Thailand is open to travelers from any country and territory around the world with entry rules based on vaccination status.
Travelers are required to register online for a Thailand Pass QR Code 3 to 5 days prior to travel.
Travelers with a history of COVID-19 infection who have recovered by medical treatment and travelers who have received at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine after post-infection must have a certificate of COVID-19 recovery.
International travelers must have medical insurance with a minimum coverage of US$10,000 covering treatment and expenses including those related to covid-19 for the total duration of their stay in Thailand.
Proof of confirmed SHA+ or AQ Hotel accommodation for 5-nights, and proof of prepayment for 1 RT-PCR COVID-19 test are required for unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated travelers.

Visitors from the United States are not required to present a negative COVID-19 PCR test or antigen result upon entering Thailand.
Unvaccinated visitors from the United States will need to quarantine for 5 days upon entering Thailand.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
Travelers returning from Thailand must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken within 1 day for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 1 day for Antigen (quick-test) before departure to the United States.
Visitors returning from Thailand are not required to quarantine upon entering the United States.
