For restrictions that apply to vaccinated visitors, please check the official guidelines from the Cayman Islands for the types of accepted and permitted COVID-19 vaccinations, requirements on proof of vaccination certificates, vaccination validity period, and persons and/or groups that may be exempt from vaccination restrictions.
The restriction does not apply to:
- All vaccinated travelers (securely and non-securely verifiable)
- Unvaccinated Caymanians, Residents, and Work Permit Holders.
- Visitors who have close ties to the country (Persons who own local properties and businesses, or who are a spouse, civil partner, parent, step-parent, child, grandchild, step-child, or grandparent of a Caymanian or Resident)
- Unvaccinated children (under 12) accompanied by a vaccinated person
- Cruise Travellers
Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departing to the Cayman Islands.
Unvaccinated visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering the Cayman Islands.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
Travelers returning from the Cayman Islands must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departure to the United States.
Visitors returning from the Cayman Islands are not required to quarantine upon entering the United States.
