Pros: My daughter and I were greeted like we were royalty. Everybody is friendly, efficient and professional. The Ritz is gorgeous and always clean.
The servers are very proper and the food was fabulous.
I would highly recommend The Ritz, because you will certainly not be disappointed.
Pros: Location and service was good
Cons: Problem with the room it was very small, offered improved room after two days
Cons: Being in a smoking floor

Cons: Entrance, elevator, hallways -- all gave the impression of being in a factory versus a hotel

Pros: Bathtub was awesome. They had outlets for US plugs too.
Pros: Breakfasts were fantastic and location was excellent!
Pros: Great location.
Cons: The lighting system requires a sense of humor. It is very easy to mistakingly turn out the lights on someone in a different room. You may want to bring a flashlight
Pros: We booked this friend to stay overnight as our friends were having their wedding at The Ballroom in Park Plaza. Thank god the wedding was good, because that was the only good thing about this hotel!!
Cons: As we were part of the bridal group we contacted the hotel months, weeks and even the day before check in to request an early check in, that never happened!! As an apology because our hair and make up artist was standing in reception, we were only upgraded for 2 of the 4 rooms. During and after the wedding, we got stuck in the lift (which was already broken but not decommissioned) no apology from the evening staff and no acknowledgement of their errors, rather I am told "I am done talking to you". After our party having spent tens and thousands of pounds, this is the treatment we received. No compensation and no complimentary offers to any of us.
Pros: Situation plus we were at an Indian wedding in the hotel
Pros: Location was great, and they upgraded us up when we got there. Room was very spacious & clean. In addition, they had gluten free breakfast options.
Cons: Walls were not flush in one place in our rooms, which made it too easy to hear our neighbors in the early hours... (meaning there was a space between the walls.)
Pros: The location was superb. Rooms were comfortable. pricing was very fair
Cons: bar was a bit loud at night due to music. prices are, well, London i.e. a bit high.
Cons: That the coffee maker in our room didn't work.
Pros: The hotel was exactly as I thought it would be based on all the excellent reviews written online. It is located close to all the tourist attractions and the subway is nearby to take you to wherever your heart desires. There is good food and entertainment at the hotel if you want to stay in. So go ahead...book this hotel...you won't be disappointed!
Pros: The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center of London, walking distance to the London Eye, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben of Parliament building.
Cons: We really loved the breakfast.
This fantastic new hotel is located on the South Bank, near London Eye. Waterloo and Westminster stations are within 5 minutes walk, making easier to travel and ideal choice for city break or business trip.
Ashburn Hotel has been beautifully converted from a fine 19th century London town house and offers luxurious bedrooms, with all the facilities you would expect from a prestigious new 4-star hotel. There is a delightful drawing room, serving light meals all day and drinks from the bar 24 hours a day for resident guests; there is also a peaceful, airy breakfast room, as well as complimentary wireless internet access and air-conditioning throughout.
Pros: The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the location is impossible to beat.
The service was impeccable. Each time I needed assitance from the front desk, I was given all that I needed and more. The concierge team -- Mercy, Jessica and Ahmed - were amazing. They simply went out of their way to make everyting go as smoothly as possible.
The breakfast is very good. And the public hang-out spaces are beautifully designed.
Cons: The only possible downside of this terrific hotel is the size of the single, small room, which is very small. But it's well designed, and has a great energy.
I find this deal hard to beat. Would stay there again in a heartbeat, and would return with my family as well.
Adria Boutique Hotel offers an airport shuttle and a great location, putting you within a 15-minute walk of Natural History Museum and Imperial College London. Rooms at this luxurious hotel offer up nice touches like free minibar items, iPod docks, and Tempur-Pedic beds with Egyptian cotton sheets.
Pros: The location and views provided by The Tower are perfect for touring London!
Cons: crazy hot place , slow elevators , old and stinky place , did not we say hell ?
