Fully vaccinated visitors from the United States can enter Nigeria without restrictions.

Most travelers can enter Nigeria but there are restrictions. Health screening is required for all travelers on arrival by Port Health Officials and required to provide full contact details, including their address in Nigeria.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type

Unvaccinated visitors from the United States must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken within 48 hours before departing to Nigeria.

Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.

Details and exceptions
Travelers are required to upload COVID-19 PCR negative results to the national payment portal. All travelers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test on day 2 after arrival in Nigeria. All unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers are required o undergo a day 2 test of their stay at their own cost. The test will be booked and paid for when registering through the Nigeria International Travel Portal. Evidence of test booking will be required on arrival.
Quarantine requirements

Unvaccinated visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 7 days upon entering Nigeria.

Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.

Details and exceptions
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travelers are required to quarantine on arrival. Travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test on day 7 of quarantine, in addition to the day 2 test. Quarantine and testing will be booked and paid for when registering through the Nigeria International Travel Portal. This requirement does not apply to fully vaccinated travelers.
Documents
Travelers are required to register on the travel portal and fill in the online Health Declaration form.Travelers are required to upload their negative COVID-19 PCR test to the national payment portal and bring along an electronic or hard copy of the result. An Access Report containing a QR Code will be sent to the email address provided by the Passenger. Print out or download an electronic copy of this Access Report for presentation before boarding.
To visit Nigeria for Business or Tourism, you require a visa. A paper or embassy visa is the only type of visa available for visitors. Typically the visa is a stamp or sticker added to your passport. You must submit your application through the consulate or local visa center.

COVID-19 testing requirements
Test type

Travelers returning from Nigeria must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departure to the United States.

Details and exceptions
Effective:December 6th, 2021: A COVID-19 negative test result taken within 1 day before departure must be presented to the airline before boarding your flight. This applies to ALL incoming air travelers, regardless of vaccination status or nationality.
Children under the age of 2 are exempt from test requirements as well as travelers who have both valid proof or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days and a letter from a valid healthcare authority who has stated that they are cleared for travel. Refer to the CDC Website for more details.
Quarantine requirements

Visitors returning from Nigeria are not required to quarantine upon entering the United States.

Details and exceptions
Foreign nationals (non-U.S. citizens and non-U.S. immigrants) who are not fully vaccinated and are permitted to travel to the US by air by meeting certain vaccine exemptions are required to self quarantine for 7 days, unless they have a valid COVID-19 recovery document.
Travelers should also follow state and local requirements and recommendations after travel.
