Border status

All travelers must obtain a Cyprus Flight Pass. All passengers traveling to Cyprus need to fill in and submit in advance, all required information and documents. Any travelers arriving in Cyprus without a Cyprus Flight Pass will be subject to a fine of 300 Euros.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Cyprus.
Exceptions

Travelers entering Cyprus from green countries will not need to demonstrate a negative PCR test for COVID-19 when traveling to Cyprus; they only need to provide certain information and solemn declarations. From March 1 to March 31, persons arriving from countries, which have been classified in the green category, will undergo a PCR laboratory test, the cost of which will be covered by the Republic of Cyprus. Travelers entering Cyprus from orange countries must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at a certified lab, taken within 72 hours prior to departure and upload it on the Cyprus Flight Pass Platform. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this requirement. All travelers will also need to provide certain information and solemn declarations.

Travelers entering Cyprus from red countries must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at a certified lab, taken within 72 hours prior to departure and upload it on the Cyprus Flight Pass Platform. They will also need to pay for and undergo a molecular PCR test upon arrival to Cyprus, the cost of which is 30 Euros at Larnaca airport and 32 Euros at Paphos airport; results of the test will be available within 3 hours, and will be shared with the traveler by SMS after their departure from the airport. Children under the age of 12 are exempt from this requirement. All travelers will also need to provide certain information and solemn declarations.

Travelers arriving from gray countries (any countries not defined as green, orange or red) must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR test result issued at a certified lab, taken within 72 hours prior to departure and upload on the Cyprus Flight Pass Platform. COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type
Travelers returning from Cyprus must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 hours before departure to the United States.
Exceptions

Children under the age of 2 are exempt from presenting a COVID-19 test.

Travelers with proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days prior to boarding. Proof of a recent positive viral test and a letter from your healthcare provider or a public health official stating that you were cleared to travel.

Quarantine requirements
Visitors returning from Cyprus will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering the United States.
Exceptions

Travelers who did not get tested, are advised to stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.​