Pros: the view of the tower
extremely nice service (besides check in)
proximity to a supermarket, tube
Cons: the room is outdated and clearly needs painting job
the hotel lobby smells!
the room is very small
Pros: I would never recommend or go back to this hotel. Horrible value should have stayed at the Four Seasons for an extra 50.00 a night
Cons: This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a very long time. The hotel was very poorly represented about who they are as a brand, quality of hotel, and by far not valued at 4 or 5 stars as they claim to be. Our first room was a deluxe with tower view. The carpet had tears in it, we had a leaky faucet, and later that evening we discovered the air conditioning didn't work. After many discussions with the front desk their solution was to move us to a twin bed room and put a fan in the room to cool it down. While moving our bags at 11;30 PM the bellman told us this happens quite often and they don't have maintenance on staff anymore. Having worked in hospitality and hotels all my career this is a clear sign to me that the hotel doesn't value their service levels. When having a hotel of over 700 rooms without maintenance on staff you're going to consistently have unhappy customers with service failures. I urge them to put this job back on payroll as it will help your service records considerably. After 3 phone calls the manager on duty Marga was helpful and compd breakfast and upgraded us to a suite the next night. These are all nice but it seemed like we were having to explain to them they needed to do something rather than them being apologetic about the horrible situation of our room and the huge inconvencice.
Pros: Being upgraded
Cons: The air conditioning not working and the room needing some updating
Location, capacity and connections; these are just some of the reasons our guests tell us why they love choosing The Tower Hotel for their stay in London. The Tower Hotel is nestled between the River Thames, St Katharine Docks and alongside World Heritage Site - The Tower of London, and boasts unparalleled views of iconic Tower Bridge. Our location and choice of transport connections put you at the centre of this vibrant city, making it quick, convenient and most importantly, easy to experience the very best of what London has to offer, sooner. You'll find us within easy reach of the London's financial district, Excel Exhibition Centre, London City Airport, historic Greenwich and The O2 Arena, the West End theatre district and Westfield Shopping Centre making it the most sought after location in London.
Pros: Great location and helpful staff. The staff helped answer all our questions including how to get to heathrow when we were leaving and all the roads were closed do to a marathon downtown.
Cons: I really can't think of anything we didn't like with this trip. The staff was very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. The location was close to everything we needed.
Pros: Beautiful hotel centrally located in the heart of London's biggest attractions. Loved the ability to walk everywhere without ever needing a taxi. Wonderful stay and would recommend to close friends and family.
Pros: Convenient & central location , very comfortable
Cons: Customer service needs to improve
Pros: Location is fabulous for tourists and the room seemed pretty clean. I did my own wipe-down with wipes and there wasn't much left behind.
Cons: Maid didn't replace my washcloth even though I purposely left it on the floor to indicate that I wanted a new one. Room was small and the view from the window was nothing but a wall.
Pros: Staff was friendly, professional, and responsive. Clean, quiet, and modern rooms with big screen TV. Beds are comfortable and relatively new. We were able to check in early for a reasonable fee.
Cons: Bathroom had no ventilation and you have to prop open the door to clear the moisture after a shower.
Pros: This hotel is "THE" place to stay. Location-Staff-Amenities-Location!!! Excellent location to walk around London en"Joy"ing the sites. Looking at the map you will immediately realize this is a premium place to anchor your rest area. A mere 100 yards from the Charing Cross tube station, this hotel offers a more quiet locale compared to the Piccadilly area (only 1 stop away on the tube).
Before I was able to ask for an early check-in the front desk professional politely stated, "If you and your family would like, you may check-in now (at noon--3 hours early!!!). After flying on a 7 hour red-eye inbound these words golden to our bodies. This unexpected blessing let us rejuvenate with a 30 minute nap before we laced up our walking shoes. Without a doubt, this proved to be 'the most invaluable" act of kindness from the staff. According to our Fitbit we then walked over 20,000 steps and 10+ miles taking nearly 500 pictures and fondly did so with smiles--no way we could have done this without that early check-in and needed pre-rest I visited for a quick 24 hours trip (with 2 teenage kids) to gain intel for when rest of family comes so we'll be squared away. Fantastic experience! Please do yourself a favor and simply stay at the CQ Trafalgar Square. Now go to the next item on your travel checklist--the place to stay is solved.
Lastly, remember that when writing and reading reviews, we cannot and should not evaluate others in their actions by using "our intentions" as the litmus test to criticize their performance. Translation: If I can only make porridge or PB&J's, I have no authority to critique one who "is" a chef but has different taste buds than my own.
Enjoy your trip to this great city wherever you decide to stay and remember the reality of your trip--you are there for the city not the hotel. If anything is less than you believed prior to arrival, simply have a nicer dinner when you're out and bring the staff back a little sweet treat. Your act of kindness will be passed onto a future guest at the hotel.
