We had a wonderful stay at Marchbankwood Guest House! The welcome was very warm and on arrival a complimentary cup of coffee was offered. The rooms are very large, comfortable and have excellent views. There is a cosy guest lounge and spacious dining room on the ground floor. The bathroom was large and clean and the bedroom (and all other rooms) were clean and tidy. Everything we needed was available. The hostess is very friendly and cooked us a delicious breakfast! We hope to visit this guest house again.
Excellent place to stay. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and spacious, beautifully decorated room as part of an elegant house with stunning views.Sally is a thoughfull hostess offering her lovely home for an enjoyable break on the way into Scotland, a few minutes off the motorway - not that you'd know it once you have arrived.
