Entry is permitted to holders of an Iranian passport or holders of a valid visa. Travelers must have proof of having received a second dose in a 2-dose series vaccine at least 14 days before travel.
Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 72 hours before departing to Iran.
Visitors from the United States are not required to quarantine after entering Iran.
Travelers returning from Iran must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departure to the United States.
Visitors returning from Iran are not required to quarantine upon entering the United States.
