away from a Starbucks. If traveling with an infant, you have access to a refrigerator and can request a crib. LOVED the club room w/ complementary breakfast (6:30-11am) and tea time (2-4pm) was a great treat! Access to two restaurants, a bar and cub room provided many food options. Morning and evening room service was very luxurious. Definitely coming back and recommending. Front entrance does not have a ramp BUT there is a side elevator (important if you have a stroller). The bed we had seemed old as there was a BIG dent from where most guests must've slept (to be fair, most hotels are this way). I know this hotel had a pool, but for some reason I didn't see a sign for it, or perhaps we never noticed it.

The Langham is an old fashioned 5 Star Hotel. In other words it deserves every one of the stars. Maybe it costs a bit more, but nothing is too much trouble and the staff are that great blend of friendliness and efficiency with not a hint of snobbery, which of course is a true sign of class. A great location and a real feel of opulence.
General location was very good.Cleanliness was good No bar to have a drink with children over 18 had to be 21.Bar staff rude and ignorant.However, Bar manager was very considerate.Very trendy which was nice but thats where it ends i'm afraid. Would not book again.

The corridor lighting. And, above all, the location. The lack of Internet access (the business centre was occasionally out of action). The limitations of the room service menu for vegetarians. The limited number of T.V. entertainment channels - without in-house films The lack of a bath. No fresh air. The painting on the ceiling of my room.

Wonderful design interiors. The food in the Malaysian restaurant was amazing and the cocktails at The Long Bar were innovative and delicious - if very pricey at £11 a shot Some of the towels in the room were not 100% clean

The lobby, spa and bar are brilliantly designed. Most parts of the hotel are chic and the overall atmosphere is very charming. The rooms are impractically designed. No provision made to accomodate suitcases even. Too much insistence on style and little attention to comfort. Great to hang out at all parts of the hotel except your room where everything seems like a mess since there are no practical provisions made. Very little storage so all the stuff just lies around the floor; also not very child friendly.

Our stay at The Sanderson was perfect from start to finish. I called ahead to let them know that we were coming to stay for my boyfriend's birthday. From upgrading us to a huge, gorgeous room to delivering balloons, flowers, candles, and birthday treats, they truly went above and beyond to make it an amazing weekend. We can't wait for our next visit!

the hotel was a little bit special and everything was very well done. the location for oxford street, and picadilly was excellent and within walking distance for convent garden. could have done with teaa making facilities in the room having said that we ordered tea for two via room service which was much nicer than a tea bag in a cup! but expensive.
although i had to move rooms twice because of a tv/internet that didn't work, the staff was very open to helping me get a comfortable room.

Location is exellent. The room was extremely small and outdated. I stayed in the hotel many times before and always made the bookings directly with the hotel, the rooms I received were much better. I left the hotel under the impression that I've received a bad room because of my booking through booking.com. Perhaps the rate was good but "there is no free lunch".

This little jewel of a hotel is Soho chic. I can't say enough good things about it! It is perfectly located, priced under similar hotels, small enough to be personal but large enough to have a really exceptional restaurant and rooftop bar that appeared to have a London insider following. I say it is the best kept secret in London & would recommend it to anyone! Absolutely nothing!