Be Well and Safe Travels :))
PS. Review written by a man with 34 years of worldwide travelling experience...and 11 more to go until retirement. Enjoy the people first, and human made structures second. Blessings.
Cons: This box should be empty. CQ Trafalgar Square performed outstandingly and the owners of this hotel should be commended for their ability to not only acquire a premier property for travelers visiting the great city of London and but more so for accomplishing the most difficult task in any business--employing caring humans to transfer customer service models and ideals into memorable experiences for the traveler. Well done CQ Trafalgar Square...well done.
Located in the heart of London, this hotel is within walking distance of Benjamin Franklin House, Trafalgar Square, and Nelson's Column. Also nearby are Big Ben and St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
Pros: Staff was fun, friendly, and helpful. 2pm checkout was nice, except the fact that I spent the morning listening to construction noise (see complaints).
Cons: They had construction going on, and they put me in a room right next to it. Literally, there were construction workers working across the hall from me, and all the way down the hall. They should have closed that room, if not that whole floor, instead of being cheap and putting people next to construction zones.
A low budget hotel. No iron or ironing board. No closet.

Pros: Nice facility with updated rooms and powerful air conditioning. The staff was friendly and very accommodating of special requests. Good transit access.
Cons: The location, while convenient, is not very pleasant. The surrounding area has decent amenities but is full of panhandlers and grime.
Pros: Clean, large room and very friendly attentive staff.
Cons: Nothing wrong at all. Everything was excellent.
Pros: Attitude of the personal was awesome always with a smile and willingness of helping you to get around and recommending the best of London Thanks a lot
Cons: Fire drills on the middle of the night, that's too early for training
Pros: wonderful staff
Cons: A little further from tube than I expected
Cons: Not too much in the area. 10 minute walk to the tube.
Pros: It was clean and modern.
Pros: It was clean
Cons: Not near any metros. They put us 2 doors down from a wedding party that was very loud and kids couldn't go to sleep
Pros: The rooms are big for London standards and also have aircon which for London can be sparse and in the summer is greatly needed. The room was clean as well.
Cons: The location. This hotel shows up that it is in Shoreditch/Islington. It's really not. The area is a bit dodgy at night as well. I.E. Wouldnt walk around as a female alone after 9pm. It is also not THAT close to tub- 8 minute walk away.
Pros: excellent room
Cons: location average + a bit far from the tube station (but close to a bus station leading to the tube station)
Not much convenient for new comer, need to walk a lot.
Pros: Staff and cleaning.
Cons: Not convenient place. Bit far from bus station n metro station.
Pros: Once inside hotel, it is very nice. They offered free WiFi in the rooms.
Cons: Neighborhood is a bit sketchy.

Pros: When we first checked in, the staff member we dealt with was very pleasant and helpful. When I complained about the Internet, the staff member who came to the room was also very pleasant and helpful.Room was spacious and had a nice tea tray.
Cons: Location of room in basement. Spotty Internet. Shower did not work. No dryer. Phone did not work when we arrived. When complained about room, one staff person disputed certain facts.
Pros: The bedroom was lovely
Cons: The extractor in the bathroom was on continually, even with the light off.
Pros: Room was great, location was great and the price was very good
Cons: Maintenance issues with the room, there was a leak from the floor above through the ceiling of the bathroom. It occurred just before check-out so no harm done.
Located in London City Centre, this hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Russell Square and The British Museum. St George’s, Bloomsbury and University of London are also within 10 minutes.
The Meliá White House benefits from a prime, central location in the desirable area of Regent’s Park and within close proximity to some of the main tourist attractions; London Zoo, Madame Tussauds, Sherlock Holmes Museum and the British Museum are a stone’s throw away. The shopping districts of Oxford Street and Bond Street are a short walk away, whilst access to the City is just 15 minutes away by car
Pros: Location is great, good access to big chunks of London by foot
Rooms are spacious for a big city
Staff very helpful
Cons: Gym a bit small
Too long a wait for elevators
Breakfast crowded late in the morning, not so special
Pros: The location was fantastic.
Cons: The out of town crowd the hotel attracts is undesirable... I often made to feel like second class due to the fact I am a woman... I hear this crowd often descends on London in the summer though so I can't slight the hotel for accommodating to them
Cons: The carpeting in the common halls was old and worn, giving the hotel a dowdy feel, like something one might find along a highway used for a quick overnight stay on a trip to someplace else.
