Fully vaccinated foreign tourists will be able to travel to Myanmar when eVisa issuing resumes. Selected international flights are now operating.
Foreign nationals who wish to travel to Myanmar by relief or special flights due to urgent official missions or compelling reasons are asked to contact the Myanmar mission for possible exceptions to certain visa restrictions. Myanmar eVisas, visas on arrival, and visa exemptions are not being issued currently. Flight suspensions have been extended until further notice.
Visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 72 hours before departing to Myanmar.
Visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering Myanmar.
Travelers returning from Myanmar must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departure to the United States.
Visitors returning from Myanmar are not required to quarantine upon entering the United States.
