Timor-Leste has restricted the entry of all travelers except for nationals and residents of Timor-Leste, passengers born in Timor-Leste, legal representatives of Timorese minors; and oil rig workers.
Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 24 hours before departing to East Timor.
Visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering East Timor.
Travelers returning from East Timor must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departure to the United States.
Visitors returning from East Timor are not required to quarantine upon entering the United States.