Pros: Location, deluxe room quite good in size
Cons: Housekeeping not on par with 5 star hotels. Sometimes they forget to clean the room. I have to call to ask them to clean otherwise they would wait hours and hours before they clean.
Pros: Great location, great staff, great services.. the place is spotloss clean and neat.
Pros: very nice business hotel. Room was nice.
Cons: Lots of street noise from night clubs across the street. When the Queue formed 11pm + and especially when the club closed 1:30-2:30am, the street noise was very loud (above TV level). The only night it was not an issue was when it was raining.
The room also didn't have a bath tub.
Pros: The Hotel was convenient to the Tube and a lot of very nice restaurants and shops. Their free wifi was very fast!
Cons: The fitness center was a little small for that size hotel
Pros: staff very helpful room and details very nice.
Cons: not a memorable place. everything/ everyone nice in a generic way. lack of individual character
Pros: great access to numerous restaurants and shopping, staff is very helpful as is concierge with reservations

Pros: The Grand lived up to it's name, with a quiet, posh feel. Very comfy bed, and the staff were above and beyond in helpfulness, politeness and friendliness. Breakfast, while costly, was exceptionally well varied and high quality. And the location was superb! Everything was walkable if you wanted. If not, access to taxis, London bus tours, and the subway system was also right at hand. Overall, a great choice!
Restored Victorian hotel built in 1887 and situated just off Trafalgar Square in the centre of London; the National Gallery, Covent Garden and theatre district are all within three blocks walk.Charing Cross metro station is just few steps away.
Pros: Unfortunately we were there for one of the hottest June's in 40 years in London. No a/c in the hotel, just a small fan that we tried to situate to blow across the bed. There was one night during our stay where it cooled down enough at night that the 4th floor room was comfortable for sleeping. There was a/c in the breakfast room in the morning. Too bad we couldn't sleep there.
Breakfast was a small buffet of meat, cheese, bread, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and juices as well as tea/coffee. Enough to get us started for the day.
Cons: No a/c was really the biggest issue. If it had been cooler, it wouldn't have been such a big deal, but it was so hot while we were there we were sweating all day and all night making it uncomfortable to get any sleep.
Pros: Church Street Hotel is a wonderful hotel! I truly enjoyed the warmth of the staff, Angels and Gypsies restaurant, continental breakfast for a great price, and location. While the hotel is not in the thick of tourist destinations, it is close to bus stops, Denmark Hill station, and walking distance to restaurants, parks, and galleries. The staff were incredibly helpful - gave lots of suggestions for neighborhood attractions and directions. I also appreciated the attention to detail in the room. A great hotel and very creative decor! Will definitely come back!
Cons: Nothing. It was wonderful!
Church Street hotel is a Spanish Americana Oasis in the heart of downtown South London inspired by the warmth and sensuality of the Americas. With vibrant local art scene, effervescent night life, yet close proximity to central London, Church street hotel is an ideal location to explore both the cool, and quirky of Local London life, covering Brixton, Camberwell, East Dulwich, Peckham, to the more common central London attractions.
Cons: Looks like a five star hotel from the outside but has the rooms and facilities of a regular Sheraton...
Make the most of your day at our centrally-located hotel and spend less time in transit. You can connect with the welcoming city at Buckingham Palace and stroll over to the boutiques of Bond Street, Knightsbridge, and London’s West End theatres. After spending the day with family, friends, or colleagues, slip into slumber in one of our 303 guest rooms. Whether heading out, logging on, or just kicking back, enjoy intimate, comfortable furnishings, our Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience, flat screen TVs, and of course inspiring views of Green Park. Take time to enjoy conversation over an English afternoon tea. Unwind in our new bar, Smith & Whistle, and experience a true Mayfair local. Enjoy the great city of London without leaving the comforts of home behind at Sheraton Grand London Park Lane.
Cons: The rooms were VERY small. We switched from a postage stamp sized room to one with another 10 square feet.
The cleaning staff talked loudly on their cell phones as they went from room to room.
Pros: Everything was great, from the room, the location and the staff. I have never experience a more friendly or helpful staff. They were definitely there to make sure we were happy and comfortable, and they did a wonderful job!
Pros: Very clean. Friendly staff, quiet room.
Cons: Single room was small, and did not have a dresser, only a closet. The bed was kind of hard.
