Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Burundi.
Exceptions

Children under the age of 12 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 PCR-RT test result. Travelers are subject to a COVID-19 PCR test upon arrival at their own expense. The cost of a COVID-19 test is USD 50.
