COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 168 hours before departing to Bolivia.
Exceptions

Travelers must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued within 7 days prior to arrival, certified by a Bolivian consulate.

Quarantine requirements
Visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 10 days upon entering Bolivia.

Travelers returning from Bolivia must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours before departure to the United States.
Exceptions

Children under the age of 2 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test.

Travelers with proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding. Proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel.
